The person on the phone thought it was very funny that a Puerto Rican trans woman almost died of a near overdose death. The person on the phone also found it very funny that a trans woman in severe pain is having trouble with medicine access while laughing and saying I would have a hard time doing so because of the near overdose death the person had just laughed about moments prior. They are known affiliates of Evergreen Health who I am not fond of in the slightest either specifically especially their mental health department. They offer no help or justice to trans women who are now of course living in the area.

This community center saved my life more than once! I first started hrt to transition to a transwoman by buying it online and self-dosing. I Googled lgbt centers once I realized that self-dosing was unsafe and that I wanted to continue to transition and The Pride Center of WNY showed up. I met with Cameron S. and he helped me and pointed me to where I get my hrt prescriptions and medical care from. The groups are helpful and you can schedule an appointment to talk about issues. Ive had a few self harm and suicidal ideation scares and theyve called someone to come check on me at home. Theyve saved me and helped me become the woman I am. Thank you for being around

Enjoyed being a part of PRIDE 4 years ago...they really do nothing anymore..group meetings or outings like Woodlawn beach are no more.
