I’ve been in twice in the past week, once for my son and once for myself, and I can’t say enough great things about the staff. Everyone has been beyond nice, helpful and very attentive. We will continue to comeback. Scheduling, check in and the care is much appreciated.

I hate going to the dr unless absolutely necessary and I absolutely had to go yesterday, with a painful ear infection. I did the paperwork ahead of time on my phone so that saved time when I got there. They were all so nice and friendly. I only waited afew mins before being called back. Didnt have to wait very long either. The dr I met was great and very professional. Overall, I was in and out very fast. He electronically sent my prescriptions too so they were ready by the time I got there. I definitely will be coming back to this place next time I get sick enough and need to. Very well worth it!

The entire visit was exceptional. From the lady at the front desk, Vicki. To the nurses Shannon and Trinady who took my vital signs.. The provider Adam was very thorough with his exam. Would highly recommend this Clinic.

Made an online appointment for 1200, I was seen and out of there by 1225. Not only was they fast but they was GREAT. Definitely the best walk in clinic I have been to in this area. Dr.Neumann was fantastic, thank you!

Extremely overcharged us on a boot for a foot injury with no heads up for us to be able to make an informed decision. Charged $325 for what we could have paid less than $50 elsewhere. That feels fraudulent.

If I could give it more stars I would. FastPace in Decatur was always too crowded, disorganized. Even with an appointment you still had to wait a while. So I went to AFC instead. It was my very first time there. I didnt expect them to be this good. Spic and span clean waiting room. Quiet. Flawless front desk and pre-registration. Medical assistant was so sweet and kind. Best of all, the NP explained my condition so clearly... far better than any doctor Ive seen about this issue... and Ive seen many! Exemplary bedside manner. Overall, it was a pleasant, efficient, speedy, and hassle-free experience. Ive been to so many medical offices in this area. They pale in comparison to this urgent care. I wonder if I can transfer my care to them as my PCP? Thank you, AFC Urgent Care!

I went in with a swollen bruised ankle after a bad fall. Everyone was friendly and professional while getting a x-ray that showed a bad break. The Dr and nurse explained everything they did and why.I would go back and definitely recommend them.

Ms. Jackie was amazing with my day as she is every time we are in the office! My daughter absolutely adores her! She took great care of her and made her feel comfortable! My daughter gave her a big hug as we were leaving! Thank you Ms. Jackie for always taking great care of my little girl!

Me and my daughter came in yesterday sick with what was determined as viral. The reason I wanted to share this review is because I was one exhausted and sick mom when I came in, the doctor and nurses were SOO good to me and my girl. Ive never met a group of women that were so kind and caring. They were reassuring and there was no judgement what so ever. Ill always remember how I was treated and talked too. Ill always remember that act of kindness when I really needed it. Thank you.

I needed to have some tests done. The receptionist, nurse, and physicians assistance were friendly and helpful. This clinic is my preferred place to go when an nexpected illness occur. I have and will continue to recommend this provider.

I’m from out-of-state and had a great experience at this facility. Everyone was courteous nice. I was signed in and seen by the doctor within a matter of minutes of my arrival.

The staff are phenomenal they took really good care of me I would recommend this Urgent care clinic above all others. I was treated with respect and kindness. My medical situation had me scared to be quite honest the staff showed me so much love and support not to mention they went to work right away. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Athens TN to anyone in need of a doctor! I have been there several times now. They know what they are doing an they care genuinely about their patients. I even got a follow up call to check on how I was doing. A rare find these days!

I have had nightmare charges from Fast Pace and refuse to go there. I passed two of them to get to AFC Athens. This place was awesome, only thing better than the facility were the team members! It was on Memorial Day and no one was in a bad mood for working the holiday. Actually it was drastically the opposite. From reception, nurse, to the doctor, they were so concerned about my health and pain. They were kind and considerate on a personal level! I’m two days removed and doing great from my lower back pain. I am grateful to have met this great team!

Everyone there, especially the physician was so kind and pleasant and professional. The facility is clean (and cold), the physician was so thorough with my son and answered his concerns regarding a rotator injury.. It was one of the best urgent care centers that we have ever been in. I highly recommend coming here if you need medical assistance.

I was treated with respect and welcomed at the door. I was there for my DOT physical, and it was an amazing experience! The Doctor treated me like a patient and not a number. He shook my hand and looked me in the eye with a welcoming smile .TY Doc:) The staff was great, ladies at the front desk ty. Opps almost forgot the young lady who got my weight down ty. The place was spotless and I was in and out( Nascar for humans) Ty Urgent care it means alot to be seen by ppl who care....gonna patent that last part lol.

The staff and doctor went above and beyond to check on my son to see why he was sick. Super friendly and clean facilities. Only downside is they couldn’t look up my insurance.

The doctor thought my lungs were clear. She was great. Then radiology called and said I have pneumonia. Im thankful for afc double checking. It has never been a bad visit.

Brought my daughter here for the second time now and it was a great experience from start to finish. Front desk staff was awesome as was the nurse and doctor. It wasnt very busy and we were in and out pretty quickly.

The visit was efficient, fast, and effective. I have never received a shot in the hip that was so quick and painless and I am very needle wary. Christina did an amazing job in that regard. I was in and out in 20 mins and headed to church on time with much needed relief of my pain. The provider was effective and kind as well.

Ive always gone here. And I really like this clinic and everyone here. But now this clinic is not taking any other insurance except their own. I have BCBS for goodness sake, which is literally taken everywhere! Now I will no longer be able to go here due to bureaucracy. Flippin ridiculous!!

Everyone that works here are soo polite and nice. Very professional staff. We were in and out, even with an X-ray. The Dr, explained everything very well.

Vicki at reception was an absolute angel, so understanding and patient. The nurse who checked me in was kind and all smiles. And the NP who saw me was right to the point and took care of me in no time. In and out in about half an hour max.

Great service! Got me in and out fast. They were able to take X-Rays and get results back in minutes. Highly recommend!

I won’t be back. Telling someone a medicine they actually need and is SAFE for a pregnant patient, “i won’t prescribe because it’s not safe, it will hurt the baby” is uncalled for and rude. I’ve had this medicine prescribed SEVERAL TIMES while PREGNANT and it’s 100% safe. and don’t be rude when someone says they don’t want tested for covid especially after they elaborate that they haven’t been exposed and get tested regularly.I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO SEE DR. MCCROSKEY or however you spell it!ALWAYS. CHOOSE. FASTPACE.

The staff is phenomenal, go above and beyond. The building is very clean! They were quick, whereas most dr office are not. Cannot thank them enough. Will use them in the future.

I chose this urgent care, because they accepted my insurance and convenience! Im so glad I did! First of all I didnt even get there until 7:45 which was 15 minutes before they closed! I almost didnt stop because it looked closed but I have had poison oak for a few days and it was spreading faster I went onto the door and went in. I was greeted by one of the nicest, friendliest most kind lady! She said yes you still have time to be seen we dont close for 10 more minutes! So I gave her my insurance card and idea answered a couple of questions on a paper, didnt have to write a notebook like most places! Then was called back right away by a very sweet and friendly nurse! She wasnt rushed like it was closing time, she welcomed me with care! Then in less than 5 minutes a nurse practioner came in and took her time was very professional and patient, she decided what we should do, then the nurse before came back in gave me a steroid shot then the nurse practioner came back and told me she had already sent my antibiotic creme and some medicine over to the pharmacy! This was the best care Id ever received at a walk in clinic ever! If I knew their names I would mention them, because they deserve to be recognized! We tried AFC for the first time the other day and it was a great experience. The wait wasn’t bad at all and everyone was super nice! Definitely will be going to AFC from now on!

Really nice people and fast in/out. They have X-ray machines. Fair prices on self-pay.

I had to come back again this week due to my fall. I was in and out in 30-40 minutes. Saw the nurse, went over things, saw the doctor, had xrays and consult after and everyone was kind and still friendly at closing time.

I had a great experience. Everyone was very kind and smiling and made the visit fun. Great job!!

The staff/Doctor were really nice ,but I felt like a was at deaths door I had been exposed to covid they did test was negative 2 hrs wait nothing done for my condition, next day self tested was screaming positive.

NP was very nice and answered all my questions It’s my second time using the clinic and all the people who work there are fantastic. I would be proud of the entire staff and I would recommend the clinic.

It was a good visit. Some of the questions on the paperwork were repetitive. You would answer 1 question and the very next question was the same question but different wording. I felt like that was a waste. Otherwise it was a good experience the staff was very friendly and I was in and out quickly. They were having some trouble with the computer system but that wasnt there fault.

Everyone was very nice the ladies at the checking area. The pa was very nice and explained everything to you. Very kind and considerate of your needs.

The physician on call was extremely helpful and very nice and polite. Didnt have a wait time at all. Will return again if need arises.9

I rushed in last minute with my 5yo daughter who had a pretty nasty laceration across her knee and you guys were AMAZING! I knew I made the right choice in bringing her to you. Best urgent care EVER. Nice staff fast service and very thorough care for my mom who was here from Texas for a wedding. They listened to her and how she felt diagnosed her and 4 prescriptions later got her to feeling better all in about 1 hour. This was our first time going here and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this walk in facility.

Super friendly staff. non judgemental of any situation. I was a walk in appointment and spent a total of about 30 mins there including paperwork. Very satisfied with care never rushed or anything they were just quick to see me.

I went in today.after I got checked in,it wasnt 5 minutes till I went to room three. It was 10-15 minutes PA came in. Got my diagnosis and I was out. In and out with prescription no more than an hour. They even found a possible future issue I will need to have checked up. I will definitely return here and I do recommend them. Nice friendly people who listen and respect your wishes.

I brought my grandson in because of high fever. They took amazing care of him. They listened to what I had to say. The staff is so professional and sweet. Anyone who knows me knows my children and my grandbabies are my world. I would definitely take anyone of them there again. This is a old post I forgot to send.July 21st 2024 I went to the clinic because feet had gotten burned in Florida. I have neuropathy. So I didnt notice them until I showered. Marty Pascerlla noticed I had congestion, cough a fever. I hurt from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. She thinks it may be Covid. I also am being tested for my kidneys. I have been to AFC some. Every time I have had the best experience. The girl who checked me in was amazing. She helped me. Because I felt so bad. I couldnt think. The girl that did my vitals and everything. Was so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend AFC.I went into the clinic again today. September 19th, 2024. My right foot is not healing well. Marty Pascerlla suggested a vascular doctor. So thats what I am doing. She made me a referral. Shes amazing. The entire staff is so great. They are helpful, kind, respectful. All around great staff.

I took my daughter (13 months old) because she was breaking out in a weird rash. Dr. prescribed steroids, which I was not very fond of. I called her pediatrician the next day they were open, got an appointment, and was told specifically to not give her the steroids. I am very glad I got a second opinion after the AFC doctor prescribed the steroids, before giving them to her.

The staff is always super friendly and prompt at taking care of everyone. This time, Christina was the one who took my vitals, and she was so sweet. She was so attentive, and even brought me water for my sore throat. The provider, Mandy, came in and explained everything so well. Urgent cares typically feel like they are rushing you in and out, but not here. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of!

Woke up with a horrible ear ache. Scheduled on line. Came to office. There were 6 patients in front of me. I chose to sit in car and wait. Time went by quickly. Staff was so nice. Christy did an excellent job with my shot. I didnt even know she had given it to me and she said all done. Most pleasant shot I have ever received.

Quick service, friendly staff, high tech equipment. I was there for about an hour total, the NP I saw was very knowledgeable and friendly, gave me options about how I wanted to be treated, and gave me information on how to follow up if I needed further care. I was very satisfied and would return if the need arose.

Ive been to AFC urgent care twice now and both visits were wonderful. Staff are friendly and polite, and the nurse practitioner (Jacqueline) is beyond amazing. She goes above and beyond to fix what ails you and makes the entire experience great! Shes knowledgeable and relatable in a way that makes you feel comfortable right away, I highly recommend her to anyone that needs care. Its a little over a 30 minute drive one way for me and its more than worth the trip if I need to be seen. Wait times are reasonable as well and their mobile app is very user friendly. Ive had the best experiences with them and have received wonderful care both visits. I cant thank them enough for how kind and helpful they have been.

The only way that this could be better is if you had primary care services as well. I love all the doctors and practitioners there.

I had a great experience at AFC! I was greeted by 2 very friendly young ladies. The nurse who took me to my room was very friendly, and funny too! Jackie, the Nurse Practitioner was not only very professional and thorough, but also kind and really listened to my concerns. I also had a super sweet lady who took a chest x-ray for me. I pray God blesses each of them for their sweet spirit! ❤️❤️

AFC does a fantastic job. The receptionist is efficient, the medical assistant is very kind, and the provider (Brian) is knowledgeable and fast (but not rushed).

My family has been to this office several times in the past. We have received excellent care from all of their staff. It’s always a pleasure to come to this office.

I visited AFC in Athens, TN today as I had been feeling under the weather this week and wanted to make sure what I was doing at home to medicate was appropriate. I think most can relate to wanting to feel better quickly! I was welcomed by a friendly and helpful front office staff member. I was seen by a nurse within 15 min of arriving and a NP/MD within 20/25 min. I was grateful it was nothing serious and the care the entire staff provided was very kind and compassionate. I would recommend this AFC practice. Thank You! 💙

Went here today for ear pain and another symptom and they had me in within 10 minutes saw a nurse promptly talked to Dr (Miss Jaqueline)?? She was very thorough and helpful she had nurse (Miss Christine)?? Flush my ears out…she was very patient with me as I was acting like a baby because my ears were so sore and in painI had been having this issue for MONTHS and saw my primary care Dr for it several times and they had never once actually looked into my ear and just gave me nose spray!??? Anyhow I’m not here to bash that office… just so glad I finally decided to try somewhere different and this place really saved the dayChunks the size of peas and beans came out of my ears and now I feel SO much better!! I am so grateful to the 3 ladies that helped me and even the nice receptionist up front just made everything so pleasant and easyBoth things I came in for were addressed they completely fixed one issue and sent me in medicines for both issuesI will 100% be coming back here whenever I need a doctorThey were also sensitive to the fact I am currently uninsured and helped look for low cost medicinesThe ear flush was only $25?! I would pay much more than that for the relief I feel right now-Patricia R

I cannot believe how slow this visit was. Not only did she tell me 15 minutes that took an hour the excuse was one provider. Then get more. A bare bones staff during peak cold and flu season is a joke and insulting to those of us paying for the service. You wonder why no one chooses you first. This is why.

Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Doctor was caring and concerned. Nurse that took my vitals was a little abrasive and acted like shed rather be doing something besides bother with me. Online check-in feature is nice. Place is clean. Overall good experience.

VA clinic in Athens Tn sent my husband over to urgent care because VA doesn’t have X-ray or tests for Covid etc. I was Surprised because Everyone from the lady at check in front desk, nurses, PA and all were So nice and smiled! The best walk in we’ve ever been too!!

Extremely courteous and helpful at check in. The wait to see the NP was about 30 minutes. The clinic was very busy. The NP was very courteous and to the point on my diagnosis. Everybody was on point and helpful. That is the only Urgent Care that I frequent when needed.The only thing I would mention is with all the Covid going around in Athens, TN, masks should be mandatory at this time.Love the APP, and the ability to schedule on line.Bonnie Hampton

Waited almost 2 hours to have my son seen. When the doctor made it in, she was rude. Wouldn’t send a doctor note for my son after testing him and diagnosing him with strep throat for the amount of time he was actually going to be out sick. The note only covered 2 days. Don’t take your sick kids here if you need them to give you an adequate note so you don’t have unexcused absences. Definitely not worth the wait time. Also, they NEVER. Have an X-ray tech and their dermatologist is only there a couple of days. Use the urgent care by the high school for better care and service.

I brought my nephew in last night at 7pm. The check in process was so easy. The nurse quickly brought us back. She was so patience with my nephew when it came to the swabs. The provider Mandi was amazing with him.

My husband and I came in today because we both have been sick. My symptoms were much better but my husband was getting worse. I’ve had some issues with insurance updating from one employer to another and they were very accommodating in helping me get what I needed done. They also foster an inviting environment and were attentive to my needs. Would absolutely recommend!

We pre-registered so our wait was around 10 minutes, then we were taken to the exam room where my husbands vitals and a short interview was done...we waited another 10-15 minutes for a nurse practitioner and she diagnosed and gave us a plan of care which was exactly what I thought was needed(I being a retired RN). Everyone was very kind and professional, so we were pleased. The only miscommunication was where the prescriptions were being sent, which was minor because they straightened that out immediately. I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care!

The initial visit was fine and just what I would expect. I had a negative test result and there was no further follow up needed. The staff took over 30 minutes to give me a paper saying I could go! And this was only after I had to open the door and try and find someone. Sorry that is very poor. What a waste of my time.

The office is so nice and clean! I love that youre able to fill out all of your paperwork electronically, very convenient! I also love that everytime Ive been here its been sooo quick, you wont be sitting and waiting forever. The absolute best part about this place is the staff!! Kayla, Christine, and Dr. Jackie are all so sweet and kind. Dr. Jackie really takes the time to listen to her patients concerns, makes the appointment so comfortable, and is phenomenal with kids! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

My daughter an i went for the co-vid testing I had my results in 20 unfortunately they were positive for me my daughter has to wait a couple days for her results but the staff was very friendly and supportive of are needs and have already told several people about the testing have highly recommended them to everyone (this is the second time that I came back to this place)The place was great we were in and out in no time and the staff was super friendly and helpful thanks for everything you do there and I would highly recommend this place and will be definitely coming back when I need to

Came in because I have staph on my face. Becky took care of me and was the absolute sweetest person. Defiantly knew what she was talking about and showed so much care. Defiantly recommend her.

Very impressed with this Urgent Care facility. They were professional, caring, and fast. They have electronic sign-in and paperwork which I think helps speed up the process. My husband was seen quickly, in and out within an hour. The front staff were considerate and very helpful. The FNP who saw us was empathetic, listened to our concerns and had great recommendations. We were self-pay and the price was a bit higher than I expected but well worth it for the quality of care we received. Highly recommend AFC Urgent Care if you are in need of good health care.

I feel the nurse practitioner assumed that I was uneducated and talked down to me. I am 58 years old and I know after years of sinus infections and ear infections in recent years that most if not all the time I require and antibiotic to get well. She kept telling me I have a virus. Well that maybe be true to begin with but no one else around me has gotten sick. I feel I have a bacterial sinus infection possible a secondary infection from flu. Now I have an earache. I will never go back there. They treated me like I was trying to get narcotics. I just wanted an antibiotic for my sinus and earache infection. You would think from how she talked to me that I was in there every week trying to get meds. I can’t even remember the last antibiotic I have taken. Unfortunately my primary care physician was not available. I forget you have to schedule to be sick 😡😡

Came in for an xray on my Ankle. Workers were very nice/professional. I would highly recommend coming here over anywhere else for your needs!

Went to urgent care yesterday and was able to register and do all the paperwork online before coming to the office. Once in the office, I was checked in and seen by the nurse and the doctor. I was really hurting after traveling out of state and they tested me for everything. Dr prescribed exactly what I needed. Feeling so much better today.🌞 I would definitely go to urgent again if feeling ill. You guys saved my life. Thank you. 🙏🤗🙏

I paid $110.00 to be told that I need to take Mucinex. In which I was already taking. Facility should have gave me something for what I paid. She wrote me a script for what I was already taking and the script wasnt covered by insurance, because its overthe counter! So this visit was a waste of time and money for me, but they made money! Smh

The staff was great, even though they were SLAMMED with patients, the nurse on my visit Ms.Tonia was amazing and fast. The physician on duty Jackie Edleblute handled my injured finger quickly professionally and was courteous to boot. I appreciate the effort and care you put into your clinic and I would go there again .... if needed,. Hope its not though ;>)

We moved here recently and haven’t found a Dr. When I became I’ll and needed to be seen. I went to AFC. The admission process was really easy. The staff was awesome, and the Dr was knowledgeable, kind, and listened to my concerns.

I wish I could have given a positive review because my husbands experience here had been good which is why we came back. My experience was unfortunately not like that. I came in just a couple minutes before closing but I had called beforehand to make sure that was OK and was told yes. Shortly after I came in an employee made a couple rude comments. Then I went back into the room and was told they had already shut their xray machine down so they would have to start it back up. After waiting a few minutes they said they couldnt get part of it to come back up and I could either come back the next day (which I couldnt do) or they could send an order to the hospital to do it that night, so thats what I did. So now I paid them 107 dollars to do absolutely nothing for me and the xray is going to cost more because I had to get it done at the hospital. Cant recommend this place unfortunately.

Had a horrible head and chest with a cough that wouldnt allow me to sleep. Went to AFC and left with a steroid pack and some coughing pills. After day one on steroids I was so much better and could get relief in chest. Had been taking mucinx and it wasnt helping at all. Once the steroid relived pressure I could start healing right up.

They have always been super fast getting us in and out. What makes me love them so very much is a NP that works the Dr.Jacqueline Edleblute she is super sweet, very thorough and actually takes time to explain stuff to the child or parent in laymans terms on a level whomever it is can understand and explains everything to how the meds need to be taken to how they look everything she makes my kids feel more confident in the fact it will be better l.o.l .we love them period.

Christina was awesome very helpful. Nice to find a place where the nurses, staff, and providers are sweet and caring especially on a Sunday afternoon when they could be at home enjoying the weather.

Nmi knew I had covid, which they confirmed. My concern was to make sure it didnt settle in my lungs. They gave me a prescription which took care of it. The wait wasnt bad either.

Staff are all very friendly and process is seamless. Although it’s not somewhere you ever want to have to go, it’s quick, effective care. I have always been pleased with every visit.

Negative: Still has a mask mandate and one of the nurses was kind of rude with no bedside manner.Positive: PA was amazing and the rest of the staff were really good. Quick service and they offer in officeX-Rays which made this the perfect place to go.

I was thoroughly impressed with the staff. The staff behind the counter, nurse, physicians assistant and doctor. Very professional and sympathetic. I never felt judged and I was expecting that. My only issue is that walk ins vs appointments, there is no priority. However; I was brought back faster than at my PCPs office.

I scheduled my appointment online, filled out all paperwork online, and got in to see someone promptly at my appointment time. The office staff was courteous and efficient, Nurse Christina was so kind and caring, and the physician listened and got me the care I needed quickly and effectively. Highly Recommend!

These people are so amazing. It happened to be my birthday and the office managers birthday also, I went in to get a foot X-ray and she came in to wish me a Happy Birthday and then came and brought me a cupcake ( after of course she made sure I wasn’t a diabetic lol). They were all so welcoming and kind. Never have I gone to a doctors office or a urgent care facility and been treated with so much respect and like they really enjoyed helping their patients. A+ job. Thank you to all the staff and provider for making my birthday better under the circumstances!!!!
