Tree of Life Acupuncture Fertility

I received exceptional care at Tree of Life Acupuncture and cannot recommend this clinic enough. Jack demonstrated remarkable expertise and genuine concern for my well-being. He constantly offered encouragement and peace of mind, which was extremely helpful for someone going through infertility. After each visit, I left the clinic feeling reassured and at ease. We now have a 5 month old via IVF and I truly cannot be more grateful to Jack for the treatment, care and knowledge I received.

We have two lovely kids now and Im sure my treatment here played an important role. Dr. Jack Handlin is very knowledgeable. In addition to acupuncture he suggested questions I might want to ask my Drs that ultimately resulted in me getting much better fertility care overall. Infertility was a really long, difficult process. From my very first appointment is was clear that Dr. Handlin is excellent at what he does. I saw him weekly for fertility acupuncture for six months. He was always honest and encouraging. I am really excited to say we are finally expecting a baby! I really appreciate all of his help along the way!

I would absolutely recommend going here for acupuncture treatment! Jack is wonderful and very knowledgeable! I did treatment before and during my pregnancy and found it very beneficial. I went through IVF treatment and Jack was able to really help me understand the process and each step along the way. Acupuncture is great and I feel it really helped with my successful pregnancy. I will definitely be going back!

Im currently in my second trimester and so happy I chose Dr. Handlin to be part of my care team. I know I was a tough case, but he was always supportive and provided me with insight and wisdom at each visit on top of the tailored acupuncture care. He always checked in and made sure all my questions were answered. He cares about you as a whole patient, and as we know, going through infertility isnt just about the physical. Everything about this facility and Jack is amazing. I went here first for help with trying to have a baby because it had been so long and nothing was happening. He helped me pinpoint some issues in my cycle and also some tips and tricks of what else to try. I went for 18 months, half of that trying to conceive and then the other half maintaining my pregnancy. I was almost sad to have had my baby, because it meant I didn’t get my weekly visits anymore! Jack is an amazing person, gives great advice and was just someone I looked forward to talking to every week about updates and just life in general. He has a gift of putting things into a different perspective and gave me a lot of advice and metaphors about things, some of those I still have in notes in my phone! It was so relaxing every week to just lay and be able to silently reflect on the week and things going on. He responded to emails so quickly and I never felt like an inconvenience going in to see him. He made me feel heard and valued, and I’m so grateful I was referred to him. Definitely will be back for another kid and look forward to that point! Thank you Jack for helping achieve my baby girl!

I reached out to Dr Jack towards the end of my second trimester for support for a healthy delivery. I continued to be his patient throughout my remaining pregnancy journey and I truly believe he had a big role to play in my smooth pregnancy journey. He administered the acupuncture depending on which week I was on to ensure I did not have unbearable pains. I am thankful for his attitude and patience to hear out my concerns and provide guidance in a calm and efficient manner.

My journey has been a long one, but with the right professionals I was able to walk it more easily. Dr Jack was one of the professionals who helped us to succeed in growing our family. Not only were the acupuncture sessions beneficial to the fertility treatment, but the conversations and advice were a plus throughout everything. Dr Jack is a professional knowledgeable in Chinese medicine, I can only thank you for all the help I received from the most difficult times to receiving my baby in my arms!

I went to see Dr. Handlin after working with a fertility clinic but still experienced losses. The clinic was seemingly out of fresh ideas to alter my cycle plan, aside from escalating from IUI to IVF, but we wanted to continue with IUI. Knowing that doing the same thing would likely end in the same result, I decided to start acupuncture here. I had never done acupuncture before, and honestly wasnt sure I believed it would be effective. However, before I even started attending appointments, Dr. Handlin was incredibly responsive and gave me a number of recommendations and ideas to adjust my cycle plan to try and work for a successful outcome. My uterine lining was always the issue, and even with medications and interventions from the fertility clinic I could never get my lining over 6 mm. I started acupuncture two months before the next IUI cycle we had planned, and with no other changes aside from acupuncture, my thickness that month was over 8 mm! I couldnt believe it. Up until I went into labor I saw Dr. Handline regularly for appointments to help with the pregnancy. I plan to continue after as well; but just welcomed twins at 36 weeks, no NICU time which I really attribute to his work and guidance to make sure they were big and healthy even if premature. He always offers great resources and insight (he always asks for permission to share these!) which has helped me tremendously in this pregnancy. I am certain that without these treatments we wouldnt have these two little ones joining us next month, and feel so fortunate to work with Dr. Handlin to get to this point!

Dr. Jack has for providing support and seed for our family to grow. Hes a miracle worker! We really appreciate his service and created double miracle! We end up having twins! I enjoy coming to talk to him about my concerns and he always give me honest feedback but not too harsh. He always makes sure Im comfortable. I feel relaxed and sometimes rejuvenated after the session. I never did acupuncture before and its not that painful as I thought. He made the session easy and he helped me trust the process, trust everything will work out, and believing that we are making progress when I dont feel like it sometimes. Its an emotional roller coaster and he made the ups and down less bumpy. I really enjoy coming to see him in the past 1.5 years. I highly recommend him to help your family grow in a natural way and see the miracle happens!

I never post reviews, but it was important to me to review Jacks business.I came to him after several years of fertility issues. In addition to the great acupuncture service, he also provided counseling, advice, sympathy, and brainstormed new ideas with me. He gave me opinions based on his years of working in this industry, which helped me to find the right doctor to treat some of my underlying issues that was causing me to not get pregnant. He treats the whole patient, not just the body.I fully credit Jack for being able to get pregnant twice after multiple failed implants and a miscarriage. He was the rock that helped to stabilize me during a very tough time.

Ive been Dr. Handlins patient for almost 4.5 years. I visited him in 2018 for the first time after having 2 consecutive miscarriages (I had my first one without any problems). He listened to me carefully and assured me that accupunture does help, and it indeed did. My TSH was slightly high but still under 4. Accupuncture helped keeping it at bay which is below 2.5. Even after having my baby in 2019, I kept visited him for general wellness once a month. I conceived again in 2021 and had my 3rd one recently. Im really happy with the results . Im really thankful to him. Hes very supportive, listens to your concerns carefully and asnwers them, and has an excellent bedside manner. Highly recommend.

Dr Jack helped us achieve almost impossible dream to expand our family. He is genuinely a true healer. We unsuccessfully tried IVF, IUI and every possible medical treatments available for two years. On a random internet search I came across an article on how acupuncture helped a celebrity singer get pregnant when standard treatments failed. I frankly was skeptical but since everything had failed we decided to try something that was otherwise harmless plus our insurance covered the treatment. After first consultation he explained in detail how acupuncture can help me in the process to conceive, he gave me a timeframe within which he was very hopeful I will get the results. He was spot on! I had my IVF scheduled in June and found out I was naturally pregnant in May on Mother’s Day at age 39! Our beautiful daughter is now 6 months old. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for genuine healer full of positive vibes.

Dr Jack is a wonderful doctor. He made me laugh and feel relaxed. He was very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions. My HCG levels were above 100 meaning there was no doubt I was pregnant. In the past with my other acupuncturist, my HCG levels were below 25. I am so thankful I gave him a try. My beautiful daughter is now 5 months.

Working with Dr. Handlin for a year while trying to get pregnant was one of the best decisions I made. As someone who struggled with infertility, I was constantly seeking help, advice, support and guidance from doctors, friends, family and other professionals who could help in anyway. Dr. Handlin is more than an acupuncturist, he is a knowledgeable, helpful, insightful, kind, heartfelt, caring human who has a lot of wisdom to share with anyone trying to get pregnant. If you are struggling with infertility and are looking into hiring a fertility coach and acupuncturist, I suggest you skip the fertility coach and just see Dr. Handlin for fertility acupuncture and all of his guidance and advice is included. During each visit he provided me with amazing guidance, counseled me through a lot of happy and sad tears and took a lot of time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He also always made himself available via email for any questions I had at anytime. Dr. Handlin is not only a very talented acupuncturist but his empathy and understanding for the physical and emotional toll infertility takes on you is unmatched. I will always be grateful for the large role he played in helping me through my infertility experience and can’t recommend him enough.

I credit Dr. Handlin with helping us build our family. After several IUI and three IVF attempts we were looking into donor eggs when I decided to take a break, do acupuncture and give my body a rest. Once i started at Tree of Life, I was pregnant the following month (and this was just a couple months after my final IVF fail). Fast forward a few years, after trying naturally for a second child for over two years, I went back to Tree of Life and after less than three months of weekly visits I was once again pregnant, and had my son just a week before my 44th birthday. He has been a true miracle for our family. Four years have passed and we continue to be very grateful.

I wrote this review a couple of months ago only to find that I hadnt posted it! And it was perhaps for the best. I still believe that everything I said below stands true. However, I have had some horrible billing issues with this office that could only get partially resolved. So I am very unhappy with the unprofessional way in which I was over-charged and billed and not even given an apology after the provider/billing service found out it was their fault. Any way, if you dont anticipate insurance issues for these services, I do recommend this place and go ahead and read the review below:Dr. Handlin is awesome! He is very knowledgeable about fertility and provides honest and astute advice. I went to him in August 2020 as a healthy woman with advanced age and he was patient and supportive. He suggested only limited amount of fertility tests for initial assessment and only suggested- its up to you if you want to get these tests done or not. Dr. Handlin treats you with acupuncture irrespective of your decision and also prescribes the recommended vitamins to boost outcomes.And I can say that I 100% believe that it was his acupuncture and prescribed mix of health boosting medicines that made me conceive naturally within just 3 months of starting sessions! I understand that I didnt have any underlying fertility issues and had had 2 children in the past without any problems and had good AMH levels. Yet, we had been trying for a year with no success and so it must have been the acupuncture combined with the medicines Dr. Handlin prescribed and his advice to exercise, which I took very seriously, that did the trick.Anyway, I continued with Dr. Handlin even after testing positive for pregnancy until very recently and am just on a couple of months hiatus for insurance reasons. I plan to be back very soon in his office for ongoing pregnancy support for my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Thank you Dr. Handlin!

Dr. Handlin was amazing! My husband and I tried for over 18 months before seeing him and within 4 months we were pregnant. I honestly believe that without him we would have been trying for much longer.Not only was he very knowledgeable but he took the time to explain, give support, and listen. Jack is great at what he does!Also, the new location is technically on the second floor, but its level 1, so you need to push 1 in the elevator.
