Dr. Wood Molo is wonderful! She takes the time and care to answer all questions, explains the steps needed to diagnose each individuals infertility issues, never rushes you through to IVF, as Ive heard others will. The team works like a well oiled machine, getting you in and out pretty smoothly. Although you wont see the doctor often, it isnt necessary as she is always monitoring your case. Spent many months with this office and never had a negative experience. Trust her expertise, its worth it!

I am so pleased with the caring that they provide for me. Such a positive energy with the staff. Dr. Wood Molo is by far the BEST Doctor I have had throughout my whole life. She treat her patients like family. She makes sure you are well taken care of and all your answers are answered and taken care of. I have been going through reproductive issues for about a year and none of the doctors seem to find my issue. Once I started seeing doctor wood Molo my problems have been getting solved and taken care of. I’m so pleased and blessed I made the decision going to Doctor Wood Molo facility. I love her and the staff. I always look forward to seeing all they’re beautiful faces. If anyone is having reproductive issues I suggest for to Wood Molo! Your answers and problems will get solved and handle.

Dr. Wood Molo and her team are professional, friendly, and thorough. I feel that my care has been excellent. They take care of a lot of patients and so visits are often quick, but once you realize you will have so many you are glad for the efficiency. They have a nurse line and Ive always received a response to my questions. Glad to be in this LTR with such nice providers!

Dr. Wood- Molo is great! She is very knowledgeable and explains everything so well. She is open and honest with you, so you know what to expect and can be prepared for this emotionally and physically difficult process. I really like her manner of speaking when she’s using vivid imagery and personification in a fun way to describe what’s happening in your body 😁

From the moment we met Dr. Wood Molo we knew we might the right decision of switching to this doctor. She was perisonalble and had a great sense of humor for such a hard thing to go through. The nurses were amazing always on time with our appointments and quick to respond when I had questions for them. The day of retrieval and transfer the nurses in that area were extremely nice and calming. I would 10/10 recommend going here!

Dr. Wood Molo is such a wonderful doctor and got the job done in 1 IVF round - which I am very thankful for. Here are my PROs and CONs list for this office:PROs:- Dr. Wood Molo is a caring doctor that takes time to explain everything (typically drawing things out), but she will walk through the different options, plans she thinks will work for your situation, and consider what you want (i.e. straight to IVF, 1 or 2 embryos, etc).- The Ultrasound tech is great- Scheduling an appointment was pretty easy, although you may have to wait around 20-30 minutes after your appt time- Mychart allows you to see all your lab results before the nurse calls and invoicesCONs:- They do not walk through much in terms of IVF medication, doses, timing (ask, call, bother them to get ALL of your questions answered)- The nurses tend to rush you, after appointments and on the phone (tell them to slow down, ask all your questions, and make sure you understand what they are saying. Just an FYI - you will be charged for any phone call over 10 minutes.

Dr. Wood-Molo has given us 4 beautiful miracles! My husband and I tried to have children for more than 3 years and experienced multiple losses and a tubal pregnancy. I even needed a surgery, which went smoothly. Dr. Wood-Molo and her team were with us through it all. We went through multiple IUIs and eventually turned to IVF. We were blessed with a good number of eggs to fertilize and picked from this batch each time and received a miracle child or two each time. We now have 4 beautiful children and we owe it all to Dr. Wood-Molo and her amazing group! We would highly recommend her to anyone who has been wanting and trying for a baby.

Dr. Wood Molo is the kindest, funniest, most down to earth doctor that I’ve ever had. Plus she’s brilliant. She explains things in a way that a layperson can understand. She’s loving and caring, and her nurses are equally amazing. My fertility journey has not been an easy one, but I know I’m in good hands with Dr. Wood Molo on my side. If I could give her a million stars I would, but I’ll settle for 5.

Wow! What a great first impression! Dr. Woodmolo had me at hello! She is attentive, a great listener, patient, maternal, kind-hearted, sweet-spirited, very informative, and understanding! She is a blessing from God in heaven and should be cloned for all patients needing a specialist for reproductive care. Im so glad to have met her and believe that all of my questions for so many years will finally be answered and everything Ive been waiting for for so long will finally come to pass. Thank you for all you do, Dr. Woodmolo! Youre one of a kind!!! God bless you!

I am so pleased with my experience in this office. Despite the craziness of COVID-19, we were still able to work together to get me pregnant! Dr. Wood Molo, the nurses, and the support staff have always been unbelievably caring and supportive throughout this long journey. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you all for everything you do!

I was very excited to meet with Dr. Mary virtually, which saved me a very long commute to the city. She was warm, inviting, and very considerate of my discussion with my past miscarriage history. I felt right away a great connection to her. She seemed open to the holistic approach I already had been using, and revising aspects of test results I had provided, unlike other doctors who were dismissive. I felt she was well learned in new research and suggested to look into another Yale medical doctor as well. She explained things simply using funny anecdotes. A potentially stressful appointment quickly was filled with laughter, and excitement for going forward. We also discussed all the areas that will be tested going ahead. She was also very considerate of my distance from Rush UIC location, and offered going to another closer facility to me and my husband for labs and ultrasounds for remote monitoring when possible! So glad I found her.

Yelp has more accurate reviews. They will eat away at your insurance benefits performing a multitude of ultrasounds and lab work, never once explaining anything. Communicating with anyone in the office- for results or follow-up appointments is a challenge. Getting any sort of follow-up, seeing, or communicating with Dr. Wood Molo is next to impossible. (Dr. Wood Molo does not perform any of the procedures, they are all done by her ARNP or a nurse.)If you decide to use their services, ask questions and demand answers. This seems like an obvious statement, but in the midst of fertility diagnostics/treatment it all goes out the window as you are just hopeful.Questions to ask your insurance before you start treatment: is fertility treatment covered? Do you have a lifetime max or a yearly max? Are the diagnostic visits included in your fertility treatment max? (If they tell you it depends on the coding, assume that it’s included as all the ultrasounds and lab work done in the office is billed as infertility.)Other than that, regardless which specialist you see- I wish you well in your journey.

I went to Dr. Wood-Molo for just over a year, and had high hopes when I first met her, as she seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and had the tools to diagnose and treat infertility. It took 3 months to get in to see her the first time to become a patient with her, but once I was a patient, it STILL took 3 months to see her any time I scheduled a consult appointment. I only actually saw or spoke to her 3 times in over a year. In the meantime, I would go in for regular labs and ultrasounds to track my cycle, and we did 5 failed IUIs. The office is tucked back into a corner of Rush Hospital, which takes forever to get to (not ideal when you have to go in at 6am several times a week), and the space is small, cramped, and not terribly clean, with worn-down carpets and furniture. Some of the nurses and techs were nice and caring during the appointments, but one was rougher than the others for the IUIs, and I would have terrible pain and cramping during and after she performed them. But the thing that makes me give them 1 star is the lack of communication. Any time I had a question, I would call the nurse line, leave a voicemail, and only get a call back about half the time. If my question was complicated, Id never get a call back. If I asked the question in person, they would say, Ill ask the doctor, and then I would sometimes get a call back with an answer to only half my question. I was concerned about a possible immunology component to infertility and asked if we could consult with an reproductive immunologist, and I was told by Dr. Wood-Molo (through her nurse) to just take some aspirin. My final straw was my last consult with Dr. Wood-Molo. I asked several questions which she literally ignored or redirected instead of saying I dont know, or Ill find out for you if she didnt have the answer. My husband and I were livid when we left that appointment-- we couldnt believe what we just experienced. She did the same dog and pony show of drawing the female reproductive system upside down on paper and explaining how eggs and sperm work for all 3 appointments, as if it was our first appointment, without answering our new questions. Her recommendation was to move on to IVF, and there was no way I was going to have her and her staff handle a complicated and confusing IVF procedure with how dismissive they were with my questions and concerns. I found a new clinic for IVF, and they have messaging in a patient portal, a 24-hour nurse line, and my new doctor gave me a personal cell number and told me to call or text whenever I have a question. Its a HUGE difference, and I honestly hate that I wasted over a year suffering through frustration and confusion with Dr. Mary Wood-Molo. It was literally the worst year of my life.

I was a gestational surrogate so the IP’s mostly dealt with everything as far as billing and such so I can’t say much about that side. However, I can say that the nurses were awful (especially Renee). I had to go there multiple times a week at times for 12 weeks for a pelvic ultrasound and lab work each time. Why the hell anyone needs a pelvic ultrasound THAT many times I will never know. The first red flag came after our failed transfer actually. The embryo failed to implant and the way the nurse spoke to me was condescending and insinuated that it was my fault that it didn’t work since “the embryo was perfect”. When I got my blood test HCG levels the first time they were low and the second call Renee said “they’re 6” (which was higher than they were originally) so I said “that’s good then, right- they’re going up!” She goes “oh I mean POINT 6” like it was not a big deal at all. False hope! Later after that one failed I already knew that my IP wanted to try again and Renee kept saying “we’ll check with them and make sure they even want to do this with you again” once again insinuating that it was my fault.Later after I was confirmed pregnant I still had to go back to their clinic weekly for a pelvic ultrasound and labs. I dreaded driving there and actually had my husband start driving me once the meds started kicking in and making me so tired I almost fell asleep at the wheel on the way home. (3 hour drive each way) We attempted to get FMLA for him in order to cover him for those missed days and for his paycheck to still be covered as well- we had to have them do the paperwork FOUR times before they finally did it correctly and by then my husband’s job wouldn’t even accept it. Which made him lose out of 4 days of work plus two attendance bonuses as those missed days now counted against him. No apology from the clinic ever. We were lied to multiple times about paperwork being sent to us, and then when they finally did fill the FMLA paperwork out correctly they called me and asked for a credit card to pay for it being done. Never mentioned that they charged for it and they said that “the billing information regarding FMLA paperwork is in our standard informational packet given at the beginning of the process” -except again, I was the surrogate and I kept every paper they gave me. The only papers I was given was about medications! Still had to pay the fee because they refused to send the paperwork in unless I paid the fee I knew nothing about- and all still with no apology. And again- after all of that and paying the fee, it was denied by his work since they received it well outside their timed guidelines. All of that to say, the clinic is chaotic and poorly run, good luck ever seeing Dr Molo (I saw her twice I believe), the nurses are rude (Renee, I’m talking about you especially), they are constantly giving excuses, and you will definitely feel like a number and not a person here.
