I had a biopsy today and the medical assistants and nurse practitioner did everything in their powers to calm my nerves. One held my hand through it all. They were fabulous!! Thank you Ms. Moore and the whole crew!!💕

This practice was very informative and professional. The office was super clean and organized. All staff members were attentive and informative as well. I am recommending this office to everyone that asks.

The office staff is courteous. The nurse who draws blood does an excellent job. Every nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and kind. The OB that I saw made me feel taken care of. I delivered a healthy boy. Because of materni21 testing and the advocacy of someone at waverly I am receiving treatment for cancer that I otherwise may not have even found. They were truly with me every step of the way.

It took me 3 months to mentally prepare myself to write this review. 2 stars because Dr. Heer ordered all the right tests. Zero stars for bedside manners and preparing patients for care. This was my first pregnancy. I was neither given the pregnancy package that is available for all new patients nor given the 24/7 number to call after hours. Unfortunately, my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but I can assure you this review is not written out of anger. Upon the first ultrasound, Dr. Heer told me “If you see blood, go to the ER, but nobody can help you anyway.” I kept the 2nd appointment because I needed to know my HGC quantitative value. At the second appointment, she down played my condition and told me “just speak to any woman, it’s so common.” I was contacted by clinical coordinator to follow up with my experience but still was not given any information on home care. All I was offered was an anonymous report to Dr. Heer to be more considerate of when speaking to patients. There is no care team here. I had to google all information after leaving the office. My primary care took over my OB care where I was not only given information on care but also offered emotional support.

Im giving a shout out to all the employees of Waverly Womens Healthcare. Its always been a pleasure being a patient at this doctors office. Everyone is always kind and respectful of others. Shantell great job on the lab works that you do. Alex and Ms. Linda is always great with patients checking them and checking them out. ❤️💐❤️💐

Saw Dr Hair for annual Pap Smear check up. She talked me through it. She was excellent.

Sorieda always goes above and beyond to help me with any questions I have. I always feel very welcomed when I come in.

The service here is always pleasant. However, I end up sitting in the waiting room for at least an hour for every appointment. If my appointment is scheduled for 9:40 I know I won’t be called back until at least 10:40. This happens for almost every appointment. There are not a lot of seats in the waiting room and it it gets very irritating.

The staff here are AMAZINGGG! Very polite , helpful and got me signed up for programs that will help me cover my visits.

I started out loving this clinic - they were quick to set up my maternal care, and they have been great in the in-person appointments. Theyve been attentive to my issues when I am at the appointments and speaking with the medical professional directly. The reason for my 3-star review is due to the severe lack of communication in-between appointments. Ive had some questions and concerns with my pregnancy, and every time I try to call the clinic and speak with a nurse for advice, I get pushed to voicemail. I dont receive callbacks for these voicemails. They also moved offices in January and did not update any of their patients about the change until 48 business hours after the move, which meant I showed up at the old office in that period and waited outside of a locked (and empty office), along with 5 other women stuck in the same position. To be fair, I do believe the lack of communication is directly related to the chaos that comes with moving buildings, but its distressing to call the clinic with a legitimate question or request for an update and to hear nothing back. I only get information I need at my in-person appointments. I really hope Waverly Womens Health Center can work out effective means of communicating to patients who call in with questions about lab results, pain management, and concerns that dont necessarily require an ER visit.

Friendly staff and very patient. The nurses and doctors have always taken me seriously and have been very thorough with any concerns I had. Great customer service as well and not very long wait times. I definitely recommend.

I am currently 37 almost 38 weeks pregnant with my first and I have been coming here since the beginning. The staff all act like they absolutely hate their job and more than half of them cant even spare a smile. They dont seem that interested in your care, its like theyre just there to make money and go home. I have yet to meet with a doctor, Ive only ever seen nurse practitioners. I have no idea whos supposed to be delivering my baby. Every time I have a concern its usually brushed off with thats just pregnancy. God forbid I need to reach them on the phone, thats basically impossible. It genuinely seems every time Im there they do the bare minimum and try to rush me out. Would not recommend this place and I definitely wont be coming back for any future pregnancies. The only good thing I have to say is Ms. Moore and Ms. Hill are both so very nice and I look forward to seeing them. Thats it.

The front staff (Soreida, Mauricha, and Linda) showed excellence customer service. My provider (Ms. Hill) explained everything thoroughly and made sure i understood my procedure. The staff was friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Waverly Clinc. I was nervous, but everyone there made the environment very relaxing and comfortable. They answered all of my questions and led me through all of the process with great care.

Edit: I got a call back from the Women’s center a week later and was able to make an appointment. After my appointment I decided to change my rating, only because of the doctor and nurses. The doctor was very kind and nice and I was able to get my prescriptions the same day while I was there. My only complaint would be how hard it is to call and get an appointment made with the Women’s center.I can’t even get anyone to answer the phone, I was able to get an appointment for my child at the pediatrics office and the family center has been so helpful with my questions but I’ve been trying to reach the Women’s center since Monday, all week I have called and no one has answered.

This office was very nice. The office staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The doctor was very knowledgeable about what I have going on. It’s good to be well taken care of thank you 😊

BEST CLINIC EVER! The staff is very friendly and comforting. It’s almost like being around family when I’m there. This is honestly like my home away from home. I’m typically quiet and don’t open up, but here it’s like they get me.

I have been treated at this facility for a year and have received AMAZING care.NP Hill and Dr. Thapa are AMAZING at what they do. They give you eye contact, they listen to you, are compassionate and thoughtful! They came up with a care plan that has given me outstanding results.The staff from checking in and out has a caring and thoughtful approach. My experience at this care facility has been AMAZING! My experience is always a good one with this doctors office. I am currently pregnant and came here with my first baby. They are nice and amazingly fast. Everything is orderly and done with care. Love it here! Soreida is also super nice and a always has a great smile to give you. 😊

I love the care I receive there. The staff recognizes me when I walk in, and they ask how I am even if Im not seeing their team that day. They rotate you through the doctors, so youll get a chance to work with all of them and not be surprised on your delivery day if someone else is scheduled. I had a problem at first making my initial appointment back in July, because no one would answer the phone. However, every time I have called since they picked up. The longest I had to wait after my scheduled appointment was 10 mins, and that was right after all the flooding was going on so I expected delays. The office is clean and well stocked. The waiting room has comfortable chairs and couches and plenty of space, so you dont feel crowded by the other patients. I was extremely nervous at first, since Im going to be a very young mother, but the staff always makes me feel welcomed, and they even gave me advice for setting up insurance for my baby and finding a pediatrician.

They helped provide the best resources to help get me through my pregnancy journey.

I chose this practice after relocating back to Columbia. I saw that my son could be seen by Five Points Pediatrics so I decided to have my primary doctor and obgyn here as well. There are some great nurses and doctors here. The pharmacy staff are great as well. However, when it comes to scheduling and valuing your time, they need to improve. Ive waited close to an hour with an appointment at Waverly Family Practice on one occasion, had my appointment rescheduled twice. The first time they called and stated that she would not be in. The second time they called but I was at work and missed the call. They proceed to reschedule the appointment without leaving me a voice message. I only saw that it was changed after receiving an email. I had to call in and again there reason was due to her being off that day. I already had taken off of work both times that this happened. Unprofessional and they do not value your time as a patient.

I have had the best experience here at Waverly, the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. All of the providers i’ve seen have always made me feel right at home and very well supported.

My doctor is Ms. Moore. The nurses were very caring and prompt but I felt like my annual pap was rushed so I couldn’t really address the issues I’ve been having. Ms Moore just didn’t seem like she really cared. But I’ve had issues here before during my pregnancy my ob made an offensive comment towards me but I looked passed it and continued coming to their office. Alex at the front desk is awesome!

I’ve been a patient for years. It’s always warm and inviting. The new building is so vibrant and amazing. They have also improved on the wait times.

I dont think this place should get any stars. I am 9 months pregnant and have gone to them the whole time. They cant keep track of their patients because you see a different doctor every time, most of them dont even care about their jobs at all and will walk in and walk out. I wait at least 2 hours every time i go there and the one time i got up to use the bathroom they called me and I had to wait another 45 minutes to be seen because they skipped me. (Even though they have to let you in to the restroom.) The other thing is they dont know how to answer a phone to save their lives. I called for 10 days straight and left a message to reschedule an appointment and left a message (detailed) every time and no one called me until after I had missed my appointment. I feel completely unwelcome and will never go back to this place after I deliver. Oh and I drive 1.5 hours to get there because I wanted to make sure I had a female doctor. Next time I will do better research.

I made several calls over the course of two weeks and left several voicemail messages with my contact info asking to schedule an appointment. Their answering machine says that they will call you back within 24-48 hours, but they have yet to return my calls.They also turn their phones off half an hour before their schedule closing time, and your call gets sent to an off-site operator.I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism from a doctors clinic in my life and I dont think I will schedule an appointment with them even if they decide to get back to me.

If I could leave no stars I would !!!!!! This is a terrible doctors office they do not answer the phone when you leave messages they lost my labs and asked me to come in for more labs to replace the labs they lost and then charged me twice for their mistake!!! The office manager HOPE ANDERSON does not answer none of her voicemails or give a call back. I’ve left messages for the past two weeks and no response My insurance company sent them a letter telling them they made a coding error and they still have not fixed it and now am paying over $500 in doctors bills off of a coding error they made ! Do not become a patient here you will not be treated well at all !!!

Had a great experience at WWHC. I was referred here by Tricare. Please do take into consideration that people really only post reviews when they have a bad experience. The woman at check-in was extremely polite and helpful, spent (maybe?) 5 minutes tops waiting to be called back and I wasn’t even finished with my paperwork. They immediately took my weight and height, then brought me into a room where someone was already waiting inside for me to start my IUD consultation! When she was finished, she told me the doctor would be in shortly and she came in about 2 minutes. She had me complete some tests (pregnancy, STD/STI, etc) and came back in the room about a minute after I was done. Everyone was patient and took time to answer any and all of my questions. They were all super friendly, kind, and even cracked a few jokes with me to ease my blood pressure. The reviews kind of turned me off at first but I’m glad I went through with it because i had a GREAT experience. I will 100% be returning here and I can’t wait for my next appointment!

If I could give more stars, I would. The entire staff from check in to check out was phenomenal. The medical team was very attentive, I didn’t feel like I was being rushed or words were being put into my mouth. My concerns were addressed throughly. Wait time was minimal. Waverly Women’s Health team is truly awesome!

This place is the worst place to go for any type of care. If I could give them no stars and post a sign outside of their office telling mothers that this place doesnt care about you, your baby or anything else! That they are making a huge mistake if they walk into this door! I would inform them doctors and nurses are very unprofessional never stays on task, never takes responsible for misleading information given to patients. On simple ultrasound appointment, delivery dates, and testing need this 9 months of my pregnancy thank God has been healthy, but for those who have issues please I urgent you to find better care! Not from here this place is not a place for anyone to go!

You never see the same doctor. Theyre terrible at relaying messages. I called in November to be seen for my first OB appt, and couldnt be seen until March. My birth experience was terrible- my doctor didnt know me from a hole in the wall- we had never met after 6 months of pregnancy. I had specific issues that were brought to their attention and needed to be addressed, but instead I was put on the back burner and then treated like a lepper when I gave birth, and after. I shouldve learned from my first experience w my daughter but supposedly they have the best OB in Columbia- Moore- who once again I only saw ONE TIME. His father didnt get to attend a single appointment w me & didnt know anything about his first born until we were sitting in Prisma. Absolutely would not recommend this practice to ANYONE, even though I was finally taken care of by a 2 LPNs & 1 doctor. Every other employee was disappointing. The experience was disappointing. If you need extra help, or have a special circumstance, find you another OB. This is not the place you want to go, and you do not want them to deliver your child. Asking for help, pregnant, thru my OB, and being treated as negatively as I was and then being discriminated against, seriously this is not somewhere you want to have a child birthing experience with. My problems were downplayed but then once Im sitting in the hospital they put my problems on the front line as if I wasnt worried about it and asked for help already, it was really screwed up. Also, my c-section was scheduled but he decided to come 2 days early, and the night (midnight) that I went into labor, the doctor on call tried to wait until the morning to come in instead of coming in when she was called & informed that I was there for a c-section and that my water had broken. I overheard her say it on the phone when she was speaking w my nurse. The nurse replied that he had passed his first stool inside of me, and then she decided that she would come in. She also left the OR before I was sewn up and left me for the other people in the OR to finish sewing me up, so she could go get a few more hours of sleep. Verbatim.

This place was great during my pregnancy. They were friendly and helpful throughout it. The only downside to me was that it took forever for me to get to see my baby and find out the gender. They dont do imaging here so you have to go to another practice to see it. It took forever for me to know when they scheduled it and made it hard for me to plan a gender reveal party. Also, going somewhere else for the imaging was awkward since I didnt know anyone there. I had to redo paperwork that I had already done at Waverly. That was my only frustration.

I love the new office. Very spacious and nice. They have upgraded. The staff was very friendly and doctor Hill was amazing as always.

I have never been more upset about wasting money on a doctors appointment in my life! My main reason for even scheduling this doctors appointment was not even resolved. I didnt even take a pregnancy test which is standard at gynecologist appointments. Very disappointed and will NOT be returning for this supposed follow up to waste more of my money!

I was referred here by NoDrama.com for an IUD placement after my insurance wouldnt cover it as a preventive. The ladies here are amazing! They were timely, efficient, and caring. I felt right at ease with nurse Mashonda and Nurse Practitioner QuattlebaumFront office staff was great as well.Definitely recommend this clinic, 100%

The entire staff here is fantastic. The first doctor office that I have genuinely felt heard, listened to and a no judgment area.

They are the worst thus far. Its a nice facility with nasty, unprofessional, rude, and an uneducated medical staff. I wouldnt recommend this place to a dog. Not to mention they left a mass better known as a cyst inside of me and I had to find another doctor to have it removed. Shame on these people.. I lost a life trusting these women, yet i was blessed with another one and i thank my new doctor for all that she has done to correct these womens mistake/error. But most of all, she shows and proves that she cares.

I used to love this place. For the last month they have hired new people to work at the check out counter and the appointment desk. They do not answer the phone. They give ingo that is not correct on you appointments. I have tried calling for about 2 weeks straight about getting the right appt that im am supposed to be schedule for. It is ridicoulous trying to get them to answe. I have called several times a day .

I had such a great experience, from the receptionist staff, lab staff to the nurse Mrs. Maria and my doctor Dr. Debra Davis, they are sweet awesome ladies and they made sure I was fully informed on everything and provided me with great care! I never leave reviews and I’m not sure where the bad reviews are coming from, but they are very worthy of this review! See you next visit!

My wife called the Harden Street Columbia, SC Office today to make an appointment...absolutely the worst reception ever experienced. I called the office afterwards to see if I could and received the same treatment...Whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional - she actually hung on my wife. If you are referred here by Tricare, DO NOT ACCEPT THIS SERVICE PROVIDER and file a formal complaint with Tricare.

Jennifer is an absolute asset to the team here at Waverly Women’s Health Center on Devine Street in Columbia, SC. Any questions, issues or problems I’ve ever had as far as processing any paperwork needed or appointment concerns or questions she’s never hesitated to help me and make sure everything is done correctly. This office runs better because of her hard work.

There customer support is terrible they won’t even allow non patients to go in with there loved ones better yet you can’t even sit in the lobby cause your not a patient you have to wait outside till your loved one is finished, if I could give half a star I would because that’s just crazy.

The nurse and Doctor were pretty OK. My issue is the privacy. Did it ever occurred to anyone that each exam room should have curtains? Its really DISTURBING when you are on the table, spread eagle and a nurse walk in, you can see down the hallway. THATS A HUGE PROBLEM.

I have never been to a place that’s so unprofessional. I am a young pregnant patient & I was trying to get medical papers filled out because of back pain and being on my feet a lot because of school but Sharon Hill a practicing student there told me and clapped her hands at me that she not putting me on there until it’s time for my pregnancy then I called mother, Sharon Hill wanted to fight my mom then called the police when my mother ask for a compliant number they told her to wait then called the police on her. I’m changing doctors because of them. I advice anybody do not go up there and get help they is unprofessional.

I TOO was referred here by Tricare. I changed my referral to else where because my first impression over the phone wasn’t a good one and also after reading these reviews I decided not to waste my time. I hate to not really give them a chance after only interacting over the phone, but first impressions are lasting. I take my care/treatment very seriously.

Horrible! Wait times, same furniture since 08 with my first child literally no remodeling at least since 08 throughout the whole office. u see a different doctor every appointment if u discuss something with one doctor then see another doctor the next time they act like u dont know what youre talking about. For instance Im 35 wks preg one doctor said my next appointment bring my paperwork to get out of work due to stress High demand etc, well I go back with paperwork and was not no I need to go back to work until my due date how unprofessional is that! The doc who said that is gone until mid December and now Im stuck I told my job I would be out now I have to go back. They expect u to go in labor at work 1/2 stars if I could do it

They purposely ignore the phones, forcing you to come into the office. Employees are rude, not professional…this establishment is an insult to all OBGYN clinics..how this place still exists is beyond me.

I had the absolute worst experience at this place , I was seen by Dr. Agyenim-Boateng and he was rude and disrespectful. He criticized me for things that were out of my control and refused to do an ultrasound . I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and uncaring. I refuse to go back to this place and will be transferring to a different doctors office.

This place full of ish it should only be for ob patients. Waited 3 months for an appt only to reschdule another 3 months out cause the dr not gonna be there i cant see another dr but its kinda funny when you pregnant they play musical Drs and leave you guessing who you will see when you go back. Yea yall answer the phone now but hell for what yall not helping me none i aint wanna see that dr anyway.

I make 10 phone calls in 2 days, literally on the 10th phone call I finally get my answer, yet it is not a satisfied answer for me. They either transfer me to another line that there’s no one to answer or hang up on me without let me finish what I say, and this is a place that our military cooperate with? The Worst experience, I will tell them to change my wife’s referral to another place indeed.

It is usually a difficulty to communicate at this place in Spanish they never answer and in English if you are lucky. I should have had an appointment for care 6 months after surgery, Im going for 8 months and they havent scheduled an appointment for me. I was only able to get in touch once, they said they would call me and they never have. But like everything that has its flaws, I can also say that both the doctors and the nurses are very kind.
