Novus Medical Services Doylestown

Feels like going to a private doctors office and not a free clinic. Personable, caring, accommodatingly individualistic treatment by a warm, compassionate and thorough, knowledgeable staff in a clean and comforting friendly environment. The head NP ❤️ and entire staff are always willing to explain things; the exact opposite of any clinic experience I have ever had since switching to public insurance. Feel like a person and not just a rushed number/statistic. Highly recommend.

Updated May 9, 2024:After a distressing experience at Novus in Bethlehem, we sought care here for a year. It became evident that the staff there were uncomfortable with our preference to be together during appointments, despite our efforts to provide all necessary documentation, including medical release forms and paperwork from the Department of VA Affairs establishing my role as my husbands designated caregiver, along with power of attorney documentation.Throughout our visits, we sensed a palpable negative energy from most of the staff towards us, although it was largely conveyed through subtle cues rather than overt actions. However, our last appointment brought these tensions to the forefront. The receptionist informed us that they had tried to reach us and left messages, to which I responded calmly, not feeling compelled to explain the variability of our circumstances in caring for my husband. Despite my punctual arrival, the receptionist reiterated this point, seemingly irritated by my lack of acknowledgment.During the appointment, when my husband struggled to recall his medications, I provided the necessary information. Instead of understanding our situation, the nurses remark, Oh, you didnt take it and she found out, felt unnecessarily accusatory and lacking in empathy for our caregiving dynamic.When I later requested that my medical records be sent to my primary provider, I encountered further frustration. Despite previous assurances, my provider received nothing. Upon contacting Novus again, I spoke with the same individual who had checked us in at our last appointment, only to be told that I needed to fill out a medical release form, contradicting earlier assurances. The person on the phone denied our previous interaction and proceeded to lecture me on HIPAA, missing the point of my frustration.My concern lies not in a lack of understanding of HIPAA regulations, but rather in feeling unfairly penalized for missing a phone call, and facing unnecessary obstacles in accessing my care records.Will be transferring care to Novus of Bridgeport.

I recommend this facility most highly without any reservation whatsoever. My nurse practitioner is incredibly helpful and makes me feel well cared for. The nursing staff is exceptionally efficient and compassionate. The office staff is diligent with everything they do. EACH time I called, I spoke with a human and never got lost in an electronic voice mail system. They are simply the best

The staff at Doylestown location made me feel comfortable during a difficult time i am going through. My nurse /test provider was so nice and I am truly thankful they were able to schedule me and provide such care.

One of the best clinics I’ve ever been to. Staff is incredibly competent, accommodating, LGBT-friendly and all around great people. Highly recommend.

Was able to get an appointment same day which nowadays seems impossible with any of these clinics. Staff was professional polite and I was in and out. Literally took me about 15 minutes in total. Best service I’ve ever had with any clinic.

So grateful for the team at Novus. Everyone is super kind and friendly. Tom and Sarah are the absolute best. This facility is an incredible resource for our community.

The staff here was kind, understanding, and personable. I felt no judgement the whole time I was here. Getting tested is already an awkward experience but the staff made it simple and comfortable. Highly recommend
