Planned Parenthood - Coachella Health Center

My appointment was made during Coachella Fest (I had no idea until I left my house & was slowed by heavy traffic) I was 12 minutes late & they wouldnt see me so I rescheduled for the next day but the next morning was even worse traffic and I had a late start because my car battery was dead and it wouldnt start. Even though I gave myself 45 min to get there (its a 20 min drive any other time of the year) I was 12 minutes late again but I called b4 my appointment & told them I was having car trouble and I will wait there all day if there was any way they could fit me in because I really needed to see the doctor it was urgent and again when I got there with no air conditioning in my car and I was Over heated but at least I made it there but NO. They told me to go ahead & come back the next day So i rescheduled again for the next day & now Im in tears. I was willing to wait all day just to talk to someone for 3 maybe 5 minutes but they refused so I made a 3rd appointment for the next day praying my broken car will get me back home and make it back there one more day but the car had other plans and it died and now I will probably will too because I still havent seen a doctor and my health is declining. Too bad for me i should have went to the one in Rancho Mirage where they are a little more understanding and compassionate for people going through difficult times.

Literally the sweetest most knowledgeable staff. Lyneeka and Mariela did my Nexplannon removal and replacement and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely made me feel important and kept checking in with me to ask if I was in any pain. Whole procedure was fast and painless. Please give them a raise

I went to both planned parenthood in LA and here, but I had much better experience here. In LA, I had to make appointments for three times and I hated it. I know a lot of people don’t have a good experience with them, but I waited about only 10 mins here and they were friendly as well. I expected that’s going to be worse, but it wasn’t!People coming here have some problems already and I didn’t like the way they are stressed out about it, so thank you so much for your service.

This clinic is very unprofessional.I went through a lot because of this clinic. I came here to get an pill abortion, and it turned out they didn’t give me all the pills needed. I reported for this.During this time after taking the pills, I bled and cramped, and thought I had miscarried like supposed to. As days gone by, My temperature and body was so bad I had to go to the hospital. They told me I was still pregnant. I had to schedule for a surgical abortion. A weeks after waiting for my appointment that was scheduled out of town, the day before, my water had broke at 2 months pregnant, and I was going through a lot of pain, cramping. It was a very painful and emotional time for me.Then on another occasion, for the second time, they reschedule me before the 15 minute time frame. Even after I called to let them know I would be a few minutes late. And told me they would still see me. I arrived 4 minutes before the 15 minute mark, only to be told they had to reschedule me.I recommend the planned parenthood in rancho mirage. These women who work at this office are very unprofessional and do not care about you.

I booked an appointment 5 days earlier then i arrived at my appointment waiting at the lobby for 30 minutes. my appointment was 12:30 i got called in at 1pm. then they ask me for a urine sample then make me wait alone in the patient room for another 40 minutes? i’ve been here for an hour and a half and i still haven’t seen a doctor it’s already 1:50pm

The staff was EXTREMELY unprofessional! My girlfriend had a consultation appointment and she was ignored for over an hour because they forgot to check her in when she arrived. They told her to just sit and wait over an hour without any update until she asked what was taking so long. They finally let her in and then another nurse told her that the front desk person forgot to check her in. Everyone that she encountered there was extremely unprofessional and rude. This was the worst experience we have ever had with any health care facility we have ever visited. To ignore a patient for more than an hour with rude treatment and then to invalidate their concerns when they are seeking medical attention and turn them away is despicable. I hope the people involved during this visit at this facility see this post and take action regarding their horrendous and unprofessional conduct and make a change. This is not the way you treat people, especially at a place like planned parenthood.

The MA Rebbeca C. and one of the physicians (forgot her name ahhhhh) i believe it was Madeline, were very helpful and sweet. rebecca was very sweet, even asked me what my pronouns were and addressed me very respectfully.She was very knowledgeable. the physician answered all of my questions and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. thank you

I am traveling through town and had some female issues. I had never been to a PP and had no clue what to expect.Not only were they able to squeeze me in for an appointment, the doctor, nurses and all staff treated me with such care. They educated me, listened to me and together we made decisions for my care.Sadly the reviews on google were not good and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into.Let me tell you, I was treated better than any doctors office I have ever been too. I highly recommend PP of Coachella.

I was lucky and able to schedule an appointment online morning of (likely a cancellation). Online booking system was obviously up to the minute reliable and clear and simple. Reception staff, medical assistant and the nurse practitioner I saw were all very courteous and professional. Appointment was on time. Excellent visit.

Kind of disappointed to be writing this, because my visit was exceptional. I was seen right after checking in and I did not experience any longer than average wait times between rooms. I went for a pap and BC, because my monthly cycles were extremely painful and heavy, and due to not having heath insurance I decided to go here to get checked out. Everything went great and OB doing the pap was amazing. I never felt any type of discomfort with her or the pap. She narrated every move so I was aware of what was going on. This appointment was on 3/18 and when leaving, I was told I would be contact about any positive or abnormal results. I have access to the patient portal and have been checking it ever since. It wasnt until yesterday that I discovered I could request the results if not provided already and almost immediately after doing so they were added to my portal. After thoroughly reviewing my results, there was one test that came back as high risk and positive with a negative standard range and I had no idea what to make of it. I was confused, because I was told I would be contacted by phone (which I requested upon leaving the office the day of my appt) and I hadnt heard anything about the results. I tried sending a message through the portal and still have not received a response. I tried calling too and it has a torturous automated system that goes on for approx 5 minutes. Then it carries on while youre on hold. I could not get through to anyone in the short amount of time I had on my work break. Absolutely ridiculous. Mind you, I also havent received any letters in the mail about these positive/abnormal results. My appointment was two weeks ago. Considering this is my heath and Im looking at red flags on my results, I should be contacted about this RIGHT WHEN THE RESULTS COME IN. COME TF ON.

Covient location, less than 5 mins away from the I-10 freeway. Plenty of parking in the lot in front or public street parking.Staff are super helpful and efficient. This is the second PP office Ive been to here in the valley and I feel this office has a more knowledgeable staff. They gave me more information about their offices services and my personal options. The waiting room is very,very small. Thats why I said they were efficient because the staff was very good at keeping the patients moving. At the same time, I never felt rushed or looked at like I was just another appointment to get thru. Planned Parenthood has always been good to me, especially when I was in between jobs (health insurance). Thank you Planned Parenthood! Xoxo

Convenient location, The staff for the most part are always friendly especially the back office staff and providers. I mean most front desk staff are always rude so I expect it but I honestly havent had an issue. The online appointments and records is such an added convience as well.

Very rude front staff, They will talk badly about you in Spanish as if you don’t know Spanish. If you need a mask they literally scold you for not having it over your nose in .1 seconds while your literally adjusting it and fixing it. Made my visit very uncomfortable when PP is meant to be a safe space. Will not be coming back here for my healthcare needs, I’d rather go without.

They really need new front staff...everytime I come in there always rude and laughing, giggling, talking, hanging out in the receptionist office like there aint work to do..

If you are not Mexican they will put others in front of you even though you have an appointment and others dont.

Everyone is always so sweet and welcoming here.
