As a client, you will receive quality care and resources by a team of people who genuinely care about the well-being of the community that they serve. As an employee, you will meet a loving team of people who are simply not equipped with the interpersonal skills for leadership. It is a revolving door for a reason. When things were good, it was great. However, leadership was beyond reproach. And my manager who was supposed to be a mentor to me, towards the end of my time there, threw me under the bus with lies and attempted to gas light me on my way out. Upper management coordinated with each other to push well intending employees out the door so that they could upkeep their unethical systems. This place is filled with beautiful, well intending, well educated individuals who do good work, but they commit just as much wrong to their staff load. I love them and pray for their personal growth as the organization expands.

Very rude! “Harm reduction”? “HealthCARE”? I got there at 3:05pm after jumping through hoops to get off work early to be there well before closing time of 4:00pm. I was told that I wouldn’t be seen because they take their last at 3:00. Further, when I politely asked to speak to the provider, the provider shouted from the back “I’m the one who said we’re closed.” I also work in healthcare and this is NOT what healthCARE should look like. Now I’ll have to wait until Wednesday when I’m off. Five minutes?! I’m glad that I didn’t send the donation that I intended to. My money will be better in someone else’s hands!

My first time here and it was a pleasant experience. I didn’t know that they offer so many services for free! Front desk was kind, the nurse that assisted me was knowledgeable, and I felt well taken care of. Best part is, I was in and out. Great job ladies!

My 1st appointment was at the Joseph E. Boone location and then I transferred to the Stone mountain location. I had some hesitancy initially because I had several unprofessional phone encounters prior to coming out for the 1st time. It took me several months before I actually went because I was honestly looking for alternatives (even if I had to pay out of pocket) due to the lack of phone etiquette the rep(s) displayed. However, when I finally did go out I was glad I did. It was obvious they had new people because everyone from front desk to the doctor was overall professional. After my initial appointment I transferred to the new Stone mountain location and they are PHENEMONAL! The young lady that works the desk to Ms. Avery the P.A. Theyre always warm, welcoming, and professional. They offer several much needed services from pap smears, to job/resume assistance. I took advantage of the pap smear /breast exam and Im glad I did! I have nothing bad to say. Atlanta Harm Reduction literally lives up to its name. Im proud of the city for offering this much needed stability to its residents.

Amazing group of volunteers and kind people. They helped a friend of mine, get prep to protect him, and literally save his life when no one else would follow through. That friend is the best person I know and the hardest worker and the kindest soul so yes, what they do matters greatly. I am meeting with one of the people of the organization this Thursday to see how I can help. I do wish they would mail my friends prep to him up in Norcross because he has no car and cannot drive 45 minutes to get it unless somebody can take him plus he has to takeoff work to do it. Can someone please please do that for him?

I have volunteered with this group of wonderful people that work as a team to provide the service that the community is desperately in need of. Ive learned from them all and now Im ready and willing to step up to the challenges we face in the fight to bring our community to better healthier long lives. I absolutely adore Miss Anna and the prevention team. Miss. Jasmine is an amazing manager that keeps things going and make things happen the entire staff of this organization is a caring and humble group of caregivers Im looking forward to being on this team of winners and may God continue to bless and keep them all safe as they do the work that they love doing and have a passion for

Awesome staff! Great programs available to the public. They have their hands in so many different programs for anyone regardless of financial status. They just added on M.A.T. which is Medication Assisted Treatment for opiate users. Atlanta Harm Reduction will help you get sober on Suboxone if you need it, all at no cost! They also have a program to receive medication to cure HCV. They also provide medication for those at high risk of getting HIV. The medication blocks the virus. A lot of good is coming from this small clinic !!

Got in town today and came across then on the web. I saw they had some sort of shindig going on today so I decided Id go on over and check them out. Called ahead as the hours I their site showed it would winde down half am hour before I got there. Asked if they were totally set on they time and let them know how far away I was, they said keep right on coming. Everyone there were very nice, they made sure to load me down with sufficient supplies to keep a party of 10 supplied for the day with everything theyll need. All your party guests will have to do is bring their flavor of choice. The Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition has been taken the worries out of planning your party by bringing all these supplies together in one place for all your convenience. Just get your favorite flavor(or tell your friends top bring theirs) and bring home the party pack size consistent with the plans you and/or youre friends have, and everything is done. These Atlanta Gals have been helping with area residents party supply need a for over two decades and from what I saw today I couldnt expect any better. Im glad I was able to visit sigh a lovely and well run place and hope their continue without problem!

This location is misdiagnosing young women. They need to be investigated. I don’t know if they are being PAID determined by how many women they “treat”, or if they just mix up paperwork, they are NOT official.

This facility has a great has a great network of services like helping people get birth certificates, Ga identification, Substance Abuse treatment, food for the elders, and array of others services too. They do HIV, HVC, Sexual transmitted Diseases, and a whole lot of testing. They exchange needles and have groups that train people about problems with in their neighborhoods. These are few of missions they do and I know there are a lot more, just call them.

The work they do here is something sorely needed for more of the Atlanta area. They offer free vaccines and are of a great help to the Atlanta community and those who are homeless.

The services this organization provides do probably the most to touch the lives of those who are working poor / whatever remains of the middle class in ATL. They do work to enfranchise the disenfranchised as far as voting and other civic forms of engagement, provide low to no-cost life-saving naxalone to help revere opiod overdoses, connect addicts to treatment resources and common sense harm reduction strategies, offer support groups and the list goes on. They nearly serve as the single force that holds the most vulnerable citizens of ATL back from the brink. Incredible and friendly selfless staff too!
