I had not made an appointment, just a walk-in. I didnt have a long wait. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. I was so glad to see the PA, she quickly knew what treatment I needed and quickly called my pharmacy and expedited the medication.

Open late, seen fast. Bad thing is there is no way to call and speak to staff. My prescription didnt go thru so I had to leave pharmacy, return to urgent care to have them resend. I then had to go back to the pharmacy. I could understand if place was busy. Even if it were, there should be a way for pharmacist to contact the provider or for me to leave a messsage for provider vs returning to urgent care.

Staff was friendly and caring. I was taken in quickly and was treated very well. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Northwell Health-GoHealth for urgent care.

How quickly I was taking into the room and the complete care and bed side manner. All were concerned about me and that really helped me. Im improving every day. Please thank all the nurses and doctors!!

Hit or Miss. Depends on the doctor present. I got COVID in September and the doctor, she was amazing and extremely helpful. As of recently. I had eye pain that had progressed to other places, cheek, & jaw. As I was evaluated, I overheard the doctor present tell another nurse whom I’ve never met until then about an incident I came in for 6 MONTHS AGO. Serious HIPAA violation. I was then asked if my symptoms were real. As a minority woman, it’s bad enough doctors don’t listen to us but really? Won’t be going back. I’d rather stay sick.If I ever see that doctor, I’m telling him off and requesting another cuz ain’t no way

I went there on a Saturday morning after booking it on my phone. My appointment was within 1 hour of my request. The staff was professional & courteous

Highly recommend this place!! I just moved here from FL so I didn’t have a PCP lined up yet to check on me. They were able to get me into a room within 10 minutes and ran a test right away. The PA was so nice and took the time to answer all my questions/concerns without making me feel like she was in a rush. Northwell followed up with me the following day and got me in line with doctors who were within a 5 minute drive of my house. The facility was very modern/clean as well. Highly recommend. The people working at the facility work together well. I was a walk in and was seen quickly. It was easy to sign in. I was seen by a PA Kerri. I had eye pain. She said how to treat it and if problem continued to return the next day. I followed Kerri’s direction and I was within an hour without eye pain.

Friendly and professional staff—they took good care of me, including follow up phone calls to ensure after care was working. And I was in and out quickly without having made an appointment in advance. Would recommend!

That Urgent Care Location is the best office I have ever been too. My past Primary Care Physician of 28 years could have taken lessons from Kerri and her staff there. The very best. There arent enough stars to describe how I felt when I left. I was treated with genuine care. 😊

ALL of the staff was extremely caring and efficient. Hands down the best experience at an urgent care. My daughter felt at ease the entire time(she’s 5 and was nervous before entering the building because she was feeling so sick) the receptionist was extremely friendly and fast at checking us in. Dr. Peter Barone was very sweet and intelligent, great with kids!!

The staff is great. My PA was really awesome. I had a sinus infection but it was viral sinus infection. Kris the PA was amazing and I would definitely see her again. She knew her stuff. The Physician Assistant was knowledgeable and friendly. She put me at ease. The medication she prescribed worked quickly and took care of the rash I had. The facility was very clean. The wait was very reasonable.

The staff is great. Did not have to wait too long. Photo of my insurance card wouldnt upload. Receptionist was courteous and quickly resolvedthe glitch. The medical staff listened to me, understood and handled my situation quickly.

It was a busy day and the waiting room was full. The receptionist was kind and very efficient. Jason and Christian were professional and could see how sick I was and they didnt waste any time getting me in and out so that I could get the medication I needed to start me on the mend. Had to go twice this week for my daughter- an X-ray one afternoon and the other day a covid swab first thing when they opened (we had a rough week). We were seen immediately both times. Staff are AMAZING! Special mention are Sam and Maria. We went a feel months ago and Keri took care of us-she’s great too! They are all so great with kids (and the parents too!). The rooms were very clean as well. Highly recommend this facility!

Amazing to have a supportive team close to home! The staff was so attentive and agile when I checked in. My wait was just about 30 minutes. The doctor I saw was so attentive & knowledgeable. I felt I was in great hands through the whole process

Would not recommend due to the EXTREMELY long wait time. I checked in at 105pm, was told it would be an hour and wasnt called back into an exam room until 250pm. Then I proceeded to wait in exam room for another 40 minutes to be seen by a physician. Whats the point of calling me into the room if you werent ready for me? I came in for a relatively simple issue but I wish I went elsewhere. I wasted my Saturday afternoon just waiting around. My medicine was also sent to the wrong pharmacy even though during the online check in, I entered the pharmacy information when prompted. The provider who seen me was very nice and helpful, which is why my review is 3 stars.

Ive got here a couple of times and always had bad experiences. Recently a staff member who was symptomatic of illness and refusing to wear a mask gave me a nasty attitude when I asked to see another provider

Sprained ankle, needed emergency opinion unworthy of an actual emergency room visit. Had never been to an urgent care before. Appointment made online, was seen immediately and cared for by four different specialists and receptionists. I highly recommend this location, based on the experience I had on Monday 10/31/22 ~ 3pm

Thank god for this place; my doctor is never available. They are courteous and thorough and they have an online appointment system that works very well. I always EXPECT there will be a wait because well, hello, this is like an emergency room; however I have never really waited that long to be seen even when they have been pretty busy. Thank you to all the staff there.

All of the staff are pleasant and welcoming. Check in process is quick. Had a minor issue with my lab results, staff worked quickly to resolve the issue. Highly recommend this place!

I would give it 100 stars! It was a most rewarding experience. Very helpful and courteous the staff. And Kerri was great in treating me in a most professional manor. The only problem was reaching Urgent Care I phoned and was on hold for 45 min. I drove there and my call was answered as I pulled into a parking space. Then I found out that the calls went to a central station. Let people call directly to where they are going would save time.

On the whole, the experience of getting a COVID 19 test was excellent. The PA was compassionate and experienced. The place appeared clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The test results came back much faster than expected. My only disappointment was waiting at least 15 minutes in the exam room instead of outside.

Called at 8 to schedule appt no answer when I showed up no one in waiting area just staff chit chattingPeter the PA obviously new at job sees me pus in eyestremendous mucus in throat noted on exam chest clear had this getting progressively worse since Monday all pus now green and yellow. he offered me a 3 day predinosone!!!& padaday for eyes. I was furious 50 and now to return in 2 days so he will finally give antibotic that heit was a 2 because it was clean states Re over prescribed. did he ask last time I used them may7 yrs ago. just follows Protocols not listening to patient for 50 I would never go back and they should answer their phones I gave it a two because it was clean and reception was nice

And the attending DR was generous with her time and patiently & cheerfully answered all of our questions & concerns. Much appreciated! Everything was well organized and easy breezy too!

Outstanding care from the door to triage to the procedure and back out the door. Dad is 98 and needed staples taken out of his head. Everyone was so, so pleasant. The PA whose name escapes me said she loves every day and loves helping people. Thanks to everyone for the awesome service

I went there Saturday. None of the people I saw introduce themself. And today I called for test results they couldn’t find my name because they entered wrong. The lady on the phone Britney seems clueless and one of the practitioners there who give me the results couldn’t explain my test results.

The receptionist was amazingly friendly and helpful! All employees were very empathetic, informative, and helpful. They listened to my concerns and helped me figure out a plan of care. Very cohesive Northwell Team! Thank you!

Staff is so rude. I came to this urgent care to get my girlfriend checked out. We proceeded to wait in the waiting area where they suggest that it wasn’t encourage. So we left to the car. Later on head back in because it was her turn to see the patient. I went to have a sit where the staff once again said “ we encourage you not to wait here cause of covid”. I said okay I don’t mind waiting. Mind you there no else there. Than an other staff member yelled no you can’t wait here. You have to wait in your car. The questions is what if I walked or took a cab I would’ve had to wait in 90 degrees weather. Very unhappy wouldn’t recommend. North well should be training their staff a little better patient and family should be a priority even through these difficult times. Patient look for an urgent care to limit there exposure. An easy quick wipe down of the area should be sufficient.

Sign at front desk says Be nice to staff I guess they have a lot of confrontations at front and I found out why. Rude nasty, condescending front desk person. Hell, Doctor even came out yelling. So unprofessional . Went to ER at Glen Cove hospital around the corner. All this because I asked why 3 hr wait with no patients or even cars in parking lot?Thought it was called walk- in for a reason.Will never consider going back or recommending.

Showed up at 4:25pm and the waiting room was empty. Staff disappointed to see me I assume because they close at 5pm. I am a nurse and self pay. They turned me away saying that they are done seeing patients for the day. Offered for me to drive to the Roslyn location or to come back tomorrow. No thanks, I should have gone to CITYMD like I usually do. You guys failed me. Just needed a quick throat culture. Disappointed to say the least. As I type this, it isnt even your closing time yet. Didnt realize you need an appointment for urgent care walk in clinic.

My husband dropped a jar on his toe splitting it open so he needed a few stitches. We waited 45 minutes to be seen, so I got a little impatient and asked what was taking so long. Then Maria came in and explained that they were inundated, and she was the only one there. I felt so bad aboutsaying anything because then she took such good care of him! They need another clinician there to help her...she did a fantastic job!

Staff was not polite while arriving for my toddlers appt. in fact they were very rude, and pressed for time.we went sunday the only doctors open but they were little to zero help. completely brushed off sayin my toddler was fine..didn’t take it serious and was sent home no recommendations etc.. needless to say we rushed to hospital next morning... however the biggest disappointment and disbelief is when i called back for my toddlers covid test and they said it was “lost in transite” .. terrible excuse for urgent care

I booked an appointment online, which was easy to do and chose what Im coming in for. The staff was friendly and efficient. The staff asked me which covid test I wanted to do. They answered all my questions about testing for covid while in isolation and why you could continue to test positive for up to 90 days after recovering from covid. They patiently answered why and reassured me that Im not contagious after the 10 days in isolation (I was on my 10th day of isolation and was testing before returning back to work). I was able to go home and come back to get my test results, which they printed out for me and brought out to me in my car.

I was very scared when I wanted to View Urgent Care with the level of the blood pressure that I had and hoped calm my nerves. After being seen by the doctor or physician assistant she prescribed lopressor for my high blood pressure and it has gone down significantly so Im very happy about that. She made me feel at ease and calm my anxiety; that I am truly appreciative thank you

Went to this urgent care and the one in Roslyn for a flu test and both came out negative. Ended up going to the Er and finally got diagnosed properly (influenza A) and prescribed Tamiflu. The rapid test are pretty inaccurate this happened to my cousin and sister in law at this urgent care. Keep that in mind if you have an infant or someone at higher risk within the household.

I know they just opened and need to work out any issues. The problem I had was several times they confirmed my allergy to penicillin. When I go to pick up my prescription the Pharmacist was waiting for the Physicians Assistant to send another script. She had prescribed me a form of penicillin. How does one do that?? Thank goodness the pharmacy checks all my allergies. I should have run out the door when they could not figure out what patient was in what room. I loved other Go Healths I have been to. But after this I will not go back to one ever again.

Being forced to have weekly Covid tests at work is not pleasant, but the friendly and helpful staff here at Northwell made it very quick, painless and convenient. I registered online and made an appointment on Sunday night for Tuesday. Most gentle Covid test I have had! They also take my insurance for the rapid test, which another place did not. I will be back weekly.

Unprofessional is an understatement. Maria Scovalli hung up on me. The girl at the desk wouldnt make an appointment for me. Forces me to show I.D. to make an appointment. Told me to make the appointment on line, unless of course its too difficult for me. Very insulting. Never had an experience of such. If I had a learning disability, I would have been screwed. They yelled at me and they were not helpful. Told me to go to the E.R. The parking is in back of the building and my I had trouble walking because Im visibly impaired. This place gets a -100 from me.

Went there and stayed in the line for almost 2 hours. Finally git inside and told me to sign in and they will call me when its my turn. Waited for 6 hours and no one called me. Went back the following day and told them that I was there day before. All they can say is sorry you have to sign your name again and we will call you and same thing no one called me. Terrible waited another 1 hour and nothing. At least call people and inform them whatever is going on so that they can go somewhere else. Unprofessional!!!

Staff was very caring, helpful and polite. Dr on call was very complete, answered all my questions and prescribed just the right medications to help me feel better. All the care I was looking for. Very pleased.

Awful experience. I need a covid test to adhere to NYS travel guidelines. They force me to do a virtual visit before I can make the appointment for the test, which is a waste of time and money, since I’m asymptomatic. So I wait a day and a half for the 3 minute virtual visit. Then I have to wait for them to call me to schedule the test. Of course they never call! So I try them for hours, and can’t get through. So I drive to the location. They won’t test me. I tell them my whole dilemma, but not only won’t they test me, they won’t even schedule an appointment. They tell me to call the virtual visit number. So I do...They tell me to call the location! Total runaround. I am trying to follow the guidelines, do the right thing... have been isolating for 5 days... followed their process, and can’t get a test! Infuriating...

This has been the best urgent care experience I have had. The staff was amazing and worked as a team. I love that they explain everything, are very patient and extremely knowledgeable. I don’t want to be sick but I know where I will go if I do.

Horrific bedside manner ! Never again will I go to this factory in case of an emergency ever again! An older doctor there completely dismissed my ailments I was there 4 days ago my left ear is hot burning red for no apparent reason tells me I have poison ivy on my ankle poison ivy is supposed to blister !!!! wanted to put me on vertigo medication too embarrassed me in front of nurse and my husband w his berating patronizing ignorant attitude and send me out the door !!!! would not do any routine bloodwork on me said to go to my primary care physician for that!!!! Now I have to wait until Wednesday to go see my doctor because this urgent care refuses to do bloodwork even though I have painful alarming symptoms!!!! Completely inappropriate comments about women’s periods as well !!! My daughter had to come here about seven months ago to get a Covid test and made inappropriate comments about my daughter telling me she was getting her period this man is obsessed with women and their menses It’s irrelevant information and he’s disgusting and-is very inappropriate!!!!! This “Doctor” obviously hates his job and just came in on a Sunday to collect his $2000 Selfish unethical individual, tell me Doc is it because YOUR wife has menopause that’s why you’re there on Sunday ?! How do YOU like it?! not sure WHICH bizarro medical school YOU went toBut in MY world your medical behavior is sueable!

Maria Scorzelli, PA was very kind, professional, and compassionate. Her diagnosis was spot on and she probably saved me alot of unecessary suffering. I was seen in a matter of minutes, had a referral for the next day and the medications I needed immediately.

I went to this urgent care on forest Ave in Glencove around 2:30 pm today. I tried calling from early in the morning but no one answer the phone so I went on the website and saw that I could walk in which I did. When I arrived, I was told to come in and was ask by a young lady if I have an appointment. I told her no because I have been calling all day to know what to do but no one answered. There was a black male sitting beside her who took the conversation over and ask why I was there, I explain to him why and he got so rude because I ask him how long I wold have to wait, I have to be at work for 3pm and if today is not possible then I would have to come back. I ask him politely his name and he told me that I dont need to know his name and I should not come back but apply on line because he will not help me if I came back. This is my second time here but this guy need to know that it is my money and others that is paying him and if he cannot be respectful to the customers, he should not be working there at all. I will not accept anyone disrespecting me especially when Im paying them.

I have a concern about the care I received at the Northwell Urgent Care at 71 Forest Avenue in Glen Cove New York on Monday May 16 2022. I was seen and treated by Stephen Gunn DO for pharyngitis.He insisted I had strep throat despite a negative quick strep. He did not send a throat cns. He said he was sure I had strep throat and prescribed amoxicillin 500mg tid for 10 days.After 5 days I noticed a minor rash on my legs. Despite the fact that I had previously taken amoxicillin uneventfully. By Monday May 23 it had progressed and at the advice of another physician I discontinued the amoxicillin.Despite starting antihistamines and then prednisone the rash progressed to involve my entire body to a severe reaction which required an emergency room visit at St. Francis Hospital on Wednesday May 25. There I was evaluated by the ER staff and a dermatologist. They concluded that there had been no evidence of an acute bacterial infection; it was a drug reaction. My physicians were concerned that an antibiotic had been inappropriately prescribed by Dr. Gunn. There had been no documentation of a bacterial infection.As a result of this inappropriate treatment I missed a week of work, was unbearably uncomfortable, and am now financially responsible for additional unnecessary medical expenses.I am concerned for my community who might avail themselves of Northwells Urgent Care Centers.

All the staff is Lazy and unprofessional. I came in and the doctor was sleeping on her desk... no one greeted us just told me to sign in after I waited at the reception desk for 5 minutes. I’m a medical assistant so as least I knew what to say and expect. I feel sorry for those who don’t and really need help from this place. The next day,I had an adverse affect to the medication and the receptionist told me , after hanging on me , to continue the medication. How!! You don’t have that authority to say that. There’s more to complain about but I’m too weak give this all my energy.

Definitely lacking MD experience, under prescribed medication dosage, had to deal with discomfort a couple extra days until visiting Dr. Miller at the Jericho location. He & his staffs knowledge of medical issues and diagnosis abilities are far superior than the Glen Cove office. Worth the extra drive for sure, identical fees for better service.

Like a previous review said, lacking MD experience. The receptionist and medical assistant both referred to the PA as The Doctor which is completely false. It is unprofessional to mistake the two. The PA wanted to prescribe me something before even examining me and referred me off. Very friendly people though; but needs more professionalism and expertise.

Extremely unprofessional and very rude staff this place should be shut down for poor operation I went there with a injury went to get an x-ray to find out I have a broken toe my toe is black and blue swollen I kindly asked the doctor about pain medicine to help the pain and right away with no consideration I was denied medicine for an injury unbelievable.

I went to this urgent care after 1 week of a horrible cold and cough...I checked in at 11:30 ish....I was called up front for my copay and ins info at 12:00 pm...I went into the exam room at 12:10 or so...just to wait till 12:53 for the PA to see me...and thats only because I had to go ask how much longer..Only to find the PA looking at a lunch menu online...thats when they told me I was next...She spent approx 5 min with me and said it was bronchial and she will sent over some meds for me...I went to pick up my meds at the Pharmacy just for them to tell me theres nothing in there system . I called the office and they told me theres nothings in my chart that states meds. They said I would need to call back on Monday because thats when the PA is in. I understand it gets busy and dont get me wrong the PA was nice...but my experience at this location has been the worse. I really wished I wouldve never gone to this location... I would never go back again. Now I have to go spend more money and go to a different Doc to see of I can get something to relieve my discomfort..

Eased my worries, helped with explaining everything in a manner I understood to make the Best choice for my recovery. Also said if I had Any questions about anything to just call.

The service attitude is very good, the medical facilities are complete, the doctors are skilled, and the patients feel relieved and comfortable

The staff was very courteous and friendly, believe me that goes along way! I play on the opposite team :-). I must say I was very impressed with the professionalism and expedition of treatment.

I like the staff so friendly and I dont have to wait long for the doctor also its very clean

Kerri Sujeski, PA-C was knowledgeable and pleasant, and she communicated clearly. As a result I learned that I had COVID-19, and I could begin treatment with Paxlovid right away.

The provider who assisted and Conrad were extremely professional. Got me in and out quickly. My script was ready at the pharmacy as soon as I arrived there.

We were quickly received and provided assistance to my son. The staff is very friendly.

If I could give negative stars it would be for this place. Very unprofessional. I have been there twice and had terrible experience both times. One time they said they would call cvs for my medicine, They never did and they closed and I couldn’t get my medication. Absolutely horrific.

Great staff. All the PAs are great. Ex-ray tech on staff and he is terrific. Support staff move things along quickly. This is the place to go for healthcare.

Worse experience ever, long wait . No coutersey to patients. rude. long wait for covid testing. after waiting charged for molecular test w insurance, wo being notified ahead of time. Not good w time management.

My daughter was there and told she probably has the flu . They DID NOT TEST HER. NOR DID THEY TREAT HER WITH TAMAFLU.She went to her regular GP and they tested and treated her and our family. DO NOT EXPECT quality care

No one answers. Called 6 times trying to schedule a rapid COVID test for my uncle who’s traveling back home. Had to drive 30 mins to Prohealth Urgent care who took him in right away

This establishment is very efficient and staff is always prepared and professional. They all have sweet demeanor to them as welll! That pretty much sums it up.
