Today I was seen in office today by Mejd I really liked how attentive he was to all my concerns and how promptly I was able to get an appointment being that it was the same day appointment. Medical assistant Francesca was very pleasant and was very nice throughout the whole process would really recommend this health center to family friends. And also to Claudia to be able to draw my labs even though it was almost the end of the day!!

My wife and I have been going to Family Health society in Chicago heights for over 10 years. The staff in clinic are exceptional. The Doctors have changed over that time but they have all been the best. They have respected our requests and kept us in good health. They have recently helped me a lot when my wife became bedridden with telehealth visits..The only downfall is trying to get someone on the phone unless you want to make an appointment. You get routed to a call center and the operator follows a script that asks the same nonsense and will not transfer you until they feel good and ready.

The employees at Access are all outstanding! I have been coming to Access for over 21 years. The receptionist, nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors, coordinators, are always helpful showing genuine care about your health care.Thank you to the entire staff of Access for consistently, going above and beyond your pay grade to treat patients with kindness and care!💙💚💙💚Please give them all a raise or at least a free lunch from a nice restaurant!👍💯Much love and gratitude,Jennifer Burner

This dr office was recommended to me by a co worker and she did not lie when she said their place was the best. I was accommodated by the front desk to see provider Alkurdi and he listened to all my medical concerns and is helping me to stay healthy. The medical assistant was very thorough and did not rush to get my vitals like other places I’ve been to before. Definitely my new dr office and will recommend to more friends and family.

Today 5/21/24 was my first visit with Access. I am so pleased with the kindness and understanding of all my needs. My team went above and beyond to make sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I’m so grateful to have them as my care team.

I am pleased with the clinic overall. I’ve built rapport with my doctors and their assistants. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Yesterday I met Karen the benefit manager and let’s just say I didn’t want to leave! She is amazing! Not only did she assist me but she also talked to me the whole time while she worked. I feel really comfortable here and happy to have them take care of my health needs! Highly recommend

The providers are great, the staff at the front desk is lazy and they sit and gossip about the patients. I observed the staff snicker and laugh like little school girls. They expect you to arrive early and then the receptionist delay your visit. Do your job.

All the staff is very professional and welcoming, I really like how attentive and patient all the staff are, Dr. Knazze is wonderful she is so attentive and patient when it comes to kids. I also appreciate that they were able to fit my baby in for a fast appointment for a sick visit. I can go on about how great the staff and manager are I will definitely recommend others to come.

They never have appointments Available at this location. Everytime I call they schedule me 4-5 months out and I have to go to the ER. The attitudes are poor but it’s Illinois so that’s normal !

Today was my first time at this location. I’m very unsatisfied with the staff service. I got called to the back just to sit and wait for almost 45minutes.. I’m pissed . When the nurse entered the room I explained how long I’ve been waiting all she had to say was it takes a little longer with new patients. Sad

I went there yesterday, and the 2 ladies in the front were so sweet and welcoming!!! Everyone working there was lovely and very professional. Would definitely recommend going!!!

This Is An Amazing Facility, The Staff Are All Very Professional And Very Kind. They Are Very Knowledgeable And Helpful And Willing To Help You With Anything You May Need, I Will Definitely Be Returning.

Caroline is AMAZING! She’s so sweet and easy to talk to. My son has his primary pediatrician at this clinic and he is very comfortable with him, the nurses are great! He doesn’t even cry for shots anymore! The front desk staff are so sweet also. Love it!

This place is such a disgrace. I had to delete my review before because they blamed it on an old employee that use to work there FOR MY EXPERIENCE WITH THAT PLACE. Every one can write how terrible this place is but because it was me I had to delete my review. I just got off the phone with the boss Caroline which she bribed me to come in to talk about an old review that I had wrote (which she pushed to have it taken down), just for her to release certain information that I had asked about my child!!! Good thing I recorded that call for this purpose she literally told me over the phone that if I come in to talk to her about the post then she can give me the information I needed!!!! That’s ridiculous!! I don’t know why I bother calling this place today after months of stop going here because I ALWAYS have issues here. I wouldn’t recommend any one going here until they hire better people.

Very friendly, pleasant staff ready to help and listen, Ive been going to this clinic for years and I am always pleased with the care, Judith has also helped me when in need of translating or need help with paperwork I cannot understand.

Karen is an absolute Godsend! She is so helpful! Every time I’ve had an appointment I always feel so welcome and thankful for her help! Very sweet girls up front too. My second pregnancy coming here and everyone is always so sweet. Thank you to all the staff here!

Twice now I have felt as though my health does not matter at this clinic. Months ago, my doctor did a telehealth with me and told me that the nurse would call and set up for lab work, I never got a call. I called to set up for a lab and told it would take a week before an appointment, had my appointment not been made for telehealth my blood could have been drawn same day instead of waiting on the nurse to call which she never did, causing my lab work to be pushed off. Yesterday My appointment was switched from in person to telehealth due to the weather. I was called by the desk, gave all my information over the phone including updated insurance information. I was told a co-pay would be added to my chart, I repeatedly looked and no co-pay was added, which then made it so the doctor couldnt take the time to call and keep my appointment even though I was waiting by the phone and checking for a co-pay that never got added. It feels like my health does not matter at this clinic.

Everyone at Access Family Health Society was super nice, patient and easy to talk too. I sat for just about 5mins before heading back to be seen by the doctor. Office was super clean also which is a plus. I will recommend this office to anyone. Great office staff.

I went to them because I got referred to them by a friend. Bur every single appointment they have rescheduled. It took 1 year to finally get seen. I get it my availability is not great either but every single appointment that could work with me would eventually get rescheduled. I needed a primary. I finally got seen in May and I told the doctor my issues. She said they were too many I had to make another appointment. Im like okay see you in a year then with even probably double the issues. She scheduled me to withdraw blood and this was since March it is now June and still I havent been able to get the blood work because they keep rescheduling. Tomorrow is my appointment and I called to confirm and GUESSSS WHAT?????? They said they would call me back because they see a note to rescheduled and not sure whats going on. My insurance coverage ends this month and Ive seen this place once. 😑 everyone is nice, yes. But nobody knows anything and appointments are ridiculous. Oh I saw obgyn too and she didnt give me all the medication needed. They finally got it right but my pharmacy helped me.

I am a first time patient here and this is by far the WORSTED doctors office I have ever been to. Im in health care so I needed a chicken pox booster and my hep B booster and a physical the doctor (who never offered her name) told me I need to go to Wal-Mart or Walgreens to get them done and that she would hold my physical form until I did; I thought that was strange but went ahead, Wal-Mart didnt take my insurance and neither did Walgreens so I called my insurance provider and they told me I need to get my injections done at a Dr.s Office, so I called the office and asked them why they couldnt give me the shots and they said because we dont have them.. So I asked well can I make an appointment for them and get them when there available and she said we order our medication but we have no idea if/when theyll be coming in to which I said well my insurance will only cover them if I get them done at a doctors office and she told me sounds like your gonna have to pay out of pocket Maam. Which I said I will not be paying out of pocket for anything Ill take my buisness to another facility but I need that physical form back with proof of the physical I received, she said ok then only for me to get back to the clinic and see the doctor wrote on my physical form that I refused the shots THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE IN STOCK please save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs SMH

This doctors office has been such a pleasure to go to. The doctors are so nice and actually listen. The nurses take great care of you. And even if you need help getting insurance Karen Haney is so great at what she does and just a really nice person to talk to. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new doctor!

Love the doctor, the assistants, the receptionists,etc. Its clean, they are friendly, and professional. They just make you feel at home and welcoming.

The appointment was on time as scheduled. Access Family health was a clean facility. The doctor was amazing with my kids. Very thorough on their check up and vaccinations! A place I highly recommend for everyone. I wanted to thank Karen as well for helping me with questions I had regarding my insurance.5 stars

The insurance and benefits specialist, Karen, was just wonderful. She helped me with the entire process of enrolling with medicaid. After finding out you need urgent brain surgery I couldnt handle trying to figure out medicaid on my own. I am so appreciative of her help, her excellent customer service, her sincerity and her professionalism. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!

Worst doctor ever is dr A brown I was at my appointment yesterday for 37 week check up and she didn’t do anything she was suppose to do. She didn’t check to see if I’m dilated. And she made my appointment 3 weeks ahead when I’m supposed to see her every week now. Then I gave her paperwork to fill out for my job so I can get paid while on maternity leave and told her I needed the paperwork on Friday and she just rushed out couldn’t even finish what I was saying she don’t care about her patients. Now I can’t turn in my paperwork for me to get paid while on leave cause she wanna do it on her time. When she run test she don’t even tell you your test results. This is my first time having her as a doctor and she is horrible.

The epitome of a cluster F-you know what. This is about more disorganized and useless as the TSA or the US Government. My mother is 66 years old, and driving her around is the best I can do for her to ensure shes taken care of. We come here, and these absent minded zombies refer her to someone who isnt even in her network, and dont find this out until were driving all over creation. This facility has absolutely zero concept of concern for an elderly woman who is has a family history of colon cancer. I dont know who is to blame for her not being able to get some sort of answer, but it seems the entire medical field has been tossed in the trash. An unrelated physician told her she cannot be seen until August. Who in gods name is running this circus!? What a shame. Dont get me started on the emergency rooms around here...wait, is there even one within 15 miles? Or should I call an ambulance and come up with $800 first. I guess I should not be surprised that this is an American corporation of healthcare ruined by the obsessive greed of the reeking capitalist society we endure. I guess Ill fix her a salad and hope for the best....

This is by far the worse clinic I have ever been a patient of. It’s almost impossible to get in to see the doctor. The staff seems deceptive at times because they don’t want to deal with their patients. The phone is the biggest joke. It’s like pulling teeth to get through to someone in the clinic. I’ve been told multiple times that I would receive a call back only to wait and end up having to call them back. I’ve been waiting for over two weeks to receive the results of my mammogram which I need desperately because I received a letter in the mail stating I need to have another one done due to findings. I can’t schedule a new appointment until my doctor submits a new order but I can NEVER reach him!! There needs to be a drastic change at this facility orbit just needs to be shut down!!

Wonderful nurses and doctors. One receptionist in particular named Angie Serrato answered all my questions about my appointment and gets me in as soon as possible. Very friendly and polite never got frustrated over all the questions asked made my doctors visit very pleasant. Would recommend going back there to friends and family.

I’ve been going to this doctors office since I was 16 years of age My kids love it here my appointments standards are always met me and my children have special bonds with almost everyone here Alicia, ya ya, Judy, Claudia, Nancy, I literally have bonds with them all they’re like my family ❤️❤️ Highly recommend them!!..

The only thing I don’t like about them is dr.Arletta brown. While I was pregnant she didn’t do what she was supposed to do, didn’t explain what it meant that I would have to do as far as my diet when it came to gestational diabetes so I was scared to eat, didn’t check my cervix unless I asked, and was only really on her stuff when I had multiple people in the room with me, but when I was by myself with written down questions to ask she seemed amused. She was always in a rush to leave and I always had to wait a long time to be seen by her. The nurses I love and the front desk has always been very respectful to me.

My son had an appointment at 11am and when I called the clinic she said that the doctor was running behind and that she will call at 1115. 1115 came and went. We didnt get a call from the doctor until 12. Also I dont understand js that the medical assistance didnt call to ask any questions. This is not the first time my son had a telehealth appointment. Mind you when I called the clinic again the front desk said the medical assistance doesnt call and ask questions only the provider. What if my pharmacy changed and information changed how would they know if nobody called me and asked information. Never again will schedule at this clinic

The staff is very very rude and when you call to speak to your child’s doctor they say they tell the doctor to call back and the doctor never gets back with you, this has happened to me too many times with this office. I don’t know if they just never tell the doctor or if the doctor just never calls. My daughter got blood drawn i have called to check the results and no one has gotten back with me. Been a over a month and no results. My doctor is never in and I’m always being rescheduled 2 hours before my appointment. Terrible service.

The staff is no help absolutely no help and for the record i understand Spanish and its not cool to talk about your patients their the reason you have A job. Found them completely useless. I explained my issues to 4 different people and none had good answers. UPDATE; thank you Terri for taking the Time out of your day to call me to discuss this issue. The issue was not with the front desk the issue was with the practitioners that took care of me. Or lack of taking care of me. I have discussed this with Terry. However, I feel the resolutions still left me. Having to go to yet another doctor visit in order to I resolve my issues. Everything was explained to Terry and she was very kind and understanding. The Aid or whoever walked me back to the room Was very pleasant. And even recognize the pain that I was experiencing. I am an RN. And I understand what goes on with my body and what helps my body. My advice is to listen to your patients. Rather than trying to pass the buck to other. Specialtys. Which the Specialties are normallyAt least an hour away. I went to the clinic. Thinking that my issues could be fixed at that time. And trying to avoid an emergency room visit however upon my visit the nurse practitioner decided. That I would be better off going to an ER as I only pulled a muscle in my back and she recommended a chest x-ray or some sort of X-ray which would not show the issues that I would have pulling a muscle. An MRI is more conclusive of any disc or any. Spinal issues further Its very upsetting that I have a lower degree and I am able to discuss this a little more in-depth. The fact that the nurse practitioner never even touched me or text me for sciatic. Or listened to my heart or lungs seems to be an issue. Again, I do appreciate the phone call from Terry and I hope that the other will not suffer the same experience that I had at this Clinic. I believe that any clinics should be able to prescribe any medications that are needed to adjust the is acute issues. This is how emergency rooms are so filled and there are unable to care for people that are actually seriously ill. I refuse to go to emergency room when I have a doctor to go to or whatever soon to be a doctor however was met by a nurse practitioner, which I am not against that. However, if you cannot prescribe the medications that are needed for certain patients, then I dont believe The clinic should be running without somebody that can. Thank you again for your time. I have been avoiding this place because of negative reviews. I had an appt. Today(physical) for 2 of my children. My appt was 2:15 and 3:15 I was out before 3 and one received shots. I saw Dr. Hazel and she was very nice. The nurses assistant also gave me information she looked up herself instead of telling me to look around the web for what I needed. This is the first time I have ever had an appt for 2 kids and was done in 45mins😊

I would recommend family Health society to everyone. I am also a healthcare provider myself and I know what it means to deliver the best care to my patients. I am a patient there and I also bring my grandchildren to see providers as well. I especially appreciate the excellent reception I have encountered from your receptionist Angie Serrato whom is very knowledgeable and professional. Your first encounter should always be a positive one. I also have to acknowledge one of your medical assistants whom was very helpful ... Nancy Reyes. I hope family health society recognizes these employees for going the extra mile.

I went as a new patient because my health insurance changed, im currently looking for work so I can go back to my doctor. Worse experience ever I saw a Nurse practitioner Kimball. From the time she walked in she showed little empathy, she was aggressive, cold, told me she couldnt order most the tests I needed. I have been very sick suffering from a low red blood cell count. I dont know what type of practice this is why they treat their patients so bad. Very unprofessional and its sad the quality of service that they are providing low income people. I would pay out of pocket and go back to my doctor before I go to Access ever again!

If you have something to do don’t come here be prepared to be there for hours even the lab appointment they don’t call your name until you been there an hour it’s ridiculous

I love this clinic been coming here since i was a kid and now i bring my kids here as well. Angelina Serrato is very friendly always greeting ppl with a smile and very helpful... i love herr!!! Shes one of the best ones at ACCESS clinic.

People always talk bad about this building. Yet, this place has been here since God knows when. Hell my Grandma went there in the early 90s. I did avoid this office because everyone always has something bad to say. Well the hell with them. I finally took my son to see Dr. Rastogi. He is a great loving Dr. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. When we do come, we are usually done less than a hour.

After 2 months of seeing Dr Brown I am still suffering from the same issues. I just called to see if they could move my appointment up and was told that if my issues were that serious then go to the hospital the lady then hung up in my face after yelling and being very rude. I hate everything about this clinic from the long wait time to the Doctors who basically waste your time. I have been looking for other clinics but cant get in until December. Do not go here.

The nurse were really nice, everything was really clean and they were still following some COVID rules like keeping masks on at all time.

Very quick appointment. Less than an hour I was out. Dr.Brown answered all my concerns. The only problem I had was that none of the bathrooms was working.

Waited for an hour and nobody came.I had another appointment and had to leave cause I didnt when they were coming to see me.I requested a day off at work to have gynecologist checkup but i just wasted my time here

My son saw Dr Melinda and she and her nurses for over two years and they were great to us. The only problem I have with them is I ended up moving to another state and it takes taken them over 9 months to send the medical records and when they finally sent it... they only sent half.

There’s a reason this place has 2.6 stars. Completely disorganized and apparently the workers/receptionists don’t know each others names. So unbelievably unhelpful it’s nuts. Look somewhere else for help. This is my first an only review because no place has ever been this terrible.

First off I will start off by saying that Dr. Ruby is the one of the best Obgyns out there. I have followed him around in several office moves from Frankfort to Oak Lawn and now here. This is by far the WORST health clinic I have ever been to. I feel so bad that Dr. Ruby has to work with this incompetent staff the front desk does a terrible job the wait is always super long my appts take 2 hrs each time and lets not mention what its like when you call for an appointment it rings and rings then it just hangs up.

Dr. Ruby is great but his staff is poor, they have attitudes and do not respect your time. They have several side bar conversations that are far from work related while you sit and wait. If it wasnt for Dr. Ruby I would take my business elsewhere.

BY FAR THE WORST PRACTICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.I would get scheduled for appointments- show up - staff would state I did not have an appointment YET had the print out in my hand with proof needless to say I had to ALWAYS reschedule and hope to get seen. Keep in mind I was pregnant. I seen the OB minimal times ; I only had ONE ultrasound scheduled. The most pathetic practice!!!!

I can never get in to see my Dr, or get my medicine refilled. I always have to go the ER to get care. They say they will have the Dr to call me back. I am still waiting on that call which was 3 weeks and I have been back in the ER since then.

If i could I would rate them 5 stars below zero. Dr. Arletta Brown is wonderful but the office people are HORRIBLE. Bad attitude and very unfriendly and royal screw ups. They gave me a business card to call them for an appt. the wrong phone number was printed on it.

I would give it minus 10, if possible. The facility is chaotic and unprofessional. The doctor I saw, a Hazel Langcauon was horrible. She doesnt listen at all, has no empathy or ability to communicate effectively. A bad experience that I will not repeat. I urge others to avoid also, save yourself some grief.

Absolutely terrible clinic. My girlfriend has been trying to scheduled for a physical and they keep scheduling and calling back to cancel because the doctor isnt in the days they schedule her. Get better help.

Friendly caring ladies and Drs. They were able to make my son an appointment fast for his school physical even with all the covid and safety stuff. Ive been coming here fors years and will continue to refer my friends and family. Helpful understanding eveyone.

I am writing to you regarding a situation that arose recently when I tried to get a refill on a prescription that Dr. Mulk prescribed for me. Basically my problem is based on lack of communication. I’ve been trying to get this prescription fill for over ten (10) days. I’ve called the clinic numerous times. I was put on hold for an unreasonable length of time and this happen several time. When I did get a person to talk to they promised me that they would leave a message for Dr. Mulk asking her to call me back. I never received such a call for either her or the receptionist. Additionally, Walgreen’s Pharmacy attempted to contact Dr. Mulk several times to no avail. My medications are of the up most importance to me and should also be to Access Health Network. I feel that there should be someone at the clinic that can call in a prescription to my pharmacy if Dr. Mulk is not available to do so.

The front desk service is so unprofessional they are very rude. When you go in for an appointment you are waiting 1hour just to been seen and they never answers the phone when your trying to make an appointment. when you get any type of lab work done they never call you to come in or inform you of your blood work results you have to keep calling this is the worst clinic I have ever been

Every time I called the doctor office, I was put on hold for a very long time. Edna has a very bad attitude and very unprofessional. One of the nurses didnt wear gloves with drawing my blood. The staff is very unorganized. I ended up switching doctors.

The doctor I see is ok, however the staff is horrible, they never answer the phone and when they do they rude. They make you wait and dont acknowledge you when you arrive and they make you late for you appointment. These broads in this office need an attitude adjustment.

If I could give a zero star I would. They kept calling me to reschedule after I made an appointment, So I would reschedule, then they would say I need to reschedule again. After doing this three times they called me and said that they wont see me, no explanation was given.

What is the point in having an appointment time just to sit in the waiting room until an hour after your scheduled time? once you finally get into the office its another 20 mins or so before the doctor comes in. had an appointment at 1030 and didnt leave until 1230...

I’ve been going here since my son was born they always treat me well! A big special thank you to mrs. Serrato for being the best help ever! highly recommend!

Cant see gynecologist without switching your primary care physician. Very inconvenient.

Had been going to this place for a while. The place is dirty, unprofessional and Dr is always trying to rush you. I had a nurse take my blood pressure, and wasnt seen by her or my dr for what it seemed like another hour. Just terrible service overall.

Family Health Society is a very good Clinic I am a patient there and I love my doctor and the Employees it’s very clean I been coming here for a long time they are the best.

Larsen was literally the only doctor who actually cared that I had here sad she left , one of my most recent doctors I never even seen one time , then as for the Gyno she barely will answer anything with a straight response, doesn’t wanna run certain tests so I’ll no longer be returning to this facility because it’s ridiculous how much no one cares about patients concerns .

I got my vaccination there and the front desk and rest of the staff was extremely nice helpful with making my comfortable and I was in & out

Horrible staff. They dont call the day before to confirm appointments. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me there was no supervisor there. I know that was a lie

This place sucks. Whatever you do dont come here. They are always rescheduling appointments the day of your appoinment.

Whoever i just spoke to for a appointment is rude as hell. I dont understand how people like that even have a job

I take my daughter to the pediatric side and I have no problems with them.

All the staff is great and welcoming and comforting.

Very unprofessional, they NEVER CALL YOU ON TIME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT I BEEN HERE SINCE 12:50 MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 1:00pm and I’m still sitting in the Lobby 😡😡
