I used to love the practice, they were efficient and I was a patient for years!. After the take over, they cancel my prescriptions, and there is no way to make an appointment without waiting 1 hr or more on the phone. They offered an appointment that was not working for me and told that if I refused that appointment my only choice was to schedule next year six months later!!!! I said, no thank you I would find another practice.

Dr. Karen Kish is amazing! She is very personable and down to Earth making what could be an uncomfortable experience an enjoyable one. She is intelligent and provides excellent care to her patients. I would recommend her to any woman looking for OB/gyenocology services.

Wow, I am (was) a patient at this practice. Despite never receiving a reminder to schedule my annual exam, I called to take care of scheduling approximately one month before it was due. However, they couldnt get me in for over SIX months for what is supposed to be an annual exam and check-up (and I have a history of irregularities). This is not a standard of care that I am comfortable with - surprising they are OK with this.

Impressed by my practitioner’s depth of pharmacological knowledge and attention to detail. She was the first to mention the potential negative interaction between two of my daily medications! (I’ve been taking them together for over a year and neither my pharmacists or cardiologist or GM have mentioned it before.)In addition, her thoroughness in reviewing and discussing the importance of keeping up to date on diagnostic tests was both comprehensive and encouraging.

I almost never post bad reviews, but I have never left a healthcare provider so upset.I had arrived 10 mins early for my appt, but google maps brings you to the building next door. I walked around for 10-15 mins trying to find the office while calling multiple times to try and get in-touch with the office for directions and to let them know I was running late.I walked into the office 5 MINUTES late, and explained the situation. There was no leniency. I had explained that I had waited 3 weeks for a very serious health appt, took off of work for the morning, and driven 25 mins to get to my appt. There was absolutely no sympathy. I was told that they asked my provider, Karen Kish, and she simply said no. A patient behind me waiting also muttered that is ridiculous. If they had answered the phone, I would have been there before my appt time. I now have to rebook with a different provider, even though waiting is detrimental to my health.They offered me appts at different times and dates, but I had to leave for work and I will never be booking with them again. It is such a shame, I was referred by two friends, and I told them of the situation and they were shocked. The lack of empathy for patients is astonishing.

I was greeted upon entry. I was a new patient so it was nice that Id had the opportunity to complete paperwork online and that theyd received the previous docs records. I was taken back with little waiting. The medical team was courteous and knowledgeable. Dr A was patient, putting me at ease. Gentle with exam. Answered all my questions and didnt hurry out of the room due to overlooking patients. I recommend her unless you just like 5-10 medical appointments.

Very friendly. On the spot with any information you needed. Calm and peaceful setting. Love Dr. Lanzo. And the lady that does the mammograms is awesome. She is very patient, kind, and makes you very comfortable. All this is very important to women. And you dont find this very often anymore. Thanks to the whole staff.

The doctor, Mary Brown, was fantastic. I would love to continue seeing her. The people responsible for scheduling are not fantastic. They had my insurance information six weeks in advance, as that was the earliest appointment I could get from the day I called. But they decided to not tell me until the day I arrived that my visit might not be covered. Even as I write this, I don’t know if my insurance is going to come after me or not. I don’t think I heard the word “sorry” at all while I was dealing with them that day.

Office is very clean and staff are friendly however I booked with a NP and she had an assistant with her who seemed to be newer. I wasn’t told this when i booked the appt. She got the device they use to do the pap stuck and couldn’t remove it. I don’t believe it was her fault and they said it was likely a malfunctioning device, however, it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. And I would think they wouldn’t keep malfunctioning devices around. A little bit traumatic and I likely wouldn’t book with the NP next time.

Very good experience with Dr. Anna Lozano at Ascension Medical Group Seton Women’s Medical Group Westlake. She was very personal, friendly, and professional. Dr. Lozano took the time to listen to my issues, and, after examination, discussed the possible diagnosis and treatment recommended. When I called her office to discuss an issue I was experiencing at the hospital, she called the hospital immediately to have procedures completed at her request. Dr. Lozano returned my calls the next day in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Lozano as well as Dr. Shannon Abikhaled at this Westlake location. They are an awesome group of doctors.

Mary Brown at Ascention is wonderful and caring. She takes pride in her work and genuinly cares about her patients. The Westlake facility is warm and inviting in addition to having a friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Love everything about this place, including the atmosphere. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Stacy was great doing my mammogram and Dr. Kish has been my OB for years, which included 2 pregnancies. The whole team is great!

The healthcare professionals are excellent, but the changes implemented by Ascension Seton have made it impossible to do anything - you cant reach anyone by phone, cant email, cant text, and if you cant get into your patient portal (such as if the patient is a minor), youre sunk. For anyone who decides to stay with them - good luck!

Mary Brown is always incredibly helpful and a great communicator when discussing my health especially sensitive issues. She also is in great about responding to my messages in the portal and whenever needed seeing me as quickly as possible.

My experience with Ascension Medical Womens Group has been excellent. The nurse practitioner and to ultrasound specialist each one went over and above their scheduled appointments to take care of my health needs and do everything necessary to make sure I am taken care of. I never had great experiences here even before they were taken over by Seton but they were fine, but now that they have been, I stopped going here. After being bought by Seton my doctor had to tell me that Seton does not condone birth control - WHILE Im at my appointment for IUD insertion - and that she was doing it of her own medical accord. I definitely cant recommend or continue to go to a gynecologist that doesnt even support birth control, much less any other issues that might come up.

Im a new patient, and I wont be back. Receptionists I dealt with were not friendly or helpful. I was told for my 1st appointment that if I arrive 5 mins late, my app will be canceled. I arrived on time & I left waiting 30+ minutes. My 2nd appointment I arrived 30 mins early and I was left waiting 1 hour. I was told I was checked in when I arrived, and then the receptionist asked me 20 mins later if I had an appointment. I understand places can be busy & things happen, but it becomes a joke when its a reoccurring issue and nothing is done to fix it or at least be polite/helpful about it.

Ive been a patient f Dr Lozano for a number of years. I have found her to be extremely friendly and empathetic, as well as thorough in her care. She is also an accomplished surgeon, as I learned when she performed a hysterectomy on me, with no problems or complications. I highly recommend this Dr and her staff.

I had to wait for almost an hour after my scheduled appointment, but the facilities were really nice, as were the staff. I like to know that extra precautions are taken to make spaces safe during this time so I understand the extra wait time. Dr. Lozano was wonderful. Very personable and easy to talk with. I felt very at ease and heard. I would 100% recommend her to friends and family.

Very bad experience at this hospital this evening. I was running 7mins late to the appt. So I called the front desk to check if that’s okay, they verified my information and confirmed that’s not a problem. After a 1 hour drive (waited 4months for this appt.) , the receptionist told me that I had to reschedule and they have a strict late policy for a first time patients. This is insane.I wish they told this earlier on the call that I made to inform them that I was running late that would have saved a 2 hour drive to and fro.

I don’t normally review places, but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. It’s always hard to find a good gynecologist that you feel comfortable with (at least in my experience), and the staff here was incredibly friendly. Ashley Rowan was a great listener and incredibly mindful of past traumas as well as very determined to get a holistic perspective on my issues. Everyone including the nurse and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and I will definitely be coming back!

This was my second annual well womens appointment and was very satisfied with Mary Brown. She took the time to listen to my concerns and was very gentle with her examination of me. Gave me an education of women my age that I should be concerned about and also paid attention to my family history of cancer. She showed genuine concern regarding my health and offer recommendations. Mary Brown was also concerned on making sure I had all my other exams taken care of. The staff was also very professional and pleasant and gave me the necessary paperwork to get my mammogram and bone density test done. I look forward to my next appointment, knowing that Westlake Gynecology cares!!!!

I’ve had no issues with this provider for the last four years, and even still the providers themselves are great!Since Ascension took over, it’s been terrible.I have received numerous calls, emails, texts and letters requesting I schedule my appointment. However, when I call, no one answers. The automated system says appointment scheduling is unavailable, which I understand but why bombard me with a mass communication on literally every form of communication if I’m unable to do what you ask?There is no way to schedule via phone, text, portal, online, nothing.I get that there are growing pains, but if you can’t schedule right now, please stop asking me to do so myself when you know I will be unable to. It’s just become a nuisance at this point.

Dr. Anna Lozano has been my Gynecologist for many years. She is an excellent Gynecologist with awesome patient communication. She is very kind and thorough and takes time to listen to questions and concerned. You will never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lozano, the other doctors, PAs, Nurse Practitioners, medical assistants and office staff at Westlake Gynecology. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Dr. Lozano is excellent! She addressed an issue I had concerns about and I feel great now. She is very caring, personable, and exceptional. Also very pleased with the entire staff. I have finally found the all around perfect GYN practice!

First time appointment today with Dr. Lozano and I was very pleased. The office location is convenient, very clean, and the staff was very professional. They texted a link for me to complete first time patient forms and check-in prior to the appointment, which was super easy to do from my phone (took 5 minutes), so no paperwork when I arrived, just informed front desk staff of my arrival, sat down and was seen right on time. Dr. Lozano was fantastic, took the time to listen to my whole history and addressed all my concerns. By the time I left the office labs were orders and prescriptions had all been ordered. Highly recommend Dr. Lozano, very pleased with my experience today

Dr Lozano has been my Dr. for several years. I always recommend her to family and friends. Westlake Gynecology has a very friendly front desk & MA’s and I have never been dissatisfied with any of my visits. The office, rooms and waiting area is always very clean. Highly recommend.

Definitely one of the top practitioners I have ever been to. Mary Brown the NP is AMAZING! Never a long wait. Mary is so compassionate and thorough. She truly cares about her patients and gains your trust immediately. After 2 minutes it was obvious Mary is an expert in her practice. I felt very comfortable and knew I was in good hands within the first 5 minutes. The office is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I am cash pay and their prices are far better than the larger multi-office practices that are in the Austin area. You don’t feel like another number you feel like a person. Dr. Lozano’s staff is professional, thorough, and friendly. I love Dr. Lozano’s easy manner and all the options she presents for treatment. I used to see Dr. Stephanie Kodack for years, a partner of Dr. Lozano’s until she retired. I’m extremely happy that Dr. Lozano is such an excellent successor.

Dr. Kish was amazing!! I hate going to the doctor and I recently moved to Austin so everything has been new here for me. She too the time to listen to me and get to know me personally. It was also the quickest doctors appointment Ive ever had! I was in and out within 20ish minutes. The office itself is so beautiful and clean and the staff are great! Highly recommend!

Dr. Lozano is so personable and comforting. I highly recommend Westlake Gynecology. Anything from a wellness checkup or something more serious she really takes the time to make sure you’re getting treated the very best. Any doctors experience can be somewhat stressful but going somewhere were you know is reliable can make the experience a lot easier.

Dr. Abikhaled is awesome!!! She’s very thorough during the visit and has great bed side manner with patients. She listens to any concerns you may have and answers questions thoroughly as well. I’ve been going to her for 5 years since I moved here and I can’t imagine going to someone else. She is great.

Mary Brown is the BEST! I’ve had 2 IUD insertions over the last 5 years that I’ve been a patient, and they’ve been practically painless with laughing gas. The office is really great, the only small issue that I’ve run into is that they don’t always answer the phone.

I absolutely LOVE Dr Abikahled. I had a very long term issue that no other MD cared to take a closer look at. They just wanted to throw pills. Dr A found my problem right away by just ordering one simple scan! Wonderful bedside manner and always laughs at my jokes!! 🤣I travel across town just to see her. Totally worth it. Staff in office has always been nice and professional. Office is always super clean. If you are searching for a new GYN, see her if you can!

Although a few years had elapsed since my last well visit and I was reluctant to get back into the routine, my appointment with Dr. Lozano was an easy experience from start to finish. The office is pleasant and all the staff I met were kind and helpful. The iPad check-in was definitely an upgrade from the actual paperwork of years past! Dr. Lozano was particularly knowledgeable and helpful in listening to my concerns and giving answers. Feeling well cared-for!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Im utterly disappointed.Dr. Lozano was the most unprofessional and rude doctor. She was referred to for an examination for a procedure needed. Upon coming into the room, she didnt greet her patient. She spoke in the most disgustingly rude tone. We will definitely take our money elsewhere and find someone much more polite, understanding, pleasant, and eager to help.I cant imagine how many other patients have had to deal with this type of negligence.

I have had the pleasure of Dr Lozano being my OBGYN for approximately 17 years. I have remained with her through all of my relocations and hers. She is very caring, patient and gives care you want and need that makes going to the doctor, comfortable. It is like going to visit with a a great friend when I have an appointment. I refer her to all my girlfriends and family.

I found Womens Texas Health for some issues my Mother was having. After visiting their facility, I decided that I would start going there as well. The entire staff is comprised of Women, which I love, as they understand a womens anatomy and they are kind and gentle!The PA, Mary, is the most wonderful person and I loved getting to know her and I feel extremely comfortable there and especially for my aging mother. This is a wonderful place for women and I will continue to see them for any and all health issues!

Just went and saw Ellen Jatinen at Westlake Gynecology and loved her and the practice. I have been meaning to switch from my ob for a while and wanted a Dr. that was more geared towards womens health after kids and not so much the baby stage. I was referred to Ellen from a friend and am so happy to have found her. The office is beautifully designed and very comfortable. I have all great things to say!

Dr. Lozano is an excellent professional.However, I find the consultation too rushed ----it takes less than 15 minutes, once the doctor actually enters the room. We have barely the time to speak and ask her any questions.Also, I did not get any papers at the reception to do the mammo or bone density test. We agreed that I would do them, but I dont know where to go. Dont I need to take these papers there?? They did not even tell me that my prescription would be at the pharmacy of my choice.It took MUCH longer for me to fill out their I-pad questionnaire than the actual visit with the doctor.

Love these womens health providers! Ive been seeing this group for over a decade, mostly at their Seton location, but Ive followed them to their Westlake location now that they no longer do obstetrics. Attentive and compassionate care. I specifically have seen Dr Abikhaled, Dr Kish, and their fantastic PA Ashley Rowan. All fabulous. Highly recommend!

If I could give them six stars, I would. Dr. Brown and her team are the best there is. I was hard-pressed to find a clinic that considers the pain a woman goes through during an IUD placement. I had a terrifying experience in the past, but Dr. Brown made sure the experience was relaxing (if you can believe it!) Response times for virtual correspondence are lightning-fast, and Dr. Brown even sent me a personalized letter to welcome me to the practice. THIS is what the future of womens healthcare looks like.

Just switched to this place after having a not amazing gyno experience and DANG yall, seriously, this place is the best. This place is a place that all women should go. Theyre attentive, kind, understanding and just all around wonderful. If you have a problem, theyve got an idea of something you can try to help it. I actually look forward to coming in. And the actual office itself smells nice, and is so clean, they even have nice sheets for you to put over your legs. Top notch. Im so glad my aunt referred me to them!! Amazing!!

West lake Gynecologist is such a nice place to visit for my annual exam. Timely , polite, caring. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. So glad I found them!

I really liked Ellen Jatinen, she is very helpful and has great bedside manner. The one star is for Dr. Anna Lozano. She was very dismissive and uninterested in want I was telling her. She seemed annoyed and was extremely rough with her examination. Would not recommend.

Dr. Brown is AMAZING!!! Ive lived in a lot of places and I have never met a Dr. like Dr. Brown who cares about her patients as much as she does and actually wants to know how you are doing! She takes the time to answer questions you ask and gives recommendations! Highly recommend!

Tammy Hunt, Certified Laser Technician/Aesthetician at Westlake GynecologyTammy is the best. Recently, she treated brown age spots on my face/neck/hands and some small facial capillaries and a pesky (superficial) leg vein. She achieved my desired results after just one treatment. She was able to accomplish what the PA at the dermatologists office couldnt do after 3 visits. She simply has the magic touch. For me that was a difference of about $600. Not to mention, Tammy has great seasonal coupons, if youre on her mailing list. You have to schedule with her by calling Westlake Gyn. Dont waste time anywhere else.

Anna Lozano MD is a caring and professional healthcare provider for women. She actually listens and addresses all of her patients concerns. Her staff is courteous and professional.

Cant make an appointment. Called several times and no answer, also when I finally got a callback, the lady left me on hold for 10mins and then hang up on me. Dont recommend it for new patients.

Be careful if youre looking for secular care. This practice used to be great but was bought out by Ascension, a Catholic health ministry that limits or eliminates birth control options at the practices they own.

All COVID-19 protection protocols are being followed and I felt perfectly safe for my visit. The doctor was on time, the room was warm, and the experience was about the best one could want!

Mary the NP is wonderful. I find the problem I have is with the staff. Getting someone to answer the phone. Getting someone to help you is very difficult. I called them Friday and still have not heard back from them. Getting rescheduled after Bee Caves was shut down was impossible. Ive been having trying to get rescheduled since September of last year.I was sooo disappointed and expected so much more after my Dr retired and recommended these guys. Now Im having difficulties getting my records. Been trying to get them for a week. Ugh.....

I have known Dr Abikhaled for years and I look forward to seeing her - if only once a year. I always have her undivided sincere attention. So fabulous!Additionally her team is wonderful!

I went to see Dr. Shannon Abikhaled for a women’s health check last year, and she’s great. It’s so sweet that they sent me a reminder for the yearly health check one year after, but sadly I relocated to another state. So I came here to leave a comment. Thank Dr. Abihaled for her professionalism, and I really enjoyed the conversation we had. :)

Their billing department coded my appointment incorrectly and stuck me with a labs bill. When I called them they gave me attitude, told me the appointment was correctly coded and that I owed for those labs. After I paid the nearly $200 bill they then called me a few days later to admit they were wrong. Needless to say, I will no longer be using their services.

Dr. Shannon saw my skittish 14 year old daughter and made her feel completely at ease. What a relief to have such an empathetic doctor in my Rolodex. Thank you!

I have been with Dr. Abikhaled for 22 years and couldnt imagine being with anyone else. She is thorough, kind, wise, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable in her field of expertise.

The doctors here are pretty good, however, the staffs are pretty bad. You will be left on your own to figure out if you have to do any blood work or any analysis. They won’t give you information or even if they did give you information, it will be outdated information. This will cost you your time and energy.

This was quick follow up to check how I was doing after a procedure a few months ago. Caring, thorough, efficient. Can’t ask for more. The facility is clean as always and they have implemented COVID-19 processes seamlessly.

Dr. Lozano is an outstanding doctor! I actually look forward to seeing her every year.
