Robert C. Brown, M.D., FPMRS

Dr Brown called to talk with me about my upcoming surgery. He is so personable and has such a pleasant manner. He carefully explained the procedure, possible outcomes, and recovery process. He was very reassuring about the care I will be receiving and informative about every aspect of the surgery and recovery. He is such a caring doctor. I’m thankful he will be the one performing my surgery.

Dr Brown and the ladies that helped him were wonderful and we also love the lady downstairs at the receptionist desk. Her name is Laura. Dr Brown was very good with explaining everything and making sure that I was OK as well as the girls in the room. I couldn’t be happier!!!

DO NOT COME TO THE NEW LOCATION, HE IS NOW UNDER INVOLVED WITH A CORPORATE CLUSTER AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY INEFFICIENT! 1. They put me in a room ASSUMING I had a UTI which I never said I have then told me “oh sorry you’ll have to come back to see him.” Then I figured out his office was upstairs for which an office person pulled me aside to tell me that this is happening a lot. So misdiagnosing patients is now the norm- I got the hell out ASAP, saying I gave them the copay and they have a urinalysis and to call me if I need to change meds. That won’t happen so moving on…you don’t have to be this desperate- there are good doctor practices out there!

I don’t normally do reviews like this. However, my experience with Dr. Brown was very positive. He is patient and kind. He has a great bedside manner. He is gentle and very thorough. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Brown is a very caring doctor and his staff is amazing. He did a bladder lift and removed my ovaries. Great follow up also. He called me at home to make sure that I was doing well. I would recommend him to everyone.

I will speak on behalf of my daughter who has communicated to me her visit. We were told by Dr Turnbull Cindy would go to the Fairhope office where they would place a control on her to control her urinary problems. Cindy let me know she was asked a lot of questions and to go to the bathroom every 2 hours . well this is not what she went for

Took MRI in Just before Christmas. I waited for results. Called office several times in January to get results. Attempted to make an appointment to get results. Wasnt allowed to make an appt. Was told Dr. would call me. Finally got a call the end of February from his nurse stating my results were normal & asked if I had questions. This was contrary to my visit. I had a problem that wasnt being addressed by Dr Brown. Had to get another doctor.

Always feel like Dr. Brown truly cares for me when I come there. He has a way of making me feel comfortable even when in that uncomfortable position. His assistant, Jennifer, is also very reassuring and professional. They are a great team, the best.

Dr Brown performed my total hysterectomy, rectocele and enterocele repairs by robotics at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. His explanations of pre-op, surgery and recovery were thorough. I experienced no surprises except for one. I experienced no adverse reactions during and after surgery. In fact, it seemed like I didn’t even have surgery except I have three small incisions. I am 70 years old. I would strongly recommend Dr. Robert Brown and his staff. Also, the staff at Thomas Hospital were pleasant and efficient.

I’m a veteran who was referred to Dr. Robert Brown of Urogyn, through the VA community care program. I arrived on time and was seen relatively quickly. Everything was explained to me and as I was stressed due to my ailment, I felt relieved and relaxed. The nurses were friendly and polite, the doctor and his nurse practitioner were also friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable. They offered me a plan of action that met my needs, and gave me hope that there was a good outcome in my future. I’d definitely recommend them to all my friends. People who have health problems in the area of Urology/gynecology (combination) should Google his office and or give them a call. He works with “Urology Associates of Mobile” but is a separate entity.They are good people!

I recommend Dr. Brown without hesitation. When he enters room with big smile and friendly greeting followed by a sincere interest in you as a person, it is easy to relax and explain why you are there. Questions follow if clarity and details are needed. No rush. After examination he immediately diagnosed my problem and recommended a successful treatment, something a previous gynecologist had not done. I have full confidence in his ability to keep me on the right track.

Urogynecology is a specialty that women have long needed because these highly sensitive medical issues are not routinely addressed by OB/GYN physicians, whose main focus seems to be on delivering babies. I was worried this would be a waste of my time, but I couldnt have been more wrong.Dr. Brown is a caring physician, gentle but thorough. I was amazed to learn of options that are available to me.I also found the staff to be kind and personable, which made this first-time visit even more pleasant.I encourage women who need skilled care for sensitive medical needs to make an appointment with Drr. Robert Brown--today.

Experience was good. However the office is under staffed and appointments are difficult to get in a timely manner. Plus office does not and will not maintain a call list in case of cancellation so you can get in sooner. On the plus side they actually have someone in the office that will communicate with you. Not some Answering Service in some other state that will not connect you to doctor office.

It was a very pleasant office and nice lady that gave me a ton of paper work to fill out , then another nice lady took me in a room and got all my information she needed and then i gave a urine sample and was put in a room to wait for the doctor , i was a little nervous since it was the first time I was meeting DR.
