After years of visits, I don’t have anything but positive things to say about Dr. Lawrence, her staff, and the staff at the Glen Lakes office. She worked with me trying multiple scenarios trying to get my lining ready and SHE DID. We have a son that’s a result of lots of prayers, Dr. Lawrence’s intelligence, and her staff. Jenny and Kelly are 2 of our favorite staff members, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot, you don’t be disappointed.

Edit: Dr. Lawrence ended up personally calling me to discuss my situation; she also did the extra leg work of calling my OBGYN and the lab that handled my miscarriage. While initially I felt she didn’t handle my situation well, I do feel that she made it right in the end.************************I have been a patient of Dr. Lawrence for over a year. In that year I have only seen her three times even though I have had four IUI’s and countless sonograms. My husband and I recently had a consultation with her about moving on to IVF. A month ago I had a miscarriage from conceiving naturally. Our pathology report showed that the miscarriage was suggestive of a partial molar pregnancy. At the time of my consultation with Dr. Lawrence, I could not remember if a miscarriage was a partial mole or full mole . That makes a big difference on protocols on recovery, and when it is safe to try and conceive. From what I understand, depending on your case, doctors might recommend waiting to try and conceive anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Dr. Lawrence did not wait for my OB/GYN to send her my actual pathology report. Instead she decided to consult with an oncologist about my case, which she did not have the records for, then she had her receptionist call me to let me know that she had done that and that the oncologist said that I should wait a year to try to conceive. This is after letting me know in a consultation that at my age, 37 my egg quality was still decent, but that by 38 really starts to decline.I think that the way that she handled this case was so unprofessional on so many levels. I also think that the fact that she had a receptionist call me to tell me the snooze and she didn’t even call me herself or at least have her nurse call me to talk with me about this was also incredibly unprofessional.I don’t believe that Dr. Lawrence really pays attention to her individual patients and look specifically at their individual cases and that makes me feel very unsafe. At this point, I definitely would not feel comfortable, giving her thousands of dollars and trusting her with my fertility future and I would really caution other people as well.

Dr. Lawrence is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and has incredible bedside manner. Rachel the receptionist is amazing! Always quick to respond and very nice. Jill, Kelly and Jennifer (nurses) are great too. We got pregnant with our first medicated iui cycle and we were overjoyed. Unfortunately it wasnt viable and it sucks. I would still recommend Dr. Lawrence as the outcome did not change my opinion of her. Shes great and will help you through every step of the way.

I dont understand why this doctor and her team dont have 5 out of 5 stars. This office has supplied the best care to me during this difficult time. Even though they do this everyday, they make me feel like I am the only person they are caring for from their kind words during the visit to the fast email response when I am at home needing answers for my google research on things I dont understand. Dr. Lawrence is super detailed on issues if any and a solid plan to help accomplish the goal of being pregnant. They try to come up with ways for you to save money. Kelly and Ashley are the sweetest most knowledgeable nurses EVER! The sonogram nurse Candace has talked me through tears and fears and is just SOOO amazing. Marissa is always smiling and so polite. Her positivity is a welcomed need in the atmosphere of infertility. I could honestly write all day about how amazing the staff is. If you are reading this comment and you are wondering if you should choose this office. I am just going to tell you now. I looked ALL OVER DFW and this office is truly the best. They do monitoring and appointments that other offices do not do and they even offer a HUGE discount if you pay upfront! Save your time and choose this office; I promise you wont be sorry!

Dr. Laura Lawrence is without a doubt the best fertility specialist in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. Before selecting Dr. Lawrence I interviewed four other fertility specialists. I chose Dr. Lawrence because she is intelligent, humble, compassionate and genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Lawrence will discuss all the available options and answer all the many questions a patient may have. In addition to being a great physician, Dr. Lawrence has an amazing staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses are truly amazing. I also value the fact that Dr. Lawrence’s nurses are very responsive to telephone calls and emails. I would not choose or recommend any other physician. I truly feel blessed to have found Dr. Lawrence.

We started seeing Dr. Lawrence last October after some friends referred us. Our experience was not the same as theirs, unfortunately. The staff was very friendly, but in paying to see a fertility specialist, I expected to have access to the doctor. From October to June of this year, I only saw Dr. Lawrence face-to-face twice. My husband never met her in person, just on our initial consultation phone call. I did see her in the hallway before our first IUI attempt where she asked me if I was ready to try again? I replied, well, Im ready to try! She went into did you change your hair? to diffuse the awkwardness. She happened to be the on-call doctor for my first IUI attempt which fell on a weekend, and she did my procedure. Following the procedure, she stayed in the room for a few minutes to tell me that if this doesnt work, well have to start discussing my aging eggs. This was really unhelpful and made it hard to relax. None of my test results gave any indication that there was an issue with my egg quality. I found that Dr. Lawrence talked more than she listened. She immediately started suggesting IVF and throwing out stats of how low our odds of conceiving were. I really felt like since I wasnt open to IVF, that I was dismissed. I only saw nurses from this point on, and could never get Dr. Lawrence on the phone to answer any questions. My first cycle, I was given a 28-day calendar even though I had been tracking 26-27 day cycles for two years. Our second cycle, my husband had a 3-day business trip that I was concerned would fall during ovulation. I wanted to skip this month, but was assured that it was too early in my cycle. Of course, after taking a course of letrozole, I ovulated before my husband returned. It was very frustrating to say the least, since I had tried to discuss this possibility. I was told my body did not react to the medication the way that they had anticipated. We had another unsuccessful IUI attempt with a nurse that was better timed, but no luck. After this, I requested that Dr. Lawrence be present for our next appointment. I was offered an appointment over a month out which meant skipping another cycle. We made the decision to switch specialists at this point, and I am so glad we did! We are currently 15 weeks pregnant following our first IUI attempt with the new fertility specialist. You can read my other reviews for our experience with that office.

For the person reading this review, I imagine you have some understanding of the challenges that may or may not come with trying to have children. Selecting the right fertility doctor is key in helping you start, continue, or complete your family. I think it’s important to have your own idea of what TTC looks like for you prior to interviewing fertility doctors. It’s also important to learn to trust your gut. I’d be remiss if I did not say a doctor who may not be a good fit for me, may possibly be a good fit for you. This is my experience with Dr. Lawrence, so feel free to eat the meat and spit out the bones because my hope your experience will be different than mine.Long story short, after taking several months to decide if I wanted to pursue fertility treatments. Upon the recommendation of a colleague, I decided to meet with Dr. Lawrence to obtain her opinion of what my options looked like. Though I was pretty confident on the fertility doctor I wanted to move forward with, I figured I owed it to myself and future children to at least get an additional opinion. The day of my appointment I arrived early. After doing the initial blood pressure and weight check, I was placed in examination room and told to take everything off (including ALL undergarments). I was, however, given a paper robe to put on. I was told the Dr. Lawrence would be in shortly. I waited 45 minutes in the examination room with no one checking in on me or telling me the doctor got behind schedule. So, I waited there cold and basically naked that entire time. At the 45 minute mark, I got dressed went to the staff member up front, advised I was leaving and to refund my co-pay. She expressed an apology for the long wait, the doctor was running behind, but was now ready to see me. I politely said no thank you and left.A few hours later I received a call from Dr. Lawrence expressing her sincere apologies---which I deeply appreciated and believe was warranted. She made sure to express that my time was valuable and continued to express her apologies. She then elected to share her diagnosis of me based on the information she had of me from 7 months ago. Not knowing that my numbers had actually improved and her information is outdated. You see, I wanted a thorough second opinion and did not want her to base the opinions of my situation based on the blood work of another doctor. Moreover, the recent bloodwork she was unaware of would have shown a vast improvement due to my lifestyle changes—but again, she didn’t know this information because instead of asking or taking the time to talk to me, Dr. Lawrence elected to spew a bunch of hopeless statistics of motherhood and reducing my chances as IVF being the only way. I don’t disagree that IVF may be the route I take in an effort to conceive, but I also feel IUI is an option or simply giving me suggestions to better my chances at conceiving either naturally or with the help of IVF. I think it is very important when treating someone in such a sensitive area to speak words full of life and hope. Bedside manner starts before coming in contact with the patient and post examination—the overall experience in my opinion. Fortunately I took my ear away from the phone when she recited her discouraging facts of how low my chances at motherhood would be. My overall issue is Dr. Lawrence’s timing and taking away the sincerity of her apology when she turned it into a lecture on a bleak future of motherhood. Bad timing, Dr. Lawrence and simply an unnecessary addition to your apology. Fortunately I am in a good space mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Despite her discouraging treatment and words, I sincerely believe that I will have children with the help of God, my husband, positive thinking, continual lifestyle changes, and my fertility doctor. I’ll be sure to post a picture of my bouncing baby when I do.It’s important to have a physician who will speak life and encourage you throughout this journey—despite the potential outcomes. To end, I wish the very best to every person looking for ways to start their family.

I began seeing DrLawrence after a recommendation from my OB. She was very kind and very understanding of my history of losing my son. I have only met a handful of drs like her. However, her office staff, namely Kelly an LVN that is the one responsible for scheduling you for procedures and giving you your schedule with each cycle is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. The first cycle we did, they communicated well and it was a very easy cycle. It didn’t take, so I called to let them know my cycle had started, they asked me to come in for an ultrasound, then I left, she almost immediately called me back to have blood work done to make sure I wasn’t pregnant. I wasn’t. That was it for communication. No calendar no nothing. My pharmacy called me to let me know my clomid was ready for pick up. So I picked it up. Used the calendar for the last cycle since I hadn’t received one, and because it was a weekend so I couldn’t call. The next week I got a call from the specialty pharmacy that my trigger shot was ready. So I ordered it. AFTER, that is when Kelly called me to tell me when to take the shot. I didn’t have it yet since I wasn’t given a calendar or a phone call. I told her after my ultrasound I asked for a calendar and never got one so I was going off the last calendar. She proceeded to get really defensive and argumentative. I had to drive from Arlington to Dallas to pick up and “extra” shot. So I would have it on time. So I did. When I got to the office she came out into the hallway to give me the shot and was so condescending and rude. There was another patient out there that was in as much shock as I was at how completely unprofessional and rude Kelly was to me. I called and spoke to the office manager and got a cookie cutter response of “this is not normal for her and I will talk to her” I finished out my cycle. And have done some deep consideration on if I even wanted to continue with this office and I finally arrived at no. I will look elsewhere for another provider. Dr. Lawrence, was the two times I saw her was very nice. But her nurse needs to find another profession. And this is coming from a 16 year nurse. If you can’t be nice to your patients and listen to them without becoming unprofessional then you either need a new job or to leave nursing altogether. That nurses extreme unprofessionalism is costing a great doctor her patients.

Dr. Lawrence was absolutely amazing! She was very nice and made me feel comfortable. However, the people who handle the billing are terrible. I highly recommend this place if you like doing their job and getting nowhere! Not only did they delay everything for 5+ moths but I ended up paying interest on a loan I didn’t even use!!! If possible STAY AWAY FROM LINDA PRYOR.

I am was truly disappointed and frustrated with this fertility clinic. My main complaint is the disorganization and sloppy work environment. On the first appointment, I asked if this clinic as within my network. I was told it was, she told me my deductible and out of pocket maximum. Then 1 ultra sound, blood work and 2 ultra sounds later...my fiancé I and decided to move forward with ivf. On the DATE we called to start ivf I was informed that thier lab was out of network. I asked several times about the price for ivf, every time I came for an appointment and they were not truthful with me UNTIL the day I was emotionally ready to start the process.I also felt like I was treated like a number. Dr.Lawrence continued to over talk me and wouldn’t let me get a word in. It’s like she was a used car salesmen instead of a fertility Dr.Now we have to start this process all over again with another clinic. My fiancé traveled for work and he had scheduled time off, now he has to do it ALL OVER again.I do not recommend this fertility clinic to anyone, maybe this was a blessing in disguise.

I had very bad experience with this dr and office, they force me to pay for IVF before starting the baseline and I payed 2450 for office cycle and 5250 for lab results but unfortunately after 14 days I had only 2 eggs and dr. Lawrence wants to continue and prepare me for retrieval, I did some research and realized that with less than 5 eggs it is high risk of success and asking her some questions and she told it is up to you and I decided to cancel the cycle☹️ right now after 3 weeks I still in waiting to get back my money and nobody is responsible.I am so depressed and it looks like they don’t want return back my money while they didn’t do anything for me.So my advice is please research and don’t pay all money one time to them.Doctor just want the money.

The worst customer service! They need to improve how they speak and manage customer requests. She had the audacity to hang up the phone on my face when I was talking... I was trying to make sure I get my medical records on time for my consultation with my OB. This request was already made 20 days ago and so far I have not received anything!
