I recently had my first pregnancy experience with the North Atlanta Womens Care and the team was very attentive to all of my needs. Nurses and team treated politely and were responsive to all of my questions. Both Dr.Vivek and Dr.Cook took good care of me during my delivery and I never felt stressed throughout the process. Dr.Cook was my surgeon and the entire team acted upon real quick to all my emergency needs and I recovered well. Definitely would choose them over again.

A Very Attentive OBGYN! Even though different situations arise the providers here make sure your visit doesnt go to waste. In the case I cant reach my doctor the nurse practitioner is always willing to help and she always gets things done even if its just a precaution. I can tell whatever we discuss my doctor is always aware because by my next visit theres never any confusion on where we left off. Love my experience here.

This office is the worst ObGyn I have ever been to. As a new patient, they re-scheduled my apptm 4 different times. I tried to get an apptm since November 2023 with no luck . Finally they scheduled it for Jan 2024. I completed my paperwork online as directed by them. I get there and I was told they didn’t have my forms (which took 20 mins to complete) . So they gave me paper forms to complete again . I waited 30 mins to only be told that the doctor had to leave to the hospital and there was no one else that could see me. The receptionist looked like she didn’t care that my apptm had been rescheduled 4 times prior and then cancelled while I was in the office waiting . I couldn’t believe how awful their customer service was. The staff and the doctors don’t seem to care to see or help new patients. This place is awful!!

I am blessed with 2 beautiful babies three years apart. I went to NAWC for both the kids and had an amazing experience. Both the primary doctors Dr Vivek and Dr Cook took very good care of me in my entire journey from pregnancy to delivery. I always felt I was in good hands. All the nurse practitioners at the facility are very knowledgeable and have always been there to assist me when I had queries or concerns. The receptionists have been very sweet and friendly making the Dr office visit a breeze.

Going to the OBGYN is always awkward and stressful but the doctors and nurses here were really incredible every step of the way. Dr. Vivek was super kind and I felt like I could ask her anything. Her team of nurses were also amazing! They really made me feel like I was taken care of and I cant thank them enough.

This was the worst medical attention I ever received. So many unprofessional mistakes and attitudes. I came here as I had a medical issue, did the three tests needed: ultrasound, blood test, urine. The ultrasound tech had zero people skills and was rude and harsh, once done she sent me in a room where she kept sending different patients in and slammed the door after each person… zero care. Blood work person was nice and friendly.I then left to be called three days later to be told I need to come in and do blood work… because they have no record of mine. I was currently out of town so that wasn’t possible, they finally found it a day later. And I had to wait a week to speak to Dr. Cook. They sent me a text which did not work for the teleconference. I called them 20 minutes prior to our scheduled call and no one could answer my calls or VM. Finally a nurse answered and said the appointment is for a ultrasound because I never had one.You can see how frustrated and upset I am at this point… I ultimately never spoke to the doctor…never was talked to about the issues I was having… never going back. Clearly the doctor doesn’t care enough to directly reach out to me. Horrible place.

When I went in for my very first appointment with Dr Cook at 7 weeks pregnant, I had to wait 40 minutes to see the Dr. I was getting very frustrated, but Dr Cook was very nice and knowledgeable and I really liked her, so I decided to disregard the wait. I was very sick during my first trimester with nausea and dizziness. I was not vomiting, but the dizziness and nausea were preventing me from going to work and doing my regular activities. I called the office multiple times, and the same nurse seemed to always disregard my complains by saying “but your not vomiting you know” I didn’t not feel heard and Dr Cook never addressed the issue with me, or explained to me why or why not nothing else could be done about this. I was prescribed boniest 2x day, but it was not enough for me to feel well enough to actually work. I went in for my second visit at 11weeks and again had a wait of over 30 minutes. When the doctor came into my room to my surprise it was not Dr cook. Another Dr saw me and said its because she might be on call the day I deliver. I was only 11 weeks and had met my own Dr only once. I was upset because I wanted to get to know Dr Cook before meeting the other Drs and I expected meeting them during my 3rd trimester. I had to go back the next day for an ultrasound, which was done by a tech and no Dr was available in the office. I did not like the fact that the U/S is done when no Dr is available, and that I had to go in for a second visit. I didn’t get charged another visit co pay only because I had already met my maximum out of pocket, but I would have been, and I would have appreciated the Dr reassuring me on the same day that everything was ok with my baby. The office did call me the next day to tell me everything was fine. After my second visit I received a paper with an explanation of how much my delivery would cost and that I would have to pay everything in full by March. I had only seen my Dr once, and here I am being given charges months prior to when they are due. The office also told me they don’t do the anatomy scan in the office at 20 weeks and I would have to see an external clinic. Up to this point I would have given this practice 3 stars, but the real stress happened when I decided to change practices and asked them to fax over my medical record to my new practice. For over I week I was calling them and my new practice office was calling them unsuccessfully. I was not able to be accepted as a new patient without my Medical Records being sent over. After a week of frustration I went to the office and they finally gave me a copy and faxed the record. Today to my surprise, the new office calls me and say there is a visit record missing, which is from my last visit. I called NAWC and spoke to Liane who was rude and told me they have 30 days to close my chart and send me the records. I expressed to her my frustration with the lack of communication explaining that to me prior to now to which she showed no regards. I am pregnant and I am a patient and client deserving of communication and respect. I should be informed of things like this as a courtesy and respect. I am furious and I would never ever recommend this practice to anyone. This is an important moment in life when you are pregnant and anyone deserves to be treated well and received individualized care.

The customer service is horrible. The nurses line hangs up on you and they are extremely rude. This behavior is totally unacceptable. The nurse called to give me my test results. I didn’t understand the results and instead of explaining and breaking it down, the nurse was insensitive, rude, and hung up. She does not deserve to be a nurse! When asked her name she refused and hung up. Dr.Cook deserves a better staff!

Most of the staff was rude besides the physician. One of the nurses(?) at the front desk snapped at a couple, who was having trouble understanding the forms due to language barriers, Well you seem to know enough English to answer the questions. I couldnt believe I heard that. A different nurse asked if I have had a certain procedure done before and I said yes, it may have been this location but I wasnt sure, she cut me off and said Yeah no you havent. The people you have to talk to before seeing your doctor are hell to go through.

I have NEVER in my 43 years of life have experienced such loving care by a GYN doctor. Doctor Cook goes above and beyond in all aspects of her job. From blood work to surgery, she has been encouraging and meticulous with me, ensuring I was comfortable and happy.I started seeing her because of extremely heavy and irregular menstrual cycles which were causing severe anemia and resulting in frequent iron infusions. I barely felt my pelvic exam, she then had to do a colposcopy and she was gentle while explaining all she was doing and why.Yesterday, I had an ablation and Dr. Cook made sure my process was as smooth as possible. She is super friendly and keeps the atmosphere fun and light.I would recommend Dr. Cook and her team to ANYONE and will actually be setting up appointments for both of my young adult daughters to see her. I trust her with my life and my daughters lives.

Dr. Nicole Sparks and team are the best! Today I had my second visit with this practice at the Alpharetta location instead of the Lawrenceville location for a minor procedure. Both locations are great but for my procedure I needed to travel to Alpharetta.Immediately post procedure I did not expect my body to react as it did. I felt as though my body was weak and wanted to pass out, and Dr. Sparks and some of the nurses watched over me and helped me as a doctor’s office should until I regained enough strength and bodily control to be able to safely leave the office with my partner.Although I was unfamiliar with what was going on with my body’s reaction, they were by my side and helped me feel more calm and safe. And something that was truly great and made me feel valued and cared for was that Dr. Sparks herself reached out to me a couple of hours later to make sure I was okay. Thank you so much to the North Atlanta Women’s Care team! I look forward to a less eventful but equally pleasant follow up appointment in a few weeks. :)

UPDATE: I just have to lessen my review of this place. I have had two appointments cancelled because of different deliveries- and I was very understanding about both of them. I understand some things take precedent over non emergency visits. I’ve been ordered to get an HSG test by them and I had wait a WEEK to get those results because my doctor was on vacation.. I still tried to be understanding, but I am trying to get pregnant here. I’m already using a lot of patience in my fertility journey. Most recently, an appointment got cancelled again because of an emergency delivery and this appointment was to have my doctor call in a prescription for me to move into the next phase of fertility treatment… and she was going on vacation the following week so it was time sensitive. When a virtual visit wasn’t possible, we spoke over the phone and she told me she would call in the prescription and to just come sign the consent form the following week. I went in to sign the consent form (I waited a half hour to sign one piece of paper) and when I went to go pick up my prescription yesterday… it was never called in… I truly do try to be understanding about things, I really do. But would you feel like this medical team cared about your situation AT ALL at this point? I have been put on the back burner, made to wait an abnormal amount of time for test results, and medication that is time sensitive was just not called in… I really do like Dr. Agarwal- she’s smart and not too quick to just prescribe something; she wants to figure out your body but all of these mishaps have me second guessing whether or not this is the right place for me. The practice exists to yes help women that are pregnant but women that are TRYING to get pregnant already feel defeated. We need to know our doctor is at least trying to have our back. This place had a perfect review from me before.. I don’t want to knock it down to nothing but I can’t remain in the confidence I once had for it.Dr. Agarwal and the whole medical team were so sweet here. I’m always so nervous at the doctor and she was patient and helpful. I’m so thankful that this is where I ended up for my ONGYN needs.

The midwives are wonderful here. The low star review however is due to the fact they are still implementing “Covid-19” practices even though the president has declared the pandemic is over yet at their offices you are still NOT allowed to have anyone with you to your appointments, not even your own children when you have no babysitter. Please update your outdated Covid-19 policies.

Dr Sujatha Vivek and her staff (Hetal and others) are the best in the business and we are very grateful for receiving her care. Apart from being a highly skilled and trained Doctor, Dr Vivek is extremely courteous and super easy to approach/ask questions/clarify concerns; this is something that sets her apart from most other doctors. She provided clear guidance, answered all questions (including 100+ questions from my husband :)) and most importantly gave us lot of confidence & kept us at ease, which I think is very critical for the well being of any expecting mom/parents. We now have a healthy baby boy and I would highly recommend Dr Vivek!

This is the worst clinic I have ever been too. I would advise everyone to stay away from this clinic and go to others. They have very high prices and in comparison their service is very poor. They did not send my pap report for 3 weeks and whenever I called them, they did not pick up as they knew my number, but when I tried from my husband’s phone, they picked it up in one ring. When I told them I wanted to cancel my appointment, they called me to follow up with my pap report saying I would need to do an ultrasound. They are purely greedy people with very bad service. I was a short-termed patient here. My first appointment was ok and I was still excited to recommend the Ob/Gyn with others since they had a black physician. Now trying to schedule a new appointment they have totally let me down. I advised my 5 YO would be with me and they said they would not see me because of this. I spoke with the office manager who was rude and didn’t seem to have the want to help. I even called back and spoke with Dr. Sparks who “empathized” with me but said it’s a liability to have my daughter enter. I even recommended sitting in the car until a room was ready and they still didn’t seem to have any interest to help. So hopefully this review will help others in choosing the best care for themself and family!

I thought I would have a positive experience with this offfice but sadly no.1) Making an appointment with them is very challenging. I called thinking they would easily make an appointment as normal practices usually do, but this is not the case with this office. I called, they asked the reason, my name, phone number, said she was a nurse and someone would call me back. Someone called me back, asked same questions plus insurance details. Said they would later call me back. 3RD CALL, again same questions, I asked whether theyre are going to put me on the schedule, they said no, until the insurance is verified, they would call me back again. I said please dont call me anymore, just make an appointment, if the insurance doesnt confirm me, just cancel my appointment without calling me hundred times. I was driving that morning and they really made me stressed on the highway.2) When I came to the office the front desk lady was rude. I think her name was Hatel. But thats fine with me, I can tolerate rude people. She said that I needed to pay 200$ upfront although I think shey should had warned me of that before, when I was making an appointment. I would had gone to a different practice then, usually my insurance pays and I dont do any up front payments.3) The main issue arised when they did ultrasound. The nurse was doing it and at one point she asked the reception desk lady Hatel to come over. Hatel looked and then said straightforward without explaining anything else that I needed to go to the Emergency at Emory Hospital Johns Creek to have a surgery. There is their doctor and he is waiting for me to perform a surgery on me. Very straight. I started crying, I was pregnant 7 weeks and didnt expect any of that. While I was crying, they made me fill out their papers.4) On the way to the Emergency my husband called my insurance and they said that they do not cover the emergency at Emory Hospital Johns Creek so we had to go to the covered one, which is WellStar. When I was there Hatel called me and asked where I was in a rude manner like I was out whole night and she is my commandant and said our doctor had been waiting for me why I didnt go there. I explained everything about the insurance but she said you should had gone where I told you to go. At WellStar emergency they said that everything is fine, no surgery is needed, theyll do abortion shots and thats it. They asked the ultrasound screens, I called back to North Atlanta Womens Care, again there was Hatel she said they dont send anything even to emergencies. I said ok, I could go there by myself to pick up the ultrasound results if they were afraid of confidentiality issues but they said nothing is ready yet, only in 2-3 days it will be ready. I asked why I paid 200$ then? So at emergency they had to do the ultrasound again but at a much higher cost!5) Now I think that the practice wanted to make money of me or I dont know why they were so upset that I didnt go to their specific doctor. I think if I had gone there I wouldnt sit at my home now, I would be still at their hospital after unnecessary surgery.I wrote all this for your information Ladies, beaware. To share my experience with them, not a very nice one.
