Dr Busselwitz is a wonderful doctor. She takes the time to answer all of your questions thoroughly and professionally. I like that she takes the time to explain options for treatment.. I really appreciate about the whole practice that everyone is on time. I had several tests before I met with the doctor and each of them were on time and got me through quickly. I didnt wait more than a few minutes at any point. Thank you for showing me that my time is as important as yours.

Had a small surgical procedure done in the office. Very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, caring and thorough. Very concerned about the well being of the patient during the procedure. Both Dr. Bussewitz and her nurse are fabulous. Highly recommend these two highly trained individuals. !! Thanks you for your care and patience!

Dr. Bussewitz and the care staff are the most amazing, kind, caring, and knowledgeable team out there when it comes to womens health. Ive been a patient for several years and never once have I had a bad experience. Even on days where theres longer than usual wait times (which should always be anticipated in healthcare) the considerate staff is always making sure to pop in to check on you. That speaks volumes, knowing theyre probably using that time when they could use a break themselves most on those days. Much respect and admiration for the team and all they do.

Switched to Dr. Bussewitz after a not great experience at a different OB office. Very glad I did, she’s personable, professional and very knowledgeable. She’s also a straight shooter which I greatly appreciate. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new OB dr!

After having seen another provider at the practice and have a less than great experience I switched all of my things to Dr. Bussewitz. She came in and started asking questions about ME rather than just treating me as just another pt to get through. The switch to her was definitely the right decision.

Today was my first time meeting with Dr. Bussewitz. I LOVE her. She made me feel very comfortable. She took the time to get to know me prior to our exam. Her nurse Sherri was great as well.

Dr. Bussowitz has a great bedside manner and is always open to any questions you may have. I feel very comfortable with her when I have an appointment.

This was my first visit with Dr. Bussewitz. She has a caring and compassionate personality, with a calming demeanor. She spent an adequate amount of time with me, answering my questions. I felt an immediate bond and comfort level with her. She invested in me as a person and not just another patient passing through.

Dr. Bussewitz is absolutely fantastic. I never leave her office with any questions or uncertainty because of how well she explains things. Best OB Ive ever had!

OBGYN offices are professional and efficient but the doctor still spends adequate time discussing patient concerns. Examinations have always been fairly painful but are just mildly uncomfortable now by my current doctor which I didn’t even know was possible before. I also feel my concerns are heard and addressed. I highly recommend the office and Dr. Bussewitz.

Dr. Bussewitz is hands down one of the best providers I’ve ever had! My first baby was a full term stillbirth at 37 weeks, Dr. Bussewitz was the first to shed a tear after her delivery. She also checked in to make sure I was coping well after. Of course, after a positive experience like that, I chose her for my subsequent pregnancies. She went above and beyond to make sure my babies were well monitored and did her best to keep my anxieties low. She took her time during appointments to explain things in detail and was forward and honest with any questions/concerns I had. She is an amazing provider with such a kind and compassionate heart and I’m grateful to have her as a part of my care team!

Dr Bussewitz was really good. My visit was for two medical problems. She addressed every one of my concerns, was professional and did not rush me. A lot was accomplished on this visit. Good demeanor.

Then yesterday I seen a much different side I took my 16yr old to see her 😀 ❤ And she sat and really talked to my daughter herself and came up with a plan . I have used Dr Bussewitz and many other providers for myself and my daughters. I trust them with all of our needs. It is a comfortable office, staff are very nice and my needs have always been fully met.

Dr Bussewitz is far and above better than any physician I have come in contact with. She gives bad news in such a way that it lessens the blow, and moves forward immediately. I appreciate her knowledge, her efficiency, and her poise. My husband and I would choose her over and over again.

Dr. Bussewitz is amazing! She is so positive and cheerful. No matter what your appointment is (monthly pregnancy check-ins can be a quicker appointment vs. your longer annual), she will discuss your options, symptoms, etc. in-depth and no matter the time she has with you, she makes you feel heard and that shes making tons of time for you. She delivered my first baby and made the experience so calm. Since our hospitals here have call schedules, we use whoever is on call and Im secretly trying to make sure shes the one on call that day. She is truly the best!

She is the best! She was always so cool and calm during all our appointments. Made me feel so much at ease with all my questions and concerns. Day of delivery she was truly the BEST cheerleader and was so encouraging while I pushed!

Nice office, tastefully decorated. Staff were kind and worked well together. Check in and check out went well. Appointments seemed to be on time without much unnecessary waiting.As a first time patient, it would have been nice to receive instructions about parking prior to arrival.

I love having Bussewitz as my doctor. She was very personable and knowledgeable throughout my whole pregnancy. She did such an amazing job on my c-section so you barely tell I have a scar.Postpartum she has been super helpful. She’s given me all of the options for birth control and isn’t pushy when it comes to choosing the right one or changing it a few times.

I really like my primary OB, but couldn’t have been happier to have Dr Bussewitz deliver my child and wouldn’t hesitate to go to her! Dr. Bussewitz was great throughout my pregnancy and during labor. She’s the only doctor I saw (besides Dr. Cundiff in hospital who started my induction & is also great) and was so patient & understanding of all my anxieties/questions as a first time mom. She kept me calm through an unplanned c-section & continues to be supportive postpartum. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Bussewitz not only violated a clearly stated boundary, she was fat-phobic and I found her professionalism lacking. Ive heard shes better if youre actively pregnant when you see her, but I was not so I cant speak to that experience. What I can say is that in the past Dr. Bussewitz has been brusque and stand offish but my last visit when I actually wanted to talk to her about my care she was awful and I left the place in tears. Now its been a few months, Ive found a new Ob-Gyn at the University and its night and day from how I was treated by Dr. Bussewitz.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bussewitz for about 7 years. She became my doctor when I got pregnant with our daughter. Her support through my pregnancy, as well her expertly done c-section was fantastic. I also had a small procedure done recently and it was like I didn’t even have surgery. Dr. Bussewitz is down to earth, intelligent, and always offers her expert opinions with confidence. I appreciate that in a doctor.

On a rather chaotic morning (ie: I was in stirrups and we were mid exam when a fire alarm went off) I still felt like the only patient of Dr. Bussewitz in the world. During a LEEP, after a scary diagnosis and colposcopy, with lights flashing and goodness knows what else inside of an OBGYN clinic, during a pandemic and subsequent baby boom, I WAS the focus. This is excellence in Medicine. I was referred by my PCP (who is an absolutely amazing doctor) into the hands of another doctor who showed grace, compassion, empathy and humor!!! She even went above and beyond to make me aware that I could get the Gardasil vaccine at the age of 40! I will be doing my follow-up with her.My nurse and the frontline staff were amazing as well! There isnt enough time to sing their praises. Patient, kind, gracious, wonderful and funny to boot! I didnt feel like an outsider (lent to them by the UofI) on my first visit in 19 years. I had my first two children with providers from this practice and they are just as amazing 23 years later! Thank you for what you do. Thank you for showing care and excellence in Medicine. We are fortunate to have you in our community!

After 20-some years with same OB-GYN, needed to find a new doctor due to retirement. Dr Bussewitz took the time to visit with me before exam started to find out any health concerns or outstanding questions I may have. Very good care and treatment.

Dr Bussewitz is great, I’ve gone to her for both my pregnancys. She is knowledgeable, kind and only does what’s necessary for you and baby. She really listens and is fast with responding with answers you can understand. I highly recommend her.
