Representative at front desk is horrible. ***This is review for FRONT DESK STAFF, NOT DOCTORS***The front desk staff HUNG UP on me during an appointment scheduling. I asked several questions on the appointment options and she had condescending tones throughout the conversation, and hung up the phone (total duration of phone was less than 4 mins). I never had this experience in my entire life. I would suggest that clinic’s management to consider urgently re-train their front-desk staff and monitor how clinic’s patients are treated by front desk staff. This staff’s unacceptable bahaviors will be repeated to any other patients, if not monitored carefully. I have 20+ years of experience in healthcare industry and the worst customer service I ever encountered. Very dissapointing and unfortunate for the clinic to have a such staff at front desk/scheduling department.

I have been a patient at Suburban womens Specialist since the birth of my son almost 10 years ago. Dr. Chua takes the time to hear you and makes you feel comfortable to explain what is going on. Dr. Anthony is also amazing. You truly feel like family with this practice

I’ve been seeing Dr. Anthony since 2018 and she’s been absolutely amazing!! She’s walked with me & my husband through 2 losses and rejoiced with us when we recently welcomed our healthy baby boy!! I’ve never had a doctor pray for and love on us the way she has over the years. I can’t thank her enough for her love and dedication to us as patients! I also had the pleasure of working with Dr. Chua when I was hospitalized during my pregnancy a few months ago. She too is as equally amazing!! Both are very thorough in their approach and education of what “right looks like”. I’d recommend this practice time & time again.

I had a traumatizing experience with Dr. Chua. Initially, she seemed approachable, but her demeanor quickly shifted to impatience. During the prenatal appointments, she conducted stripping on two occasions—a highly invasive and painful procedure—without informing me beforehand, which was extremely invasive. By that stage, it was too late for me to switch doctors.For the delivery, I was induced as I was past my due date. Dr. Chua appeared determined to manage my delivery within her shift. She instructed me to arrive at the hospital at 5 a.m., ordered the nurses to administer a high dosage of Pitocin, and attempted to perform another stripping without my consent. When I objected, she simply laughed in my face. Whenever she entered the delivery room, she would ignore greetings, fixate nervously on the monitor, and leave abruptly, clearly frustrated that the birth might not align with her schedule.Thankfully, my child was born shortly after her shift ended, with Dr. Anthony, who was much nicer.

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the behavior of Dr. Betty Anthony during a recent C-section procedure that I attended as a birth and postpartum Doula.Upon meeting Dr. Anthony, I was optimistic about collaborating with her to provide the best possible care for our mutual client. However, I was shocked and dismayed by her attitude and bedside manner throughout the process. Dr. Anthony exhibited a lack of professionalism and respect towards me as a Doula, attempting to bully and belittle me by insisting that I stay in my place and raising her voice aggressively and condescendingly. This behavior undermined my role in supporting the client and created an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere for everyone present, including the client, her family, and the hospital staff.Furthermore, Dr. Anthony made unsolicited comments and expressed her personal opinions on matters such as the handling of the placenta, disregarding the preferences and autonomy of the client. Her dismissive and disrespectful attitude towards me and the clients choices was highly inappropriate and unbecoming of a medical professional.Effective communication, mutual respect, and collaboration are essential to providing quality care to clients, especially during significant and sensitive moments such as childbirth. Dr. Anthonys behavior failed to meet these standards and hurt the clients overall experience, as this was the patient rainbow baby.I ask that this matter be taken promptly and that appropriate measures be taken to ensure this behavior is not repeated. It is crucial that all healthcare providers, including Dr. Anthony, uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect, and communication in their interactions with clients and colleagues.Thank you for your attention to this critical issue. I love Dr. Chua! She delivered both my babies and I wouldn’t trust any other doctors with my pregnancies or deliveries other than Dr. Chua! I specifically chose this OBGYN office based off reviews when I was first researching, and they have not disappointed! Both Dr. Chua and Dr. Anthony are professionals and the front office ladies are always so friendly! I love Maria! She simply makes you feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in!

Dr. Chua and Dr. Anthony are the best two OB-GYN that I would recommend to my friends and family members. They have good bedside manners and will listen to your concerns. The office is so clean and nice. The staffs are so kind and attentive to patient’s needs and concerns. I can’t say enough of good things about this practice. Please do not retire, my favorite doctors 😘

The worst OBGYN I have been to. All I needed was a simple referral to get my breast tumor removed, and after calling several times, they kept forgetting to send the referral. I called 4 times to remind them, and it never got sent. I ended up having to go to a different OBGYN to get surgery for my tumor. They later sent me a bill for $150. Thanks for sending me a bill for literally nothing

After recently relocating to Georgia, I have been an obgyn patient here for the last 6 months, attending over 6-7 prenatal appointments. I am writing this review based on my comparable experience after switching to another provider around 36 weeks, so that expectant parents know what to expect.1. Be prepared for wait times that can be seriously frustrating. Regardless of the day, time, or which doctor I saw, the wait was consistently over an hour, sometimes even pushing 2 hours for the entire visit. The actual time with the OB-GYN was barely 5 minutes. I understand obgyns are busy, but it’s about time they improved their time management or focused more on their existing patients rather than taking on more new ones. I have been dreading their wait times, which often leads to missing work and uncomfortable hours in a chair, causing back pain, which is not fun in the third trimester. On top of this, nobody in this practice, including doctors, has acknowledged or been apologetic even once for their ridiculously long wait times.2. Appointments with Dr. Anthony always seem rushed, like she’s in a race to see all the patients. She sometimes comes across as rude/dismissive and doesn’t really give enough time to address my concerns. The OB is usually in and out within 3-5 minutes. I saw Dr. Chua only once and do not have much experience to comment on my experience with her.3. There is no online scheduling or a proper messaging system/nurse line here to reach for emergency. The lab and test results are all handled through a call, and there is no way to view the results unless you request a printout on the visit. It’s a very old-school system, and most of the time, the front desk staff doesn’t have a clue about how things work. I once asked if there was a nurse line or an after-hours support, and to my surprise, the front desk said there was nothing like that. Much later when I asked again, Dr. Chua confirmed there is an on-call number to reach the obgyn directly. In another instance, I called the front desk to reach the doctor’s assistant when I was having a terrible sinus issue while 6 months pregnant, to get some pregnancy-safe medication recommendations, only to be cut down by the front desk in a rude way, mentioning “we don’t treat sinus.”4. Brace yourself for a bit of a headache. They want the patients to prepay for the entire labor out-of-pocket costs around the 28-week mark. It’s a real hassle, especially if you end up having to deal with refunds post-birth because your deductible is reached before delivery. While I understand this is a norm in some clinics, I expected they should talk about it in the first appointment. I didn’t come across this with my previous pregnancy provider, so this got me surprised. Now that I have transferred, I am still waiting for the refund of the money they charged me for labor already.I am glad I switched from here for an overall positive and hassle-free experience with another provider while receiving good care. I would not recommend this place to any mothers who value time, customer service, and birth empowerment.

Every assistant is extremely impatient and dont know anything about anything. Called about 10 times back and forth to get a ultrasound and special appt scheduled. They keep missing the information which is just unprofessional. Lack of technology and equipment. First time seeing urine cup using drinking cup without lids. No online system and forget about getting your record. I can keep going on and on.

We have a horrible experience here. My wifes doctor Anthony. She never addresses any issues or concerns we had. Always rude and just brushes off if we ask any questions. Never go here if you are a new mom and have questions because she never answers them and speaks very rudely to you. Always in a rush as the other review said . The front desk is a joke. When I called regarding a certain problem which is most common during pregnancy and the Obgyn for sure will be aware of it, you know what the front desk answered ? Go to that particular body part specialist where you have pain. If I have a problem which is pregnancy specific why should i go to a particular body part specialist ? what is the obgyn for ? And how can a front desk associate give advice to go to another doctor instead of transferring the call to the designated nurse ? Why is the Obgyn for then ? If you are a new mom please do yourself a favour and do not come to this clinic. They do not address your issues and on the top of that you have to face rude comments from the doctor. Also one more feather in the hat .. They do not follow up after they suggest you go to an emergency or urgent care clinic. They do not care about their patients at all. Worst front desk and follow up. I will never trust this clinic or doctor to do delivery for my wife.

I can’t say enough about Dr Anthony and the staff. The office is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. My appointment was prompt and on time. I absolutely love my Doctor (Dr. Anthony). She truly loves her patients and spends the needed time with them. I’ve referred Dr Anthony to my friends and they like her as well!! This is the third facility Ive followed her too. Needless to say I highly recommend!!

I’ve been a patient with Dr Anthony (& Dr Chua) for over 13 years. Dr Anthony delivered both of my beautiful healthy babies and has provided me with equally great care. Everyone in the office is very responsive, helpful and always professional. The team there is very caring and friendly and I actually look forward to seeing them when I go. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

I love love Dr. Anthony and staff! I drove almost 1.5 hrs at the end of my pregnancy to make sure I stuck with them for my delivery. I love how personal and how honest Dr. Anthony was with me at every appointment, as well as the nurses and phlebotomist! I will continue to make that drive for future women check-ups!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! They will overcharge you and tell you to come in multiple times to charge you separately for each visit. I got nothing out of my visits, just a $900 bill for an ultrasound and 2 minute conversations even after my insurance paid. They would not work with me on the remaining bill. Just terrible and so PREDATORY!

Great doctors, but unfortunately the front office staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional.

I highly recommend Dr Chua, she is such a professional, responsible and considerable doctor that I can trust without any doubt. Dr Chua was my regular ob for my two pregnancies. I had excellent experience being her patient both times. She gave great suggestions and answered all my questions and concerns so well for all the visits. What I truly appreciated was that it was not her time on call, but she still went to deliver both my daughters, one even at late midnight. Her appearance definitely made me feel so safe and absolutely made the delivery process very smoothly. That kind of feeling of trusting your doctor is very important to a patient, at anytime, any case.

Dr Anthony is a real person!!! She is genuinely interested in you, your family as well as your health. I am no longer of child bearing age and Dr. Anthony sees me for my yearly exam. She asks pertinent questions regarding the updates on my medical issues and LISTENS to me wholeheartedly. Her office staff is always personable and professional. I only wish she could have delivered one of my babies!!

I love Dr. Anthony! She has been absolutely wonderful throughout my pregnancy, birth of my child and now postpartum. I cannot say enough good things!I also love the office staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and efficient!

Be very careful when you read negative reviews and take with a grain of salt. I just read a very rude review that mentions race which is completely a NON-ISSUE. The person wasnt sure how to complain. The mature option would have been to talk with Dr. Anthony directly about concerns. Posting on a public forum is extremely poor taste.I have been a patient of Dr. Anthony for over ten years. She is always compassionate, professional, friendly and helpful and her staff is super friendly and efficient. I got married in November 2013 and have two babies that Dr. Anthony delivered at Emory Johns Creek. She and her staff took excellent care of me during both pregnancies and Ive always felt completely confident and secure knowing that my health is in the very best hands. One of my labor and delivery nurses told me that Dr. Anthony is also certified in pharmacology. She is excellent at what she does and I am grateful to have such a wonderful practice that takes such good care of me and helps me to be my best.Take control of your own health. Doctors are not mind readers. If you have questions, speak up. Be an active participant in your healthcare and advocate for yourself. Empower yourself and just say no to small-minded thinking and victim mentality.

Both Dr. Anthony and Dr. Chua are professional, knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, unbiased and respectful women. I have never felt out of place in their office and their staff always greets with a smile. Its hard to find a doctors office where all the staff gets along, as I have worked for a few. Dr. Chua delivered my oldest via C-section and will be delivering my next one, due in May, hopefully by VBAC if all goes well. I ask a lot of questions and at times feel a little needy during my visit and not once has Dr. Chua nor Dr. Anthony cut me off or acted like I was a hinderance. Of course, just like any other OB/GYN office, there have been a few times where I have had to wait a little bit longer to see the doctor as they are at the hospital delivering or attending to an emergency, but that is normal for this field (and really, most any medical field). I have recommended many friends and family to this office and will keep doing so! I also live about 45 minutes from the office but would still choose them over any other office near me because of how comfortable they make you feel. At Suburban Womens Specialist, youre not just a number, but you are their patient! They remember you from the very first visit and sincerely want the best for you. Cannot say enough good things about this office and staff!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Anthony. She helped tremendously in delivering my daughter via c section and I am recovering pretty well. She made sure I was feeling okay after the c section and told me the things I needed to know. I am so happy to have her as my obgyn!

While in desperate search of a new gynecologist 9 months ago. I had a visit to Dr Anthonys office, and I was very pleased with how friendly the ladies were at the front desk. Along with the staff of making me very comfortable. Dr Anthony was very detailed ;with figuring out the exact problem, I was having with Mother Nature. She also noticed that I needed a little bit of iron just by visually looking at my face, and parameter of my lips. So she gave me a few iron pills to take home. Clearly the woman cares about her patients along with her craft. Im still a patient of hers to this day and Im glad I found her.

Ive been coming here for years. Dr. Chua delivered my baby and I wouldnt have had it any other way. I drive an hour just to see her for my annual checkup. No complaints whatsoever. I love the staff. Theyre very friendly and remembers my family and me by names. If anyone has ever had a problem with them Im sure its a misunderstanding. I would recommend everyone to come. They get you in and out unless the doctor is delivering a baby. LOVE THEM ALL.

I was a New Patient of Dr Anthony on 10/20 and was nervous because I had not had a good experience with my last gynecologist. Going to the gynecologist is never a fun experience, but this office made me feel so comfortable from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. I expressed my fear of needles to Erica, the phlebotomists and she said no problem and she was so gentle I didnt even feel a thing. Then I met Dr Anthony and she was so nice and answered all my questions, she didnt rush through the appointment. I was made to feel comfortable about my upcoming procedure and that we will come up with a Treatment plan according to my results that I will feel good about. It was so refreshing to get a live phone call with my blood work results and not have to sign on to a portal to try to figure them out myself. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Anthony to anyone looking for a gynecologist.

I am so thankful how Dr. Chua went above and beyond today to take care of me. She not only focused on my explicit issues, but also discussed my other health conditions and gave me various advice on building my wholesome health. With my particular issues, she was very carefully asking probing questions and attentively listening to my answers. She then decisively planned on the diagnostic approaches, which absolutely gave me the peace of mind. Plus, when I had to take unexpected bio break in the middle of the visit, she was so understanding and patient. Utmost grateful!

This third pregnancy I had to switch obstetricians and was nervous about finding a new place with new staff. But I found everyone to be super friendly and kind at Suburban Womens Specialists. Both physicians are personable and take the time to listen! Switching to this practice was a great experience delivering my caboose baby!

Ive been seeing Dr. Chua for several years now. Its nice to have a great doctor and a great staff. A lot of the times you have a great doctor but the staff lacks friendliness or that inviting environment, for me I end up leaving because the staff is the first contact and they set the stage. At this office Ive never had a negative experience. Thankful for an excellent doctor and staff!

Dr. Chua is such an excellent doctor. She just helped me to deliver my precious baby boy to the world. As the first time to be a mom, I was so nervous about the delivery process before my labor. Dr. Chua is such skillful doctor to help me push my baby out within 30min. It is amazing. I have thought it was a long journey for new mom who gives birth to the first baby. Dr. Chua makes my first labor such a great experience. I really appreciate her!

I see Dr.Chua mostly, but both doctors are very professional. The wait time could be long as they need to deliver babies at hospital sometimes. Among all my visits, one was extremely long waiting time like one and half hour. All others are below 10 minutes and sometimes are on time. They are not a large group so things like this could happen. I personally switched from a large group and am satisfied with my decision.

I am so glad I have chosen this place for my birth journey. Dr. Chua and Dr.Anthony are both great. They are caring, listening to your concern, and very helpful with all your questions. I feel no stress. Everyone here is nice and friendly. I Highly recommend it.

Aweful wait time and experience. I booked an appointment 3 months in advance with dr.chua. my appointment was at 2:00 pm and I waited till 3:20 , doctor didnt show up and I was running late to another appointment. Then I walked in the front desk and informed its really getting late. The front desk lady was like she is with another patient and I have to wait. I asked how long it will take, she said she dont have an eta which is really terrible answer without even a single apology. Their time management and communication is the worst. If you really have patience to wait 2-3 hours that too with an scheduled appointment, visit this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The attention to detail, warm welcoming smiles, and professionalism are the reason I have had Dr. Anthony and Dr. Chua deliver all three of my children. Excellent care, nice people, and very professional. I am so glad I found them. I having being going there over a year. With an older age having a baby and high blood sugar, I was worried. Thanks to them, my blood sugar was well monitored and I delivered a beautiful and healthy baby. This is a place you can trust. Love them!

Best Obgyn!!! Had both of my children with her. She helped saved my sons cord blood for the purpose of my daughters bone marrow transplant. The transplants doctors all commented on how great of a job she did in collecting rich cells numbers from the cord blood. Very grateful to Dr. Chua. Great bed side mannners. I can go on and on. 100% recommends her for your women and birthing care. And the staffs are pleasant always :) Great place to be even on a worst day.

Overall very good experience, the facility, doctors, nurse, staff are very nice and helpful. Just one suggestion : They should have an Online patient portal so that patient can access their health records do other necessary things online without any hassle of calling.

Awful response time and follow up. Test results were not provided up to a month after annual exam. I had to call three times to get the results and am still waiting on additional follow up from the provider. This was my first visit to the practice and I will be looking for another provider

A complete waste of time. Not customer focused! Ask to come early for labs. I have no medical issues. Front office suggest lab work using medical jargon. When I ask what the insurance covers Im told they dont have time to verify what My insurance will pay for and that I need to call the company myself to see what labs they cover. I believe thats your job. So you allow busines to walk away because you dont want to do the work. So when I call to see whats covered what medical jargon do you suggest I use. POOR POOR POOR. if you dont have the resources to run a valid business close your doors.

Dr. Anthony is very thorough and practical. I like that she listens to me and asks questions to make sure she gets to the root of any issue I may be dealing with.

Doctors and nurses are very good. Doctor Chua is very experienced and helped me deliver the baby quickly, which was very smooth and only took about 10 minutes. After the baby was born, the nurses service was very good. She checked carefully and helped me recover. Thank you very much!
