I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Nicotra. She fully approaches her patients with all medical facts and truth while delivering her message with a trauma based approach. I have never felt so safe and heard with any doctor and team before. Highly recommend for anyone that has had negative experiences with other doctors and are weary to trust other again.

I would definitely not recommend Dr. Nicotra to any young women looking for a gynecologist. When I was having issues with my birth control, I called her multiple times for help and never received a call back. When I did receive a call back from the nurse, she let me know that they did not record the date when they switched my birth control to a new prescription, which I find extremely unprofessional and concerning. After that, I asked for the doctor to call me, which she never did. A couple weeks later I reached out again with a different medical issue. I was in excruciating pain and needed a prescription as soon as possible. I currently live in NYC and Dr. Nicotra refused to help write a prescription, even after I explained that the urgent care facilities near me had already closed. Overall, she is very dismissive and insensitive, especially to young women. I would strongly advise finding a different gyno. That all being said I want to add that the woman who works at the reception desk is always a pleasure to talk with. She is so helpful and I have always enjoyed my conversations with her.

I have been with Dr. Nicotra for awhile. Recently I have been going to her for our surrogacy journey. She and her team have been INCREDIBLE in working with us and the fertility clinic in getting us everything we need in a timely manner to help this little baby grow. We are so excited to finish this journey with her! Highly recommend!

Dr. Nicotra is excellent, she recently performed a major surgery for me. Everything was flawless, she checked in after and was very responsive with any questions I had. She really listens and is extremely knowledgeable. Wait times in her office are minimal, and she dedicates the time needed to discuss your concerns. I am so glad I found her, and highly recommend her if youre looking to switch doctors.

I have nothing but great things to say. The office staff are so kind and welcoming. Dr Nicotra is the best, anytime I need advice and call the office I get a timely response from either a nurse or Dr Nicotra herself. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care I received through my pregnancies and postpartum.

Just switched OBGYNs and had my first appointment with Dr. Nicotra the other day. Was very nervous because I’ve had multiple horrible experiences with my last OBGYN. After my first appointment I contacted several female friends and family members telling them to switch to her if they can. Can’t say how great the experience was. IUD removal and PAP was over in seconds and was virtually painless. Dr. Nicotra and her team seem like they actually care about their patients and went above and beyond in looking out for my health, including recommending genetic testing for cancers- something none of my previous doctors have ever thought to mention. So happy I finally found an OBGYN that I love! Highly recommend to all.

I chose Dr. Nicotra because I saw online reviews (Google or Reddit) that mentioned that she offers numbing for IUD placement. I had a traumatic experience 10 years ago when my 1st IUD was placed without numbing, and I was very nervous about having it replaced. This treatment option was the #1 thing I was looking for as a new patient. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Nicotra and her team for removal of old IUD and placement of a new one, plus a regular exam. Greatly exceeded my expectations!

I had my first visit with Dr. Nicotra. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff and brought back to an exam room. Dr. Nicotra spent time listening to me and discussing my health history and current concerns. She was matter-of-fact (which I appreciated) when discussing treatment options. She was very gentle when examining me and put me at ease. She said shed call me later with more information regarding a possible treatment, and I received a call from her later that day with a treatment plan. Im pleased to have found an attentive, thorough gyn physician in Dr. Nicotra.

Dr. Nicotra was AMAZING! For context, my previous OB/GYN would leave me in the waiting room for about 45-50 minutes, then the person actually seeing me would only spend about 15 minutes with me and barely listened to what I had to say - generally giving me the impression that they just wanted to get me out the door as quickly as possible. Dr. Nicotra was the exact opposite. I was only in the waiting room for about ten minutes. Both Dr. Nicotra and her nurse, Katie, were thorough when taking my history, listened to all my concerns, and took the time to discuss all my treatment options before deciding on a course of action. I highly recommend Dr. Nicotra to anyone looking for a new OB/GYN - she is fabulous!

Dr. Nicotra has been amazing since I started seeing her in 2020. I went to her first after a fairly unique medical experience and she was so understanding. Her passion for her work is clear. She stays up to date on developments in the medical community and truly matches her patients risk tolerance/perspective with her own expertise to provide amazing medical advice.

About 2 years ago I fell ill randomly and quickly I was in pain like I never experienced. I tried going to an urgent care and then basically handed motrin and pushed out the door, I then reached out to my prior gyno and he immediately sent me to the er saying I was experiencing signs of an ovarian torsion. When I went to the er the nurses were not very nice either and thought I was just another covid patient. Long story short these Gynos came in rushed my to surgery confirming I had ovarian torsion. They made me feel comfortable cared and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was relieved to be in such good hands, they saved my ovary and left minimal scarring. I immediately switched to this practice, it ended up being closer to my home too! I LOVE IT HERE! ❤ Its so amazing to have a provider that listens to you, shows compassion, and gives honest answers. Highly recommend it here!

Exceptional quality of care! From my first appointment with Dr. Nicotra and staff till after delivery of my baby they exceeded my expectations. I was guided through my pregnancy and labor, which made me feel at ease during the process. I highly recommend this group you will not be dissappointed.

I recommend Dr.Nicotra very highly. So knowledgeable and professional - and in addition to that it’s very comfortable to talk with her. She explains things well and is always happy to discuss questions or concerns without rushing. Her office staff are also very friendly.
