Womens Health Institute of Illinois

I have visited many practices that are labeled Womens Health over the course of many years, but I have never found one as comprehensively focused on ALL aspects of a womans well-being as this group. I have visited the Downers Grove location about a dozen times now, and on each visit I was greeted immediately and ushered to a room within minutes of my arrival. Each person I encountered, from those at the reception desk to the assistants and care providers in the patient rooms, was pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and re-assuring. I was immediately at ease, knowing my needs would be addressed. I truly felt heard, and that is not the case everywhere. I would never go anywhere else.

I see Kavi Rajendran who is very kind, sweet and caring. She answers your questions throughly and takes time with you. The Woman’s Health Institute of Illinois has helped ease my concerns and some fears. I am so grateful for them.

I’ve been with this practice for almost 28 years. The drs are very knowledgeable & always up to date on new advances. The staff is caring & the drs don’t rush your appt.

Everyone was professional, kind and caring. All my concerns were addressed. I am so very glad that I was able to get an appointment quickly and truly grateful for the excellent care that I received. I will certainly follow Doctors orders and return for future care.

I called the office the other day in extreme distress and pain only to be put on hold for ten minutes. I hung up, called back and tried to speak to whatever medical staff there at the time, only to be pushed to the receptionist who could not answer any questions or help in any way. She told me no one was in that day and my only option was to drive to the Oak Lawn office, which is about 15 miles away! It would have been difficult for me to drive to the DG office in the pain I was in...10 mins away. Apparently you can only see the doctor once and she wont see you again not even if theres an issue. Ill be looking for another doctor who is able to see and care for patients.

Friendly & Patient. Dr. Johnson explained everything. I got an appointment timely & all my issues were addressed.

The PA was knowledgeable and polite. She also was friendly. She worked quickly and efficiently.

I had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Denise Poulos. I was in terrible discomfort for months and she basically saved my life. I would highly recommend coming to see her at this location. Her staff was wonderful as well.

Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Denise Poulos was rude, unwilling to listen to my issues and definitely did not relate to Women issues. I was so discouraged. I will not return.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Makes a patient feel at ease during a stressful situation.
