My partner and I are extremely disappointed with the way this clinic has handled our situation. After scheduling an appointment a month ago, we were informed at the last minute that they are no longer providing the donor services we needed. This should have been disclosed immediately, not just days before the appointment.What’s even more concerning is their vague explanation that some donor cases are more complicating and require more time. This statement made us feel that, as a homosexual couple, our case was considered more difficult or less important to handle. It comes across as discriminatory, and we were left feeling unwelcome and disrespected.The clinic should be ashamed of such behavior. Their lack of transparency and last-minute communication shows a complete disregard for their patients time and needs.To anyone considering this clinic—be cautious, especially if youre a part of the LGBTQ+ community. We expected professionalism and fairness, but unfortunately, that was far from what we experienced.

Im a bit late writing this review ( nearly 5 years to be exact seeing as how our fertility baby just turned 4 recently. )After nearly 8 years of trying, my husband and I took a leap of faith and scheduled an appointment at The Fertility Center in Chattanooga TN.Immediately we were advised on the costs, and prepared for the tests. Dr.Donesky was incredibly knowledgeable and explained every little detail to us, including our options moving forward.After much discussion between my husband and I, and many prayers, we decided to go the IUI as our first option. We were then transferred to Ms.Katie ( I do apologize but I do not know her last name. ) To this day- my husband and I say Katie is our favorite lady.She was so professional, yet always spunky and just a breathe of fresh air during the stressful emotional journey that infertility is.We went through all the tests, the medication, the ovulation shot and its IUI day. Due to a conflicting work schedule, my husband could not go with me for the IUI so I took myself. Nervous was an understatement. Katie came in, professional and happy as always. She did our IUI, explaining every step.Fast forward and thank God our first IUI was successful. The Fertility Center proceeded to have us in weekly for blood draws and ultrasounds to ensure our precious boy was healthy and developing as he should.Each visit, the entire staff greeted us with smiles. They even allowed all the grandparents to gather in for our ultrasounds, always being so supportive.We eventually got released from The Fertility Center and transferred to a regular OB. Mercy were we spoiled with the weekly ultrasounds because regular OBs are very stingy with those haha.Ive read bad reviews but I have to say- for my husband and I- Dr.Donesky, especially Katie, and the staff were so wonderful to us and we thank God we took the leap to go to The Fertility Center in Chattanooga TN.Our sweet miracle boy is thriving and happy. We are forever grateful for the team at The Fertility Center.

The Doctors and staff at The Fertility Center are absolutely wonderful! Every time we go there they are so kind, considerate, helpful, knowledgable, and professional. We have gone there for two pregnancys now, (the first being for our little boy who is almost 3 now, and also for the baby Im currently pregnant with). Dr. Donesky specifically has gone above and beyond to be there for us as we struggled to get pregnant this last time around. He answered all my questions, and was kind and considerate beyond belief. He also had many great recommendations for things to try to help us this time around. What a blessing The Fertility Center has been to help grow our family!!! Thank you so much. If you are looking for any help with fertility struggles, we very highly recommended Dr. Donesky, Katie (their awesome NP), and the whole staff and doctors at The Fertility Center!

My wife and I were recommended to this fertility clinic and have honestly appreciated all the help they have given us.We’ve taken a small break the past year that we’ve been coming into the office, but the staff has always treated us with genuine care every time, as well as receiving the same care treatment on the provided online portal.We’ve yet to be successful in our first attempts, but we have full trust in the staff and Dr.Bird on their vast knowledge on timing and consistency.Some of these procedures as well seem costly, but are actually very affordable compared to what other clinics charge. We haven’t encountered any hidden fees or “money-hungry” tactics as others have mentioned.However, my wife and I were very committed to researching a lot into different procedures and met with the financial advisor during our consultation to ensure we ask every question we could to clarify any questions or circumstances that may come with the financial standpoint of everything.This is a great clinic with wonderful people - we greatly appreciate everything we’ve been provided with everyone.

My wife and I struggled with fertility for 5-1/2 years when we heard of Dr. Joseph Bird and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. He actually listed to my wife and confirmed she was right about her condition when other clinics dismissed her concerns. Dr. Bird helped correct the issue and told us within 3-6 months we should get pregnant. Like clockwork, we conceived on month 3. We’re thankful God lead us to Dr. Bird at The Fertility Center.

If you pay for IUI service and then they dont end up performing the IUI they will not apply it to the next cycle. They will only give you a $400 discount even though they never performed the service. Essentially they are taking payment with not performing the services.

I found this clinic using a Google search engine because I was seeking help with bio- identical hormone therapy for prepping for IVF and also for help with healing a delayed surgical fusion of the Lumbar spine which I had in May of 2021. My OBGYN in NC was unaware he could prescribe bio-identical hormones and he wasnt sure how to safely prescribe them for what my needs were. I saw Dr. Donesky July of 2023 and he prescribed for me estrogen and progesterone explaining everything in detail as to why I needed progesterone to protect me from uterine cancer and that delivering the medication transdermally would protect my liver from damage. I had spinal X-rays in December of 2023 and finally I achieved full fusion of this segment and my body is better prepared now to undergo IVF. I was however turned down by this clinic for IVF and an embryo transfer stating that their clinic has an age limit of 55. I am 59 and recently entered menopause. However when I called to make an appointment with the clinic the front desk person informed me there was no age limit saying We dont turn anyone away. So, I was shocked to finally be turned away. I became somewhat depressed for a couple months after being turned away because of my age. It wasnt until December of 2023 when I discovered that my lumbar fusion finally healed that I realized God led me to this clinic, not for IVF, but to find healing. And for that I am so grateful. Thank you! Truly, thank you! I also respect the clinics decision to turn me away due to my age. But I had my hopes up because of what the front desk person initially told me. So, I felt let down to hear they have an age limit. I hope the clinic will communicate with the front desk staff better in the future. However in my case had they, I wouldnt have come and received the help with hormone therapy which I so much needed. So, in my case all went perfectly well. I will take this knowledge gained with me to a Russian IVF clinic where I will go to be with my future husband so the doctors there can provide better care for me.

My husband and I came to Dr. Donesky from recommendation as our last resort. We traveled from Central Arkansas and even that being the case we are BEYOND happy with the experiences we’ve had at the Fertility Center. They’ve accommodated our being from another area, they are very attentive to messages and phone calls, and Dr. Donesky was very kind and good at explaining next steps along our journey. Without them we wouldn’t have our son. We cannot wait to return for baby number two and recommend them 100000%!

Infertility can be a scary and overwhelming experience. We’re happy that we chose the Chattanooga fertility center to tackle those challenges with us. From the first consultation, we knew we were at the right place. Dr. Donesky personally sat down with us to talk through the standard testing procedures and made sure we understood exactly what it was and why it was being performed. Lisa provided the same quality information for us on the financial side of the house.Our personal situation led us towards IVF. Dr. Donesky once again was very informative and clear about our percentages for success. We felt very informed throughout the entire process and felt like we had very regular communication with all of the staff. If there was ever anything we didn’t know, the staff were able to provide timely assistance through the portal.A couple of years later, we welcomed a healthy happy baby girl into the world. We’re very thankful for all of the wonderful people we met throughout this process at the clinic and plan to return again when we’re ready to grow our family.

We had an amazing experience at The Fertility Center. Dr. Donesky and his staff became like family during our most difficult season. They walked us through each process and procedure and were just a call or message away when we had questions. Forever thankful!

Words can not describe how grateful we are for this clinic. My wife was hesitant on trying to schedule an appointment because at the first clinic in Nashville, we were turned away because of her weight. We finally found the courage to schedule an appointment. The doctors here are amazing! The staff is extremely nice and very informational. We did ivf in May of 2021. Our ivf twins turned one this past January. They helped us grow our family after years of trying. We are forever thankful.

Honestly we have been here for years trying to get pregnant… We have spent thousands and usually are attacked (held captive) over payment before leaving the office. We decided to take a break from trying because we were not successful and upon trying to move forward because there arent to many options in this area we were told we had an unpaid bill and wouldn’t be allowed to be seen there anymore. I have RECEIVED one statement and disregarded it because of their aggressive collection policy in office. We tried to pay it the second we called today and she refused to take the payment. The financial advisor waited until the end of cycle day 2 for me to inform me that she spoke with the doctors and would not be seeing me. They have cost us yet another month of delayed treatment and honestly thousands of dollars. We have been with them for almost 7 years and nothing they have ever done has resulted in us having a baby. Thankfully another doctor in our area helped us get pregnant with our daughter. I would give anything if he wasn’t retired and we wouldn’t have had to mess with this money hungry office that puts money over care in every area.

The Fertility Center staff has become family! I was so anxious about coming to our first consultation with FC, but Dr. Bird and staff gave us so much peace and hope from Day 1. Infertility is a journey, but you shouldnt have to do it alone. We went through many ups and downs, but they were right there through it all and gave us the reassurance we needed to keep moving forward. Our IVF miracle will be joining us in just a few short months and its all thanks to Dr. Bird and his staff -- from his nurses Sydney and Ginger, to Katie the NP, Jessica in the lab, Lisa in financing, Marie & Selena in the embryology lab, and everyone in between, we are so blessed to have chosen FC. I would not recommend anywhere else! They guided our expectations through it all and answered all of my questions even when they were silly. They want the best for their patients and you can tell you are a priority to them. Many prayers for those of you still in waiting!

They went above and beyond to make our dream come true! Words cannot express how negative our experience has been with this company. We worked with company for over 3 years and have regretted every moment of it. We are finally transferring to another local clinic to continue down this road. Some of the complaints we have include:-Complete lack of cost transparency. They hide extra $$ around every corner.-Total disregard to your wants! You are a number in their system and they lack all empathy. Welcome to their assembly line from hell.-They recommend expensive and unnecessary procedures constantly. Working with a new clinic has opened our eyes to how much has been unnecessary.

This fertility clinic is incredible! My husband and I shopped around for the best fertility Doctors in our area that ended in disappointment for a range of reasons, price, bedside manner, professionalism, competence, and etc. Thankfully, we found this clinic! The total 6 hr commute was worth it! We now have a beautiful baby and 2 embryos waiting for us! They truly made our dreams come true.

I have gone to this fertility center with my daughter since 2016. They are truly a team of caring angels. They always make sure everything is for the patient & the hope of a baby! Our family‘a dream finally came true! She was born 12/1/22.Thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but THANK YOU ALL ❤️

The entire staff here is absolutely amazing! Dr Donesky has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever had. He’s very thorough and caring. The rest of the staff, from the nurses to billing to receptionists all have wonderful demeanors and work quickly to respond to any questions. Thankful is an understatement ♥️

The staff here is incredibly caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Donesky, Dr. Bird, and Katie (NP) have taken their time to really explain things to me. I know without a doubt that they care about their patients. Communication from staff is great and they always answer my questions in a timely manner.

After trying for years and going to every fertility clinic in the Nashville area we decided to make the drive to Chattanooga. During our first visit with Dr.Bird I sobbed because I knew I had found the place that I was supposed to be. Dr.Bird is amazing and with every road block we hit he was there for us, he always laid out our options after a failed transfer and always talked to us like people. The fertility center staff became a second family to us over the 2 years we were going through treatments they were there for us and helped us grieve and cheered us on when we got to graduate from the fertility clinic. We will always recommend the fertility center to people even in Nashville because it was well worth the drive.

I am forever thankful for Dr. Donesky and his entire staff. We struggled with infertility for 3+ years before seeking their assistance with our fertility journey. After successful IVF, we received the greatest gift, our little boy. They are truly the best.

I would give no stars if I could. All we needed to do was drop off a sample for testing. At the last minute, our appointment to just drop off a sample was canceled. The last minute was an email at 9pm at night the night before, that thankfully I did recieve. No phone call saying Hey we emailed you paperwork that we need before your appointment. Did you recieve it? No common courtesy. I never even signed up to be corresponded with by email. I am much better with phone calls as emails often get lost. I would have happily filled out paperwork before hand if I had known. I didnt. I will be finding another provider who will actually pick up the phone to reach out to their patients.

I was seen as an outside monitoring patient at this clinic on 3 separate occasions for an IVF transfer Id be doing out of state, paying completely out of pocket for all visits as they said they dont bill insurance for monitoring patients. I was given inadequate treatment on all three visits, however was seriously limited with options as there are only two fertility centers in the area. The second two visits, I was not even seen by the doctor, my biggest complaint though, is that I had to beg them multiple times (9 phone calls) to fax over the information to my clinic in California! NINE phone calls, even though I was promised that it would be sent over ASAP and confirming the fax number MULTIPLE times. My clinic out of state was even calling/leaving voicemails. We ended up having to call the after hours emergency number. The actually caused a one day delay in my transfer and me starting my mediation for my cycle, pretty major deal. I was going to wait to leave this review as I needed them to draw my HCG tests however they just recently informed me that they wont be able to accommodate me because theyre too busy this month, weird, probably shouldve considered that before you accepted me as an outside monitoring patient and I paid the outside monitoring fee.Giving two stars because the one time I did see the doctor he was very nice and I never had to wait more than 10 minutes.

20 years of suffering and countless Drs seeing me, I was at wits end, sick, and tired from all my female issues. I was referred by a co-worker who had high praises from this way. I can honestly say meeting Dr Katie saved my life. We worked on a game plan and life style changes. She patiently answered my millions of questions and her kindness was so genuine.It was my experience that since I’m not pregnant, and not wanting to be a single mom most unprofessional Dr’s offices I used previously didn’t value my health, nor was I taken seriously. One nurse from a practice in GA told me and I quote “make sure you take your metformin, your time to have babies is getting shorter and shorter”. Who is the world tells a patient that???? People focus on the wrong things, and after 20+ years of not getting the help and care I needed, I had to speak up and advocate for myself, my health, and my sanity. Thank you CFC for all that you do!

While I did my regular visits at the Knoxville location (5 star review there for Dr. Donesky and NP Mary Katherine and team, too!), the big procedures were done at the Chattanooga location. After so many unsuccessful years of trying to conceive on our own, I was nervous and a little scared, but the staff here were comforting and took care of me. What magic they are working! We now have a healthy, happy, and thriving baby boy! I cannot thank this professional and caring staff enough. They are making dreams come true!

My husband and I both have children from previous relationships and most people and even a few doctors turned their heads at us when we mentioned its been three years and we havent been able to get pregnant. From the moment we walked through the doors at the fertility clinic, we were treated like family.I have never had such an amazing experience with a Dr and Dr. Donesky and Taryn and even the financial assistant were so amazing! As stressful as infetinfert is I cant wait to go back for my next appointment!

After 8 rounds of IVF Dr Donskey never once gave up trying to find a way to make us parents. I have never seen such love and compassion from any other group of doctors. I wished I could of finished my pregnancy in their office instead of my regular OB. Shirley is absolutely incredible and made everything possible for us.

I went for my first consult with Dr Donesky. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. His explanation of things such as medicines and answering questions was excellent. The atmosphere in this clinic is so warming. The ladies that work here absolutely love what they do and it sure does show!!! The email and phone call return for the staff is excellent!!!! If you have a question it is always answered in a wonderful time frame, my questions have always been answered the same day that they were asked. Infertility is a very emotional thing and couples need support, the staff in this clinic are so supportive and loving. Im from the central Arkansas area and I traveled 8 hours there and 8 hours back to go to this clinic and I would do it all over again! It was worth every single second of travel time. If you are shopping for a fertility clinic family this clinic is a great invest!!! Dr Donesky ROCKS and the ladies are awesome!!!!! Good luck and baby dust!!!!!

After moving and changing fertility clinics, our new doctor was very confused as to why we went with IVF given my age (27) genetic history, and health status. I explained that our previous clinic (Fertility Center of Chattanooga) told us that our best option was IVF and he proceeded to look over my files. I explained that IVF was heavily pushed, and not IUI. He was flabbergasted that out of the 65+ eggs, only two turned to embryos. He was highly confused by everything we went through.I then explained that the fertility clinic in Chattanooga said our chances with IUI would only be 3% because I didn’t have success with the egg retrieval or IVF. He said IUI had lesser of a chance than IVF, but he recommended three rounds of that (much cheaper than IVF) before moving to plan B. Low and behold, it worked the first time and we are very grateful. We welcomed our son in September.While we are so extremely happy to have our newborn, it does make me wonder about the validity of your fertility clinic. I never felt like our new clinic was stealing money or lying to us. I question why we were pushed towards IVF and deterred from IUI, especially after going over our financial constraints multiple times. We were never offered financial support or discount programs at the Fertility Center of Chattanooga. They simply led us to loans and credit cards that might have helped us. I’m very upset with the amount of money we spent for something that was so unsuccessful, only to be told that everything could’ve been done with a more cost effective method (Especially when the more cost effective method worked the first time).

After working for over 10 years with OB/GYN doctors to try to conceive I finally reached out to a specialty clinic. I am so glad I did! They do things different and give you a lot more options. Just 3 months after working with these great doctors I became pregnant. Now, we are parents to the sweetest little boy. Thank you Dr. Donesky and Dr. Bird for listening and caring for me. Your staff is wonderful also and genuinely cared about my husband , myself and our dreams of becoming parents.God Bless you all!!!

Dr. Donesky and staff have always treated me and my husband with great respect and empathy. I feel like I’m always taken care of, even on the bad days when I’m there to discuss some hard topics or do some not-so-fun treatments. Dr. Donesky was the first Dr to finally agree to perform a lap and diagnose endometriosis, which a lot of Dr’s in the past always deduced to “unable to cope with period pain.” When I finally found someone who would listen to me and let ME explain what was happening in MY body, they found a patient for life. (hopefully not life, praying for a baby lol)Update: our IVF baby was born May 2021 :-)

Perhaps it is because I am young (26) but I just felt like the Dr. was very condescending. He talked AT me, but did not talk with me or ask me many questions.Several instances it just really felt like the Dr. did not care.Maybe it would have been a better experience if I was older, but I had a very negative experience here.The front desk ladies and the nurses are very kind and caring. I would almost go back just for them.

For a first time experience, this is not a place I would recommend for anyone. Literally one of the worst experience I’ve ever had. This is supposed to be a time that we look forward to. The staff is very rude, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. Sydney and Shirley are very hard to communicate with.. when explaining something or needing information or clarification they become very frustrated and rude. Definitely do not recommend this clinic at all for any mother or egg donor that’s looking for a fertility specialist.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered in health care. My wife and I are licensed health care personnel who have been in the industry for a combined 13 years. My wife chose this fertility center based on online advertisement. We had an appointment for 9 am. The parking lot was nearly empty and there was one couple before us who came and went. We went back at 10 am for our consultation after our hour wait in the empty waiting room. The office was freezing cold and there seemed to not be working heat. The physician was very thorough and explained our options very well. I was very pleased until we moved to our next person whom was a financial advisor. We received an email before coming to the office that diagnostic tests would be covered but no actual procedures. This was confirmed with this person and our rates were given. We were happy with the rates and costs and they all seemed reasonable. Our next stop was lab. While walking to the lab we noticed two employees braiding each others hair( this is not acceptable workplace behavior outside of hair salons). The lab personnel took three sticks to draw blood from my extremely fit 115 lb wife with bulging veins (I am a ICU nurse who sticks people frequently). The three sticks were ok, but it was the fact that she blamed my wife for each stick not being successful. She told her she needed to hydrate and said her veins were bad. At which point, my wife started to cry and asked to goto the bathroom. She told her to not faint on her. This was very disrespectful to say to someone who is already going through a traumatic experience. Around the same time, the financial advisor came back in to tell us that they had made a mistake and that their facility was out of network and we would be responsible for a different set of charges. The money is not an issue it is more of the incompetence. We had confirmation emails before that made statements that contradicted this. After agreeing to pay a higher rate then we originally told we went to pay. The person who handles the money was somehow now gone and appeared five minutes later with a bag of popcorn. (Also not professional behavior in my opinion). I could not wait to leave.In summary, the physician seemed very good and had a great manner. However, his office staff was the most unprofessional group I have encountered. I will never step foot in this office again in my life. Beware, you have been warned....

My husband and I have truly nothing but wonderful things to say about The Fertility Center Chattanooga. The staff and experience were out of this world. ❤️

Often am dismissed and unheard at TFC. I think it’s ok to ask questions especially when you are financially struggling to afford procedures there etc and I think patients deserve answers. The infertility journey is hard and emotional, but punitive communication styles or not being believed, doesn’t help.

I highly recommend Dr. Donkesky and Dr. Bird. They have phenomenal bedside manner and really want to find a solution for you. They never rush and always thoroughly explain. The staff here is amazing and always helpful! If you’re looking for a fertility doctor, this is the one!

After my visit there was a bit of a misunderstanding with the bill/charges. Shirley reached out to me and was able to clear the confusion with great concern of the situation. Courteous, clean, and professional staff!
