Exceptional surgeon, exceptional practice. The BEST medical experience Ive had and I say this as a medical professional with a health history that includes stage iii cancer and 12+ surgical procedures, and Dr. Jey and her team are the BEST Ive encountered. Knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, organized, thorough, and supportive. Dr. Jey reassured me before surgery and made me feel safe. I will never refer a woman to another ob-gyn surgeon so long as Dr. Jeyalingam is in practice. Five stars, 10/10, perfect scores in every area that matters. Dr. Jeyalingam truly cares about her patients and goes the extra mile in so many ways. Her entire staff is excellent. The RNs and MAs are so helpful and kind. Every encounter has been smooth, professionally handled, and they all exude this comforting compassion. Just, excellent. For context, I had a large uterine fibroid that was causing excessive bleeding, think ten days of heavy period every 3.5 weeks (blessed with a short cycle, ugh) and I have been chronically anemic for years. I attempted a uterine fibroid embolization in Aug 2023 through Windsong that was not successful. Thus, I came to Dr. Jey for a consultation and had a full hysterectomy, robo-assisted laparoscopic. Other surgeons wouldnt entertain the idea because theyd deemed high risk. But Dr. Jey and team did their research, checked my MRIs and felt confident they could get it done as lap surgery and she did!! I am so impressed, grateful, and relieved to be on the downside of recovery, FINALLY.

Dr. Jey is wonderful. When I came to her with concerns on possible endometriosis, she was highly knowledgeable but still empathetic. She puts her patients quality of life first and actually listens to their symptoms. I can honestly say from my initial appointment to the end of my laparoscopic procedure that my interactions with her is best healthcare experience I’ve ever had.

I want to preface this review by saying that, in writing this, I mean no disrespect to Dr. Jey. However, the mistake that she made during my surgery was too profound to ignore. In August of 2021, after suffering from years of excruciatingly painful periods and a sudden onset of severe pelvic pain, Dr. Jey performed a diagnostic laparoscopy on me in search of Endometriosis. However, when I woke up from surgery, I noticed that I only had one incision, that the surgery was incredibly short, and I was subsequently told that I definitely did not have Endometriosis. As the months went on, my condition rapidly worsened. My pain became so severe that it was difficult to walk, and I had no choice but to drop out of the college I was attending and transfer to a university closer to home. Much of my days were spent at home, burning my lower abdomen with my heating pad, and I was in and out of doctors’ offices, hospitals for “appendicitis pain” (it was not appendicitis), and urgent care. Meanwhile, I had been undergoing extensive GI, Urology, and Rheumatology evaluations with no answers. I was only a teenager, but by that point I had already been placed on a medication that essentially induces menopause-type symptoms on two separate occasions. I felt hopeless, isolated, and started to question my sanity. Finally, once I hit 20, after failing every birth control and high-dose hormone treatment thrown my way, I sought the expertise of another GYN surgeon. I ended up undergoing a second laparoscopy, which revealed Endometriosis, and pathology confirmed the diagnosis. I had the disease the entire time. I have since had two more surgeries, including a hysterectomy, all of which revealed Endometriosis.Again, this review is not meant to be an attack on Dr. Jey’s character. Nevertheless, because Dr. Jey was not thorough in her investigation and completely missed my Endometriosis during my first laparoscopy, my diagnosis was delayed by almost two years, and it cost me the rest of my teenage years, friendships, and some of my academic career. In short, I do not believe Dr. Jey is a bad person, or even a bad surgeon. However, I would not recommend her for Endometriosis excision surgery, particularly if you are trying to get diagnosed.

I cannot recommend Dr Jey enough. I had been in pain for over 5 years and constantly got dismissed by doctors who would just recommend changing my birth control or taking more pain meds. The first visit with Dr. Jey she was almost positive it was endometriosis and had a surgery scheduled to find out for sure about 4 weeks later. I am now 2 weeks post op and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis and have a reason for all of my pain. It is so crazy that it took 5 years of being dismissed by doctors to find one who made me not feel crazy and actually listened to me, but I am so thankful I did!!

Its been two years since my open partial hysterectomy. Dr Jeyalingham was an exceptional listener, she took time to answer questions, she was empathic and kind. Ive recommended her to so many women. I believe that she cares about her patients as individual women to be cared for, not just as a case number to take care of.

For many years, GIs dismissed my symptoms, saying, It must just be IBS. One day, when all of my medications and other treatments for IBS stopped working, I did some research and learned I might have endometriosis. But my primary care doctor told me I was likely wasting my time and money if I sought out a diagnosis. He didnt think I could have endometriosis since no one in my immediate family had it, and he told me to take more anxiety meds and lose weight. Instead, I asked my OB/GYN for advice and she referred me to Dr. Jeyalingam.Dr. Jeyalingam not only took my symptoms seriously, she told me with confidence before my surgery, Im sure well find endo. And, in the end, she did indeed do so, and she removed it! Im still recovering a few weeks later, but so far I already feel much more energetic, and dont have daily flares anymore. Thank you, Dr. J., for validating my concerns and taking care of the problem when other doctors wouldnt.

Dr. Jey is fantastic! She took time to explain things and made sure we had all of our questions and concerns answered. Dr. Jeys gentle and engaging personality put my mind (and my husbands) at ease. Our office visits were on time, very little waiting time, and her staff was friendly and supportive. My experience on the day of the procedure couldnt have been better. I cant say enough kind things about Dr. Jeys surgical team - they were empathic to my anxiety and kind. If I could, Id give Dr. Jey 10 gold stars.

I personally cannot say enough GREAT things about Dr. Jey. She is truly one of a kind. I was referred to her to have surgery done. From my initial consultation I felt immediately comfortable with her. She is not only a very skilled surgeon but a truly compassionate and kind doctor. This is what stood out to me with her, you could and can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. You are not a number with her, you are a person! She calmed my nerves about the surgery and answered all my question’s throughly. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. So happy to have found you! Thanks for being you and all that you do to stand apart! You truly are amazing!!!
