This organization is a life saver! The staff is awesome! It is so quick and easy to get what you need and its anonymous. They only accept the first 60 people on the three days they are open (Tues & Wed 4pm-8pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm) so you should arrive by 7:15 (12:15 Sat). Make sure you save your needles too, because it is a full on exchange program . You can only pick up as many as you drop off. They also have other supplies you can get (free) like bandaides, antibiotic ointment, condoms, tampons, safe injection kits & Narcan. They also have a medical bus there on Wednesday from 4pm-7pm if you need medical attention.

Been utilizing the program since it was first started and was held in the Short North at the (previously ARC Medical Center) Equitas Clinic! Staff and Volunteers have always been friendly, compassionate, attentive, non-judgemental, kind and just all around pleasant! The environment is relaxed and safe; never have i had a bad experience and i can honestly say that I cannot personally come up with anything negative to say! Thank you to all of the people who allow this program to exist and give their time and energy doing this to help those who need and use the program!!!!

There needs to be more places around the world like safepoint. It’s such a blessing in the community. All the people within are volunteers and you can tell they genuinely are doing it out of their hearts to help others be safe and make an impact on our community. I have personally seen a lot of sad, poor, and dangerous situations in my life out of desperation and safepoint is helping to change that, one person at a time. The spread of disease is an obvious concern for people like myself. Especially being gay, it makes me think of consequences to my actions even more. This place offers so many services for absolutely free that make me feel comfortable and a little bit safer in my day to day life. From my first visit, I immediately felt safe and comfortable with the friendly staff to talk and ask questions. They are very knowledgeable and have a ton of resources to literally any needs you may have. And if they do not have your answer, they will do everything they can to get it. I know I’m just rambling now but I just have so many wonderful things to say about them. God bless safe point❤️

Really nice people trying to help a marginalized group stay safe and healthy! Very positive atmosphere and I would volunteer there agian anytime. I would recommend getting there AT LEAST a half hour early as there is a big demand and long line. They have limited funding and can only serve so many so be early to insure service.

Staff is great, friendly, very non judgemental, very educated and extremely supportive! There is a Columbus Police Officer onsite, but not to cause you any trouble. I think they have to be there due to the manor on hand, but they are nice and friendly. Thank God we have a place like this in Franklin County. Thank you Safe Point staff!

Safe Point, along with the best woman Ive ever had the opportunity to meet, Elizabeth, are providing those who are fighting addiction a safe place to feel comfortable along with CPD to get clean, safe equipment as well as numerous resources to help you when youre ready to seek help! They make those who are addicts and especially homeless feel like no matter what we are cared about! Thank you 😊

Safe Point is a crucial part of many in and around Franklin County. They offer clean needles, disposal of old AND used ones. They offer counsoling services all across the board, and can refer you to go int the right direction for what you need. The main reason why I am writting this is to let someone know who is out there in a situation, there is help. Help from a great, educated, funny, non-judgmental, caring people who make up the Safe Point Staff. Without these peolple the spread of HIV, STD, HEP etc. would be on the rise, but instead THEY ARE ON THE DECLINE.Thank you Safe Point and keep the good work

Its a nice option and thing to do esp to TRY &&& STOP the spread of diseases ETC. And gives addicts the Option and gives access too clean aka new needles , alcohol pads, triple antibiotic ointment, bandaids various sizes, tie offs, clean sterile cottons, containers too do it on thats clean new and sterile.... only thing is people that go there standing in line whether its before they go in or after throw their trash all over the property and properties next too it which is bs.
