Before meeting Dr. Winkler, I had visited reputable clinics like SCRC, Fertility Surgical Associates, and Womens Health Group of Ventura. At each of those locations, I felt like I was being dismissed, I was insulted at one of the appointments, and I felt that I wasnt getting enough information. So I set out to find a great Dr, and that is what happened! I travelled to Dr. Winkler from Ventura because it was worth it! Dr. Winkler is so patient, answers all of my questions, she met with me in person, via video calls, regular calls and email. She has a wealth of information and she worked tirelessly to personalize my care. I had a horrible experience with an HSG where the Dr. had told me I was infertile, and Dr. Winklers intuition told her something was off, so she referred me to her specialist, where I was nervous (but I trust her), and the procedure with her Dr. was pain free, and the diagnosis was that I had two healthy fallopian tubes. If I didnt listen to her, I might have stopped my fertility journey right there. She is such an advocate for her clients. I had three unsuccessful IUIs, and after formulating a plan with Dr. Winkler, I tried IVF and am pregnant with my first baby. I have another healthy embryo waiting for me after this baby is born, and I will happily work with Dr. Winkler again.One word of advice, is that Dr. Winkler works with Dr. Calan (they are a team) and if Dr. Winkler is out of office, Dr. Calan will be the person to see. He is also great however not quite as patient, and always on the move, write your questions down and have them on hand, if its an appointment with Dr. Calan.Overall, fertility is such a difficult time, and Dr. Winkler held my hand and made me feel supported throughout our three year journey. I highly recommend her as a fertility specialist!

Dr. Winkler is the best of the best! After seeing several doctors before finding her, Dr. Winkler was the only one who was compassionate, positive and worked tirelessly to find a solution to start our family. She never made us feel like a problem that couldnt be solved. She is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and all-around amazing. With all of her other patients to see, she always made us feel special and took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on and what to expect. She also has an amazing staff and nurse Maggie who held our hand along the way. I would recommend her and her team to anyone going through the infertility journey, as I guarantee she will be your shining light throughout the process!

Dr. Winkler is the best doctor we ever met before! We did an IVF for surrogacy with her and we are so thankful of what she did for us. Dr. Winkler and her team are very sympathic, nice and communiction was perfect. We always felt safe and understood, because of her sensitive way and well prepared for everthing. We would definitly recommend it to everyone!

Dr. Winkler and her team were excellent. Nurse Ivanna was especially helpful and responsive throughout this stressful journey! I was able to get pregnant after the first frozen embryo transfer and I’m almost through the first trimester. Dr. Winkler is kind and attentive. I was very happy also that my appointments were on time with very little waiting. Unlike other medical appointments , with Dr. Winkler you can expect to be seen at your appointment time without long waits. I really appreciated that! Also, if I ever had a concern Ivanna responded very quickly. It made the process a lot less stressful. Thank you Dr. Winkler and Ivanna! Mark and I appreciate all your help!

Doctor Winkler helped my husband and me achieve our dream of becoming parents. She did that by being the only fertility doctor we have met who is a risk taker with theout of the box thought process.We went to two other fertility doctors before going to Doctor Winkler who came highly recommended. At that time, I was 43 yers old.I came to Doctor Winkler after being depressed and tired of constant reminders that my eggs were too old and the embryos could not be transferred because they were genetically impaired. I was told by one of the doctors that I needed to start thinking about using donor eggs before it will be too late and I would regret.My husband and I were not ready to give up on trying to have our own biological children.So, after reviewing my previous 3 IVF cycles and doctor notes, Dr. Winkler was being realistic but supportive of my goals at the same time. Although very honest about the statistics on IVF for women my age, Doctor Winkler gave me hope by sharing my belief of doing everything morally possible in to achieve a goal. She decided to try a completely different protocol in my treatment and encouraged me to continue fertility acupuncture treatments I started. The fertility doctor I saw before Dr. Winkler did not think much of traditional Eastern medicine and kept repeating the same protocol that clearly was not working for me.First cycle with Doctor Winkler produced much better results than the last 3 with the other doctor. Although still not of great genetic quality, some embryos could be transferred, However, Doctor Winkler gently and honestly told me not to be too overly hopeful just in case the transfer of these embryos is unsuccessful. By this time, I have read an article about a woman whose doctor took a chance on some of her aneuploid embryos that later resulted in a healthy baby. I asked Doctor Winkler if one of the embryos that had segmental abnormality could also be considered for transfer. Hesitant initially but, after getting familiar with mine and my husbands ethics, over time Dr. Winkler agreed to transfer that embryo along with the other 3 we chose (some untested).A week later, after a nerve wrecking night, we saw those two beautiful lines on the pregnancy test stick. We were over the moon with joy.Taking cautious steps, we kept our fingers crossed and did every genetic test offered. The results came back normal.Today I am 45 years old, my husband is 47 and we are happy parents of 3 months old healthy twins. I am so grateful to Doctor Winkler and her beautiful professional staff, especially Maribel, for helping us make our dream a reality.

Dr. Winkler is by far the most caring, patient, understanding, and supportive physician you will ever meet! From the minute you meet her it is as if you have known her for years. She is very honest and transparent. She sets the right expectations. After struggling with infertility for 3 years I got pregnant with TWINS on the first IVF cycle!Her staff is very friendly especially the back office nurses who all genuinely care about each patient. I highly recommend Dr. Winkler and her team!

Dr Winkler is the best. She is compassionate, kind, patient and good!!! First try with IVF and I now have a beautiful 7-month old baby boy. After meeting with other doctors prior to meeting Dr. Winkler I did not have great feelings for any of them. The first time I met Dr. Winkler I knew she was the one I wanted to guide me through this difficult and emotional process. I told her that same thing 20 minute after we met...and I never looked back. A year later, almost to the day, I was holding my beautiful baby boy. I will forever be eternally grateful. I can not recommend her and her staff enough!!!!

Dr. Winkler is one of the absolute best doctors of any specialty that Ive ever had. My case was such a difficult case. I have autoimmune disorders, but all my fertility tests were coming back great. It didnt make sense that Id had so many miscarriages prior to seeing her. The only thing she could see was that it was possible my body was constantly rejecting the babies due to my auto-immune response. We also found out that my husband had issues with his sperm too. So both of us together had a very low possibility of getting and staying pregnant without assistance. We had previously gone to see a fertility doctor at Cedars and she was extremely arrogant, condescending and just not kind. She actually didnt even do a thorough check on my husbands sperm. It was doctor Winkler who found the problem. She was exceptionally thorough in reviewing my prior medical records and in ordering all the tests she needed. Her treatment protocol was innovative and definitely outside the box of what other fertility specialists were doing. She listened to me as an equal. When I dug into medical research (I work in the medical research field), she kindly read the articles I sent to her and discussed them with me. She was consistently compassionate and just generally brilliant. While my actual fertility was great in that she was able to retrieve a ton of eggs, it still took us 4 embryo transfers before I finally stayed pregnant and graduated from her to my regular O.B. Each time she tweaked the protocol just a little and it worked! I cant say enough great things about Dr. Winkler and her staff. Even if I didnt end up staying pregnant Id still write a glowing review because she tried everything and she listened. I will also add that a couple times I had to see her colleague Dr. Kalan due to timing of their schedules and he was a gem. The whole team at LARC is the best. My nurse, Maribel was on top of everything and a great communicator. Ill be returning to Dr. Winkler a few months after I give birth to get started on our final embryo transfer for our next baby.

Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for Dr. Winkler. When we first met with her my husband and I had already been trying to conceive for five years and gone through multiple IVF failures and devastating losses. I was 44 years old and ready to give up. Dr. Winkler was so caring and sympathetic to our situation. She made us feel comfortable but even more importantly her level of knowledge and expertise gave us the confidence to try one more time. We’re so happy we did! Now we have a beautiful baby girl. Thank you Dr. Winkler!

So Thankful to Dr. Winkler for her expertise and ability to get us through IVF so effectively. Dr. WInkler is an amazing Doctor she will call me early in the morning or night just to let me know what was our next step and what can I say about her staff Lili and Margarita are the best always helping me with my late appointments, ultrasounds. medication refill and all my crazy questions they are the best!!!. We are now 2 months pregnant after trying to conceive for 13 year. All I have to say to Dr. Winkler and her staff for all the attention to thank you for everything.

Dr Winkler helped make our dream come true. Being two females from New Zealand our options for creating a family were quite limited. We decided to take control of the situation as best we could and go to the US to do IVF. It was scary and very overwhelming just thinking about the whole process but once we found Dr Winkler things became much easier. She truly is a guardian Angel. We spoke many times via Skype before we went over and she put us at ease with her wonderful caring manner and obvious intelligence and experience. Because of the realities of nature we had a bit of a roller coaster ride but the whole way through she kept us positive and optimistic. Today we have a beautiful 3 month old baby boy and we couldnt be happier. Dr Winkler will always have a special place in our hearts and we would recommend her and her wonderful team to anyone around the world who is having difficulty creating their own family.

Dr. Winkler have been a blessing to myself and my husbands life. I swear she is multi talented from fertility down to talk therapy. 😊 She was willing to make our dreams come through by working with us every step of the way financially, and mentally.

I was put in touch with Dr. Winkler and her team through Nest Egg Fertility to freeze my eggs. Dr. Winkler and her team are AMAZING!! I had the most positive and supportive expereince from start to finish. Yes, I was nervous. Most women are. I highly recommend Dr. Winkler and the LA Reproductive team to anyone looking to go this route. An extra special HUGE thank you to Amber, the amazing rock star nurse who was assigned to me. She was there for me every step of the way. No question too big, small or weird. I felt like, and did, have an entire team supporting me 24/7. For women freezing their eggs, doing In Vitro or any other service that falls under their expertise, they are the team that you want to go with. Especially being that deciding to go this route is such a personal and emotional journey for woman and families alike. Having the great support system of Dr. Winkler and her team was the foundation I needed to feel at ease through out the prosess.

Dr Winkler, what can I say about her?! She is amazing! So kind and nice. As patient I had lots if fears and stress and she always helped me with everything, and listened to my concerns even when it was too much.. she was always there for meI would totally recommend her!!!!This treatment is not easy to anyone!! you need doctor that also can understand you and be there for you anytime you need, you should feel comfortable not only one more “number” in the listAlso the staff are very friendly and nice.. they always checked up with me even after the delivery..I’m so happy that I chose the best doctor.She is our angel GOD bless her

I cant remember whens the last time I ever made a review, but Dr.Winkler is one of the sweetest DRs ever, and so are her staff. Ive been trying to have a baby with wife for the longest, since 2009 to be exact. Ive been everywhere and she the best from all the Drs that weve seen. the sad part about this story is my wife is still not pregnant. Me and my wife have excepted the fact that god doesnt want us to have a baby yet. but we will continue to try. and even with sad ending, the help and service she and her staff have given us, deserves more than 5 stars. Dr. Winkler and her staff were all so warm and caring. They really took the time to listen and gave me individual attention and a more personalized experience.
