Dr. Hess delivered my first baby via emergency c section, and though I was sad at the time it was the best thing for babys health. I knew I would be in good hands with her for a repeat c section. My second baby was measuring small and we decided it would be best for delivery at 38 weeks. I had so many fears and all of them were put to rest with Dr. Hess. She kept the OR light and comfortable while also remaining professional, and made me feel totally at ease. You can tell she is amazing at what she does. We were able to immediately do skin to skin while I was being stitched up. I had the best birth experience (for getting cut open!) Dr. Myers also assisted in the surgery and the whole team simply did a wonderful job.

The lack of tact during my emergency c-section surgery, with the surgeon discussing personal plans for lunch and what her weekend looked like as I lay cut open, separated from my husband and newborn, was highly unprofessional. Although the nurses were my saving grace through my delivery, their gossip about Dr. Hesss surgical skills after she left was also very inappropriate. Commenting on the excessive blood spillage all over the floor and table compare to the other doctors was extremely insensitive during a very frightening moment. Despite my appreciation for my OBGYN at the practice, Id hesitate to deliver here again with the possibility of having this doctor in the rotation. Ive debated not writing this review, but upon reflection, I hope sharing my experience can prevent a similar situation for someone else in the future.

I love Dr Hess!!!I have had two surgery with Dr Hess one being a full hysterectomy. Dr Hess has always been honest , great listener . Your in good hands 🙌 With Dr Hess!!!

Helped me get through a few of the worst events of my life with care and companion. Always made me feel like a priority. By far my favorite Doctor I’ve ever had.
