Tracy is fantastic, for so many reasons! I came to Island Acupuncture for fertility support, once we decided to expand our family with baby #2. I had never gotten acupuncture before, and Im so grateful to have found Tracy. It took us 7 months to conceive our first child (within average but still grueling!), so at the young age of 36 I wanted to do all I could to improve our chances with baby #2. So to Island Acupuncture I went!Long story short - We got pregnant on our very first try! I started weekly sessions with Tracy about 3 months before we planned to start trying, to prepare my body for a healthy conception and pregnancy. We werent expecting it to happen right away, but we conceived on our first attempt after 3 months of treatment! Im now 24 weeks along and have since moved away from Alameda, but I definitely would have continued with Tracy through the pregnancy if I could.In addition to acupuncture, I got so much more than I expected out of the experience. Tracy demonstrates such kindness and empathy in her treatment, seeking to understand not only your physical needs/concerns but also the emotional side. She takes time to help you understand what shes doing and why, and went above and beyond to advise on my holistic fertility journey - not just the acupuncture and herbal supplements she provided. She recommended a free fertility app to track temperature, ovulation, and menstrual symptoms, and took time before each session to review that weeks chart and help me better understand my own reproductive system. I also appreciate that she never claimed her tools were the definitive answer to fertility - she was honest and research-driven in her approach, often explaining that these were simply drops in a larger bucket, contributing to a healthier reproductive cycle. Shes a kind and brilliant practitioner and I cannot recommend her more!

Tracy has been an invaluable support for our family. Whether its a sore muscle, flu like symptoms, or just balancing aging, she has kept our family healthy and supported. She excels in supporting the parents and the kids--we greatly appreciate the time she takes to listen and understand our needs, especially in connecting and making the kids feel comfortable. Her bedside manner and results are nothing short of 5 star. She is an expert in her craft and we trust her beyond words.

Tracy is an AMAZING practitioner! She was recommended to me by a friend. I went to see Tracy initially for menstrual issues and fertility preparation. She totally changed my period flow and helped me in my understanding of my body and my experiences with menstruation- in addition to de-bunking many PMS myths! I’ve continued to see Tracy as part of my regular care for health/nutrition/weight loss guidance in addition to support around chronic stress and the periodic achy joint or stiff ankle/knee. Tracy is an empathetic listener and her commitment in your care and wellbeing is heartfelt. I continue to see Tracy because I have witnessed the great benefits of her interventions. I went to Tracy for almost two years, and I couldnt recommend anyone better! Not only is she very good at what she does, but she also happens to be very caring and a great conversationalist! One of the best things for me about Tracy as an acupuncturist is that she meets you where you need to be met. Im oriented towards Western medicine, and Tracy was able to relate to me with very logical language, focused on muscles and nerves, explaining how acupuncture practically fits in with a larger treatment plan.No matter where you are on the Western/Eastern/Other medical spectrum, Im confident that she can meet exactly where you need to be met, too.Thank you for being so knowledgeable, and for being such a pleasant person, Tracy!

Tracy really is awesome! I had no idea what to expect, as I had never had acupuncture before. She is so knowledgeable and professional, which just seeing that made me more relaxed. My session was to help reduce stress and the first session I actually slept through the night, something I hadnt done in quite sometime. I definitely plan on going back and would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Tracy. What stands out for me is her expertise about all things female and how to best approach them with acupuncture, herbs and lifestyle modifications. She is caring, a great listener and very easy to talk to. She truly partners with her patients on their road to healing, and I felt like I had a coach, a cheerleader, a healer and a teacher in Tracy.

Tracy is very knowledgeable about how to get you back in balance and fix what ails you. I went to her with a flareup in my arthritis and inflammatory problems. She put me on a protein cleanse drink and restricted diet. Three weeks later I was back to being my energetic self, able to do my long distance bike riding and keep up my usual level of activities. She saved me from being the pre-mature 90-year-old I had suddenly become Thanks Tracy!

A week ago today I met Tracy by complete accident. I injured myself very badly, playing with my daughter at the park. I was laid up due to head and shoulder trauma. I knew what had happened to me was very serious. I took a chance at the more holistic approach to my pain and recovery. Tracy was hesitant at first to work on me, however Im very thankful she did. Her treatment not only gave me a burst of energy, that I didnt think was possible. She also, helped me emotionally try to process where I was in the healing stage and how long it can take for my traumatic situation to heal. I felt very blessed to have ended up in her care. I did a google search and five other names came up before hers. I called everyone in order and she was the only person to actually answer her phone. And she worked her magic to get me in that day. While I was on her table she called several places trying to get me in for an X-ray or CT scan. She even offered to drive me. She also knew I was here on vacation with my 2 year old and there was no way I was going to care for my child by myself, so she called around to help me connect with a baby sitter. What an amazing woman. Thank you God for people like Tracy.
