The clinical staff at Reach were great during our time at Reach. They were always helpful and caring. Ann Morris was my doctor and she was absolutely amazing! We had 2 unsuccessful transfers before our successful 3rd transfer (baby Harmon is due Nov 2024). Even through the hard times Ann Morrris helped me through it and she researched/tested to make sure she did everything in her power to help my transfer be successful. So thankful for her! The only complaint we had was the business office. They were not on top of things and my husband had to be our advocate in that area.

I have been a patient at REACH since 2018 and my experience has been amazing. Today took the cake! I spoke with Linda in billing and she was so kind. She took the time to break down my charges from 2022 to current and clarified exactly what my insurance covered. She gave me space to ask questions and did not rush our conversation. It was truly affirming and empowering to gain a clear understanding of my financial obligations while receiving treatment. I am so grateful to the office and medical staff at REACH for playing such an important role in helping my wife and I become parents.

I had a good experience 24 years ago but things have changed! My daughter had an appointment on Friday that she paid $375 for. She was seen for 20 minutes by PA and not offered the ultrasound she had to pay for upfront. She was then rushed in to spend 10 minutes with the financial office who explained they would need $10k to get started. It’s a shame people are rushed in and out like a fast food restaurant and not given the time or services they pay for upfront. She will not be back after this experience. Find a Dr that cares about helping you instead of rushing people in and out and charging for services they don’t receive.

As another reviewer shared, I showed up to an appointment and told me could not see the provider due to an outstanding balance.Come to find out, the billing department made an error and applied a pre payment required for a specific procedure to a different balance therefore resulting in a balance for a procedure I knew I had paid.I had to agree to pay the balance on the spot in order to see my provider and of course the receptionist had no idea what was going on and the billing department could not be reached. In my opinion, the experience with the billing process/ department alone is reason to seek treatment at a different clinic.

Our first couple appointments with one of the PAs went well, then it went downhill quickly from there.During our 3rd appointment, I had imaging done by a tech and never saw the PA. In fact, to my knowledge, the imaging was never reviewed by a PA, NP, or MD. My imaging documentation stated that I had an endometrioma, but Ive never even had the necessary exploratory surgery to confirm that I have endometriosis to begin with. Half of my blood test results were delayed for several weeks beyond the estimated timeline they provided, and we were never contacted for follow-up or review of my imaging or test results. I asked to have my images sent to my regular GYN, and all they sent was the documentation, which was completed poorly and insufficiently. So, I had a complex ovarian cyst with a history of cancer in my family, and ZERO follow-up and failure to share the images upon my request.Additionally, we received a bill from the genetic testing company, 8mo after our appointment, for $2,600, after REACH estimated a price of around $200 when they consented us for testing. We went back and forth with REACH for several weeks before getting this resolved. The billing department was helpful, but the clinical team was not following up on recoding the charge.Overall, our experience left us feeling neglected and incredibly frustrated. My husband and I are both healthcare providers, and we were extremely disappointed and confused by their methods of operation and the treatment we received (or, more accurately, the treatment we didnt receive). We will not be returning.

I feel like I want to shout at the top of the mountain that I absolutely love REACH and the team but this is the best I could do LOL. I have struggled with infertility for 14 years. About 8yrs ago my husband and I decided to speak with a fertility specialist here in Idaho where we live. After 3 failed IVFs and 3 Miscarriages we thought it wasnt in the cards for us. I didnt feel supported or felt like my fertility doctor truly wanted to help me have family. They never wanted to do any testing to see why I couldnt carry, they were always so rude, the billing dept was so unprofessional and could never keep our file straight. It was so frustrating because there is no other fertility clinic Idaho. It’s truly sad to have felt this way considering everyone in their office had been through infertility and I would have thought there would be more compassion. I felt like a number and not a human. I still had 6 embryos out of 12 and I didnt want to give up. My cousin who lives in NC said she would be honored to carry my baby for me. I was so nervous to start this process all over again because of my previous experience. I went to google and started my search. I found Reach on google and read the reviews and felt this was where I wanted to go. From the start the staff at Reach were so nice and welcoming. On my first call over video with Dr. Ann Morris I felt a calmness, she was willing to do testing for me and deep dive into why I was unable to carry to full term. Thinking of my age and everything I had already gone through, I felt that surrogacy was my best option. After our call I felt so excited to start this process but also alittle scared because again...past experience. I can say that I have never felt more cared for then I did at Reach. I transferred my embryos from Idaho to NC and I was ready to begin this journey. I flew to NC for the embryo transfer and I was blown away. The staff welcomed us with open arms and they were so nice. I was so shocked when I got to see MY embryo go into the tube under a microscope, TEARS!!!! How beautiful! I mean right there on the big screen were my little babes and I was in awe. 7 months later we are so excited that our baby girl will make her entrance into the world in 2 short months. I can never thank Dr. Ann Morris and her team for what they have done for me and my family. From the nurses, to scheduling, to billing everyone treated me like a human and you could truly tell they cared about you and wanted this to be successful. They really understand the struggle of infertility and they provide that extra TLC. So THANK YOU Reach for this beautiful experience and helping me get my miracle baby. I will sing your praises till my dying day.

The Langtree Location shows a lot of favoritism. The provider and nurse lie and are very selective with patients and staff. The nurse knew nothing of sterilization protocols . The provider shows favorable to the nurse and doesn’t know how to work with diversity. This is not an equal opportunity place and the provider loudly announces how all she needs to do is speak with the executive director and will get her way. She speaks poorly of management and other providers and nursing staff. In over 20 years I have not ever worked with bullying and harassment on a day to day basis. These individuals are young and have a lot to learn in the field bc in another practice this would not fly for any of them as it is unacceptable behavior. They have met the right one bc I’m prepared to go all the way .The fact that the executive director also has no clue his name is being thrown poorly is disbelief and the fact that he did not even take the time to meet with me.Basically he is being placed as an individual who caters to this privileged provider who is selective with whom she provides treatment . Not sure if he is even aware of how she speaks of him catering to her needs above the other providers . Her nurse does several errors and always forgiven and laughed off about it bc the provider says it’s just her generation. (Unacceptable anywhere else especially if giving verbal orders and RN is forgetting them). The fact that this provider harassed me daily and doesn’t know how to work with another race . She is so rude and shows her racism. (Unacceptable behavior and definitely such an uncomfortable feeling daily ).She undermines her nurse but since her nurse is young (the nurse accepts the behavior).i will say this . Charlotte office is much better . HR needs to look into lots of this and management needs to be more aware that they slander and make fun of her with every moment they get .The nurse feels overwhelmed but gets away with so many errors but critiques others . Other RN’s help her and she critiques them as well for jumping in and assisting. The RN is not a trainer , I observed this and her struggle with training . She has a lot to learn as a young RN and doesn’t help that her NP provider has taught her rude and bad behaviors.Very unprofessional and when I say I have not ever encounter such bad behavior. I let it flow bc I have respect and respect doesn’t stop at the door of a work place .However they chose the right one bc I’m going all the way with this matter .Discrimination is a huge no no and the fact that she chose to bully and end my employment bc I would not cater to her bullying and harrasment and that the company itself will allow this . The Nurse practitioner has a lot of growing up to do and in this field she definitely has to learn to work with minorities and she must also learn her HIPPA violations along With knowing OSHA policies as well. She isn’t fair to other providers either .Sadly it was a place I wanted to be a part of for such a rewarding part of people’s lives . Women’s health and healthcare is important . It’s why I have remained in healthcare . Everyone encounters something in their career and it’s so unfortunate that I thought so highly of this place and looked passed their reviews .

The road to getting pregnant when you feel like youve exhausted what feels like all your options can be emotionally and physically exhausting, but after first contacting REACH and meeting with Taylor Holt we were very hopeful. After two IUIs, we ultimately decided to pursue IVF and had success with our first transfer. The entire team at REACH has been incredibly supportive and have always been easy to get ahold of for what feels like a million questions and concerns that can arise when going through these processes. We are excited to be graduating from REACH but are sad to say goodbye to the team that has been so helpful along the way. Thank you for all your team has done for us! Highly recommended.

I would give reach zero stars if I could. Saw Dr. Katz once virtually and proceeded with one unsuccessful round of IUI. The entire experience here start to finish was bad. I never leave reviews but feel compelled to help other women avoid this place. My first visit to the office and the receptionist left me sitting in the waiting room for over an hour staring at me. They called me to see if I planned on attending my appointment that day. How do you not check your lobby first? Every experience was cold, you feel like just a number and they are just there to collect your money. The billing department is an actual joke. Illegal double billings, not properly filing insurance claims. I am still fighting charges from April 2022 where they double billed.

They got us in for an appointment the same week we called inquiring. They listened to us and what we needed/expected and valued our opinions throughout our infertility journey. Grace Perez, Gillian Dawkins, and team are top notch professionals. We are now 12 weeks pregnant with our little one after only being at REACH for 3 months. They truly took part of the stress of infertility away from us by knowing we were in such good hands. As grateful as we are to have graduated REACH, we were sad to leave such a quality facility and staff. We highly recommend them!

I cannot share enough wonderful thing about REACH & their team! From the staff that greets you when you walk through the door to the doctors, nurses & embryologists team… they are your cheerleaders, your hope when you feel like giving up, your peace of mind to remind you to trust the process. I have had the pleasure of being with REACH since 2019. Ive had multiple rounds of treatments and every step of the way I felt supported by the nurses and doctors at REACH. I recently had a successful embryo transfer and we are excited that we are pregnant with our second REACH baby! REACH gave my husband and I a chance to have a family & we will be forever grateful for them! Dr. Whelan was my doctor and he is extremely knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain things including the research that backs up the decisions he makes for your treatment plan. Another REACH team member that always helped and made me feel so comfortable was Taylor Holt. All the nurses that I interacted with have been a tremendous help by answering all my questions and guiding me in the right direction. I love the new Ballantyne location. Its the Friday before New Years Eve, and I just spent 1 hour on the phone with REACHs billing department. Linda Davis, who helped me, spent an inordinate amount of time walking me through 14 months of billing history to answer my questions and ensure I knew how and to what services my money was applied. She displayed true patience and kindness, because I know my questions and concerns were confusing and poorly worded, but Linda never made me feel that I was an imposition. Fertility treatments are expensive, especially when your insurance provider doesnt cover IVF, and it means the world to deal with an organization that is committed to making sure you understand where every cent goes.

(Re-sharing after my review was deleted)I had a consultation with Dr. Wing a few weeks ago, and initially, everything seemed promising. However, things took a downturn afterwards. Last year, we underwent external monitoring at REACH through a different clinic. Unfortunately, due to their inefficiency, they sent the bill to the wrong insurance. Fast forward to this year, I transitioned to becoming a patient at REACH, only to receive an email at 4:30 PM on the day before my biopsy appointment, informing me that it had been canceled due to non-payment.I reached out via the portal, and my call was returned by Chaquetta Bolden. I cannot adequately express how disappointed I am in her rude, mean, and disrespectful behavior. She left me in tears, leading me to the decision of immediately canceling all treatments with the clinic. I couldnt help but reflect on how fortunate I am to have spared myself further frustration by discontinuing my treatment at REACH. If this is the manner in which the clinic chooses to present itself, I am resolute in my decision not to engage their services or recommend them. Its clear now why they have received negative reviews, and unfortunately, their behavior aligns with those discouraging standards.Prioritize your hard-earned money and seek out an alternative clinic. My desire to have a child certainly doesnt mean I should tolerate such unacceptable conduct.

My nursing team and Taylor Holt are good. I liked Dr Whelan, he actually explained things with my procedure. However, if you owe REACH any money they will cancel your appointments in the middle of your treament until they get paid. Very insensitive. With IVF and fertility treatments being time sensitive, this is horrible to do to someone. They will charge you things such as “facility fee” which for me was $450 on top of an already expensive procedure. None of this is explained before you agree to the procedure. They will offer all these procedures, you agree, set the appointment, and then they tell you they need “$xyz” paid beforehand. Most of the time it’s a few days before the procedure is scheduled that you are told this. The billing person is Tilda Jones is very condescending. I was messaged in their portal at 9pm and was told to pay $500 before my 7am monitoring appointment or I wouldn’t be able to go. You have to pay a “$40 copay” no matter what your insurance covers before every appointment you have. So if you have an appointment on Monday and a follow up on Wednesday, yes you will be paying $40 both times.

I was surprised there are two more providers which I never visited .. in fact I never see any doctor during my entire process ..Beware. The PA was nice, but the office staff in general were never helpful. You will find it difficult to work with insurance and even paying this bill with this practice unlike another practice. The staff never respond properly without to record release, and don’t wait in a call back because they won’t. More options than IVF were offered when visiting another practice which makes sense when you understand the circumstances…just surprised this practice wanted to go straight to the expensive option without trying to treat the root cause. If you get and lab work or procedures…make sure to get a copy immediately because you are apparently supposed to ask for pictures or images or they do t keep the record. Makes it wonderful for when you need to transfer care to another practice. This comes across as predatory seeing how insurance has limitations on certain procedures. I’m writing this after having left and receiving a kinder experience that treated root cause, so take it how you will.

It’s a busy place but they make every effort to work with you and answer all questions. Ann Morris, PA-C was my provider and performed most procedures. She was fantastic, empathetic, and worked with me. When I was very early in my pregnancy, I had some scary symptoms over the weekend and panicked. I’m all for receiving a direct and honest assessment of my medical information, but he lacks tact and the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Your fertility journey should be surrounded by a medical staff that is respectful and Dr. Whelan is not it. Don’t believe me look at their SART numbers for their success rates and the other reviewers comments on all platforms, we all can’t be providing inaccurate information. I give it one star because there is no way to give it 0, my experience with this clinic was terrible, when I did my interview with Dr Katz and he told me that the IUI would be around 1062.00. But they sent my blood to another clinic which cost me 1845.00 in just 1 day and they also did the genetic test without my permission to charge me more, I had made it clear that if it was expensive I wouldnt do the IUI because I had other options. My husband spent more than 6 thousand and I didnt get pregnant, apart from the stress that every time I had to do the IUI they called me at the last minute, I had to leave my job without time to explain. My husband drove like crazy so we could get there on time. And the second time I did it, as soon as the nurse performed the procedure of putting the semen into the egg, I immediately felt it running down my legs, leaving me wondering whether she had really done it right. This 1845.00 blood test, no one can explain to me which tests were carried out. With 6 thousand dollars I could have done in vitro in my country and then visited my family. I definitely do not recommend this clinic to anyone.I never want to hear or read that name Reach or Labcorp again.

Reach holds a special place in my heart 💜 Dr. Wing was great! When I was upset he simply asked what did I want. The entire staff took care of me. It was a journey, but I wouldn’t take anything back. I was very blessed. I found it hard to communicate over the phone but at one of my first visits I was informed to set up the portal. I had awesome communication through portal. Any questions I asked was answered. I love this place. One of the reasons I have my daughter and she is everything to me.

REACH is by far the best fertility clinic in Charlotte.I have been a patient at REACH since last July and from the beginning to a healthy, growing baby at almost 10 weeks, the support I have received from all of the staff has been tremendous. From testing, procedures, ultrasounds and bloodwork, I felt like a patient with individual needs and treated with the utmost respect and kindness.Taylor Holt and Grace Perez, the practices PAs, have been fabulous throughout my entire process. I went through one round of induced ovulation and after trying naturally after that round of treatment, I miraculously became pregnant. REACH saw me every week after I found out I conceived, and the weekly ultrasounds, check ups, and guidance in my early pregnancy has been nothing short of amazing. If you are considering fertility guidance or treatment, REACH is the place to go!

If you desire a personalized, client centric facility then REACH is not for you. They herd people in and out all morning with very little bedside manor. Their nursing staff relies heavily on the messaging portal and rarely provide more than a one sentence explanation for anything. My initial doctor quit midway through my process and all I received was a short email a few days prior to her departure. After she left NO ONE even thought to schedule a conversation with me to before just reassigning me to another doctor. Fast forward weeks later I had to reach out to even request an appointment with the new doctor. If you have the option to choose another facility over REACH do it! This is a hard process. The last thing you need is a sh!tty office adding more stress to your life.

On the day they did IUI also I asked one lady “are you doctor “Nope 🤨 she is also nurse .. 🤷‍♀️One attempt is failed. During this entire process I did not see the doctors.I think we need to report to some authorities to figure it out what’s going on hereIf I am not wrong all the good reviews are not by patients.

I, like many many others, disregarded the poor reviews and decided to give REACH a chance in my infertility journey. Do not walk away from this clinic, but RUN! The second I began as a patient, it has been nothing short of miserable and stressful. After our initial consultation with the Dr, I was instructed to go to the clinic the next morning for bloodwork and ultrasound. When I showed up, there was no record of me being scheduled. There was no communication about a patient portal or even a long-term plan. From there, it was just stress and more stress, which is sad considering stress is the last thing you should be under while undergoing these treatments. Shame on you, REACH, for being the source of the stress!I have seen my Dr. ONCE during 2 IUI cycles. No one has ever discussed a long-term plan. The billing team is awful too. They dropped the ball and didnt collect PRE-PAYMENT (yes, thatss right. You PREPAY for a service) and then threatened me with delay of treatment if I didnt pay right away. Not to mention, there is no invoice. They send you the amount you owe in an email, with no breakdown. Good luck getting an itemized invoice to submit to your insurance.I would advise anyone to seek treatment elsewhere, which is what we are doing.UPDATE: My husband and I did get pregnant from our 2nd IUI cycle, but still cant justify anything other than a 1 star, as we are STILL doing with issues with this place. After becoming pregnant, you stay with REACH for a couple additional appointments. To start, my husband and I went in for an ultrasound on week 7. When we came back on week 9, I asked the nurse if this was the last appointment before going to my OB. She said Well, you are 7 weeks, so you will probably come back here one more time. I said No, Im 9 weeks. She giggles and said Oh, they must have just copied the information from your last chart.Currently, we are dealing with a billing issue. I cannot stress enough to ALWAYS check your bills from them. We prepaid for the IUI cycle, but the most recent bill that was sent to me had an additional IUI charge that should have been covered in the prepayment. We were also charged for a visit that never occurred. We were out of town when my 2nd HCG test was supposed to occur, so I had to find a Labcorp, WHO I PAID, to do my test. The billing team included that visit in their bill (which they had already submitted to my insurance), upwards of $300, and then told me I needed to submit my Labcorp receipt to prove I didnt get treatment at Reach.

The positive reviews must be from bots, employees and employees family members. They do not treat you like a human. You are a number. I was with them for 8 months and never saw a Doctor once. They messed up on of my initial fertility tests which cost me a month as every test is based on your cycle. They had the audacity to charge me for the procedure a second time even though it was needed due to their error. I called their financial department 6x to try to get this corrected and never heard back. Thank God the Womens Institute at Atrium Health who I had been waitlisted with called with a cancellation and I was able to go there for my care. I was about ready to give up on having a baby. I cried leaving REACH every visit feeling like worthless cattle. At the Women’s Institute I have felt like a human every moment of every appointment. REACH crushes peoples dreams. They should be shut down by the Better Business Bureau.

I started going to REACH in early 2020 after years of struggling with secondary infertility. After all of the initial testing, it was determined my tubes were blocked. It was very robotic and systematic the way testing and lab work go... no personal care or compassion. Just very dry. After discovering my tubes were blocked we proceeded with a procedure to open them up and another procedure to remove polyps from my uterus. I asked if I could have the polyp removal at my regular OBGYN so it wouldn’t be filed under my very small infertility benefit and was told no... so that took up half of my insurance for infertility when in fact, I could have done that procedure through my regular doctor and it wouldn’t of counted towards my infertility insurance. I was told in the beginning of the process that someone from the financial department would reach out to me to discuss costs and insurance but no one EVER did. I just got a big fat bill in the mail and I had to make several calls just to get in touch with someone to set up a payment plan.Once my procedures were complete, I left the hospital and no one ever called to follow up and see how I was healing.... now, nearly a year later I haven’t heard a word from REACH. They never followed up to see if the procedures worked... aka resulted in a pregnancy. Never followed up to see if I would need additional procedures. Nothing. Took my money and never heard a thing.I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone going through the hardships of infertility. You are just a number to them.

Very few nurses have compassion about the subject of infertility here! During the course of my treatment, there was several areas of miscommunication and overlooking of medical records. One nurse Becky told me “ are you sure you want to try this treatment, I don’t want you to waste your time “ also Earlier that day during labs I came in to get labs she greeted me “ alright, take off your pants and hop on the table you know the drill don’t ya” - little compassion and empathy. For my IUI I did not see the Doctor I have been working with all this time not once- nor did I get a follow up call/portal message from her. Dr. Johnson is great however, the strutted of this facility is very disorganized even down to billing. Also, poor communication with treatment instructions and expectations of course of treatment. I truly felt like a number and dollar sign here- but there are a few nurses who were kind and helpful. I tried to share my concerns about my experience however the Nursing Administrator took 2.5 weeks to return my phone call, at that point I didn’t want to rehash old feelings.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Reach! Over the last 6 months undergoing IVF, the entire staff at Reach was so kind and supportive. Over many visits, I interacted with multiple nurses and lab staff who made me feel comfortable each and every time. My main provider, Taylor Holt, is a rockstar. She answered every question I had, was so kind and genuinely excited for each of our small wins along the way. I say we because I truly felt like she was in this with us, she wanted everything to be perfect before our FET and even advised us strategically on family planning. This process requires a ton of communication and instructions, I found the process of using the portal so easy, and I never waited long for a response back from the care team and all instructions were clear. I had a small scare with some bleeding and the nurse who wrote me back (quickly) eased all of my concerns and I was able to breathe again. Please be warned that this process is not inexpensive. The financial office does warn you IN ADVANCE that many services are likely not covered - heed the warning as it is beyond their control. I promise you that every penny spent is worth the sacrifice. At the very least, you will walk away with peace of mind. Thanks to all the providers at REACH (most of all Dr. Lauren Johnson and her staff), my husband and I brought home a beautiful baby boy 17 months ago and plan to bring a baby girl into this world in a few short months. I will be 39 when this baby is born, and the providers at REACH make me feel completely confident I can do it. I had a very poor experience at a different clinic in Charlotte which I will not mention, but trust me when I tell you this group gets it right. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with the process. We both started with getting blood and other tests done to see if we were both able to carry at some point in our lives. We decided that I would go first and my wife would carry our second child down the line.REACH was the most recommended fertility clinic in our area and I can understand why. We went through the process and got pregnant very quickly. Im three months now with no problems. Despite being the most-recommended clinic in our area we did have some complaints. The staff that was in charge of getting test results to us, filling us in on medicines we were going to be taking, and responding to our portals messages were not very responsive and sometimes seemed annoyed that we had reached out. It felt a lot like we were on our own for large swaths of time. We werent told what some of our test results meant for us. Medicine I got after being inseminated had different instructions on the bottle than what they wanted us to do, but we were never told how often I should be taking it.They did a good job for the most part, but when you going through one of the most intense and nerve-wracking moments of our lives we would have liked a little more interaction from the medical staff. However, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Holt and Simone! Simone was very sweet and excited for us, which made for a heartwarming ultrasound.I also have to mention how amazing they were with Covid protocols. Not once did I feel uncomfortable for my health by attending in person visits. If you choose REACH I highly recommend seeing Dr. Holt! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The level of care and bedside manner of the doctors (not the staff, they are lovely) is atrocious. You are treated like cattle with the appointment process and you are rushed through. The front desk is incredibly rude as well. You have to advocate for yourself with the doctors in getting tests and in trying new things. I was pumped full of meds with no embryos to show for it and was told after 2 cycles of the madness, that I should just give up on having any good eggs or producing embryos. Please have a look at their low success rates on SART before you consider going here. I wish I hadn’t basically taken a torch to over 30k out of my own pocket. Needless to say, I switched clinics and had a successful set of rounds resulting in the genetically normal embryos REACH said I’d never be able to have.

Infertility is a terrible experience for anyone going through it. Thanks to REACH’s team, this struggle has been made easier thanks to some fantastic team members.I cannot say enough good things about the professional and knowledgeable approach that Dr Crain and Dr Wing have taken for me. They have so much experience in the fertility world and you can “hear” that when they speak.Nicole, Sue and Amy, who are located at the Langtree location are amongst the best. They always take time to speak to you and treat you more than a number, especially in the middle of a pandemic when socially distancing and masked faces are the norm. Their friendly demeanor always eases my nervous disposition.I would have such anxiety about blood draws but the REACH team knows exactly what they are doing. With the addition of the new blood draw nurse at Langtree (sorry I don’t know your name), there is much relief coming there for those reoccurring draws. This past Monday I went to the downtown location and had an amazing experience with Symone. The locations was slammed that day. She had already taken at least 20 folks before me and there were that many in the waiting room. But I never once felt rushed. She complemented my necklace and talked with me about being nervous for my upcoming cycle. She had such a positive and friendly demeanor. She takes her job very seriously and resonates compassion.Though this is a journey I never expected, so many of the REACH team members have been a bright light in this trying time. I’m thankful to have found such a wonderful clinic.

We were able to talk with the Embryologist, she walked us through the process and explained how she would perform the procedure. Every step of the way, we felt comfortable, safe and secure. We were in great hands. Not to mention that my voicemails and emails were always returned the same day.My one complaint is the finance department (why I cant give 5 stars). Theyre not informed and are not helpful. After our treatment plan had been delayed for a few weeks, I received a phone call from one of the financial workers who wanted payment for the round of IVF. I told her that I wasnt paying yet, since I had another issue arise before we could start the cycle. She wasnt caring or compassionate. Just said she would call the next day to collect payment. My word to the finance staff: Be kind. This is a really tough time for couples and you should be more aware of that. Your bedside manner is extremely lacking. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is for the wonderful staff at the Langtree office: Nicole, Amy, and Jaycee. All three ladies were such a joy to be around. They were all friendly, knowledgeable, patient and tried their hardest to make this difficult and stressful experience as easy as possible. They answered my 100000 x 100000 questions and always had a smile on their faces. At the Morehead Location:1. The front desk/check-in staff at the main office was rude, inconsiderate and seemed as though they wanted to be anywhere else but there. Even after saying good morning and attempting to make small chit chat, I realized neither of the ladies wanted to talk. I attempted to ask questions, since it was my first time there, and I was told your Langtree team can answer those questions since thats where you shouldve went today......considering all communication about appointments, treatments, lab results etc. is done through email- excuse me for coming to this office instead of the Langtree office.2. The atmosphere and bedside manner made me regret my decision for choosing REACH. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, I felt like a number vs. a person.3. Speaking to Dianne in the finance department was probably the worst part of the entire experience. It was difficult to get in contact with her and when I did talk to her- it was unpleasant. It seemed like she was annoyed because we asked so many questions and didnt understand some of the logistics of the process. One conversation in particular upset my husband so bad, he walked out the room- while asking questions, she took a deep sigh and said so you still dont get it?? I looked past that ignorant comment because I was trying to focus on the bigger picture. NOW.....here we are 4 months later and REACH is still trying to correct mistakes from my account. My insurance company was billed for things they should not have been billed AFTER they (REACH) had already been paid.4. After my husband and I were emailed and told our pregnancy results- I have not heard from anyone. I thought they would follow-up to check on us, provide follow-up resources...something, but nothing! They got the money and disappeared. If my husband and I decided to go this route again, we definitely would not consider using REACH (although the Langtree office was amazing!).

They really arent as horrible as most reviews here...for the most part. Ill start off by saying that I do have a baby and some frozen embryos because of REACH so obviously thats good! Overall, you definitely are more of a number here than other clinics HOWEVER the benefit of going to such a large clinic is that they are open 365 days a year and everything revolves around your personal cycle. This is so important when doing IVF.Starting with clinical... I had Dr. Lauren Johnson. She was not my favorite doctor ever but I also dont really have anything negative to say about her. We had male factor infertility and I think she just wasnt very good at explaining treatment options for that. She maybe does better with the female issues?? Her nurse, Julia, was FANTASTIC. So helpful anytime I sent messages and questions through the portal. Never seemed annoyed by me and was so helpful in getting my medications approved through insurance (had to submit a couple of appeals). The front office staff is not super friendly but all the nurses I worked with during appointments were always nice. Good experiences during my retrieval and both FETs. Dr. Whelan did my retrieval and he was very thorough.Onto insurance and billing. I could write an entire book on how messed up it all is. Super long stories a little shorter..... First, they told me my HSG was covered 100% by my insurance because it was diagnostic. After it was done, I got a bill. I call insurance and they say REACH billed it as a surgery as it could be billed as a surgery OR as diagnostic. I call REACH and tell them they need to re-bill insurance as diagnostic so that its covered. They then told me that they wouldnt because they always bill it as surgical. Then why did they originally tell me it was covered 100% as a diagnostic procedure?!?! Also, it WAS diagnostic because they are checking to see if your tubes are blocked. It in no way meets any definition of a surgery. Moral of the story, get codes for everything ahead of time and call your ins yourself to double check.Second, you have to pay for everything before its done. No big deal. Except that after your procedure, they will send you a bill for it. EVEN THOUGH YOU COULDNT HAVE HAD THE PROCEDURE IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU DIDNT ALREADY PAY FOR IT. If I wasnt paying attention and just paid bills as they came, I would have double paid for sooooo many things. And its not like they were billing me for something insurance unexpectedly didnt cover. It was a bill for what I already paid. The communication between the clinic and the billing office is atrocious.Third, the billing and insurance ladies in general are so hard to work with. They rarely return phone calls and cant answer many questions. I was in the unique position of choosing between a few insurance companies that covered IVF. One of the ladies refused to give me multiple estimates based on the different ins companies even though I had all of the information she needed. A merciful other lady was able to give me 2 estimates in less than 5 min with the info I brought it. I was very grateful she bent the rules for me. Like, why cant you give me multiple estimates if I have all the info you need to give me the estimates? Im spending thousands of dollars and just want to make the most of my money and you cant take a couple extra minutes to help me out...when thats your job?!Overall, my main complaints are regarding billing. My experiences with the staff were good and while it is difficult to ever get anyone on the phone, I usually received prompt replies when I used their patient portal online. I went with REACH because of their office located in Mooresville where I could do some of the monitoring appts. Convenience reigns supreme. We will go back there in a couple of years to transfer our remaining embryos.

Fertility treatments are one of the most emotional processes you could imagine. I understand so many negative reviews, only because not getting the result you want can be devastating, but it’s not for lack of effort with this facility. Dr. Lauren Johnson and her staff including Becky live and breathe to get each of their patients pregnant with their miracle baby. We never felt for a moment that we weren’t a priority and they go above and behind to offer genetic testing and every avenue to ensure you are getting the most optimal chance for success possible. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It is the patients responsibility to know what is covered and what is not covered under your insurance. They are only there for support. It is common knowledge that many healthcare plans don’t cover infertility. YOU have to be the one who confirms with your insurance what will be covered and what won’t. Diane will only give you approximately what things may cost if your insurance picks it up vs if it doesn’t. You then need to call your insurance company and confirm. This is the case with ANY specialized medical care. Most negative reviews I’ve come across are regarding the billing. It’s like any other medication process... it is your responsibility to know what is covered and what is not. They definitely don’t hold your hand through that process compared to other centers from my experience but for me I’d rather select a doctor based on their success rate rather than their billing dept. That being said, I can not recommend REACH enough! I had an absolutely amazing experience going through IVF here with Dr. Katz. He is truly amazing and so is the rest of the team here. From the nurses to the PAs to the front desk staff. They were all amazing to work with.As for my experience with Dr. Katz, I met with him a whole year prior to starting IVF. I had a lot of reservations and fears. He took the time to sit down with me to talk, cry and talk some more. I ended up coming back on two different occasions plus had a phone call with him just to ensure all my questions were answered. They did a ton of personalized testing and stayed in communication with me. Then I came in for my final protocol appointment and I spent about an hour with his IVF nurse with my partner going over all the medication. From my egg retrieval to the transfer, the whole process was extremely smooth and their support throughout the process was amazing. I can not recommend REACH enough!

I absolutely loved my time there as much as possible given the circumstances of needing fertility help. It’s a very complicated and expensive process and the staff did a great job of helping my husband and I though it. They did a thorough check on both of us, and found what the problem was. They gave us our options in a matter of fact way without steering us in any direction. We chose to go through IVF, and because it’s such a complicated process, they gave us a brief overview and then while we went through it, they gave us more details as we got to each step.My only complaint is that for blood work and ultrasound, which you do every couple of days when you are working to grow the eggs before you retrieve them, you go in at 7 AM with everyone else who is doing the same thing. So you have to wait in line, but I was usually out by 8 AM so I didn’t miss too much work. The whole process was pretty easy, just a lot of steps. I thought they communicated well and answered my questions fully and in a timely manner. After I got pregnant with their help, I had a couple of follow up appointments to make sure everything looked good before sending me to my OB GYN for normal prenatal visits. I am quite sad that we have to find a new clinic since we have moved to a different state.

Doctors and nurses are great - billing department is an absolute joke. I would easily give REACH 5 stars for their doctors, but I have to grade based on the overall experience as a whole.First of all, getting a hold of someone at the office is basically impossible. If you have a simple question, or concern you cant just call up and ask them. You have to do it through a web portal, which is really obnoxious if its a simple question. Anybody who goes through fertility issues is understandably anxious and stressed to begin with, but to have that added stress and frustration is counter-productive.Second, the billing department is flat out terrible. Like terrible customer service, terrible billing system software, and one particularly terrible employee. If you talk to ANYBODY who has dealt with REACH in the past, they have AT LEAST one story about how REACH screwed up their billing.MANY times we would get billed for something that was paid for and MANY times we would have to call up to get it corrected. After you FINALLY get to talk to a human being, you are treated like you are some idiot who doesnt know how the internet works, and is automatically in the wrong. After that first battle ends the war continues on. Next, you have to turn into some kind of private detective to point out and prove that THEY were wrong (which for us was 100% of the time). NOT ANNOYING AT ALL.I mean weve only dropped TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and went through YEARS of mental and physical anguish to get to this point, but yes, lets make a terribly difficult and exhausting experience that much more terrible, difficult, and exhausting. To wrap up, I have to say that even though we loved our doctors and nurses, we wouldnt recommend REACH to anybody we know just based on the experiences with billing, which is sad. It is something they could fix with new software, and ideally, new people answering the phones. We have 1 embryo left and we will be taking it elsewhere to hopefully have our second child.Hopefully this helps a couple dealing with fertility issues make an educated decision. And, hopefully REACH recognizes that they only have 3.0 stars on google because of their billing department and an employee in that department.

Im giving this two stars because the procedure I underwent was very well handled and everyone I spoke to on that day was understanding and kind. To start, after checking my insurance and seeing that Id met my maximum out of pocket for the year, they told me what I owed and requested that I pay it prior to the procedure. I did pay and received a receipt that I still have. 6 MONTHS later, I receive a bill from REACH. I call and the lady I talked to was quite possibly the rudest person Ive ever dealt with on the phone. I told her that I had a receipt from already having paid the bill and she promptly told me shed look in to it and call me back. No phone call back. A month later, I receive another bill complete with the threat that its going to go to collections. Im on my next round of phone calls and wont be as nice this time.

Nice people, but incompetent and lacking patient-centric care. They fail to realize that every patient is not a medical professional and continuously miss basic education opportunities. The just-in-time approach they use regarding educational materials and medications adds unnecessary and additional stress to an already stressful process. Billing doesnt follow through effectively and werent good navigators with my insurance company. I would not recommend them until they overhaul their operations. I would have switched if I had the luxury of time to get services. Still dealing with the consequences of using them.

Dont be fooled by the few and far between positive reviews. We gave them two chances and they lived up to their expectations based on the negative reviews both times. The first time we started using them we were hopeful as we got in for a consult rather quickly. However when it came to them calling us back with test results, or even uploading them to the portal- apparently thats too much work for them. Scheduling appointments? Ive had more luck winning radio station contests on a rotary phone by being caller #103. After a miscarriage we wanted to start the process back with them again. They got us in for another consult fairly quickly, but when it comes to anything else- good luck. They dont answer the phone, and consider yourself lucky if they call you back. The portal? Thats an even bigger joke than the phone. I messaged over two weeks ago asking for something as simple as my estimated costs for procedures. They are pushing IVF and I dont really want to start that blindly without knowing the cost. No, the problem isnt processing it through my insurance- I dont work in billing and I already know its NOT covered through insurance, so we are trying to plan for our costs. As if struggling with infertility isnt stressful enough REACH really knows how to go out of their way to stress you out even more because youre completely in limbo and have no idea whats going on.... so thank you REACH for FURTHER delaying our dreams of parenthood because now we have to wait to get our consult with a different fertility clinic and start this process all over again. You should be ashamed of yourselves for your lack of care or compassion for people in horrible situations.I’ll also note- if you’re not ready to do IVF and fatten their wallet- they don’t want to help you. That’s even more clear by all the positive reviews being IVF patients. They PUSH IVF on you whether it’s the right treatment for you or not and unless you’re paying them for IVF you’re hearded through the their office like cattle and there is no such thing as personal care or attention. Now that I’m using another clinic- they have done the MOST basic treatment of stimulating ovulation for me and it’s made a difference. REACH Never once even offered that as an option, they just jumped to IVF so they could make more money.

I have held off writing this review for a really long time. But, I really want this to be a warning for anyone who is seeking fertility treatment: The good reviews are few and far between. There is a reason. The lack of communication, the antiquated procedures, the older equipment and the out-dated process makes it difficult for anyone with a complex case to receive proper care. Often times, the accountability is placed back on the patient to receive quality care. It becomes a full-time job. Find a clinic that will hold your hand, comfort you in a time of need and fight for you. This is not the place.

Reach was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Mostly the part where they lead you to believe that your insurance will cover most of the IVF and that you won’t be paying “anymore” but then to find out I’m up to 7k into it. Very misleading. I advise, if you think insurance will cover the procedure to triple check with insurance, do not believe Reach. The financial department is a joke. They were very persuasive when they said my insurance covered up to 40k in fertility but failed to mention how much is not covered. Also, you have to communicate through the portal. For something so complicated and stressful and expensive you’d think they’d have someone to guide you through it. I felt so alone and and In the dark the whole way.The only positive thing I can say is the receptionist was outstanding. Very happy and personable. The place is ran horribly for as much money they take. Do not go here, do your research. I wish I had. Their reviews are not good.

This is my first negative review Ive ever written. Unfortunately I feel compelled to write it in case there are other women that find themselves in the same situation. From start to finish our experience with REACH has been awful. From the receptionists, to the financial department, to the doctor, every time we stepped foot in that building we felt as though we just entered an assembly line. With absolutely zero personalized treatment plan we chugged through 6 failed IUIs with little to no explanation as to why things werent going well and no changes were made. Every time I posed a question to our team it wasnt even acknowledged let alone answered. So, if you dont connect with the place on your first impression - go somewhere else. If you feel like youre on an assembly line - go somewhere else. If youre well into your plan and things arent going the way youd hoped and you arent getting the care you deserve - go somewhere else. And dont ever expect to speak with anyone when you call or get an explanation for the bills you randomly receive in the mail because it wont happen. After spending many thousands of dollars with REACH I am pretty sure not a single person in that place knows me or my partner by name, or even by face. Its sad and unacceptable to me. I just hope this message serves as a warning for others that go into this exciting endeavor with so much hope! If I were you, Id never even consider this place.

I hate writing reviews, but I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know about my experience with Reach. First of all me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for about 2 years now. When I had my first appointment of course we were excited, we had to do blood work, genetic testing, and I guess it was a vaginal exam. I had my first virtual visit with Dr. Whelan a few months later he told me I had PCOS and went over my blood work. He was just blah....For a whole year all I did was blood work and he kept telling me to work on getting my PCOS under control, he started me on Metformin and birth control (which I wasnt happy about) but supposedly the birth control was only going to be a few months. I changed my diet and made some life style changes. After seeing the results on my blood work about 2 months later I just knew he was going to stop the BC and we would move into treatments. Nope he kept me on BC, so at the end of the year we decided to stop the BC and get a second opinion. Since starting at Reproductive Specialist of Carolinas I have nothing but positive things to say. My first visit with the doctor was amazing, she explained everything in detail from treatment options, prescribed prenatal vitamins, resources, test and she was very personal. I never felt that way at Reach you are just a number to them. Within 2 months after completing the HSG test we found out both of my fallopian tubes are blocked and discussing treatments. I was so upset because I felt like we wasted a whole year and had Dr. Whelan cared enough to even consider the HSG test we would probably be pregnant by now. I wouldnt recommend Reach if you are looking for a fertility clinic that understands the delicacy of infertility.

It is funny that they continued to send bills, some of which were wrong. Several months have passed since my fourth and final email, trying to schedule our next step. It is embarrassing how disorganized they are. You would think as aggressive as their billing department is, their scheduling department would be equally determined for more billing opportunities. Instead, we will look for another office — what a waste of time, energy, and money.

I looked at some reviews and thought Id give reach a try, only because everyone has their own opinion. Today I had an appointment with Dr. Matrika. Before I began I have to say the customer service was good!. After they called me to the back to discuss all the paperwork, get vital signs, I sat in this waiting area in the back waiting to see the doctor.. When the dr came around to get me, she just kind of stared at me from head to toe as if I didnt belong there.(I must admit I had on regular workout attire, because thats where I was going after I left) okay, but lets get back on track... the dr takes me in the office or whatever you wanna call it, to ask me questions, that my medical records wouldve answered IF she reviewed that. She was talking in medical terms, that I couldnt understand,& I could feel aggravation when I did ask what does that mean?. There was no empathy, sympathy, nothing. So of course after she had this brief conversation she order boo-coos of lab work (17 tubes) long story short, I cancelled my lab work and future appointments with reach, i would never go back to this place, I didnt feel comfortable one bit... Good luck to all of you, & may God bless us!!***2021 Update**After 8 years I decided to give REACH another chance and scheduled a consultation with a different RE, Dr. Whelan. Now I ask myself why did I do that?? He presents himself well over the phone UNTIL you meet him in-person. I was super excited about my in-office appt. that was scheduled only to be let down AGAIN! The day of my appointment I went in for labs and was sent to the second floor for labs to be taken. As I get off of the elevator where other patients are standing close together waiting for their labs. Oh, and NO ONE was 6 ft apart and some patients took their mask off while waiting. Well, when I was called back for my labs by Terry it got even worse. She was rushy, she threw 2 tubes of my blood away, she flicked my arm to get a vein so that she could draw blood AND I was charged for labs that were NEVER taken but was able to get them removed. So after I went back downstairs from giving labs that were thrown in the trash, I was called to the back by Dr. Whelans assistant. During my visit with Dr. Whelan he was providing information regarding my visit, I asked 1 question based off of the information he had provided me only to be told I have a patient waiting for me in surgery ,we can discuss that another time and he leaves the room. I may have said it politely than he did Im sure... Im now with Dr. Katz at REACH and cant wait to speak with him soon regarding our game plan :) I will provide another update on my upcoming appointments. But I think its only fair that I share my experience so no one else has to experience this during their journey.3rd update ***Unfortunately, I did not proceed with REACH and I am know seeing a new specialist (so glad I did!)

I had nothing but wonderful experiences with really everyone I came into contact with at Reach. The front desk was always great, the NP Madison was so sweet. All of the other doctors (which was basically everyone as we went through a lot there) were all excellent as well. The lab staff was prompt with updates. My wife and I resorted to REACH after an Ectopic Pregnancy in September of 2018. Considering the emotional stress that we had already been through, we thought we were making a good decision by relying on the help at REACH. Our first appointment was with a financial adviser Dianne in the Charlotte location. She gave us a breakdown of all costs for the procedure we would need. The cost was very straight forward and was to be paid before each procedure. Each month before the scheduled procedure Dianne would call and I would pay in full the total cost. Third month we are in treatment we receive a bill in the mail from REACH. As you could imagine we were skeptical about the bill due to the fact that we were to pay in full before each procedure every month. How could we possibly owe them anything more. There were no added appointments or services. At no time did anyone ever say that we will need to add additional testing and no appointments were added. I have contacted the billing department, Dianne the financial adviser, Dr. Katz assistant and a nurse on there team and no one can tell use why we have this outstanding charge. We have also been waiting for a call from the location manager for now over 2 months. Yesterday we received a collection letter from a collection agency. It is absolutely sickening that they allow issues like this to continue. Women are in a very fragile state when experiencing fertility issues. For a company that has been quote providing infertility treatment since 1988 should by now be able to have a devoted financial department that can handle these issue. Instead they ignore you and send you to a collection agency. Besides the financial issues we had also encountered issue with the treatment received. During our second month in treatment with Reach my wife went in for an ultrasound. She came home upset and in discomfort for days after what she described as a terrible experience. The lady that performed the ultrasound was in training. My wife called and talked to Dr. Katz personally and he apologized and said that he personally would be doing her next ultrasound and if for any reason he was not available he would have another partner Dr.Wing completed the ultrasound. If you can believe it the next ultrasound, not even two weeks after. She gets yet again someone else training. This alone is ridiculous. Another conversation my wife had with Dr. Katz was regarding the sperm count that they would like to see when performing an IUI. In this conversation he said that for the IUI procedure they would use no less than 10 million. Before I start this I want you to know that we have banked plenty of sperm. In April when my wife went into the office for our third IUI procedure the nurse came in and had my wife verify the names on the sperm, she then asked the nurse what the count was on this sample. The count was less than 9 million. When she asked the nurse why it was so low, the nurse stated that this is what Dr. Katz ordered. While weeks ago he mention to my wife that he would not completed a IUI with less than 10 million. My wife mentioned this conversion with Dr. Katz to the nurse and the nurse left the room and returning to say that they will prep more sperm for this IUI. WHY would they not do this in the first place, considering we had plenty stored. Dr. Katz never ordered that amount and for all we know he probably was not even there. These are just a few instances of dissatisfaction that we occurred while in the care of REACH. It is clear that number mean more to them. We saw Dr. Katz at our consultation and that was it. Why with this and other reviews would anyone ever seek treatment here. I can tell you the only reason why we ended up at REACH is because they would get us in sooner than any other Endocrinology office in Charlotte. They were able to get us in the following week and we now know why. I suggest anyone searching for help to please look elsewhere. We will never recommend this establishment to anyone. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Johnson. She answered all of our questions and we received scheduling for diagnostic testing and follow up results within 1 week of initial appointment. A lot of the negative feedback on this clinic, I believe, is due to being unprepared to take aggressive action towards your own treatment. I always asked whats the soonest dates/results were and kept track of everything we needed to do. The staff was very understanding and did not hesitate to get back with me and never got aggravated with me when I asked the same question more than once. I love their patient portal, I get the fastest response using that tool. If I do call in, using my chart number, to me, is not offensive or an inconvenience. I dont often write reviews for places but I felt this time I needed to speak up. My first patient visit went fairly well until I got home and read over the paperwork they provided and realized the Dr. was ordering us to do expensive procedures right off the bat without even outlining or explaining it to my husband and I. Then when I called back for clarification, I found out the only way to talk to the doctor directly was to make another appointment. After three attempts to reach the financial department about how much these procedures would cost, I finally got an answer and payment is due before treatment. Who has that kinda of cash just laying around? When the doctor knew she wanted us to start off with these procedures they should have sent us over to a financial counselor right them. They know that insurance does not cover most fertility so they should be more up front about how much it might cost. When I finally had things worked out with the nurse about getting our testing done first and then seeing what procedures we needed, I went to set up the appointments for our preliminary tests. I got the run around but was told by my nurse they would set up my appointments when the lab tech came back from vacation, this was on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Next thing I know I get an over-nighted letter stating they were discharging me from the practice with no explanation as to why. I have been diagnosed with anxiety so I am assuming they just dont know how to handle patients that may need a little extra attention. Fertility treatment in itself can cause anxiety so they should be used to patients being nervous. They were very unprofessional and unorganized. Just doing something simple as making an appointment turned into a three day ordeal of phone tag. I hope my review helps other women out there so this will not happen to them. It has taken me almost two months to calm down after our experience with REACH. I did not want to write an angry review fueled by my emotions. Finally, I am ready to share the facts about my experience to those that are really going to need it.1. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and friendly until they receive your loan. Once they receive the money from your loan, do not expect any of your calls or emails to be returned. (The way it works there is every procedure must be paid for up front. Unfortunately our insurance does not cover anything related to fertility, so after talking to our financial counselor and determining how much we would need we decided a loan was in our best interest. The loan they tell you to apply for goes straight to REACH.)2. If you go the loan route, I recommend taking out a personal loan, even through the same company ( for example, the lending club) so that way you are in control over how much money REACH receives. Before you pay them a dime ask for itemized bills. Otherwise, you take out this loan for a few thousand and the office stops communicating with you. There is no way to know what each service is costing. Do not bother asking anyone other the financial counselor what the services cost because no one seems to have a clue. We were told by our financial counselor that the IUI and monitoring/testing included was one flat rate which was incorrect. We ended up still owing them money after the loan was used up. We were told we would have money left over and receive a check for that amount. That was also not the case. We were always told we would receive an itemized list of what our loan was covering and only received a complicated and almost cryptic ledger at the end after we threatened them with a lawyer.3. They stopped returning our calls/ emails before the IUI procedure took place. Its bad business practice to not return a client or patients messages regardless. However, this put an incredible amount of stress on me and my husband. Any amount of unnecessary stress while trying to conceive is harmful to the conception process. Our first round of IUI was unsuccessful. I am not at all surprised. My gripe isnt with the IUI not working on our first try, but with the way they treat their patients.4. During the IUI procedure itself, the young, female doctor (I decided not to include actual names after much deliberation) had trouble inserting the catheter which resulted in a lot of pain and severe cramps. She changed catheters several times, then asked for the tech to use the ultrasound to determine where it was in the uterus. The doctor then said, and I repeat verbatim, I THINK its in the right spot and completed the procedure. I dont think anything else needs to be said about that except my husband and I were shocked. We had no words.5. Over the course of several weeks trying to get in touch with someone at REACH to help us and answer our questions, my husband finally got in touch with the office manager and relayed our complaint. She apologized and recommended we email the Executive Director with our experience. It has now been almost a month, we have received no phone call or email from the Executive Director regarding our experience. Sadly, I have a feeling he gets these complaints all the time. Sadly the reviews for REACH prove that this has been an ongoing issue for several years now.REACH:My advice to you if you care about your patients at all is to become more transparent with your pricing, and respond to your patients messages in a timely manner. I have seen how busy your office can get. If you are understaffed hire more people, more competent people. Quite unfortunately, there may not be a lot of options for patients undergoing fertility treatment in the area, but hopefully this review will have helped your future patients (that have no other choice but to go to your facility) in navigating through the whole process and not letting you rob them blind.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! Martyna Pace, one of the staff members was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. As I tried to ask questions over the phone, she repeatedly cut me off and spoke over me. After I brought it to her attention, she continued the same behavior. THEN when I told her I wanted to talk to a manager instead, she started trying to apologize, saying she was just sensitive right now because she’s going through a divorce. The customer service of this staff is just horrible. They made my already stressful situation even worse! And after having read the reviews of others, I’m so glad that we did not go along with scheduling an appointment despite our experience. Seems like it would have been an ongoing headache. I don’t recommend that anyone ever go here!! Carolina Fertility has been much more helpful and accommodating.

Save yourself the emotional rollercoaster (as much as infertility patients can), the excessive expenses and the time and energy and go elsewhere!!!Dr Lauren Johnson is absolutely wonderful- a true blessing but unfortunately 1 person cannot carry an entire clinic! If I had to rate her, I would give her 5 stars but as a practice in itself, I wish I could give it zero!!!The nurses we encountered were cold and uncaring. The practice made us feel more concerned with our finances than about us as people. We waited days and days for updates and simple answers. We were given different answers from different nurses to the same questions, jerked around and brought back in for this and that with no rhyme or reason except for financial gain as we are self pay. There’s a reason they have low satisfaction ratings.Diligently research your options!!!

You get all these charges which doesn’t even match your insurance. When trying to reach them no one cares to call you back, even though u left a message a week ago. Don’t waste your time and money here not worth it. The doctors here are terrible no one cares for u or your concerns they treat you like it’s fast food restaurant. To REACH, you are a number and more money for them. You are not a person. On multiple occassions, I was left in the exam room waiting for over 30 minutes with no explanation & no one checked on me. They lied to me upfront about the costs and I have insurance that covers this. They coded one of my procedures wrong & refused to change it to match my insurance company. There is a decisive lack of bedside manner from the doctors. They dont seem to care about you as a person. There were a couple of nurses that seemed to care. The rest just dont. I could not get my phone calls returned. Its stressful enough going through this but to add the additional stress from the doctors office and billing makes it even more difficult. I would not recommend this office to any one. If you are trying to get pregnant, please consider another place that will treat you as you should be treated.

I was very, very, very concerned about going here, based on reviews. I take them very seriously. But, my insurance company sent me here, so I had to at least try. Dr. Lauren Johnson...Will be on my Christmas card list. She is awesome. Nurse Alice, awesome. Im very judgmental and usually tough to satisfy. Everyone here has been so informative, and patient, and caring since day one. Dr. Johnson has treated my husband and I very well. Now, she is the newest physician here, so perhaps that is why my review is soo different from everyone elses thus far. Plus, we have only been going here for a few months. No IVF yet, thats scheduled for next month. But, because of my experience so far, Im looking very much forward to it. I have been explained every step in the process, by the doctor and her nurse, and am so very thankful I chose her. Side note: the nurse that escorted me for one test early in the am, that isnt on my doctors team, wasnt the most outgoing, but overall, she was still okay. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. JOHNSON!

Their communication sucks! And Their interaction with patients sucks! They will run blood test after blood test and will not explain your lab results to you. Please dont get me started on their billing department. When you arrived at their front desk, the ladies in the front there looks like they dont want to be there. The loom they give people can almost make you want to run out of there. For example, my wife and I went in there for treatment and she said hello to the front desk lady, to my surprise, the front desk did not say hi back. All said was what are you here to for.

They were amazing! Only negative has been billing, I wont necessarily blame them, they give you the price of the procedure but dont go over the cost of the medications really. After we paid to do the FET we will end up spending an additional 2k-3k in just medication.

This place deserves ZERO star. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT GO HERE. Its like pulling teeth to get a hold of someone on the phone. When you go there, you will be asked to pay everything up front. They assure you that they will reimburse you later for anything the insurance pays on it. After months of being persistence and calling them out on their lies for not billing my insurance, they finally billed my insurance almost 3 months after the date of service! It begs the question why should they bother with your insurance when they already got the money from you. Dani, from the billing department is rude as well. She refused to talk to my insurance representative even though I told her that my insurance representative does not see the claim in her system. Long story short, DO NOT GO HERE. If you dont believe my words, do your research and you will find many more complaints with the phone services and the billing department. I had different tests done and procedures done by Dr. Johnson. At the end of my short/painful journey. She was very optimistic about me getting pregnant on my own, which it did happened 3 months after my last visit. Sadly I had an early miscarriage. Its been 6 months since it happened and I am just now thinking about going to REACH again. Going to an infertility doctor is scary but I was blessed with a good one. If I could give NO STARS I WOULD. I should had wrote this review sooner. First I would like to say I am grateful/blessed to have my daughter but the billing at REACH is the absolute worst .I have been going to REACH for the last 5 years. I would recommend anyone going to this place of business to PAY ATTENTION to your checkout form (ask for a copy before leaving with the charges showing). Before going to reach I consulted with my insurance (UHC) to see what was covered. Being a single parent I wanted to make sure I had enough funds to go through the process. During the 5 years of going to REACH, they have NEVER got my account correct. They would charge me for procedures that my insurance covered. Then I would have to contact UHC to get everything correct. REACH would always give me the excuse that (most insurance does not cover the procedure) and I kept telling them, I dont care about most insurance I only care about mine. Going through IVF is stressful enough without REACH sending letters saying you own this or that and if you dont pay they will report to credit bureau.REACH called me in March to say I own $180 for embryo storage. Being that I just had my baby in February I went ahead and paid since I had a lot going on. Late March I called UHC to have them refile the claim for the storage since I have coverage. This meant REACH owed me a refund. I called Dionne of REACH (office in Florida) on April 6, 10, 21 and asked for her to call me, I also emailed her on April 3rd. Never received any callback or email response. Then I called the local REACH office on April 24th and the person stated she would email Dionne. I told her that I had already tried that and never received a response. Then I called the local Reach office again on April 26th and told the same woman I hadnt heard anything. Still nothing. I told her that when you owe REACH $$ they will call you but then you are due a refund they will not return a call and I hung up. Then Dionne called me later on April 26th and said they would issue the refund and I should get in 3 weeks. I asked why had she not return my emails or VM she stated she never got anything. It is funny how when discussing via email money I owe REACH they received all emails and phone calls. The next thing I get from REACH is a certified letter saying they would be sending my records to another local dr office and that they can not help me further due to patient/ doctor relationship. ARE YOU **CKING KIDDING ME. I WOULD NOT recommend this place of business. They do not take responsibility for anything they do incorrectly regarding billing.

This is for any women who are looking for a fertility clinic. Please do not go here! I was impatient and called around to see who could get me in first. Reach was able to see me within a week which should have been a red flag. Most others were booked out 3+ months. So I scheduled and the new patient coordinator was so sweet over the phone (why I gave atleast 2 stars). I waited and hour to see Dr. Whelan who burped, yawned, and rolled his eyes during our consultation.Next I met with the financial planner. She had me get up and go close the door after I had already been seated. Then she told me to look at some pricing sheets bc my insurance didn’t cover infertility and I should think about getting a loan with my bank if I needed IVF.Considering what’s going on in the lives of the patients who are coming in, they truly need a staff with an attitude adjustment!I booked with the Womens institute and will not be returning to reach.

They don’t bill you. Instead they collect payment when you come in for follow up appointments or send you collections letters. It makes for an extremely poor customer experience when you’re checking in and they say, “Are you aware you’re have an outstanding balance?” No, because you don’t send me invoices. When I called the billing office to ask why I’m not receiving bills, they said they’ve been mailing and I should take it up with the post office. Surprisingly enough they have my address when sending me collections notices.

DO NOT GO HERE. You are just a number. They do not care about you. The communication is awful - they do not have urgency to take care of you. At times, I had to remind my doctor of medication I was on or the plan that we had decided on because she was forgetting, which was not reassuring. We did 2 failed IUIs that we paid for out of pocket and then a round of IVF that was also paid out of pocket. We had 6 embryos on day 3 & when we got the report call that day I even asked the embryologist what would be our chances of losing all embryos by day 5 just to prepare myself. He told me he would be absolutely shocked and it never happens with the odds we had with 6 embryos still going. Well, on the morning of our transfer (day 5) we got a call that we had 5 embryos left and they ALL arrested the morning of day 5. Some of them were graded differently which made no sense that they ALL arrested. The woman embryologist did not have any compassion in her voice when she told us that they all arrested, which did not help. When asked why they thought this happened, they said it was most likely a genetic issue, however my husband and I both had genetic testing done prior to our IVF (through them!) that showed nothing was wrong on our ends. Other than that, they just said it was a one off situation/bad cycle and we should try again. $20k wasted for nothing. We immediately switched clinics and did an IVF cycle with our new clinic. We had the same amount of eggs and same amount of embryos that we did with REACH and ALL of them lasted until day 5. The first one we transferred took! I am now 5 months pregnant. I called the Embryologist back at REACH to let them know the outcome with our other clinic just so they were aware and explained that I started acupuncture and also switched my diet to help and the woman embryologist told me that obviously what I did with my cycle at REACH didnt work and laughed to try and make a joke. Our new doctor at our other clinic is adamant that it was a lab error at REACH. A good lab is so important and REACH does not have that.I am so glad we got the hell out of there. Our doctor did not call to check on us once after we left the office after our failed IVF cycle. She (& no one on her team) even checked in to see if we wanted to do another cycle after they had suggested it, etc. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU - THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! RUN FROM HERE!

I am currently a patient of Dr. Katz, my husband and I have been going here since January of this year and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience for such an awful event in our lives (infertility). I have not encountered an employee who was rude or unpleasant, my calls and emails are always responded to same day or within 24 hours. And believe me, these are not just important calls and emails but also very unimportant - need reassurance calls and emails and I am always given a call or response back ASAP.Infertility is expensive, any facility that has good success rates are probably going to be expensive. We are in the Attain program and it definitely was a sticker shock for us initially but seeing the care we are getting and understanding what other people around the country are getting, I believe that Im in good hands with Dr. Katz and his team (Stephanie & Marcey). I wouldnt change a thing, I recently got my positive pregnancy test on my first attempt, Im hoping that it sticks for the long haul and know that Reach did everything and will continue to do everything in my best interest to deliver me and my husband our miracle.

I had a great overall experience at REACH with Dr. Wing as my doctor, his nursing team specifically, other nurses, the financial dept, and even the front desk girls. The only issues I ever had with them were very minor (an occasional rude nurse who ended up leaving, 2-3 billing errors which were resolved immediately as soon as I called and inquired, a couple communication errors about the nature of my appointments/insurance/Attain plan, all of which were resolved right then/there) and not big enough for me to complain or say bad things about this clinic. No place is 100% perfect and I feel that some of the lower ratings REACH has received on this site are due to nit-picky things! That being said, the care that I received there under Dr. Wing and his team (Denise, Sue, and Rose up at Langtree) was excellent and more than competent. Dr. Wing was extremely thorough in every test and procedure he recommended, and did not rush me in the entire fertility process (didnt push me into IVF until it was clear its what was needed; Once the IVF process was started, he didnt rush the process but rather took a little longer protocol in order to give me the best chances of success). When I wasnt getting pregnant initially with clomid, he changed up my medications which resulted in a pregnancy; And our first attempt at IVF was successful. Also wanted to mention that I had great experiences with the following other team members: Nurse Beth, Nurse Melissa, Nurse Diane, lab tech Andrea (Langtree), and front desk gal Christy (Langtree). Even though I was ecstatic to have a successful pregnancy, I was sad to graduate from REACH and leave the team that Id grown so attached to. Let me first state our journey was ultimately successful and I am more than thankful for that. However this company and in particular their communication is a disaster. Everything that you need to accomplish count on doing it 3 times. Their client portal is sold as a direct link to your provider...ha! Its a complete mess. Dont ever try getting someone on the phone, skip it and go bang your head on a tree! We were advised after paying to have all embryos genetically tested and one unsuccessful try (some temporarily successful)after another that they are evaluatimg whether or not to test in the future given recent results. What a joke...this came highly recommended to us and we were assured that there was no negative impact to the embryo by implementing this process. Turns out it was just another add on. We had some embryos frozen for future use. We sent their required letter months ago to discontinue and are still being charged $50 per month. After finally getting a response they claim to have never received our certified and notarized letter...SHOCKER! In closing I want to say theat Dr. Katz is a very caring person and doctor. Literally a week or two into it, we had already realized the lack of communication - lack of reaching anyone - lack of anyone ever getting back in touch with you... and when they did get in touch they never had the answers for the questions you asked. Dr. Wing isn’t the most optimistic doctor to go to for reproductive medicine. I’m a believer that with time all things are possible. His right hand nurse was pessimistic and sarcastic during our consultation. It was almost like he didn’t have confidence that I would or could get pregnant. When I walked in this facility I didn’t expected these people to be God and create a miracle. I understand that it’s not going to be easy but be compassionate, optimistic and understanding about the husband and wife wanting a healthy baby or just trying to get pregnant. We saw couples leaving out of the facility crying. Just from that we decided to discontinue our services and go with another facility. Dear Dr. Katz and the Team,Thank you so much to take us walking through the whole journey of getting pregnant, thank you for being there, thank you for being with us, you made the miracle! From the beginning consulting to whole treatment process, all you gave us is confidence in our hearts, like a lighthouse lighting us to walking through in the dark. Looking back, all what we want to say is “worth the wait”.I still remember the first time my husband and I walked into Dr. Katz office, there was fish tank, that soothed me. I told Dr. Katz “I’m from China, I checked with best IVF hospital expert in China in 2018, I only have 10-20% chance to have baby, because of the egg quality at my age. I know America has high technology, I want to challenge you”, Dr. Katz laughed out and said “I like it”, after he looked at my medical profile, he said right now might be worse, let’s check. As long as you healthy and positive, we will let you have a baby.” Those words changed my whole world!!! My husband and I walked out Dr. Katz office with whole smiles faces. After that, I started my ultrasound and blood work, and when lab results were in we met Dr. Katz again. He confirmed that my egg quality had continued to drop. We now only had 1-2% to use my own egg to have baby, but other than my egg quality, everything looked good. My husband and I want to have a healthy baby in most secured way. We decided to use donor egg. We had appointment with Stephanie, she introduced us the all listed donor egg companies. Then we started with working on searching the favorite egg donor. My husband wanted to make me feel good, so he insist on to use Chinese egg donor. Finding a Chinese egg donor was more difficult than either of us thought it was going to be. We were able to find on in a few months, but the egg thaw failed. Then COVID-19 pandemic placed the country on lock down, and we knew that will make us harder to find new Chinese egg donor. But we keep looking, and waiting for many months. We wanted to say thank you for waiting with us and keeping us encouraged during this time. Finally we found the perfect match near end of this September. You were so excited with us at that time. Then we started new treatment process. Great news! 4 out of 7 embryos are alive! I was so excited on my transfer day when I was shown the embryo picture. I had the biggest smile when he handed me the photo and said “this is very beautiful embryo”. I was also very impressed when Dr. Katz use his magician hand to transfer that embryo in my body without any pain.Over the next few weeks, the nursing team told me my labs continue to look very reassuring. I was so excited during the first ultrasound, to hear the baby’s heart beating like a little train. We are so appreciated, that means the whole a lot for our family! We know only saying thank you cannot express our gratitude. Because of you all we are able to start our family. We will make sure to keep you updated along the rest of our journey.Love you all and are so thankful for each and every one of you

We are so happy we did. Dr. Whelan and his nursing team are so great! He was very informative and thorough throughout the entire IVF process. Anytime I had any questions or concerns I always got an answer the same day from his nursing team. The IVF process is very stressful and his team made it so smooth. I am happy to say that as of today I am currently 9 weeks pregnant! I would highly recommend REACH to anyone having fertility issues!

HORRIBLE!! I got labs done here 3 weeks ago and they will not give me all of my results. They only contact you to schedule more tests but do not answer your requests for labs. They said they thought I had PCOS but were waiting for my testosterone test to confirm in the meantime tried to schedule more tests. THEY HAD RESULTS SINCE 11/24!! I just got these results today 12/14 after emailing multiple times a week. They’ve never answered the phone anytime I’ve called and they charge $150 for “referral fees” on top of the costs that they will charge you and the insurance. We have an appointment with Atrium women’s center. Prior to the appointment they send you packets of information in the mail. They also answer the phones when you call.

I will say unlike a lot of posters dr. Wheelan was professional and did talk to us like everyday people without the medical jargon. Our issue came from the billing department. When we first went we talked to the insurance lady who kept her office a mess (its a sign of professionalism and pride), she had pampers on the desk about a loan program and when we ask about the product she informs us they dont participate in that. We discuss the insurance that me and my wife have and discover my companys new insurance covers fertility treatments. After talking to my hr person shes not sure if my plan does so I spent 2 weeks tring to call this lady wit no response, so I put my wife on my insurance which raises my rate to 800 a month. When we do go back Im told they dont like working with that insurance because its inconvenient. Also when I talk to her about not returnong calls shes said she was sick over the weekend so I asked why her voice mail still said she would be out of the office untIll 12/5 and it was 12/22. From what Ive read on other reviews she has since left for being incompetent which 4 years later still makes me feel a little better. As for other reviewers posting about bad billing and bogus test Im not in a position to say that is right or wrong. We truly think the doctors did try.

I only went there for a test that my obgyn ordered. They filed my claim incorrectly and still cannot get them to correct it after multiple phone calls. and voicemails that they do not respond to. Their phone system is terrible as the options to speak to a person directly are confusing . They put you on hold for long time. On top of it all, they want you to pay in advance for a service they havent rendered. I paid them and they still billed me for it 2 months later. So I had to call them again just to find out their system hadnt registered my payment at the time the billing statement was posted. And, I am still waiting for them to correct the claim the filed wrong. AVOID using this place if you can.

I along with what looks to be a very high number of other people are very disappointed in REACH!! Long story short, on about our third visit we sat down with a financial counselor, who by the way is no longer employed because she was fired........... She supposedly called and verified that our insurance which is bluecross blueshield would cover up to 3 IUIS. After having two IUI Procedures with clomid, and injections, we received a bill almost 8 months later that stated neither IUI was covered. The first phone call into our insurance company stated that REACH doctor coded one of them wrong?? Why would he code one different than the other? Dr. Whelan was my doctor by the way. After going back and forth between the insurance company and REACH billing department we were told that they were not covered and it would be our responsibility to pay the bill. Needless to say I will not pay, and I have all paperwork and documents to back up what was presented to us by the financial counselor. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND GOING TO REACH TO ANYONE! As stressful as it is anyway to be going through infertility, it made my experience horrible to say the least!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED! THE ONLY REASON I GAVE ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WOULDNT LET ME POST OTHERWISE. I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF THAT WERE AN OPTION!

Awful follow up. We called several times (4+ and left over 5 messages on the patient portal and no one will call us back. The only call back we got was to tell us the portal appointments were going to the wrong department, and they couldn’t help us schedule it and to use the portal again. 4+ attempts and no call back. When you call it goes to voicemail every time. The last appointment we had our doctor wasn’t there and no one told us. Let alone our voicemail appointment reminder said to go to Mooresville but when we got to Mooresville they said we should be in Charlotte and that happens all of the time. These doctors and this practice suck. It is out of pocket money not insurance and they can’t schedule an appointment right, they can’t call you back, they can’t even answer the phone. This is a stressful enough time if you are at this stage to have to deal with such a poorly ran company.Go somewhere else.

I had my records transfered back to my regular OBGYN, and the doctor shared some test results that REACH did not share with me. The results were concerning my AMH levels, which is a score about your eggs. My score came back extremely low. It was so low that if the results are accurate, we cant have children of our own. While we were at REACH, I worked with Dr. Whiteside ( my main doctor) and doctor Wing who did the IUI. Our IUI was not successful even though my ultrasound showed my eggs had matured and there were cyst to support as well as bloodwork showing that I was ovulating. The success rates for a first IUI isnt that high for most people. We went into the plan knowing we might need to attempt again. We did not get pregnant with the IUI. The reason I am giving REACH 1 star is because I feel Dr. Whiteside should have communicated my AMH levels. The fact that our insurance doesnt pay for any of the medications I needed to prepare for an IUI, which was between $800-$900. Also, we only have a total of 3 IUI treatments that insurance will cover. I understand test can be inaccurate, but with my levels being below a 1 and all other test and examines being excellent, I would have liked more communication. As well as another test seeing about my AMH levels. One more bloodwork up would have been sufficient to see if the first test was accurate or not. So that we could discuss options. If AMH levels are as low as mine were, it doesnt matter how many IUIs you do, you cannot get pregnant. (There are other options donor egg or adoption. )Also, when I went to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacist shared that REACH should have not sent my prescriptions here that there is another place that my perscriptions would have been cheaper since insurance wouldnt cover any. I was very disappointed that REACH didnt do that since we communicated with them that insurance didnt cover perscriptions, and we would be paying cash.I am sure other people have had wonderful stories and havent had issues, but our time at REACH was not what it should have been for the money we or anyone is paying.I dont want to be treated like a number. I want to be treated like an individual, and I did not get that at reach.

All of the negative reviews about this place are 100% accurate!! Do not even bother and save yourself the time and money. No one wants to actually do their job and every time you call, they just send you to someone else’s voicemail and never return your calls! I have requested from 4 different people to speak to the director and I have yet to get a return phone call. Completely disorganized and zero communication from this office. What funny is that if you are an existing patient, they won’t answer the phone, but if you press the prompt on be phone as if you are a new patient then they always answer. What’s the point of getting new patients if you can’t take care of the ones you already have?! This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to and probably the most disappointing and frustrating experience I have ever had.

My wife and I had heard good things about REACH; therefore, given the difficulty we had with our first, and only, childs conception and birth, we decided to give REACH a try in the hopes that their methods would make the process easier. We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Whitesides and entered REACH with the highest of hopes for a good appointment that would put our minds at ease about our ability to conceive another child. *We left utterly angered. The first disheartening thing about our visit was when the nurse taking my wifes vitals gave us a card with a number on it and told us to make sure if we call in that we do not use our name, but rather our chart number. Upon being seated in Dr. Whitesides office, it became very apparent that he had not even bothered to review my wifes chart or medical records that had been forwarded to REACH prior to the visit at their request. Throughout the course of our consultation with Dr. Whitesides, we had to reiterate to him multiple times that we were already parents. We explained to him that we had previously tried medications such as Klumid with no results and that if he looked at our chart, we had proof of what had worked in the past. Our words, and medical records to back them up, went in one ear of Dr. Whitesides and out the other. He began by recommending an unnecessary test of my sperm to ensure I was capable of fathering children to which we replied: we have a daughter this is how we conceived her: step 1... step 2... etc.... After our explaining to him how we felt such a test was a waste of time and money, he begrudgingly agreed saying that once we got through two rounds of Klumid, **the same medication wed previous explained to him was not successful in the conception of our daughter**, the sample would be necessary for IVF anyway and I would have no choice. His next recommendation was that my wife take a dye test to ensure her tubes worked and she was capable of mothering children to which we replied: we have a daughter . He said such a test was standard and necessary even if we already had a child. It was now clear to me that his intent, and for all purposes, REACHs intent is to ensure each couple who has the misfortune of encountering a conception issue has to be burdened financially by being told that IVF is their only option. In closing, I would implore all couples that are having issues conceiving to visit Dr. Usati at the Womens Institute. She will treat you as you deserve to be treated and if you call in, youre ok to use your name, not just a chart number.

We were referred to REACH over a year ago, and opted to go through the full IVF ICSI process with Dr. Crain and his team. While the fertility process can be daunting, expensive, emotional, and disappointing, the REACH team was there to guide us and provide support along the way. My wife had frequent visits to monitor progress which gave us the opportunity to be updated on the many steps of the IVF process. It is very important for patients to follow the recommended steps by the Dr. and nurses in order to have the best chance of success. We found it convenient to talk to the Dr. and team through the REACH online portal. Dr. Crain always provided sufficient time to ask any questions about the process. We are happy to announce that just last month, my wife gave birth to a happy and healthy 8lb baby boy as a result of the successful IVF process enabled by REACH.I wish everyone success with their fertility treatments and I would definitely refer others with fertility issues to try REACH. Thank you so much to Dr. Crain and team for enabling my wife and I to have a child. Without your help, this would not have been possible.-C.J. & Jum

I am not someone who writes reviews much but if this is going to help anyone trying to conceive I must really help. I went to this facility in feb/March 2016 .As a first step to check why I was not conceiving they did a ultrasound which looked fine and ordered for HSG ( Fallopian tube) test. But while doing HSG the nurse ( 2 of them don’t remember the names ) might have not completely injected the radio dye which showed the images of my uterus to be abnormally small . Dr Crain reviewed the report n told me my uterus size is small and asked me questions that convinced me I have some underdeveloped uterus and may not conceive.Later on I moved to California , and when I met a fertility specialist here , they tried to do HSG again but they couldn’t enter the cervix at all because it was painful . They later did a hysterocopy ( HSG with anesthesia) and found that uterus was perfectly normal in size and tubes were clear. To avoid any more delay , I got my 1st IUI and now have a healthy baby 2 months old. What I am upset about is why the HSG images taken at this facility was reviewed without a doubt by the doctor. The HSG images were so wrong and unclear. They had put me to tension and worry for months when I had perfectly normal uterus and faollpain tubes.Facility needs to be more careful with diagnosis since wrong diagnosis can put patients into bad emotional state which again will affect the whole intention of fixing the fertility issue.

I would run as far as you can from here. I came in for a consultation and ended up with blood work and an ultrasound. An ultrasound that I didnt need. I already had one which is what gave me the diagnosis to come to REACH. Blood work that I DIDNT need, blood work I had just had about a month prior if even that long ago. Dont ask me on the new patient forms about all these lab results and immunizations if you are just going to run them yourself. Then they also sent blood work to an out of network company that slammed me with a $487 bill for ONE blood test. Would it not occur to someone in the billing/insurance department that maybe we should contact the patient before we send this out. I mean that is what you do for a living is it not? I spoke it the office administrator about all this, her response was dont get upset. The nice thing about the company is they will reduce the bill if you call them when you receive it. The best part of the whole thing is their lab tech told me it was ALL being sent to Lap Corp. Well that was a lie wasnt it. Also, I counted they took 14 or 15 vials of blood for lab work. Yet, Im billed for 20 labs being run. 13 vials were sent to Lap Corp, 1 sent to an out of state lab. So were do the others come into play? So what vials did they run in house if they sent them all out? Oh, then they also bill you for the ones they ran, the kicker. I never received those results. Why? My guess is because they were never done. I dont see how you ran blood work on blood you didnt have. Because again 14 or 15 vials taken, 13 sent to Lap Corp and 1 sent to an out of state lab. Which left you with no vials or just one. So what am I paying for? It took three days before I could get someone on the phone to figure this out. I would have to say they dont have their patients best interest at heart. I feel they think money grows on trees for patients and they can just rack you up a bill and your not going to question it. If I can say one thing, make sure you ask for itemized bills. See what you are truly paying for and make sure its correct. I think they just see dollar signs and vulnerable people. Do your research before you just jump right in, Carolinas Healthcare System does Reproductive Endocinology as well as other places in the surrounding area. I figured I would give them a shot despite their awful reviews. I now see the reason they have 2.8 stars.

I am out at CCRM in Colorado and only until I went there did I realize what a behind the game facility reach was. As I was not getting preg since past two months so I visited there, she suggested to go with IUI followed by clomid and Ovidrel. I have been on clomid and ovidrel and experienced many side effects including Vaginal Dryness which Dr didnt tell me this side effect untill we called and told, we are experiencing this problem . They keep on asking to have clomid and ovidrel till we told them we dont want to these medications as many side effects. They dont check first 2-3 months ovulation, egg size & semen analysis, simply they start treatment, at last they recommend Vitro Fertilization. Ovidrel and IVF causes Cancers, they hide this fact. They suggest to have regular checkups in order avoid side effect of IVF or fertility medication. We tried 4 IUIs continuously with all the medications but none helped. So please I highly recommend not to go reach fertility center and do not spend your hard earned money and mental trauma.
