Planned Parenthood - Burlington Health Center

Dr. Allison Love is an excellent practitioner. Very knowledgeable and a very nice person. Highly recommended.

I want to preface by saying the services, desk staff and nurses are all phenomenal here. But the doctors are lacking in knowledge and I was severely mistreated twice recently. Alissa Warshaw is completely unknowledgeable about utis and not only spoke down to me, but screwed up my simple lab, waited two weeks to tell me she hadn’t actually sent in the labs, after I had to beg for a urinalysis in the first place and advocate desperately for my health during my two hour visit. Somehow as a patient I had more knowledge about urinary infections than this doctor, and left my visit in tears and incredibly frustrated. I am suffering currently greatly from mistreatment and would not recommend being seen by this person. Another doctor swabbed a wrong location w a great deal of force and pain and continued to gaslight me after and during the simple procedure. The negligence I received from these doctors has been so costly and debilitating. Please hire more thorough and educated doctors.

This clinic is great. I recently had a vasectomy done. I was looking into this with a different, locally well known health care company. It would have taken 6 month to go through the process. I called Planed parenthood and had a consultation and procedure appoint for the same day within two weeks. Aside from the the expected current discomfort. I am confident with choosing planed parenthood.Ive never written a google review before. I do so for other men out there looking into this service. Its not typically a service that gets personal reviews.

Cant hit a vein to save their lives. Burst one. Missed two. Moved the needle in my arm. Doctor told me to come back within the week as though my veins would be magically better after the brutalization i recieved. They then forgot me in the office for 10 minutes. Only after i poked my head out did the others spend 10 more deliberating what to do with me. Left sobbing and in pain with a new appointment i couldnt even make.Found out the next day that they canceled the prescription i made at CVS the previous week, just to upcharge me for the exact same dosage. They then fed me what feels like a ballfaced lie about the prescription expiring on, and i quote, the 31st or 30th of January, unable to keep a date straight even, but doubling down despite the bottles themselves saying i had refills that expire in August of this year, as well as the CVS app telling me they were canceled and giving me the option to contact the pharmacy if i still need them.My first visit was not this horrible. I actually had a very pleasant experience the first time. What changed between then and now to make everything so awful? I dont know, but I do plan to investigate these claims of expiration with CVS, and I will be in contact in the future should the pharmacist corroborate my gut feeling of this being a lie meant to shut me up.Im wondering if everyone who comes here recieve the same brutal treatment nowadays, or if the Burlington branch has been co-opted by TERFs and its just the ones on HRT getting screwed over so absurdly hard.All i know is that after this absolutely awful experience, if this wasnt the only planned parenthood in miles, i would switch in an instant to get my gender affirming care. If you have a car and youre trying to get gender affirming care, weigh your options very carefully before choosing this planned parenthood.I will definitely keep this review updated if i can.

I have never had such a good experience with doctors in my entire life, everyone was so kind and gentle. They let me ask as many questions as possible, they were ALL so comforting to be around. i was unable to catch the assistant Managers name but she was outrageously sweet and understanding and made sure i was feeling ok throughout my whole appointment. I recommend going here for any and all women’s health care. I couldn’t be more grateful for the women who helped me yesterday. ❤️

My experience at the PPNNE Burlington Health Center was FANTASTIC! Every employee was kind and helpful, and the medical providers who administered my treatment made me feel completely safe, comfortable, and validated. I cannot imagine having a better experience in receiving medical treatment, and I am incredibly grateful for the good work of everyone at the Burlington Health Center.

Had a great experience at PPH. The staff was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Dr. Janoweic is very comfortable to work with, knowledge and easy to talk to.

Every time I go to Planned Parenthood, I feel so grateful that this service exists!! They offer all sorts of different health care options including mental health counseling. The people have been so kind and understanding to me and I would recommend anyone go here!

They are so nice and comforting, and always give me the best care. However, they suck at picking up the phone. It takes me two days to schedule an appointment, and I usually have to call about five times in one day by the time they answer the call.

If your a man dont go. Dont go with your girl you are not welcome there. I have never felt more unwanted in my life. they will ask you to stay in the waiting area and they will come get you but they dont. It wasnt just me either the other 3 guys there that day got the same treatment

Enabling mental illness instead of trying to treat it. They make more money off of people if they remain mentality unstable. Do not go here for help.

PLEASE READ: I called ahead to make sure multiple times that they had the right testing AS I HAD TOLD THEM that I was at the Williston location and the Williston location didn’t have the right swab.. planned parenthood in Burlington proceeded to ask multiple nurses who said they had the testing THEY HAVE NO PARKING and I waited over an hour parked illegally just for them to tell me that they don’t have the test!!! WASTED MY TIME AND GAD FOR WHAT THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL PLACE the fact that yall got no parking for the people that don’t have money for the parking garages is also sick asf🤢
