Dr. Mottla is the best!! He worked with us closely through all steps of our complicated fertility journey, which included transporting embryos from another clinic, several transfers, and more. Dr. Mottla personally called me before and after each transfer, and to discuss our next steps. As a result of his commitment to his patients and expertise in the field, we welcomed a baby girl last month!!

Dr. Mottla was so kind and made the experience at shady grove truly amazing and manageable. Fertility treatments are stressful but he does a great job at making you feel comfortable and relaxed because I trusted him so much. So thankful I was his patient.

After many failed attempts on our own, Dr. Mottla was there to pick us up. He is very realistic with treatments and expectations. We really appreciated and valued his opinions and medical expertise. He was always there for us through all the ups and downs of fertility treatments. You can tell he really cares for his patients and always has their best interest in mind. In the end, Dr. Mottla has helped us grow the family we have been dreaming about and cannot thank him enough.

I wouldn’t be a mom of almost 2 kids without Dr.Mottla. He walked us through ever step of the process with one retrieval and two successful 1st FETs. He is the most kind and pleasant Dr to work with during such a challenging process. Even while he was on vacation he was still supporting his patients. My family is forever grateful for Dr. Mottla and his team.

My husband and I were lucky to transfer to Dr. Mottlas office. We had several unsuccessful IUI cycles before we were able to conceive using IVF. Dr. Mottla met with us on several occasions and took the time to explain the reasoning behind our treatment plan during each cycle. He has a warm and compassionate personality and always exuded confidence in our eventual success. I often got down after each unsuccessful cycle, but Dr. Mottla always allayed my concerns and cheered me up when I met with him. He has also assembled a great staff and works well with his team. We highly recommend him.

I cant say enough about Dr. Mottla. I am a surrogate and he has helped me to conceive two miracle babies for two very deserving couples. He is so compassionate with all of his patients and genuinely cares about the outcome of the fertility treatments.

I cannot recommend Dr. Mottla enough. He was personally and actively involved in all my cycles, and reached out within an hour if I ever left note that I needed him. Dr. Mottla pays close attention to your individual case, comes up with a plan that fits you, and doesnt hesitate to edit and involve as needed as we all learn more each cycle.

Dr. Mottla gave us hope from the start. He stayed with us, every step of the way, guiding us towards a successful IVF round after several failed attempts. He never let us give up. We just graduated from Shady Grove and we would recommend this place and this doctor to anyone!!! So grateful!

Dr. Mottla and SGF went above and beyond from start to finish. Being recently diagnosed with cancer and faced with the decision of fertility preservation I had to make a quick decision and a rushed cycle. SGF was so supportive and there for me every step of the way. Everyone was SO amazing from the front desk, the sweetest ladies taking blood, the ultrasound techs, nurses, and Dr. Mottla. I was blown away with their kindness. I couldnt recommend the Annapolis office more.
