From the ultrasound tech, to the nurse and doctors that helped me get through today, they were WONDERFUL. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs service here. I can’t say enough about their compassion. Thank you very much for taking good care of me as promised.

The front staff were extremely sweet and kind. the back staff was very knowledgeable and comforting. the Dr was an absolute master at making me comfortable

I brought my sister here for an abortion, which she was very nervous and against going into the office when we got there, and the staff was amazing. It’s a secured facility so they don’t allow just anyone to come in without photo ID. Everyone from the front staff to the ultrasound assistants to the doctors were friendly and made a tough decision a little easier for my sister. Would definitely recommend this place to any woman that isn’t looking to be judged and a friendly environment.

I had a horrible experience with PP in Allentown. Had my appt delayed two weeks, went, paid and was told I was too advanced for something. I was refunded, but with direction to drive several hours to another location in Essex County NJ. Instead I called AWC and they immediately had me come over to their facility. I was overly worried about everything, the MDs and nurses (and other staff) made everything so easy- including the financial aspect. The most nerve wracking part is the actual procedure, while painful, the doctors and nurse make you feel so comfortable. They tell you what they’re doing every time something happens. The main MD held my hand the entire time and I couldn’t be more grateful. They made a horrible day much better, regardless of the situation , with their compassion.

When ordering the bloodwork they were very helpful and fast in getting it out. With hours of calling they sent me the script, and after a misunderstanding with my hospital, they sent the script to them with hours of calling. The appointment was friendly and helpfull. I would recommend very highly for gaht.

Im very happy with the care ive received here over the past three years. the staff is super attentive and helpful. ive mostly been in contact with yesenia, rn, as a trans patient receiving gender-affirming services, and shes always so helpful and quick to address any concerns. dr. roizin is great, as well; very knowledgable in his field and respectful towards his patients.

I always have a great experience here they keep everything secret, the doctor is really cool, the girls who work there are really supportive and that means a lot to me. Over all great service 😌

Walking into the office was very pleasant. The security in this facility is great. ID check for everyone. Which make you feel safe. The staff here is very helpful and supportive. They provide multiple services. If your looking for a place that judgement free! Here is the place to go.

10/10 experience by far! From the doctors to the ultrasound techs all the way to the nurse in recovery, everyone was very welcoming and understanding. They made a very difficult time in my life just a little more easier and supported me through my entire visit. I am very thankful that I found this place, especially the doctor there because he was the best!

Staff is AMAZING here!Planned parenthood had everything wrong. Told me blood type was b negative so they can give me a shot- which I didn’t need especially because I am B+ blood type.And the doctor is so down to earth and cool. Very easy to talk to. The nurses are a godsend!

The way the staff supported me before, during, and after my procedure was really comforting and breathe taking. This was a very difficult thing for me to do and I will never forget how safe everybody that worked with me made me feel. Thank you. ❤️

I was very comfortable in this clinic, it was very relaxing and knowing I wasn’t the only woman going through this made me even more comfortable. I thought i would be the only one and was scared. All of the staff was so sweet, my nurse jess in the recovery room was very attentive to my needs and how i was feeling. It made me feel safe that you had to get buzzed in and show your ID in order to enter the facility. Thank you awc!

Wow. I cant praise this clinic enough. First thing I noticed was that the safety was top notch. You have to be on the schedule, buzzed in and show ID even if you are accompanying the patient. The staff was polite, compassionate and friendly. That nurse though,(hate that I forgot her name) she was absolutely amazing! Both doctors I saw were great too. Very thorough with the information, plan of action and resources given to me.I recommend everyone to this clinic. The 2.5 hour drive was worth it.Thank you AWC.

It was a great place to get help for what I needed during a really hard time.The staff are so nice and easy going yet informative. During the procedure everyone is so understanding and supportive. Afterwards the nurse was really nice to speak to with questions or concerns. My follow up was simple and it gave me peace of mind.I just got accepted to school at the time and I felt my future shattering, I’m really thankful for this place.

As a health care worker myself I had Pleasant experience with staff.. great safe space for woman and the recovery nurse Jess was very supportive ..very attentive to my emotional and physical needs and kind hearted ..more kind than any nurse ive met specializing in any other field

I can truly say this place was amazing. I was already nervous about the process but from start to finish everyone made me feel very comfortable. I was already experiencing cramping before coming in and the wait time wasn’t long at all. The counselor I spoke with was so warm and friendly and set my nerves at ease fairly quickly and answered all my questions before I even needed to ask them. When it was my time the nursing staff was so sweet and informative. Both doctors came to talk to me and let me know what was going to happen and their bedside manner was great. Even during the procedure they were letting me know what was going on before hand and making the process as easy as possibe. After I was done I was very emotional due to the pain I was experiencing and one of the nurses comforted me and made me feel much better. Thank you so much to the team here you all are amazing and great at what you do. Thank you for being there for people who already have a hard choice to make. Can definitely say they are the perfect balance of professional and caring.

I would just like to say, I am thankful I came here for my procedure. The whole team was very kind. Very professional and very caring. The whole time I was there, I received nothing but compassion and understanding. They gave me explanations, that was easy to understand and I love that they had conversations with me to make me comfortable during the procedure. Hands down, the best facility I have ever been to. I wrote a review after my first visit and from then till now, they have been fantastic. The staff are kind and helpful the doctors and nurses understanding and attentive to the patients needs. I would recommend them to any women and especially to those seeking transgender services. I’m so glad that I made my first appointment with them so long ago, this is the caring, supportive and intimate medical experience I needed for this most important time in my life. I want to thank them for everything.

I have never been treated better in a medical care facility before. My experience at allentown womens center was truly so comforting... even while I was experiencing so many terrible emotions. My counselor, Kristin, was the SWEETEST, most COMFORTING human Ive ever met. She truly made me laugh, related to me and made me feel comfortable. The doctors in the facility are personable and kind. The nursing staff always has the patients care in mind first. Thank you for making my experience so much better than I expected.

I was terrified going here for my procedure but they assured me they were not only there for me but they’d make it as painless as possible. The nurse assistant held my arm the entire time and made it so comforting. When I went in the recovery room the nurses were amazing and we talked about random stuff the entire time. Pain was 2/10. GREAT EXPERIENCE 💕

I am so thankful that AWC was the clinic I chose for this process. Yulie was my first point of contact and truly a gem!! I was so anxious but she walked me through everything with such a sweet, caring manner.When it was time for my appointment everything was fairly quick! My wait time also wasn’t long at all being there first at 9:15 am. Front desk was super sweet when I came in. Then the medical assistant who did the ultrasound was another gem!! she was so chill & kept me engaged in convo even though i was nervous. My favorite person of all was my counselor Kristin. What a warm and loving person that truly cares about patients! She not only thoroughly explained the process of the abortion pill, but also was comforting & empathetic. The staff makes you feel like you’re talking to a friend you’ve known for yearsStaff that are passionate like this inspire me on my own women’s healthcare career journey!The doctor was alright and didn’t have the best bedside manner as the other staff. (1 star off for him) He was in a rush during the brief time we met. Also the nurse with short blond hair who took my bp was a bit sharp & rude. But thankfully Kristin was great and answered most of my questions/concernsDont hesitate, awc will make you feel confident, safe and supported in your decision. ❤️

I entered the clinic a nervous wreck but was treated with kindness and compassion . The staff are very helpful and knowledge. I would recommend there services to anyone that is making efforts to be their authentic self. Being transgender, I’m very self-conscious when it comes to medical exams but the nurse was so sweet and the doctor so understanding that it eased much of the panic that I usually feel.I want to thank everyone of the members of AWC for making a big step in my life easier.

Didn’t even get past the phone call with the facility. I was called in the middle of the day and the individual I spoke with was abrupt, rude, disagreeable and seemed annoyed to be speaking to me. I started the conversation asking her to take me off speaker phone Because I was unable to hear her. I told her I needed weekend hours and she said they did not have any until I mentioned I saw on the website that there was and she said “I told you there were hours every other week” (she did not) this is after I explained to her I work a full time job and could not answer a phone call in the middle of the day. Overall she was extremely rude and I told her to forget about it and I would seek care elsewhere.Edit to add: my issue was not with the scheduling. My issue was with the extremely rude and disgruntled employee who answered the phone.

For some of us this can be a difficult time.. with that being said I’m waiting in the lobby and the girls are just talking loud and laughing. I over heard one of them talking about how they can tell it was a hard discussion for me because I couldn’t sign the papers right away. Not mad just disappointed, some of us just want this situation to be as light and easy as possible. I know they’re use to being in this environment because it’s their job but they should take their gossip and chatter and save this for their lunch break.

This was my first time here. The doctor and nurses even receptionists were so kind and compassionate definitely made me feel comfortable, thank you.

Ive been seeing Dr. Roizin for FTM HRT for almost 3 years now and he is just awesome. He seems to really know his stuff and makes me feel very comfortable. The entire staff here is very kind and way more responsive and accommodating than any other practice Ive ever dealt with.

The staff is so kind, helpful, and respectful. As someone with a good amount of anxiety related to doctors and even the most simple medical procedures like having blood drawn, they have always made me feel extremely comfortable and cared for. They have also been flexible and accommodating. Every single person who works there. Thanks for all that you do, AWC.

The staff was very kind and courteous, they were thoughtful and made sure I didn’t wanna change my mind. They were kind and by my side through the whole experience. I would highly recommend this place! The reason they allow you to sit for a while before going in for your procedure is because they give you time to think in case you wanna change your mind and they tell you on the phone be prepared to be there for a minimum of 6 hours even though the procedure will take 15-20 minutes so they give you the heads up prior to your appointment.

Its been 12 years since I was a patient, I could not have had a more supportive caring experience. Starting immediately getting out of my car, I believe it was a volunteer who was so caring and supportive who walked my then boyfriend now husband to the door. I will never ever forget that part if it, this person took time out of their life to help me feel more comfortable and distract me from the radical protesters. Its been 12 years, and I never once doubted my decision. The counselor had me write a letter to my future self, explaining how and why I was making this difficult discussion. I occasionally read it and feel thankful I have that affirmation to refer to. Thank you for everything you did to help me and my husband

I was very nervous about this appointment. But I went in today and the staff was very friendly and told me exactly what was gonna happen before and after. The only thing that sucks is the waiting time but it was to be expected. They handled protesters well (from what I heard from my fiancé and when a guy was being loud and obnoxious in the waiting room.) They definitely made this experience easy for me to deal with as of how nervous i was. I would definitely recommend!

I have a lot of respect for this women’s center. They made an uncomfortable situation less difficult, and their kind and respectful demeanor allowed me to keep my dignity throughout the counseling and appointment process. I called for information prior to making an appointment, and was given full details and options over the phone. I never felt rushed or judged. I have unique health concerns, which the doctor listened and catered to. Yes, the wait time is long, but it is important to remember that this center is catering to certain needs of women not met by all healthcare providers. The positive reviews here are warranted and deserved. You will receive good care here.

AWC has been a great office to continue care. The doctor and staff are very helpful and they make sure your worries are resolved.

Already I am weary on going here. I called the office just an hour ago and I felt the lady I was talking to was rushing me and I felt she was barely willing to listen to anything I had to say.. and she really didnt. I told her I thought I was early, but I am not completely sure.. she said I should be scheduled in a month. Even after telling her that I was not sure how far along I am she said the same thing about scheduling something in a month.. I dont feel like she actually understood or was truly listen to what I was saying or trying to get across. I was expecting at least a appointment to be scheduled soon to figure out exactly how far along I am and then we could go from there. I feel like she just wanted to schedule something and get me off of the phone quickly.. not the best feeling to be going through on top of the stress and heartbreak that I am already dealing with. I talked to another clinic and we talked for at least 10 minutes. Not a 2 minutes and 30 seconds like I did with this clinic.. unbelievable as I just checked my call log to confirm the time we spent on the phone together.

My experience here with staffs was good when I first went there to make a appt and they was nice and respectful during my procedure. but the day after I was sore vomiting and really sick they said to call if I get sick after my care and I did I left a message on the nurse station vm as well and no one ever called me back to tell me what I should do. I did go to my nearest urgent care because I was really sick I couldn’t even stand i am very disappointed with this place I actually thought I found a new place I could trust but clearly I didn’t SMH very disappointed with this place. Still haven’t get a call back it’s been 5days since I called and no return phone call sigh…

I went in really freaked out and nervous and was met with nothing but the most kind and caring staff Ive ever met. They made a very uncomfortable situation as easy as possible. I would recommend these amazing people any day. Thank you AWC for your kindness and support on a very hard day.

I go to Allentown Womens Center for HRT, all of the staff are very patient, helpful and genuine. Being treated by the nurses was like being around friends, and they seemed to sincerely care that I have a positive experience, and that my health is of highest priority.

I cannot say enough good things about AWC. at one of the hardest times of my life, they put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and not judged at all. i arrived at 11:10 and was out by 2:30. every staff member was caring, attentive and non judgmental and i will forever be thankful for people like them.

The womens center is amazing. I first went here for an abortion ten years ago and have been a patient for all of my other needs since. They are extremely caring and very good with communication. Ive gotten several iuds placed here with great results. Very very happy

The staff at this location as far as head of billing Sharon is a complete disgrace to the field,, I had the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with this condescending individual who has no regard or even the simplest of people skills to handle a matter of billing she was extremely rude unjust and not helpful what so ever I have never had to deal with so much disrespect or unprofessional approach on the fact that they double charged for a procedure and were not even willing to help. After suggesting that they inform the patient that charges may differ based on blood type which would have been very helpful no one even apologized for the miscommunication they all stated that it was my responsibility to have know like wth? youre obviously in the business of something very delicate and sensitive so the last thing anyone on the other side of the glass would need is to be made to feel judged or helpless. Is sorry but these worst experience i have ever had. Horrible service in the administrative and billing staff.

The Allentown Womens Center doctors and staff are amazing. I am a patient there and I also take my daughter there, I trust them with my life. They are very caring and professional. They are capable of giving patients the best care.

This place is ridiculous. They give u early am appointments. 10 am and you leave at 4 pm closing. The waiting room was packed (20 ppl, small area) when I arrived at 10 am. What is the point of an appointment? Its pretty much a general seating event. Its crazy. We cant eat in here or drink due to covid so we have to pretty much starve all day to be seen. You ask how long no one has answers. No one is telling us nothing. Just leave us waiting and thats it.

Dr. Roizin is by far the best doctor I have encountered in my life. He is truly a blessing to his patients. If youre looking for a great doctor who cares , hes definitely your guy

The staff are very friendly, comforting, caring, and not judgemental of your decision(s). They had answers for every question that I had for them. This building is clean and its in a more secluded area which I liked. If you have to make your choice I strongly recommend coming here. Its ok, ladies. You have your reasons of why you made your choice. Dont let anyone judge or bully you for it!

Looooooongest wait of my entire life waiting anywhere....... All they want to do is cash everyone out and charge everyone right away because once they have your payment you have given them there is not a danm thing you can do about it other than A) flip on them and get nowhere and then fall asleep because all they care about is that payment. Once you pay your forgot about for over 2 hours while they check clients in who are scheduled 3 hours AFTER your appointment time and then try and rush the 40+ procedures all at once back to back to get everyone out of there.

Wonderful and friendly staff! Didnt have to wait all that long either. Highly recommend.

This place was amazing! I had the surgical abortion without anesthesia and the doctor was so good I barely felt anything. The staff was caring, kind and not judgmental at all. This place was def worth the 1.5 hour drive

Started going here to get Nexplanon and have been coming as a GYN patient ever since. Both the male and female doctors are the nicest people you will meet and they really work with you and any concerns you may have about anything. Everyone you speak to- fromScheduling an appointment to follow up on test results is very kind and compassionate. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for routine care and contraception. I thought it would be a good idea to throw a positive review out there regarding the rountine GYN aspect of AWC as well.

Everyone was nice and caring. The doctor held my hand through the procedure and was so sweet, felt at home. I recommend this place to anyone in need, its judgement free too.

Overall procedure was good they were very nice and gentle...they said if I had any issues after procedure to call them...well here I am on my way to e.r. because they dont know how to answer their phone.

The billing woman was very rude and when we told her that no one told us about having to pay in full at the time she made me feel so stupid! ! The billing woman put me in a room and wouldnt open the door until i got someone on the phone to give them money! i will be pursing this bc i wasted an entire day off and they told me to just reschedule i live 50 minutes from this place!! I cant afford to just go anywhere! Let alone use half my gas tank! Im very disappointed. Women are going through a lot in these situations and you treat them inhumanly? So rude. Not understanding at all. Very selfish staff! If i had known this before i would have rather driven miles than to be treated so poorly. Im still in shock, i have never been spoken to like that

Continuously playing phone tag with this place. The worker handling my information regarding HRT quit with no notice and left me hanging - I was supposed to be transferred to someone else and continue receiving help. Its been 5 weeks. What a waste of time for false hope. Glad Im searching elsewhere.

The Allentown Womens center provides abortion, gynecological, and transgender care to all patients. The staff is not only professional, but very compassionate and will go above and beyond to serve the various needs of patients. Coming here is like being in the company of good friends.

Terrible, got here for an appointment at 11. Did not get seen until around 12, my gf was constantly pukeing this whole time. Finnaly we get seen and everything is fine. They said next is payment, that took almost 2 hours because there was a problem in the mean time my gf is throwing up bile, and blood in three pink containers. Finally able to pay when we get told we cant take your care credit card. A card for health care and they dont take it!!! We were told we would have to reschedule. Hello how the hell can you tell a girl who is pukeing up blood they have to reschedule. Some one who could die and is in serious pain!!! Saying its not a credit card we take. I had to pay with my amazon. You will take an Amazon credit card but not a care credit thats is for health care. Totally inconcivince. Billing sucks and so does payment. When is money more Important then a human life. Going to contact the health beruro very soon.

Best smoothest experience I could’ve asked for everyone was so amazing , the male doctor held my hand & nurses were great.

I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for over a month now and every-time I call they never even pick up the phone. If you’re a new client, I recommend going somewhere else since it is impossible to get anyone to pick up no matter what department you call. 👎🏼
