The nurses and staff are some of the rudest people I have ever met. Hanging up on you, constant attitude, do not answer the phone, and blurt out private information for everyone to hear. The staff/nurses are all very young and inexperienced. Some of the doctors are good though.

The staff was always incredibly nice to all the clinics we went to. We saw a couple of different providers and each was so knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, and friendly but professional. We were between Louisville and Florence and loved both but for some reason had such a good vibe at the Florence location so we made most of our appointments there. We went to Cincinnati for our IUI appointments and everyone was always nice so the over all experience was wonderful. All locations were so clean and inviting. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better place for us to make our miracle. We have encouraged any of our friends and associates to definitely reach out to IRH for all fertility needs!!

After trying for a year and a half, I was referred to IRH in January of 2022. Our consultation was with Dr. Scheiber who was very attentive to our concerns and feelings. He was very thorough in answering any and all questions as well as in explaining and educating us on the course of treatment. He suggested 4-5 rounds of IUI and if that didn’t work, we would look at IVF. The nursing and front desk staff at Florence were also great to work with. They provided great information, education and resources and were very timely in getting me into a room and/or drawing my labs at every visit. Due to the infertility being with myself and my husband, we went to both the Florence and Rookwood locations. I can’t say enough great things about the Rookwood staff. They were so kind, understanding and personable. Our first IUI took place in March at Rookwood with Dr. Scheiber who was so kind during the entirety of the procedure. Following the IUI, I had taken a home pregnancy test 11 days post IUI and had a pretty strong positive. I kept testing until I was 14 days post IUI and had a blood test in Florence which ended up confirming my pregnancy. Everyone at the practice seemed genuinely super happy for us which made the experience that much better. Prior to my very last appointment at IRH in Rookwood, I had fallen and scraped my knee up pretty bad. The receptionist at Rookwood noticed and came out from behind her desk to where I was waiting and gave me a bandage and some things to get it cleaned up. Totally not something she had to do, but did it anyway which was the kindest thing ever. As I was leaving that appointment, which was when I “graduated”, the doctor gave us pictures of my sweet baby, congratulated us and sent us on our way. The entire staff asked to see the pictures as we left and congratulated us as well and gave us so many well wishes. I am so grateful to IRH and the entire staff. They helped us start our family and were so kind and understanding throughout the entire process. We now have a happy, healthy 2 month old baby boy, Maverick. Thank you so much, IRH!

IRH has been amazing from day 1. I’ve had experiences with each provider as well as more than 1 location, and everyone is truly caring, skilled, and wonderful! I highly recommend IRH to anyone who needs extra help growing their family!

Compassionate, patient, competent.... I just cannot say enough good things about the doctors, nurses and staff Ive worked with through our infertility journey. If youre working with IRH, youre likely already going through some rough and emotional times. They get it and you feel that. Not only that but they are on top of everything you need throughout the process. They have so much great documentation, they are quick to send in your orders and I never had to chase them down for follow-ups or next steps...they are on it! Its been a long road, but its lead to positive outcomes and Im really going to miss working with them as I transition back to my normal OB/GYN.

My husband and I had the best experience with IRH at both the Florence and Cincinnati locations. They took time understanding our needs and issues, came up with a plan, and treated us with upmost care and compassion. I 100% recommend IRH!! With God and the help of these incredibly knowledgeable doctors and nurses, we are expecting our miracle baby!

The staffing at the Florence and Rookwood locations were great, attentive, and quick at responding to call in questions. Throughout our visits we got to see all the doctors and each one was knowledgeable, professional, and had a great attitude. We had a successful 2nd cycle of IUI and have since graduated! We could not be more thankful for this team!

I can’t say enough good things about IRH! I have been a patient there for about 4 yrs. Everyone from the office staff, nurses, to the amazing doctors have treated us like family from day 1. I truly believe they wanted us to get pregnant as much as we did. Although my odds were slim because of my age we had 3 out of 4 successful IVF transfers. I highly recommend IRH to anyone battling infertility!

The staff at IRH is very caring and compassionate, the day I walked in for my iui the receptionist looked at me and told me that today was going to be a good day and then she prayed for me. The staff goes above and beyond and responds quickly and timely to any questions you may have. I highly recommend IRH to anyone seeking fertility treatments.

After having 3 miscarriages and no living children I decided I need to leave the fertility clinic I was with and go to IRH. Thanks to Dr Awadalla I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with twins. We did not have to do extensive treatments, he was so confident in his protocol, and it worked in 3 months. I am unbelievably grateful because I worried I would never be a mom. I worried I would never carry a healthy baby and now I am carrying 2. They truly are miracle workers.

After a year of trying a variety of treatments (oral medications) at a business in Louisville after finding out I had PCOS, I wanted to take it to the next step. The doctor there said I was not a good candidate for an IUI and urged us to do IVF. Obviously that was a huge step to take knowing it would take $20-$25k. He told me, come back to me when you’re ready to do IVF.” My husband and I wanted another opinion and had heard about IRH in Florence. We decided to get an appointment there and Dr. Awadalla recommended an IUI, which surprised us considering our doctor in Louisville was against it. I had no faith whatsoever it would work but we moved forward with it. I got pregnant with twins the first try. I would highly recommend this place. I really felt like they wanted what was best for me. Not my money. And now with the Louisville location that just opened, I am thrilled for all my Louisville-area neighbors!!!

I can never put into in words how thankful I am for IRH. They have made my greatest wish come true with the birth of my son!! From the very first visit we knew we had chosen the right place if it was meant for us to get pregnant. Every member of the staff is awesome made us feel as if we were family. Son #2 is due in six weeks!! #IRHisthebest

I started with IRH because of so many 5 star reviews but I’m baffled WHY. There are other providers in the city that will LISTEN to your concerns and get to know you. After 3 failed IUIs with Dr Burwinkle and the lack of feeling like he ever even read my chart we switched to a different practice. We just finished our first round of IVF and currently in TWW with a specialist who listened to our concerns and treated us as individuals. Look around ladies! After back to back miscarriages and no answers, Dr. Scheiber and staff took me under their wings! I wanted desperately to have another baby, and while we ended up not needing fertility treatment, per se, they allowed me to stay for at least my first trimester before releasing me back to my routine OB. I was terrified that I would lose this baby! I can recall countless emails to Dr. Scheiber about if this HCG level was ok and he would always immediately calm me! Low and behold, my rainbow baby was actually born on Dr. Scheiber’s birthday, 6 yrs ago! Every year, whether he likes it or not, I always email him to wish him a happy birthday, send him pics of Emma and thank him and his staff for everything! IRH is seriously a group of miracle workers!

I CANNOT thank Dr. Schieber enough for absolutely everything. We came to IRH when we moved to Kentucky. We were clients at a facility in Michigan for 3 years with no success at achieving a pregnancy beyond 3 weeks. 9IVF transfers, 2 retrievals, 5 IUI and no baby. Dr. Schieber identified a possible inhibitor to pregnancy and scheduled a procedure right away no questions asked. He found a septum and removed it. We’re now expecting our first child thanks to Dr. Schieber’s excellent client care. We’re so grateful for Dr. Schieber!-Alan and Jessica MacPherson

I can only say wonderful things about the Institute for Reproductive Health. The doctors are compassionate and very informative. Dr. Scheiber and his staff guided me through the IUI process with patience and support. I am the proud mother of an eighteen year old and a thirteen year old. I would definitely utilize their medical practice again if I was interested in expanding my family.

IRH helped us get our miracle baby after 2 years. They were our family. They comforted us with every negative pregnancy test and got to celebrate us with our positive pregnancy test!! We wouldn’t have our precious boy without them!

I can’t say anything negative about IRH! They were amazing and so helpful. Our daughter will be 12 this March and we will always be thankful for everything they did for us. Highly recommend!!

These caring professionals make you feel at ease during a very vulnerable time. They care! Doctor Awadala contributed so much in my well being and healing, and made it possible for my body to be a hospitable place for my rainbow baby. Thank you for all that you do! you are a blessing to so many!

14 months of treatment by Dr. Awadalla. 14 months of excuses from Dr. Awadalla,every month of failed treatment we were given just a little more hope to get us to try again, each month the Dr would add something new to the regiment, Dr. Awadalla has no interest in getting any couple pregnant,, no interest in figuring out what actually could be wrong preventing pregnancy. hes no more than a sponge to soak up your hard earned money since most all insurance companies will not cover any infertility treatments. He has zero compassion for his patients, comes in does his thing says this is your month and then when you come back a month later when the previous round fails hes more than happy to do another $800 treatment, and promise you will get pregnant (no good Dr should ever make any promises) Dr Awadalla swindled nearly $15,000 from us, and as my wife sat in his office in tears about to break the good Dr said lets try donor eggs now. He repeatedly blamed a small cyst on her ovary and said its most likely your endometriosis. after all the heart ache, mental anguish and wasted time and money we switched to Bethesda and had no issues, our Dr confirmed the small cyst was no issue, and my wife had no endometriosis. we had compassionate, caring doctors and success on the very first treatment. so if you want to waste time, money and listen to lies by all means become a patient at IRH. if you want the best experience possible in a trying situation visit Bethesda. we are glad our son will be here in 6 weeks

I’ve called multiple times, requested a consultation multiple times online and have yet to hear anything back. Was referred by a good friend that had nothing but great things to say but it’s extremely disappointing that I have yet to hear anything back. Going to look elsewhere.

Been trying to get an appointment for over a week now. Nobody answers the phone. When I filled out the online form I got an automated response saying theyre closed for Thanksgiving (its mid December), and that someone would reach out in 2-3 days. Obviously that hasnt happened so I guess Ill need to schedule elsewhere.EDIT: Months later, I cannot get a copy of my medical records because nobody answers the phone or responds to voicemails. Every single phone option leads to a voicemail. Nobody responds to them, and it is impossible to get a human being on the phone.

My husband and I tried to have a baby for 5yrs before looking for help. I now have a very health beautiful 10 month old baby girl. I will always be grateful to these wonderful people who work here.

All members of staff were helpful, friendly, and well educated throughout the entire process. We never had to wait anymore than 5-10 min at either offices. We would highly recommend to anyone starting or currently going through the process!

What a compassionate group of folks! Nurse Sarah is SO helpful and we just love Dr. Awadalla! So thankful for these knowledgeable people in helping our dreams come true!

All the doctors at IRH are wonderful. We appreciate everything they have done for us.
