AFC Urgent Care Harpers Point

Lovely new urgent care in Harper’s Point. Very nice and friendly staff. Rah and Zoey were great help. I felt comfortable and relaxed, all my needs were taken care of. You can sign up online and make the appointment. Easier clock in when you show up. Clean rooms and facility. Great medical care provided when needed urgently. Will definitely return again for medical assistance.

AFC Urgent Care Harpers Point did a great job of making healthcare accessible when a member of my family needed to be seen. A trip to the ER wasnt justified, and the primary care doctors office wasnt open. AFC made registration and sign in easy, the wait time was reasonable, and the doctor was fantastic. While I hope another visit wont be necessary any time soon, I know I can count on AFC Urgent Care Harpers Point should the need arise again.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Was hesitant to go 10 minutes before closing and honestly hated to do that to them…However, we were greeted with friendly and compassionate staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the Providers were concerned and took great care of our daughter. We were in/out and home within the hour. This never happens with other urgent care centers we have visited. Definitely recommend this location close to home!!

This was the third urgent care I went to in one night; the other two didn’t have any medical staff on site. Going forward, this will be the first place I go to. Like most reviews state, the staff was incredible. I was so upset when I came with an injury I had. Megan handled my stitches and made me feel at ease the second she greeted me. I’m grateful for the staff here getting me patched up at 7pm on a Friday. I highly recommend this place!

Came here after a poor experience at CareFirst in Mason. And WOW the difference in care! Everyone we interacted with was delightful and truly cared about the patient. We will absolutely come back to this location if we ever need an urgent care again.

I recently had to see Megan as it was after hours, so I couldn’t get into my regular doctor. She put me at ease and I was in and out in no time. The rest of the staff was friendly as well and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Very clean!

They are thorough, kind and empathetic in each interaction. Each of their staff has treated me like a long time patient, even though it is many of our firsts. It makes a lasting impact that has me sending them referrals whenever possible.

We are visiting from out of state when my son became sick and needed to be seen.I am so glad I found this facility. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We saw Dr. Matre and she was very thorough. She was compassionate and caring and extremely thorough. My son had a high fever and was diagnosed with double ear infections. She gave him a dose of Motrin and prescribed an antibiotic. Dr. Matre went above and beyond and even gave us a coupon to use at the pharmacy when I told her we were self-pay. What a blessing the people of Mason, OH have in AFC Urgent Care Harper’s Point. The kindness and care we received here will be long remembered.

The entire staff and facility is first class! I mean, they are remarkably pleasant, patient, listeners, hospitable.....and they wanna make sure they get it right so you can leave feeling confident that your health situation will be resolved! Dr. Balbach is top notch. So, should you need medical assistance - this ones hands down the best no matter the day!

Needed a DOT physical. I searched my area and AFC popped up offering the service. Went to their website. Very easy to use and set up an appointment. Got in next day. Staff were polite, honest and attentive.

I had an excellent experience with this Urgent Care location for a broken foot. I decided last minute I needed an x-ray and called at 7pm to see if theyd still take me in. I hated that I had to go in so close to closing, potentially causing staff members to have to stay late. They were kind, got me in and out as quickly as they could, and were great with communication. We will certainly make this our familys new urgent care location for non-emergency issues.

I was there for severe abdominal pain and Dr. matre was amazing. Nice and caring and helpful. She even took a phone call at home to follow up with me! I highly recommend AFC at Harpers Point and Dr. Matre!

Each time weve been there all the staff has been extremely kind and professional. We felt we received really good care here. Will definitely return when we need to.

Its a familiar story; my little girl complains of a sore throat and a headache. I pick her up from school, and I try to make a primary care appointment, but none are available. I try to walk-in at a nearby little clinic, but Im asked to wait two hours. Then I find AFC, a new urgent care in Harpers Point. The lobby is small, but comfortable. The sign-in process is digital and can be completed on your phone. The medical receptionist is pleasant and helpful. After a much shorter 30 minute wait, we see the medical assistant, who is calm and comforting. And within 5 minutes, we see the attending physician. She is kind and cheerful and she immediately puts this kid at ease. She swabs my daughters throat for strep and shortly thereafter, the results are back. I may have never had a more friendly, caring, and convenient experience from an urgent care provider. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Harpers Point.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. It’s easy to get an appointment and there is no waiting time. They are open every day of the week and will go the extra mile. They even printed out paperwork for our family of 5 when you had forgotten to. Highly recommended

Best urgent care around. Very fast and efficient and their prices were better than anywhere else i called for a TB test. Even the other AFC location.

I stoped at this place early January. I told the receptionist after she said the wait list is 3 hrs, that I have extreme chest pain. She checked with the doctor inside and came back telling me to drive to emergency room. I drove to nearby hospital to find out that I gave a heart attack in progress. Later on the result showed I gave 95% occlusion of May main coronary artery. They implanted the stent within 3 hrs from my admittance. I was EXTREMELY lucky. The urgent care supposedly called an ambulance not to let me drive 5 miles.What kind of health care providers are they. If this scenario had happened at target the will ask for ambulance and they do not let me leave.Awful, unprofessional, waisted resource.Thus was my first visit and it is going to be the last.Do NOT go there

My fiancée went in not feeling well with flu like symptoms. They tested her for the flu. Came back negative. The doctor then says it’s strep without testing. After hours of not feeling well she did an at home test for Covid and came back positive instantly. This is the second time with a bad experience. The first time the doctor came in and told her to go straight to the er because her heart rate was at 107. Terrible terrible terrible.

Outstanding experience for a pretty impressive laceration on my hand. Went in without and appointment on a Sunday afternoon and, even though there were six patients ahead of me, they got me in to get stitched up within an hour. Everyone from the front desk to the Nurse Practitioner who did the procedure were friendly, accommodating and professional. Despite the cut being messy and challenging, the NP demonstrated exceptional skill and patience closing the wound. I was amazed how good it looked afterward given the jagged, irregular wound.Lots of urgent care options available locally but its clear to me that these folks earned their high ratings.

Taking my daughter to AFC Urgent Care was a positive experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. This was the very best experience that I’ve ever had at an urgent care! I came in 20 minutes before their closing time (which I felt so bad about) with sinus pressure and an ear infection, and everyone was incredibly kind and accommodating. Plus, the Nurse Practitioner who saw me was one of the most compassionate and caring medical providers that I’ve ever met. She took the time to listen to my health history, offer guidance, and evaluate my current symptoms—plus, she stayed after closing time even though she didn’t have to. This urgent care staff really goes above and beyond for their patients.

The staff is very friendly and caring. They took care of me right away. The NP was very thorough. I would definitely recommend AFC.

I came here with facial swelling and dizziness due to some bad teeth. My dentist is planning on removing these teeth in the near future. The doctor at the urgent care was so helpful! And gave me antibiotics for my swelling. This office is very kind and fast and I’m very thankful. If you need help with anything stop by here!!! Thank you all

I couldn’t get an appointment for two weeks with my Doctor and I found this office. They got me right in and were so sympathetic. I will 100% be going there again! You should try them.

Awful experience. I had a 3:15 appointment and arrived at 3 pm with all of the registration completed online. Around 3:30 I asked to be placed in a room. They did and no one checked on me for 30 minutes- despite me being there for dehydration, nausea, and vomiting. Finally the doctor showed up after 4 pm. She gave me a shot and then said she had to check on iv supplies. She disappeared for almost 30 minutes. I had called earlier to confirm they had iv supplies. They ended up not having it and now I paid the $100 co-pay and they recommended I go to the ER.

Excellent urgent care experience. Very efficient scheduling experience, minimal wait time. Most important, the care givers attention to my symptom description and the subsequent care plan was excellent. One of the best medical care interactions I’ve had in years. I highly recommend this care staff.

I visited because I was having throat pain, congestion and fatigue. The office was very clean—everything new and modern. The check in process was quick and easy. I had testing done right on-site, and the prescription was called in to my pharmacy. This was a convenient option exactly when I needed it. I could tell that the team took pride in their service and responsibility to provide the best experience possible (even to the detail of offering a drink) which made a difference when I was feeling lousy. Not all urgent care centers are created equal—this is a good one! Thanks!

It’s still new so it’s super clean. Everyone I interacted with was very nice. They did not have a plus size BP cuff but the nurse was very open and apologetic about it so hopefully they’ll get some. The doctor called me a couple days later to follow up and give test results and she was extremely compassionate and helpful and caught a weird symptom I was having to help with diagnosis.

Easy to schedule, very professional. They were able to test and treat me there and I had a really great experience. I wish they could be my primary provider!

We scheduled an appointment for my 7 year old who we suspect has strep throat. We got a call about 15 minutes before the appointment saying they didn’t have a pediatrician working today and couldn’t see anyone under 13. Definitely unexpected as we’ve never had an age limit at any other urgent care (especially for something like strep) and this one even has “family” in its name.

Had to bring my 4-year-old son in because he had an ear infection. The front desk employees were professional and VERY sweet with my little man. They gave him a sticker and offered to give him some crayons and paper to draw (we said no because he likes to just break them in half, lol). The nurse and doctor were both very good with my son and had smiles on their face the whole time! We also didnt wait longer than 5 minutes. This is going to be my go-to urgent care! Thank you so much for taking care of my little man!

I came in for a drivers physical on Saturday and encountered a “glitch” due to an Industrial accident…Zach at the desk was the first person I encountered he was friendly, welcoming, & helpful don’t remember the name PA on duty also friendly polite, very helpful, and today it was Mikala who also was very polite and helpful.The problem I encountered upset me (nothing to do w/urgent care) I can’t say enough about Raah ..Huge cudos to Raah… she immediately calmed me, reassured me-and demonstrated excellent patient advocate skills, she went “above & beyond!!!” Raah is employee that any company would love to have and would be very proud of!!Dave Fiorilli

All members of the staff were kind and attentive. Beautiful new office and facilities. You can schedule an appointment on line and fill out all the forms there as well. Then just walk-in and tap the screen to tell them you are there. My appointment was for 2:51 and I was out and on my way by 3:25pm.

Right from scheduling, cleanliness, to quality of care this AFC clinic at Harpers Point is top notch. Runs like a well oiled machine. Very satisfied.

Absolutely the worse experience I’ve ever had at any Urgent Care in my entire life. Waited well over an hour and did not even get seen by a doctor because the person at the front desk couldn’t get us into the system. DO NOT COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT

They cared enough to tell me I needed to visit an ER instead and to go to the one in Libertycwhere I’d have less of a wait.

Please sign in on this iPad, so we can send you a text so you can sign in on your phone, so you can then fill out some paperwork. Then, instead of the doctor being concerned with my sickness, she wanted to know why I wasn’t wearing a mask, which isn’t even required at a hospital, much less some little doc in a box location. Won’t be back.

Have been coming here since they opened and the care is always awesome! Everybody is so friendly and welcoming and every visit is pleasant for both myself and my 5yo son

Excellent experience starting with the online scheduling to seeing the provider. Facilities are very clean and new. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Their appointments are worthless. If you have an appointment and then three people show up just before you get there, you are fourth in line. This is what I was told. My appointment was for 90 minutes ago, and I am still waiting.

It took so long to fill out paperwork, I signed up 8AM didnt get in until 9AM and finished 9:30AM and filled out paperwork until 11AM. It was horrible just so negligent just horrible
