The staff there is absolutely great! Elaine really cares about her patients and does a good job of helping each one on an individual basis. Peer support leader, Pam Chaffins, is another awesome employee that goes above and beyond to provide support and advice to each of her group members. Great place!

I absolutely live this clinic!! Everyone here really seem like they care about their patients and are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life of their patients. Mrs. Bethal Hall listens to her patients problems and concerns and fully dedicates herself. I also live being able to do groups via telehealth, it makes it so much easier because I have so many Dr appointments its difficult at times, Pam is a great peer support counselor and goes above and beyond,or at least she has for me!! Keep up the great work!!Blessed be!!

Five stars aren’t enough to accurately rate the great ppl & environment at Fresh Start. This is the first place I’ve been that feels like the staff truly cares about its patients & doesn’t see them as merely dollar signs. The entire staff is top shelf & they go above & beyond to help in every way & make you feel welcome. Theresa is the sweetest, most helpful receptionist ever & made me feel comfortable & at home from day 1. My nurse, Monica, is also extremely friendly & helpful. And, she does an amazing job of providing info from my visits & explaining the details. The peer support is so helpful & I personally appreciate it even more bc the counseling is provided by former addicts who can empathize bc they actually know & understand what addicts go thru. Therapists with no experience aren’t much help, regardless of how much education they’ve had. Pam & JD are awesome in leading the groups & offering support, even after hours, if necessary. And, my Dr, Elaine Fields, has been nothing short of wonderful in every aspect. She obviously cares about her patients & will do everything in her power to lower or completely eliminate the stress that comes with recovery. She is flexible & will work with you to get things done instead of trying to find any reason under the sun to punish or discharge patients. But, every single person I have encountered at Fresh Start has been extremely nice & helpful. This place should be the barometer that other treatment facilities strive to emulate. I’d give them 100 stars if I could!

Fresh Start changes lives!!!!! Ive been in the program for almost two years and couldnt ask for better services. From the front desk seeing Teresa , to the nurses, docs, and the peer support specialist, Pam who has been there even on her off time to help anyone who need her. These folks really do care about their patients!!! I have never been made to feel anything but welcome and genuine concern for my overall well being.

Been here since the beginning and I absolutely love my fresh start fam! I absolutely love me some Pam!! Best peer support I’ve had. ❤️❤️❤️ Would recommend to anyone who wants a sense of normalcy back in their lives. Fresh start is always there ready to lend a helping hand, just reach out!

The Drs here really care about your health and sobriety.They have helped me in so many ways. The groups and individuals are run by an amazing person named Pam. She is extremely helpful and caring. Shes helped me through a lot of hard moments in my sobriety and I dont know what I would do without her help. If your looking for a place that cares about your mental and physical health as well as your sobriety in ashland this is the place to go.

Fresh Start has made a huge impact on my life. Everyone there cares. Pam Chaffins is absolutely the most caring person. She dont treat like just any person she treats you like family. She gives you a number to call anytime day or night. Shes helped me tremendously. Thanks to this clinic for helping me get my life back.

Best place to go to when you really need help and are struggling with addiction. Great staff, my doc. Elaine is amazing. My councilor Pam is an awesome person to speak to whenever you need that one on one time to talk. The establishments exceptional experience is a testament to the proficiency of its staff and the seamless execution of appointments. With ample parking along with being wheelchair accessible, the Facility is handicapped-friendly.

I am came to update my review bc I honestly can not say enough good things about this office and the staff that I have encountered there! First I have to start off with Pam, because If it wasn’t for her I would have never known about this office and potentially never gotten this far into my recovery! All other clinics I have been to, I have never felt comfortable or at “home”. Not only does Pam do an amazing job at work in recovery, she also does outside of work. Also a big shoutout to Elaine Fields..I’ve never met a doctor that genuinely cares about her patients..even when I thought My insurance had lapsed she had my shot for me that had already paid for and she had me come in the office free of charge just so she knew that I was safe for another month while I got insurance situated (even tho everything ended up being okay with my insurance)! I hadn’t reached out bc I thought I didn’t have insurance and she called me bc she was worried about me..no other office or doctor would have done that! These people truly care about seeing people beat addiction! Hopefully soon I will be done with my program, but I will forever be grateful for this office!

We love all the people here, especially Teresa at the front desk. Shes always so cool.. my life has changed from this program and Ill forever be grateful to my Dr and the all the rest of the staff. But Teresa is most def my favorite. Thank you Teresa, and everybody else at fresh start.

This place has helped me overcome my addiction and stayed supportive through all my yoga and downs. Pam is my peer mentor and she truly is like family. She treats me and all her clients with understanding and respect. Its a big factor in my recovery.

Everyone at Fresh Start, is so nice! Elaine,Pam,Ashley,and everyone!! From front office to the back! They work with me. So I can keep my job! Witch is a very big deal! They help everyone, that wants help! They go above and beyond! It’s hard to find a good doctor. But to find a great doctor!! So if you need help, I would definitely recommend!! This place is so amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful and accommodating.. The woman at the front desk, Teresa, she especially goes above and beyond and always so friendly. Fresh start is honestly the best recovery/pain management I have ever been to. They have helped me through a lot of extremely tough times. Specifically my peer councler Lory I really connected with her on another level and she personally helped me through the toughest time and she really gives her patients her all! And Liz my case manager has helped ne beomyond words.!!Just wanted to say thanks fresh start but nist importantly thanks to Lory and Liz for beibg there for me during the hard times and never giving up on me! I have been in treatment for nearly 8 yrs now. I spent 6 years between 2 other clinics, and 1.5 years at Fresh Start. I absolutely love my recovery team. I have never met more understanding, knowledgeable, thourough, compassionate people.Dr. Elaine Fields saved my life more than once.. she treated me as a REAL patient not just another junkie or a $$$. She found many things wrong with my health that had been ongoing yet hidden for years. She was the first Dr to ever tell me that she believed me.. when I told my story to other drs; I was rushed, scoffed at, or they acted like I was just telling them what I thought they wanted to hear.. she also has hands down the BEST bedside manner of any dr I have ever seen. I feel I have honest support and they genuinely care for my health and wellbeing.. They are also able to take care of counseling, dr referrals and primary care all in the same facility.( I have severe dr anxiety so this is a major paid for me!) I would highly recomend them to anyone seeking to change their lives. Whether it be a long timer like me or a first timer, they will know how to help you. Everything is within each individual patients time line. Nothing ever feels rushed or like i have been forced with them... I thank God every night I found them when I did (as I may not be here to tell my tale if I hadnt!)Goodluck on your journey and take care!

Good Place ! I love my peer support Lori shes just great if she sees me struggleing with trying to talk about things she understands and dont push me. She takes time out of her day just to call me from time to time just to make sure im ok I want to say thank you that means alot and shows that you are compassionate of helping and listening! & thank you to everyone else that is there for me there!

I have been a patient at fresh start for a long time and this is the best program I’ve been in the staff is amazing and the peer support specialist Pam is the absolute best peer support specialist I’ve ever had not to mention all around awesome person!!! I highly recommend this program!!! I’ve been in treatment at other places but Fresh Start is the best treatment program around!!!!

This place is amazing !! The staff is wonderful !! The Dr. is the best she really cares about us and wants us to do good she looks at u like u are a real person not garbage!! Also the peer support really helps like to give a shout out to my girl Lorrie who is real and raw and would do anything to help anyone she won’t give up on anyone !!!!

I wouldnt be where I am today without the wonderful staff here. Elaine, Pam and Bethel have made such a major impact on my life. They were definitely a big help and some of my biggest supporters in finding my way working in the recovery field.

Pam has been a complete life saver to me, I truly don’t know what I would do without her services..it doesn’t matter what time of the day that I need her, she is always there to answer her phone and coach me through things even after hours. Best place great with you work, Monica is by far one of the friendliest people there . Shes very welcoming, and able to make you fell comfortable. Recommended fresh start for many reasons but the staff is why I love this place.

I go to freshstat. It has really helped me over come my addiction. Im so thankful for the staff. Dr fields is great dr. And you cant beat lori for peer support. She is awesome. Elizabeth the the best . She does a lot for me. So if your addicted to drugs. Please go to freshstat. And get your life back.

Has the best primary care doctor I have ever seen. She is very thorough and makes sure to get to the root of my problems, and how to correct those issues. She has great bedside manner and is there for the patient. 💯 They also have really good counselors now, I would like to mention mine, Nicki she has we ABOVE and BEYOND to help me reach goals I didnt think were possible, just a fantastic person!! NICKI ROCKS!!! ALSO want to THANK FREASH START ALL AROUND for how far I have come in my recovery!! Thank you FSHC!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, couldnt shout it enough!! Been here for years, caring, super nice doctors, Pam the counselor is great also. Highly recommend for non judgements care. I also get my primary care here. Excellent care also. All in one.

This is a wonderful place with nice staff and a welcoming environment. Chriscia Bane was very knowledgeable and helpful on my addiction treatment. She really cared about what Im going through.

This place is amazing in everyway...If your serious about your soberity and wanting to take control back of your life this is the place to go..Everyone there is so thoughtful and they genuinely care about you...It doesnt matter who you have to see....Like Lori for Peer Support shes so supportive and really listens Ive even texted her late in the evening before and she always responds..Then they are Elaine Ive never had and doctor to actually care the way she does....Everyone at Fresh Start is amazing and definitely makes the journey of recovery so much easier and better....❤

Well Pam is my peer support councilor and they take time out and see me one on one and I appreciate that and Im so lucky to be there they have helped me in everyway with being addicted to pain killers and now Im clean have been for over 5 yrs now and if I have any problems all I have to do is contact either Pam or Lori they always get back to me in a timely manner and mrs fields is my doctor for my recovery and I do appreciate her even more she was my family doctor as well but it was too much on her and now she just takes care of recovery and I still go there for primary care this clinic is so helpful and ashley the nurse there shes the back bone of the entire staff.. but anyways if you need help with addiction give freshstart health center a call they will help you in everyway possible and if you just need to talk to a counselor if your feeling depressed call them they can help more than you know my hat is off to freshstart health center to the staff and specialty Pam thank you so much
