On this day less than minutes ago I just ended a phone call with a phone operator at the Central avenue location. I was in the mix of trying to make an appointment but stated how I just wanted to get a refill for vitamins. The woman who answered the phone said she wanted to look into my PERSONAL HEALTH chart to see what kind of vitamins I was taking, I inquired she speak with a supervisor because I wasnt comfortable with her looking into my chart unless she was a REGISTERED NURSE. She got silent and told me the doctor will give me a call back and when I asked for her name she said Ashley. I feel super uncomfortable because she could have looked in my chart ANYWAY and gave me a fake name! The staff at the Central Avenue location needs to be reevaluated and trained on the basic phone communication skills and most importantly THE HIPAA LAWS

I was a patient at the addabbo center. A supervisor Diana Catalan is employed at the central Ave location and assisted me there. I’m writing this review in an attempt to protect others from what I was subject to. Diana is now my neighbor, she is homophobic and released my phi to Nassau county police in an attempt to use my phi to have me arrested when I committed no crime. My only relationship with her is professional through the addabbo center. I have contacted compliance and hr to report the breach of my phi. Instead of addressing the matter they blocked me and are ignoring my follow up emails in an attempt to sweep this under the rug. Showing a complete disregard for their patients information being protected and a complete disregard for the unacceptable behavior of their staff.

Staff is amazing, very professional, attentive and easy to communicate with. The wait time can be a bit long but the ladies behind the desk stay busy trying to accommodate all patients. Their bilingual skills help things move swiftly. The doctors are just as great as they put your physical and mental health primary and insure you the patient receive all services available. Over all the entire staff helps you feel welcomed and the facility offers serval different services.

This clinic is the most horrible starting with the calls and the people who are in front you arrive and ask them something they start laughing with each other but when the people who arrive speak to them in Spanish one serves as a mockery for them and that It is very wrong that they thank God that they have a job. They would see that they should be kind and grateful for having a job and bringing home a livelihood.

So I got an appointment for 1:40pm came on time, it is now 2:48pm and I am yet to see a doctor. The front desk staff were really helpful though and informed me that maybe the staff were on lunch. I was told to walk in the back to see if they were on lunch and yup.there was a sign on the door out to lunch.My issue is why make an appointment for me within the lunch hour? I had to cancel my trip to MD cause now its 2:52pm and my bus leaves at 4:30pm all the way in Manhattan...

The wait time is horrible!! If your not …….you wait even longer. Came for blood had a 9 am appointment wait over a 1 1/2 and still haven’t had blood taken it not like we come there to sit people work and just want to be seen and not wait 2 hour for a 9 am appointment it has to get better or someone needs to investigate what going on here

I literally just came back from here with my 17 month old son. Everyone has to enter through the front door now ,so children appointments no longer go around the back!!!This security had the nerve to overlook and close a door on me and my baby talking about only pharmacy, I would never recommend this place to nobody .They are very disorganized and the wait is ridiculous 🙄. How can you have people waiting outside in the cold?GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!I FELT SO DISRESPECTED ME AND MY CHILD!!!!WILL BE GOING ELSEWHERE FOR MY CHILD AND I!!!!!!!

My experience at this health center was unbelievable, it was Terrible service in providing care for the community. I don’t even know why they’re even open. my 90 year old, grandmother & I visited this center today. because she had a stomach virus and she also needed a refill on her blood pressure prescription. she was down to her last one. We arrived at 8:30 we waited three hours and 15 minutes. I decided to leave because it was unbelievable!!!

Great friendly front desk staff! Wait time is a little long but worth the wait. The Medical assistances work very good together and make you feel at ease. Pharmacy on in the building is a plus!!!

Worst place ever for prenatal care. At my 6 week appointment I was given a sonogram and was told that I was in the process of having a miscarriage. Such a shame that you could look me in the face and say such a thing with out the least bit of compassion. The worst part of it all is Im still very much pregnant going on 19 weeks with no problems or complications. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE especially Dr. Alapati. All of the other departments are great

The health insurance department is excellent! Rahab, the supervisor, is caring and very professional. Ive also been helped by Lady, Carmen and Elizabeth. All were professional and helpful. They will sort out your problems and follow up on them. This is the ONLY place I can trust to help me with my insurance problems. G-d bless them!

The waiting period is ridiculously tooooo loooonng make it worse if you walk in. Im here since 8.45 am and havent seen a doctor its 1:40pm and Im yet to be seen. I hate going to the doctor. They services are not bad ....Good customer service I should say....but the WAITING! My back hurts .😠 By the Tim I see the doctor, the blood pressure will be sky high.🤕

Worst place ever they rescheduled my appointment 2x and inconveniently I was late for work 2x due to long waiting hours the first time I wasnt even seen they told me after 2 hours of waiting that the doctor wasnt in. I am actually calling them as we speak because I cant continue coming to this horrible place while I am 6 months pregnant. They dont even deserve 1 star they need this place to be shut down!!!!!!

I visited the WIC office downstairs which is Usually a crowded place but due to the pandemic social distancing was enforced. Partitions and social distance markings well appropriately placed on the floor. Wonderful staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is one clinic I would never recommend to anyone the service there is horrible and to deal with the public they need to have morning meetings how to treat their patients or the public at the end of the day the bad workers that are there over shadows the good ones that still work there... Get it together please because this community deserve the best service...ugh

Love my kids doctor,and the staff I personally know are like family.they respect you and listen to all my concerns.and reassurance when needed. I recommend. Dr. V. Wilshire she is fantastic.

Security is helpful, and they are doing the best they can with social distancing and covid. My appointment ran long due to all the new procedures but overall pleased.

The staff is respectful and the doctors are great. The only problem is that the wait time is horrible especially if there alot of people.clear your schedule all day if u have an appointment.

Don’t bother making an appointment because they DO NOT go by appointment times. They literally go by walk ins. The wait time is an hour of more whether the place is full or not. Poor poor service, horrible wait time. Good staff though. The wait time is not worth it sorry!!

I had called to see if I can have an appointment due to a swollen eye. I needed a rederral. I was told that my doctor was on maturnity leave. I would have another doctor. I called to get an appointment with the other doctor, to find out he didnt have any openings because he had a large amount of his patients and some from my doctor, plus a staff merting he needed to attend. I called my medical insurance company and we had a three line call. A nurse told my customer person in my medical insurance that if I come at 8 am, I will be taken care of. Meantime my eye is swollen and vision was blurred. I showed up next morning, got called for nothing, never got the referal or seen by a doctor, but sent to a urgent care clinic on Rockaway Park. There I was going to be charged $50.00 so the doctor there can refer me to their doctor and charge me $150.00. Because it was a doctor not in my network. Told them to reverse my money and forget it. Called Adabo and the nearest appointment was in May. Did I meantion I was waiting since November? Not good, they need more doctors on standby. Not a happy camper!

This has to be one of the worse run doctors office I have ever been to. You can’t get through on the phone and when you do they leave you on hold forever! They need an office manager or a new way of doing business. I will be taking my business else where!! Stay away

They have to get more organized with their data.n step it up with the intake personal.for dont u see u have high volume flow of people. Not by choice of thiers.but your around the way. Stop talking to each other so much gossiping about the next person that works only one cubical away n get busy with those patients Hello.... If I can make this place all about the insurance side of it I would rate it 10 stars for ragi the Supv for getting u insured.

Worst place for wic. I was there for 8 on time. The only person there and they didnt take my until 9:30. I have 2 babies at home. Its not easy. They are so rude. And not helpful at all.

Be prepared to wait ALL day. Front desk is very RUDE. By the time you see your doctor your blood pressure will be through the roof. Stay away.

Imagine having an appointment and still waiting over an hour to see the dr. And the nerve that ask you to arrive 15 min before. Will never visit this location again.

This healthy center are a good for too much people in New York. First the reception is great all clients have sit.

Calling since 9am January 24 2022 and all it does is ring. I am a senior and have to take a cab to their location at 1288 Central Ave. Far Rockaway just, to get an appointment or be told leave your form and come back; so a cab back home what is this? /the line is ringing again and it 10:47 no answer HELP SOMEBODY

This is one of the worse places to go if you want to see a doctor. I had my appointment at 9:30 and i was attended at 12:30. After that , I had to wait an hour and a half longer for the laboratory. The wait here is by far the worst wait ever.

I went there at 8 am in the morning and was told the doctor was going to leave at 3pm. It was 2pm when I finally go to see the doctor and they told that the whole time I was there I was not in there system.

Crowded but fast to get seen. Nice helpful staff and friendly

They dont know how to assist people. They take too long & they dont know what being in an emergency need means. Dont think Ill ever come back here again.

Dr Wilshire is best thing here very good with my son. For adults it suck long wait times Dr rizzo be using goggle

The pediatrics Dr Wilshire is the best she really care about her kids I love this lady I come all the way from the Bronx just to bring my kids to her

Long waiting times. Dont understand the point of making a appointment, if you going to be seen 4 hours later. Nothing seems to know why the hold up and staff is useless.

They just take a minute too get appt but they are fairly good i go here for my teeth

I only go here for my son appointments. Usually in and out within a hour . No complaints

Joseph Addabbo has help this community for many years I remember when they were in 67st. They help me and now there here for my grand babies God bless 🙏 ❤

Wait time can be long most days. Some of the healthcare professionals need refresher courses. I diagnosed myself before they did.

The WORST I REPEAT THE WORST CLINIC IN QUEENS KEEP YOU KIDS AND YOUR FAMILY FAR AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY . REMINDS ME OF THE CENTRAL BOOKINGS .

Ive been going to this clinic since 2006. Everyone their is very respectful.

The receptionist need to be fired!! Why sit at the desk all day and not answer the phone!! Do your job!

It is very clean and they are very friendly but like in any medical center, I feel that you waste more time than you should, if you already have an appointment you should come in to see you at that time but that is not the case and you have to wait longer

I went for the first time.....and at the reception they never make you come in...you cant even ask them questions, because they ask you to wait, shshs they see that you are there waiting and they dont make you come in.....

I visit this clinic because I bring my son to the dentist here.From the dentist area, everyone who works in that area is very friendly.But those who are at the window for appointments or information. God, such despotic women and the saddest thing is that the majority of the patients there are Hispanic and how sad it is to see how Hispanic women are the most despotic in responding when someone asks them a question. question, I say you have to love your job because many are unemployed and those who have a job dont take care of it and another thing, the phone is never answered, especially now that the lines are failing.

Very bad, there is a doctor who behaves very badly, she ignores you, she gets angry at everything.

I recommend it 100% unique care, excellent Doctors, in one place pharmacy, laboratory, dentistry, insurance department, very organized and clean, immediate solutions, meets my expectations

If you dont have an appointment, he doesnt attend to you, and when you do, you end up seeing the doctor 1 hour and a half after your appointment.

Bad service from the nurses, they never know anything and dont even ask because they are always very busy.

Well, if you plan to spend the whole day waiting for a doctors appointment, this is the right place.
