I moved to Eagle last year and Kristin came highly recommended as one of the best acupuncturists in the treasure valley. I have seen her every month since I moved here and I’m so grateful. She is wise, kind, compassionate, and excellent in her field. She balances my hormones, reduces my inflammation and lowers my stress levels…exactly what I need as a cancer survivor. (And Morgan, the front office manager, is wonderful!)

After struggling with miscarriages and told by doctors to “just keep trying” I was at my breaking point. Then I met Kristen. Kristen is amazing! She listened to my concerns and experiences and together we came up with a game plan. After only a few months of acupuncture and herbs, we were pregnant with our baby girl! During my entire pregnancy, Kristen helped calm my nerves and answered all questions I had. She is so kind and caring. She helped us complete our family and I am forever grateful for her.

10/10 recommend Kristen! She is truly a light and gift to all her patients, but especially those of us who deal with infertility! I’m currently under her care and have seen drastic improvements in my health as a whole. I’ve seen traditional doctors, obgyns, natural/functional doctors, and chiropractors who have ALL missed diagnosed me or told me they didn’t know why I have double digit miscarriages at age 34 and gave up on me. Kristen was able to figure me out through her expertise and thorough testing! I have PCOS with insulin resistance and high DHEA. Prayers were answered when I did a desperate google search and found her as a last ditch effort to get answers and try for a baby! I feel like a curtain has been lifted and I understand why I’ve struggled with SO many things since I was 11 years old that are all part of PCOS. Not only has she helped me with my fertility but also a ganglion cyst, insomnia, and neck pain! Kristen is truly a healer and feels deeply for those she treats! She hears you!! She understands the mental, emotional and physical pain that comes from infertility! She is called the baby maker for good reason!!! She helps those of us who have no other hope for a baby and everything in between!

I went to Eagle Acupunture for insomnia and migraines. I have battled severe migraines since childhood. After 4 acupuncture treatments with Kristin, I can happily report the frequency and severity of my headaches has reduced drastically...almost non-existent. Kristen is so great! She helped our dreams come true with becoming parents at 39, and again at 40! Not only have I used her for fertility acupuncture but also for milk supply and pain management. She also helped me looked into getting tested for MTHFR gene mutation/variation which I had never heard of and sure enough I was positive. She has so much wisdom around overall wellness. Kristen was an absolute dream to work with!! I was diagnosed with PCOS and had a bout of secondary infertility and was told by multiple doctors that I would struggle to get pregnant again without fertility drugs. They also told me there was nothing else I could try as it was just the beast of the diagnosis. That’s when I did my own research and found Kristen. Within 1 month of fertility acupuncture, my cycle regulated and I conceived. Tony Burris is a miracle worker. I pulled some muscles in my lower back and buttocks. I was also experiencing pain on the outside of one knee that made it difficult to walk up stairs. I was particularly concerned because I had 6 weeks before I was leaving for a trip that would involve lots of walking and climbing stairs. I saw Tony once a week over 4 weeks and all the pain was resolved. My hips and knees did not give me any trouble during the 3 weeks I was travelling or after I returned home. Thank you Tony. You are the best!

I first met Kristen several years ago because I work in the Burt community as a Doula. I have always been impressed with her knowledge and how she Taylor’s her treatments individually to the client. I have used her personally and I never hesitate to refer my own clients to her when they need any pregnancy birth related health benefits. I had acupuncture and Chinese herbs from Kristen that helped me get pregnant after 10 years of trying, helped me to have a wonderful pregnancy with twins, and I absolutely know that going to her for lactation issues is what has made me able to exclusively breastfeed my twins. What you will get from a session with Kristen is the best Chinese medicine/acupuncture and a priceless amount of support and understanding. You can feel how much she really cares for you and she is the epitome of what a healer should be. My husband has also seen Tony for neck and shoulder pain after neck surgery and found relief from the sessions. Would give them 6 stars if that existed!

It was through unfortunate personal events that I encountered Eagle Acupuncture, which only resulted in the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for. Both Kristen and Tony were wonderful to work with, but my gratitude goes to Kristen. She helped my husband and I accomplish the one goal we had as a married couple, to grow our family. I tried going the traditional route of IUI and IVF, but it wasnt until I started my treatments (which I personally call my spa days) that I began noticing personal changes in my own body. The road to my miracle baby was a long one with many ups and down and days of defeat but each time I went for a spa day I was given words of encouragement and praise for being strong enough to endure this. Kristen will forever be a part of my daughters birth story and forever be a part of our lives. I have been going to Eagle Acupuncture for years and I love them!! Always excited to go! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles. The staff is so kind and helpful and positive~ Kristen is amazing at what she does. I have had appointments with her that last an hour an half and we go over everything, from medical history to emotions, etc.. She is amazing at what she does!! I have gone to many acupuncturists but I go to her every time when I need the full treatment because she gives you the full treatment and attention. I started seeing Kristen over 2 years ago in order to aide in my fertility. That’s what’s so great about Kristen; her acupuncture and herbs work with western medicine. Kristen has seen many patients with infertility issues so she has a wealth of knowledge in this area. She also gave me helpful advice regarding questions that I should be asking my doctor. Once I told Kristen all my medical history and my infertility problems she gave me a customized “game plan” for getting pregnant. It was through the marriage of both western and eastern medicine that I’m very happy to say I became pregnant on my 3rd round of clomid. I chose to keep seeing Kristen once I got pregnant because I was so stressed during certain points of my pregnancy. I still see Kristen today when I’m having stressful situations and I feel my blood pressure rising, or when I’ve been sick and I can’t get a handle on it, or when I’ve had anything in my lady region that’s out of the norm. Kirsten is amazing and I already recommend her to my friends and family, and now I’m recommending her to the internet.

I have struggled with back pain for years, including a failed surgery. I had a vacation experience with acupuncture and loved it, so looked for a local practitioner. I was thrilled to find a high caliber practice in the Boise area, although I live in south central Idaho. From my first visit, I was treated like family. Jann is so welcoming the minute you come through the door, and Tony is a rare gem. He is patient, gentle, and so willing to explain every facet of the procedure. I also came to know Kristen, although her reputation precedes her. She is compassionate, caring and as excited by the success of her fertility patients as they are. I am humbled by her example of philanthropy, as she quietly and consistently gives back and supports many causes close to her heart. I live 2 and a half hours from Boise, but treatment at Eagle Acupuncture is well worth the drive. Tony and Kristen are truly the cream of the crop.

I met Kristin because we are Acupuncture colleagues. It was truly fate. I had been suffering for 4 years with a mystery illness with fatigue, and strange symptoms. After I connected with Kristin through Telehealth (since I am in CA), she was able to give me clear direction on what to test for and to find the correct treatment for what may have been the root issue. I struggled with infertility for 4.5 years. The first IVF clinic I sought treatment at was disinterested in helping me conceive my own child. I was 40 and, despite being diagnosed as unexplained infertility, I was considered a poor responder to stimulation meds and I was told that, due to my age, my eggs must be bad. The doctor gave me the all-too-common 1% chance of conceiving, donor egg speech. This crushed my spirit and psyche for quite awhile. After some research, I decided to give acupuncture a try. Upon meeting Kristen Burris, I found her to be very genuine and caring, thorough and, for the first time along my journey, encouraging. I was impressed by and grateful for Kristens expertise in fertility issues. She spent many sessions listening to me and letting me cry and grieve while also supporting me and uplifting my spirits through all the tears, loss and pain. Kristen is very warm and compassionate and her treatments remained the one-true constant along my journey - she offered the hope I sometimes could not muster myself. Her specialized fertility treatments coupled with her dedication brought my body into balance and prepare it for the miracle of conception and, eventually, birth. One of the greatest days of my life, thus far, was the day I was privileged to call Kristen to confirm I was pregnant! It happened!!! Kristens relaxing treatments also supported my first trimester of pregnancy and helped jump-start my labor. Granted, it was only my sons first visit but we have certainly found our new acupuncture provider. Kristen was engaging, informative, intuitive, patient, kind, caring, and humorous - all things my 7 yr old appreciates. Her knowledge base of Chinese medicine is extensive and I hope to be able to engage her in that topic again. She never hesitated to answer any question my boys had (older brother was with us) and we never felt like she was rushing through our appointment. She even played along with my sons imagination... he came to the appointment with a cape made from a blanket and a crown he cut and colored for himself. Kristen just embraced it all. I am so very grateful to have found Kristen and Tony at Eagle acupuncture. I live in Nevada and gladly drove 4 hours each way for my appointments. I suffered almost 3 years with unexplained infertility. Every test and procedure came back normal and I was becoming so depressed that the doctors could find nothing wrong with me or my husband. We began saving for IVF, when luckily came across an issue of herlife from a family member who lives in the area. I was skeptical at first . But 3 appointments later I was pregnant and am now holding a beautiful baby girl, which is absolute proof that this works. Even If you are skeptical, like I was at first, give it a shot- especially if you are considering iui or IVF. Dont get discouraged if some of the herbs are a little pricey, because they absolutely work and its still WAY cheaper than IUI or IVF. We are so grateful we found eagle acupuncture.

So, I debated pretty heavily before posting this review. I left feeling mostly sad and unsatisfied. I was referred to Eagle Acupuncture from a friend who had conceived using their help. I knew it was expensive, I was unprepared for how expensive. From the forms online and at the front desk, I was guessing about $195 for the initial visit. Its actually $300. Plus another $107 in herbs (that I never felt was a choice, it felt assumed that I was buying them) and another $209 in recommendations emailed to me after I left. During the beginning of the appointment, Kristen and I were having a miscommunication about how I track my cycle. I felt shut down by her. Everything I was saying was wrong and everything that I was tracking wasnt how she understood it. Her recommendation was for me to come 2x a week for a few months. I cant afford that, so unfortunately this will not be an option for our family. I have heard success stories, so if you can afford it, it is worth it. I will just have to stick to a plan with my midwife.

I was a very sceptical person about acupuncture. Tony made me feel very comfortable with the whole experience. Suffer from migraines and have several spinal issues. After the first treatment, I felt like dancing when I got home. After the second treatment, I could feel the migraines almost disappear, and the pain melting away from my body.

Tony was able to help me with debilitating sciatica that no other doctor could help with. I had chiropractic adjustments, Cortisone injections, prescription medications, physical therapy- none of it helped with the painful sciatica that plagued me day in and day out. After several sessions with Tony the “zings” became fewer and fewer and then one day they were just gone. It’s been over a year with no sciatica pain. I am now a true believer in the healing power of acupuncture.
