Quest Diagnostics

Quest on Raley Boulevard in Chico has now lost our business. We have encountered an extremely rude and condescending male phlebotemist there on our last 3 visits. At one visit he excused himself from my blood draw to go berate and bully a child who did not want to have his blood drawn. He has been rude and abrupt to both my husband and I on on separate visits. This person needs some serious customer service training. We will now go somewhere other than Quest Diagnostics.

The phlebotomists are professional but they routinely claim to have not received the lab order from the doctors office so make sure you bring your own copy. Also, it is impossible to speak to a live person if you have a question. When calling, you are continuously put on a repeated recorded loop. Customer service is not available to patients. Terrible business management.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the tech seems highly skilled in phlebotomy (taking blood) and I had no bruises or other marks after.The tech needs to be retrained and reminded that personal space is a thing. After being weighed he told me to stand against the wall for my height. I apparently stood in the wrong spot and he said “other wall” then grabbed me by the arms and moved me to the correct spot. No pause, just grab and move.The tech also measured me incorrectly or was lazy about it because he claimed I was two inches shorter than I’ve been since I was a teenager. If I were 70, hadn’t had my height measured in the last dozen years and showed signs or osteoporosis, I might be able to let this go. I’m not even 50 yet, have had regular doctors visits and no worries about bone issues currently. I mentioned it more than once after he said my new shorter height and he blew me off. So, I’ll be recorded as having a much higher BMI than I actually have which could be an issue for where these results are going.He needs lessons on customer service and should never lay his hands on anyone for any reason.PS I remeasured myself after and have no shrinkage.

There need to be more phlebotomists working during the morning hours. The wait time is unacceptable, especially, when you are dealing with elderly diabetic patients who have been fasting all night long. 1.5 hours is too long to wait. This isnt the first time this has happened, it is a regular occurrence. (The employees are very nice and friendly and the facility appears to be clean.)

Really Good. Surprisingly no even goes that quest because its on the south end Chico. The regional manager who was nice and well knowledged. She being the only employee there that day filling in for the skeleton crew sized office. She could make the small spot run. Im talking small where you wouldnt find it unless you looked it up on google maps. So 95% of the time it is slamed at one of the other locals busy, this quest will be dead

Janet is the only nurse this side of the mason Dixon line who can draw blood from my dads teeny tiny veins in his arms. Its an amazing feat, and he has teeny tiny veins in them too

My mom really likes Janet! Never have a wait when you make any appointment.

I have always had a great experience, they are professional, they know their job, and they are not only helpful but friendly.

Good physical therapy place and nice people...

Would be nice to be able call and speak to an actual human as opposed to only being automated......

Rude and they discriminate against people with autism
