I came here five years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter had a wonderful experience I am now pregnant with my third and came in the first time it was a little overwhelming because I do have a agoraphobia so I walked in and the nurse is like I can’t see at your glasses not understanding my condition, which is fine, but it was very uncomfortable but the nurse ended up being super respectful. I love it here they make me feel like family. They also got me, closer to God and feeling closer to God

Can’t explain how much this office helps. From the process of the ultrasound to the all of the resources the staff really make you feel welcomed and loved. This was my second visit here. Also felt stressed about coverage for my babies and myself and Rafaela was such a blessing, helped me with finding medical resources for my family. From the process

Im SO late on making this review, but definitely needed to make one! From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out I was surrounded by kind and caring people. Ive attended Life Choices a couple of times in the past few years. Once when pregnant with our 2nd little one in 2019/ 2020 (on their mobile facility), and again with our youngest in 2023 (main building in Elgin). Each time I went I felt so welcomed & taken care of. From the ultrasounds they offer to their classes & everything in between🩷. I was invited to attend a class, but had to unfortunately cancel because life gets in the way ; they were nothing but understanding and put me down for the next upcoming class. When I attended the class I really appreciated how they took the time to fully explain everything (even multiple times) with such patience ☺️. Even though Im not a first time mom I am new to nursing, so I was able to learn some new things. I was in a class of what seemed to be most first time parents & thinking woow, I wish I knew of a place like this with our first little one. They really do care & are in the business of making changes/ helping those who are in need 🩷. They even gave us beautiful clothes & baby supplies & helped me walk everything to the car to help load up with my little ones! I will 10/10 without ANY doubt recommend this place to everyone! We need more people out here like the ones at Life Choices. Thank you for all you do🩷.

Life Choices was a great clinic to go to with great staff. Ruth & Liz were so nice at the time of my visit/ appointment. They kept in touch with me even after my appointment to make sure I was doing fine & that I had found the appropriate help I needed to keep myself and the baby healthy. Very helpful with tons of information to give from being a first time mom to getting medical assistance such as insurance. Would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone including first time mothers! Thank you for everything!

Came here because I needed to know my options — I had a shy bladder and was told to “take my time”I told them I was genuinely considering my options and all this was was “don’t have an abortion — let me tell you how abortions are bad and dangerous”When they said they couldn’t do an ultrasound (I’m concerned about this because I don’t know how far along I am) I was told it was getting late and the nurse had “dogs to get home to” after I explained I had to get childcare for my children. She wanted me to come back and do an ultrasound at a different time and BRING MY KIDS????? I explained this was not something I’m going to bring my kids too…this is emotional and I have no clue what I’m going to do.I’m just sitting in the parking lot crying because everything just screams don’t have this baby.

I dont have an issue with the actual services they provide because its a much needed service in the community for the low-income population but I do have some moral/ethical issues with this organization. First, they misleadingly advertise themselves on the website by stating Whether you are considering keeping your baby, adoption, or abortion, you need to be well educated about your options. However, they provide one-sided, biased opinions regarding abortion as they are pro-life.The lady who did my intake tried to convince me not to have an abortion and even told me about her niece who died from an abortion. However, even the pamphlet they provide states the rate of death is very low. They are trying the best they can to convince you otherwise. Many of the staff say they are not judgmental, then proceed to advocate their pro-life beliefs and question you on your rationale. They are a Christian organization which is fine, but advertise yourself as so because you may influence the life of a women forever.

This is a Crisis Pregnancy Center. A pro-life and faith based organization that will try to talk you out of the abortion that you would potentially be having by giving you an ultrasound and providing you with incorrect statistics. Go to a Planned Parenthood.
