Our appointment was with Dr. Salamanca. His assistant was helpful and kind as we were being seen. The Dr. Was great explained everything very well. Our appointment time was 10:50 and it is now 12:20 and we are in car waiting for it to cool of while doing this review. Have a great day.

The most unfriendly office staff I have ever encountered. Im sorry, but a dinner plate has more personality. Had to wait to schedule surgery, got a call out of the blue with a voicemail saying they had scheduled it... I was not asked if that date worked for me. They treated me like I was the one being rude when I asked to reschedule. Cant reschedule classes.I called to see about having my implant removed because its bothering me and was told the appointment would be 2 weeks out. Refused to let me switch to a different doctor to get in sooner. Left a voicemail for the nurse and never received a call back. Removing it takes barely 10 minutes.Such amazing patient care... I cut it out of my own arm. If youre not pregnant, you dont matter. Hospitals wont help either.I liked my doctor. Unfortunately, after all of this I will not be going back.

I’ve been going to Heart of FL OBGYN for about five years and without fail practically every single time I make an appointment, I have to reschedule due to the doctor not being in. I work two jobs, so finding a day off is hard enough, waiting 2+ months for an appointment on average, waiting hours in the waiting room, and ultimately not being seen every time is absolutely ridiculous! I actually had to go to elsewhere a couple times just for regular checkups....Being responsible, trying to keep on top of your health, and seeing a doctor should not be such a painfully difficult process. As a patient, I’ve felt unimportant and inconvenienced way too many times.

Not enough good reviews and Im sure many can agree with me that we all have a bad days.I work for a neurology office and although it may not be the same line of work I can say I understand the pressure these nurses must go threw, My experience here was great, walked in immediately got attended with a laughter and smile must have been a good day for these ladies, the wait was no issue, everyone was kind and generous, met with Midwife Allison and I must say I love her she made me feel so comfortable to the point where I dont care where I have to travel as long as Im being seen with her, definitely earned 5 stars.Ellie

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely unprofessional. I am 17 weeks pregnant and had a positive UTI test from a drug store. Called several times and did not receive a call back. Went to the office and was told to go to urgent care because the doctor hadn’t seen me in the last 3 weeks. I was accused of not coming in for my ultrasound. This is a lie. I was receiving temporary care until I move to Pennsylvania. I made my situation clear at every visit. I guess I don’t deserve prenatal care because I am not able to deliver with this practice. I would never choose to deliver with them. They would probably send me to urgent care to deliver my baby.

If I could give no stars I would. My doctor is awesome but his front office staff is something to be desired. They make you wait hours to be seen. If the doctor has to leave they do not communicate. They do not return phone calls.I am 5 dpo on my hysterectomy and they refused to fax over to my employer my disability paperwork because they say it goes against HIPPA. That’s a lie. They do not communicate what is going on with paperwork. But they will withhold service until they are paid.If you are looking for a great doctor but crappy staff that doesn’t adhere to scheduled appointment times this is the place for you. I will be switching to another office once I am released from his care.

What’s the point of making an appointment when doctors call you in whenever? Waiting 1-2 hours for a check up is pretty rediculous! None of the staff communicate very well. I waisted $30 to find out the sex of my baby to just to find out next day that I would of been able to find out for free from my lab reports! Second time going to this place a lady tried taking blood from me with no rubber band around my arm & was wondering why blood wasn’t coming out. Very unprofessional if you ask me

This was my daughters obgyn, for her pregnancy. I have never seen such rude and unprofessional people in all my life!! She has called several times for emergencies and after waiting over 4 hours has had to just go to the e.r for care! This has happened over 3 times since she has been a patient. They have been so rude to my daughter and after speaking with the manager there was only sarcastic attitudes and them calling my daughter a liar. Instead of trying to apologize they repeatedly called her and said she was lying! Would not recommend this place to anyone 🙄!

I was hesitant to go here because of all the bad reviews- and I should have listened! I’ve waited for over an hour in the waiting room to be called back; NOONE is Friendly; they cancelled a prenatal appointment on me,(their nurse had to have surgery) only to reschedule it THREE weeks later- that morning I woke up and my one year old and five year old were throwing up and sick- because it was early I sent a text to their confirmation line. When I go to reschedule, AGAIN they push me back and now a day before the apt a nurse calls to tell me they are “dropping my care” because it’s been too long since they have seen me- forget that I had to accommodate THEM when they cancelled, but now they are dropping a woman who is 24 weeks pregnant! I asked the nurse what I was supposed to do and she said I could always go to a walk in clinic! Then refused to tell me any other Obstetricians in the area. That I could go “look it up”. This is my THIRD child and I have NEVER had an experience like this before. Every single appointment was rude people; long waits; poor scheduling- I got the DNA blood test done and the doctor said it would take 7-10 days; almost three weeks later (and almost daily phone calls from me) they finally gave me the test results; but heaven forbid that YOU have a family of sick children they don’t hesitate to drop you.I feel sorry for new moms excited about their first Ultrasound also. With my other two pregnancies the care I recieved when I lived in NY; they spent and hour showing me my beautiful baby; the heart beat; explained everything I was looking at- printed off beautiful pictures in a baby folder-Here, the woman rushes through her job; barely speaks to you; then makes you wait out in the waiting room afterwards (for longer than my appointment) to toss a cd of pictures at you.So if low standards; lack of care for the patient; long waits on hold; rude staff and now what I’m dealing with- finding prenatal care at week 25... then this is the place for you!I would have asked to speak with management but if the entire building is run this poorly? Typically Sh$t rolls down hill...Looks like a classic case of leading by example...

Been waiting over an hour and a half and still not called back . People who came after me have already been called back .And of course you will have to wait again once you are called back .Recommend you go somewhere else.Tried to call to make an appointment so my birth control could be renewed. I was hung up on five times before I gave up. This was after speaking to someone and being put on hold only to be hung up on shortly after. Called a new doctors office as I am completely done with this one after five years. Believe what you read in these reviews. They are accurate.

By far the worst doctors office I have ever been to.. After switching insurance providers I was forced to change doctors so I called to schedule an appt here. I could barely understand a word the receptionist said and had to repeat myself many times. I have worked over the phones before so I know how to speak in order to ensure someone can understand me. Finally she gets my information and schedules the appointment. She then began reiterating several times rudely that I needed to be there early to fill out paperwork which I planned on doing anyways. So doing as I told I arrived at 2:00 and there was only one other person in the office. I had my paper work filled out well before my scheduled time of 2:20. Several people showed up after me all with later appointments and they were all seen before me. I finally go back around 2:50 and was weighed/ blood pressure checked. I was instructed to get undressed and put on the gown. So I began getting undressed as I stood there completely naked a nurse busted in not even waiting for me to say anything after she knocked and told me not to get changed that I need to get my clothes back on so I could talk to someone else. While standing there 100% naked she begins hounding me about my medical history and debating me on when my last pap smear was (keep in mind I have never been there so there is no reason for her to be disagreeing with me). Im standing there naked trying to explain when she finally leaves after debating me for several minutes. I get dressed and waited another 30 minutes and nothing. No nurse ever came back and I never saw the doctor. After being at the office for an hour and a half I finally left only having my weight and blood pressure checked. I will never go back and will never recommend them. I was embarrassed, violated and had my time wasted.

My experience with HOFOBGYN has been terrible. First I had to call 6 times to get an appointment and then it had to be rescheduled because someone wanted to take vacation. This should have been my first clue that I would have a horrible experience. I arrive at my first appointment and wait for over an hour to be seen by the doctor. He prescribes tests and I complete them as directed. Didnt really get the warm and fuzzies from the guy. I come back to the followup appointment and this is where things really go downhill. It took 94 minutes to be seen. The doctor came in, gave me test results I already knew and then says he has to go do something else and is gone for another 15 minutes. Like waiting 94 minutes the first time wasnt long enough. He then prescribes some pills and sends me home. Maybe spent 4 minutes total with the guy and part of that was him explaining why he was prescribing things to me to the student shadowing him. My appointment was on a Tuesday and I thought it was weird that by Friday my prescription wasnt ready. I called Publix and they said nothing was ever called in. I called HOFOBGYN and the nurse told me she would call it in. I get busy at work and dont have time to make sue it was done. I call Publix when I get home and nothing was ever called in. The pills he prescribed me need to be taken at very specific times of your cycle and and the day I was supposed to start was on Sunday which I couldnt do because the prescription was never called in. This set me back 1 month trying to conceive. I then get a bill after I had already paid what the girl at checkout told me was my complete balance. After such horrible service, you want me to pay more? But it gets worse. I call and leave multiple messages over several days and NOBODY CALLS ME BACK. I call again (a week later) and finally get a human on the phone to whom I tell my saga to and she repeatedly tells me there is nothing she can do. She says shes sorry. Sorry doesnt even begin to cover it. Ive been trying to conceive for over a year and this prescription was supposed to help me, but it doesnt get called in and sets me back another month and this lady is sorry? She says shell talk about it with her manager who never offers to get on the phone with me and calls me back over an hour and a half later and tells me more of the same. Nothing she can do. The price is the price. I ask her, as a business youre telling me that you have no control over what you charge people and she says yes. Well thats a load of bull. You certainly DO have the ability to do whatever you want for a customer and they chose not to. If I could give negative stars for the experience I would. This place is a complete joke. DO NOT GO HERE!

Been with this office for over 12 yrs. My pharmacy faxed 3 times for refills. The nurse became ugly and said today was her first fax. I was at the pharmacy and they showed me their requests. I was astonished that she became rude and said she would get to it tomorrow and hung up on me!!!!! What?!?! This woman was a nurse?!? How rude!!! Ive had problems along the years but I LOVE Dr. Andah and BeBe.....so Ive overlooked these problems but this was just insane! Really over this treatment!

I called this office for two weeks straight every day trying to schedule an appointment. Was hung up on four different days, so after two weeks. I was passing by and stop in to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was scheduling a lady at desk so I say down to wait for them to finish. Before they finish the receptionist ask i had an appointment I explained to her I was wanting to schedule one and I wasn’t able to ever get anyone over the phone to do it. She tells me that they are about to go on lunch if I could come back. I’ve never heard of such rude unprofessional!!!!

I tried to make a new appointment bcoz I cancelled it twice but Im willing to pay for the cancellation fee although I called them due to some emergency. The lady who answered the phone are not really polite and very rude. I tried to called them by you can tell they just hang up on you for no explanations. Very very bad customer service. No manners at all. This is not the right way to handle your customer in a bad manner. First of all if am not legit I would rather not to pay the fee even I cancelled them ahead. But these people very rude. I wish I can give this clinic a -100 bcoz of their actions.

I’ve been a patient here for a few years, making appointments was a hassle , playing phone tag, and not being able to get through.This past year I went for my yearly , never received results or a call. When I called to find out my test was in conclusive . I went a second time, again no call back, I called and in conclusive. Now my insurance should cover my yearly but because I went a second time it was a huge hassle to get it written off that it was in conclusive. The year prior I did not receive a call either and this scares me, I have a lot of family medical history with endrometriosis, cancer among other things. They now told me I don’t have to come back for 3 years. Terrible!I am now looking for a different location.

Worst doctors office I have ever been to. You have to wait a least an hour past you actual appointment time. That is if they can get you on the schedule. The staff has such bad attitude and treats you like crap, if they even acknowledge you. The docs are ok. No one ever gets anywhere on time. Just worthless. Dr. Ferdinand is wonderful. But the wait isnt worth it.

Amazing doctors!!! Staff and nurses are awesome. Nothing but good thing to say about this place. I have a amazing pregnancy and delivery.I wish I could replay back to some of the bad reviews. Please remember treat other as you want to be treated!!! If you have a bad attitude with people how do you think they will be with you......

I had such a horrible experience here with a pregnancy and miscarriage and now months later a received an outrageously high bill for expensive tests I was never informed of. I feel so betrayed and upset.Also, (Update) I did call their office in the comment below and they refused to help me again. I still have a high outstanding bill now. They were not sorry and not helpful. Marci did nothing.

Ive received care at this office for 2 pregnancies. I have had no problems what-so-ever. Receptionists have always been courteous and prompt. I see Dr. Alkass and he is the best! Hes performed my 3rd and 4th C-Sections beautifully.

I left this office yesterday crying my eyes out. The doctor I saw was very very rude. I waited 40 min to be seen to be rushed and treated like I wasnt important. I am brand new to Florida and Brand new to this office. I was answering the questions being asked but was cut short and told how he expected me to answer each question. He spoke very sternly and was so disrespectful. I started to cry in front of him because he was so overwhelming and really made me uncomfortable. I requested to never see him again. What was supposed to be an exciting evening for me turned out miserable because of Dr. Andah. If it wasnt for the medical assistants and receptionists I would never have made another appointment to come back. Thank you to the women of that office I felt supported and comforted afterwards. I will tell all the other doctors what happened my first visit in hope I can be treated with respect. In Massachusetts doctors are caring and compassionate I WILL get the same care in Florida and will continue to vouch for myself. Yesterday was not acceptable..

I’ve always received great care from Dr. Ferdinand. I hope today’s visit goes well also. I expect it will. Thank you for always taking good care of me.So today I received a letter telling me the name change without an envelope. Yes just the folded paper. I guess my right to privacy means nothing. Beyond belief!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I went in to do my yearly exam and obtain birth control. They told me I would need to give a urine sample. After the exam I was told to check out. I then asked the lady checking me out if they still needed it. She then called his nurse and said “oh yeah, you do they forgot”. I was then led to a dirty bathroom where there was a drawer of Dixie cups and was told to write my initials on one and the just leave the pee on the counter. This was a bathroom being used by many people and it’s absolutely atrocious that as a patient I could have walked into a bathroom where a cup of random uncovered piss was in sitting out in the open on a random shelf. My prescription was never called in and when I called to try to rectify this they had no one there that could help and no record of me ever asking for it. Mind you I had been told by 3 separate people that it had been called in. My gut was right that it wasn’t. I am 36 and this is the first time since I was 18 that an exam of my breasts was not done. He told me I didn’t have to worry about it since I didn’t have a family history. That is straight up laziness and negligence. This doctor and staff should not be allowed to practice let alone teach as he had a medical student with him.

Ive been going to Dr. Andah and his asst. Bebe since I was a teen( for about 12 years now.) He is by far my favorite Doctor Ever and I refuse to see anyone else. He is so patient and listens to you. He always answers my questions (which god knows I always have a lot of them lol) and makes you feel very comfortable during your visit. I feel like thats why there may be more of a wait time because he doesnt just rush you out the door. To me a good Dr. Is worth waiting for.

Dr. San Martin is awesome!! I had to search all over Polk county to find a quality gynecology office that accepts Medicaid. I went in for a rather major operation and Heart of Florida OB/GYN is the place to go. Dr. San Martin is very patient and has a good sense of humor that will put you at ease. He will ask you plenty of times if you have any questions so you never leave without knowing everything you need to know. Sometimes you will get stuck in the waiting room for a bit but the doctors are worth it. Some of the people at the front desk arent the most knowledgeable or friendliest but not every place can be perfect. Id recommend it to women around Polk County.

DR Mark was very kind and funny with me.Costumer service is 0 (the worst to treat pregnant womans)Also they always reschedule your app no matter if you had book it 2 weeks ago they don’t care.Bad administration and poor assistant. Highly disappoint with this Place ( and it was recommended to me) I regret.

Dr. EDMUND ANDAH is terrific. He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with any issues. I always have great visits and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

I love this OBGYN! The Doctors/Staff are amazing. They really do care about your needs. Dr. Andah is one of the sweetest most professional Doctors Ive ever had. He is straight forward, and very detailed, and his nurse BeBe is THE GREATEST! ( I think all of the doctors are fabulous) & The office manager is SO awesome. I believe her name is Marci. We met with her a few weeks ago to go over somethings and instantly feel in love with her! Shes so down to earth! Bottom line, I love this place and my husband I are so relieved that we will be in great hands! -Niki Soules

My wife been trying to get a translator last couple of weeks everytime they put her to wait and they just hang off the phone. Also my wife is going for 4 months she still havent received her ultrasound, will still havent seen the baby or talk properly to a doctor. This is nonsense. Very disappointed.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! And did i say disgustingly horrible?! Yes horrible. Alright doctor service but the ultrasound are pathetic. They wanted to charge me to know the sex of my baby while they were doing the ultrasound. You wait a long time for a ultrasound that feels rushed. Never go here. Go to the imaging center in Osceola regional hospital. Osceola imaging center its friendly and they will take the time to get the right information, give you pictures and tell u the sex of ur baby at no extra charge. As for the heart of florida obgyn, Find some other doctor cause even when they give you the paperwork to go do an ultrasound somewhere else they dont give you the correct paper. Its a hassle altogether. Worst experience of my life. Didnt feel right at all so i changed doctors half way through my pregnancy. For them its all business its sickening. At some point you need to have some compassion.

I love Dr. Ferdinand, but its almost impossible to get an appointment. Ive called 5 times over the past week only to get hung up on every single time. It should not be this hard to get birth control! I also need the biote therapy, but I guess Ill get it somewhere else.

At first I thought this was a pretty good OBGYN due to the doctors and midwifes were fairly nice never had a problem with them. But when it comes to their ultrasound techs completely 100% disappointed and beyond furious I go in for my 20 weeks ultrasound I wait an hour before getting called lady seemed in a rush and then had to wait another hour so she could give me a cd with the pictures which i hate i prefer paper pictures and i come home put on the cd & its completely blank ..... EXTREMELY MAY I SAY AGAIN EXTREMELY FURIOUS

Currently waiting to be seen & The staff is rude , they don’t urine test for pregnant woman unless you ask which is procedure. They speak in Spanish so you won’t know what they are saying about you. Horrible staff. Not even worth the one ⭐️ star rating..

Never waited this long in a waiting room.. Apparently this waiting room is always packed. Ive been waiting an HOUR AND A HALF just for an appointment to swap my birth control. There has already been two families walk out because of the ridiculous wait. Definitely do not recommend this place.

My pharmacy has been calling them for over a month and a half to get a refill prescription faxed. Last time, I had to spend over three days on the phone, once an hour, to get them to FINALLY fax it over. I am NOT looking forward to my next three days repeating this.

I’ve been a going here for almost 20 years. Dr. Alkass and his team are amazing . Never had any issues with staff or doctors.

The worst everrrrrrr, if I can give zero stars I would ,office visit take hours, front desk RUDE RUDE RUDE no one barely speak english. Oh lord and please don’t try to get your medical records from them they will take forever. Not one visit of my 9months of pregnancy went good..

This place sucks you have to pay to find out the gender of your baby 50$ ultrasound for a lame desc they give you and you have to print out the photos. I think there just make extra money on these ultrasounds which its not fair beacause my insurance covers for ultrasounds and I didnt have to pay nothing. they make it seem like my insurance didnt cover it when they did.

Called to make an appointment. Sat on hold for a half hour as 1st in queue. Recording gives website. Tried to access while waiting. got error after error... Called from my office phone while holding, buzy signal! WTH?

I hate this place. Im here now. There is no point to make an appointment because you still wait an hour to be seen. Not only that, they screw you over hardcore with copays, so be careful! Im finding a new place after this visit. These people need to learn customer service cause they all fail.

The customer service here is very low, they do not acknowledge you and as youre waiting at the window they will closer it on your face! They state your information very loudly for the waiting area to hear and they have no empathy. You wait so long top be seen and the visit with the doctors are rushed.

Great doctors group , incredible rude front desk! The front desk and secretaries are incredibly unpleasant , don’t smile at you . It’s like they are doing you a favor on doing their job .

My wife name is Sandra. They are always helpfully and very cooperative. I have a lot of grateful of Dr. Alkass. Dr. Alkass is excellent. We recommend this office.

I hate this place I should have read the reviews before coming here. Unfortunately I didnt mean to come to this one but the one next door. They do not know what customer service is. Rude staff. And the waiting time is ridiculous. They made me pay out of pocket even though my insurance could have paid it. I wouldnt have even given this place a star if it wasnt bc I had to in order to review .

The Doctors are nice but rush during appointments. The staff is friendly but dont let you know that your doctor is not there until you ask them an hour later...

The best care that I could have in my pregnancy, the best doctors especially the andah doctor who attended my delivery and the nurse Gigi who was in all my process a wonderful experience Thank you ☺️☺️☺️

The medical assistant Tammy at lake Wales office was the most efficient patient worker she was very helpful knowledge and patient very grateful for her help

This place is horrible...there is a bunch of quacks in this office.My wife is 38weeks and 4days and was admitted do to baby had a high heart beat and then they had to give her three pints of blood because they havent checked her blood since november....now today they want to send her home.....WOW what a joke...she was to be induced today...

I had to pay $50 to find out if me and my wife were having a girl or boy. Never been charged before dont recommend this place it has bad service

On October 1, 2020, the gynecologist saw me and told me to go to the counter so they could give me an operation date for November. At the counter they told me that they did not have the November agenda so I was waiting for a call from Vanessa the operations coordinator. I let two weeks pass and I called because Vannessa wasnt calling me, they transferred me to her and I answered her voicemail, I left her my information. The third week I came back and called and the same thing happened to me. On October 25, I called again to be put in touch with Vanessas superior or my doctors nurse, neither of them answered and the girl who helped me at the counter did not want to pass me on to anyone else. These offices are in Davenport, I am from Lakeland, I couldnt do anything over the phone and November is now a week away. I have to find someone to take care of my daughters and my husband asks for several days at work so he can be with me during the operation. How could they not answer me? I personally went to the clinic when I looked for Vanessa at the counter. They told me that they were going to pick her up, but at that moment another of the girls approached and said that she had gone out at that moment to have lunch. In the end I had to file a complaint with the corporation, this clinic doesnt care about customer service.

I didnt like it at all. I do not recommend it to a pregnant woman. First of all, they did some tests on me three weeks ago and they hadnt called me to tell me that I had a urinary tract infection. Then I went to the office and the gynecologist didnt want to take care of me. They sent me to the hospital when I could check there. Another one that mentions how 5 women at a time with 32oz of water in their bladder to be able to carry out the bone sonogram study, you are exploiting yourself waiting for the others. Another one gives you like three different appointments, one for a sonogram, another for the doctor to see you, and another for the lab results to be read when that process can be done in the first appointment or maybe they are sooooo slow that they cant handle it. the.push. hey no, I didnt like it at all

The best I have ever had, Dr. Márquez. Excellent service and communication. I had surgery in April 2022 and everything was super with the attention from him and the nurses.

It is a terrible place where the service is very bad for pregnant women, they do not inform you anything, they do not respond on time and the attention is at the bottom I do not recommend it at all, very bad experience with my daughter
