Worst place to be at for prenatal and postnatal care. The providers are amazing, Dr. Godbout, O’Jafri, and Dr. Deyerle to be specific. Amazing care from them. However, the front staff and manager of this practice is BS. You are wasting your time. They’re all rude and unprofessional. I’ve been billed incorrectly countless times at this place on their end. They schedule you for all kinds of things during pregnancy and then don’t tell you about potential pricing and meeting your deductible with insurance. The manager is an enabler of her piss poor staff, she wouldn’t tell me her last name and she also hung up in my face. Went in for my 6 week check up to and requested my FMLA paperwork be processed to have a sooner return to work date, which was not possible from staff for whatever reason. So I cannot return to work until my jobs stated return to work date. This turned into an argument with the front desk and a nurse, and did not end well when somebody finally confronts them about all of their bs. They can dish out what they give but cannot take it in return. Let’s not even talk about how there is at least an hour wait each visit. Pregnancy is supposed to be a very happy time in women’s life as well as their prenatal appointments and unfortunately, this practice was by far the most unenjoyable place to be for care. I truly dreaded every appointment as well as my boyfriend did. Tara at the front desk has a very smart mouth and is unhelpful, it’s like she wants you to struggle and she already has a negative response in her head for you. Unfortunately the majority of the time spent here is dealing with the nurses and staff, not the providers who are amazing. The only reason I stayed for my entire pregnancy was because I had already paid lots of money to them and I also wanted to just be done and over with it. Do yourself a favor and just go elsewhere mamas. I’m very sure they will respond to my review and assure that I am in the wrong and they’re completely right. As all practices are “supposed to” by covering their self on the internet.

The doctors here are absolutely fantastic. The reason I only give one star is because their billing department is HORRIBLE and most of all the front staff are overall rude, except one lady. I had to continually bug them to take money out of my account that I owed them for delivery. Which by the way is almost $500 out of pocket. Not to mention I had one check out lady argue with me about when I could find out the gender via NIPHT test. They are very pushy about money yet refuse to take it out when they are supposed to. I found a new OB which was sad because I did like the doctors. I hope they fix this issue

Woooo!!! This place is not ideal for anyone!!Tara, the front desk employee, is just rude and nasty!! She definitely needs training in the customer service field. The sad part is, most people visit this office bc they are having a baby and it’s suppose to be a happy time in their lives BUT nope, not this place!! Money hungry establishmentChoose another doctors office!!

Had to leave this office and find a new practice to be seen at for my Wife’s prenatal care almost 30 weeks into pregnancy after an extremely disrespectful, condescending, and seemingly malicious appointment from Dr. Deyerle. If the appointment alone wasn’t enough we later found out that he wrote in her notes that she “requests repeat c-section at 39 weeks” when she very clearly and repeatedly expressed her desire for an attempt at VBAC. Even after his fear mongering method of patient education. He will not have your best interest at heart. Please avoid obstetrics and gynecology of Hampton due to risk of clinical manipulation regardless of what’s best for you and your family.

I have been a patient of this practice for over 50 years. Ive had 3 of my 5 children with you, annual appointments, bladder tact, hysterectomy and other appointments. My daughters have had children with you. Now because I am considered a NEW PATIENT, because I am a senior you wont see me, I cant come to you? Ridiculous! Dont tell me the Government can tell Dr. Jaffre who he can and cannot see as a patient!

I cannot say enough positive things about this location. To begin with, the front desk staff have endured nine months of my anxiety, endless questions, and never once answered me with anything except compassion and genuine efforts to ensure I got the answers I needed. Scheduling was typically a breeze with one or two exceptions that were always quickly resolved. They truly went above and beyond not just for me but everyone in the waiting room. The doctors and nurses were lovely! The only complaint I have is that I was told my son had a certain serious condition that my husband suffered from, and I was highly distressed until it was ruled out. It should have been better explained to me that the condition can’t be and wasn’t diagnosed until tests were done to determine whether or not he actually had it. That was more of iffy communication than anything else, and the only complaint I have.Ultrasounds were occasionally uncomfortable, but that’s to be expected when you’re growing a little human and no position really feels good to be in. The ultrasound tech was always sweet and patient, and did a great job getting my little guy’s measurements/photos.All of the doctors were great. Dr. Deyerle delivered my dear son and we have no words to express how awesome he made that experience. I had a difficult first birth and was extremely nervous about this one, but my recovery was quick and I had so much less pain than last time that I’m truly incredibly impressed. He was wonderful throughout the entire nine months. I’ve had a million questions and he as well as the other doctors answered each one in turn. They answer their client portal quickly and call back as soon as possible. You aren’t left waiting for weeks to hear back from them!I wish I had more than five stars I could give this amazing practice. Everyone here cares for each person who walks through the doors, and at one of the most important times of your life, I can’t stress how vital that is to women and their families! This is definitely the place to be for top-notch care and astounding support.

Ive been going to this clinic for a couple of years! Dr. Basco has some of the best bedside manners ever! Hes straight forward and gives you all of your options. Hes made my life tremendously easier with the removal of my fibroids! On the hand, Dr. Jafri is a blatant liar. He accused me of saying things that I absolutely did not say, and then he refused to fulfill my prescription after I had my appointment, my insurance was charged, and I paid my copay. His nurse is rude and disrespectful; he upholds her with his lies and foolishness. Thank God this is not my primary care facility! I am totally baffled with the ridiculousness of my last visit. One thing for certain...God doesnt like ugly, and God will definitely get the last laugh! 😇

Edit: I was charged $15 for requesting my medical records. Although I requested them virtually twice through the portal (never received them), they only responded and sent them via fax and charged me for it. I’ve never been charged for medical records from a provider. Way too many policies and so glad I switched providers, so I don’t have to follow ridiculous rules and have petty charges just to receive care.The providers are nice, but they are really strict on policies. I understand following what’s recommended by a healthcare professional but at the end of the day it’s my choice on what to do with my care. When I let them know I was going to try out another practice but wasn’t 100% sure if I was going to switch yet (trying different providers to find a fit for you is a thing!), they seemed offended and were kind of rude about it. Not a place for making informed decisions about your care, they’ll discharge you as a patient for a single missed visit.

Going here for my first pregnancy and everyone is always so pleasant and kind. Plus they have new ultrasound equipment so the images of my baby are super clear!! Every doctor, lab tech, and front receptionist has been amazing. Love this place!!!

Dr. Basco is the best! Hes definitely one of my most favorite docs Ive ever had. Very personable (he tells great stories :D...), hes very knowledgeable, and he listens. He does what makes the most sense and recommends solutions/treatments based on what is in the patients best interest, which I greatly appreciate because not all docs operate in this manner. The staff are all very pleasant as well. Ive been going here for years, and they always put the customers first. Overall, becoming a patient at this practice is highly recommended by me should you need these services.

Friendly and welcoming office staff. Nurse Katie is very knowledgeable and pleasant. I have been a patient of Dr. Basco for several years and can not imagine changing providers. He takes the time to talk and get to know his patients and make sure you are comfortable with everything. Highly recommend this office!

The most incompetent office I have ever been seen at. I went for a follow up and after waiting 2 hours I was told my insurance would not cover anything done in the office that day. Fine so I left. Get a letter a month later covering themselves saying I’m neglecting my health. Guess they were wrong after actually reviewing my files. Ha no I went to another office where they actually care and follow proper procedure. Good luck ladies going here I would never!Edit: A simple I’m Sorry would go a long way. I scheduled the follow up. I explained what I needed to have done and why, and my past history. I sent you the medical records. I left because you said nothing would be covered that day, so why would I stay? You made the mistake by not recognizing why I was actually there and for some reason not listening to me or even reviewing my records until days after. I assumed you had read them and understood what I needed to have done. I did my part, you failed and should take responsibility for that.

I have never had a bad experience . Dr. Basco and his team are amazing. I apologize to the patients that are waiting because we have an extensive conversation about not just my gynecological health but life in general. He is thorough, attentive, and gentle. I always look forward to seeing him.

From the beginning of getting an appointment to the appointment day I received the most favorable treatment. Everyone has been so polite and professional! I really like my doctor and will continue to use this facility! My Dr. Godbout was wonderful! She really listened to what I had to say and I felt really comfortable with her! Thank You Doctor so much!! See You in a couple of weeks!!

Excellent practice. Appointments are available in a reasonable amount of time. Both the administrative staff and the medical technicians all provide both professional and congenial care which is very difficult to achieve in a doctor’s office these days. Dr. Basco is the most amazing physician. He takes the time to truly discuss your personal concerns and needs to achieve the best overall outcome for you as a patient. When you can combine the genuine care and skill of a physician with a great staff it’s definitely a five out of five rating!

Dr. Rachel McAdams is amazing! She is always very kind and really listens to you fully. She normally goes to the Newport News location, but is occasionally in Hampton.She always makes you feel at ease, and never bad about any problems.The people at the front desk are also very kind and professional! Overall great experience. This is my second year going to them.

My service and experience for my OGYN was pleasant, friendly and prompt. Staff is always friendly and apologizes for any inconveniences or changes made to accommodate my visit. My Doctor Basco is always so polite and always ensures my visit is comfortable. I just feel like a member of the family with a team of professional medical employees looking out for my health needs. I appreciate everyone of them.

The front staff was absolutely rude, and my wife felt like she was discriminated against over her insurance. Like many others, she had numerous visits of being rejected. Her first visit she was late 10 min because we got lost. Filled out paper work and waited almost an hour for them to tell her she could not be seen because we were late. The second visit was over insurance, they said there was a billing error but when trying to explain to them that it was paid over a week ago and that Optima must not have updated the account. They refused to call to confirm with them, and when she asked to use the phone so that she could clarify the issue they refused her as well also failing to let her know there was a public phone down stairs. Mind you, we had no cell phone. That particular appointment was also an emergency visit, needless to say she left crying and felt like the staff didn’t care about her health and that she was beneath them. The doctor was great but the business is run terribly.

I just recently started going here & I love it. Lindsay is just so kind & compassionate. OBGYN appointments can feel awkward but she really tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Im glad I found her. She is the best! Would definitely recommend her is your looking for a OBGYN doctor! 🙂

I usually dread going to any kind of doctor because I never really feel like they try to genuinely understand who I am and what I’m going through and I end up leaving disappointed or upset.But not with this place!!!I just moved here from MS and today was my first visit and it was such a great experience, from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The staff was great and Dr. Basco was so kind and genuine and actually made me feel like he cares and he’s here for me. Every other experience I’ve had with doctors, you wait around a while just to see the doctor for five minutes. Dr. Basco takes the time to sit with you and allows you to feel heard and understood and makes the experience worth it.Also his nurse was the best!!! Very kind and sweet and helpful and that makes all the difference.10 out of 10 experience.I don’t usually write reviews but I’m writing this one because I found this place because it had great reviews.So here’s another great review!!

My NP was Ms. Rachel McAdams. She was so kind and talked me through everything, she really cares about solving the problem, not just seeing another patient on their chart. The nurse who called me the day before to fill out my information was also very sweet over the phone. I felt I was cared for and treated with kindness and respect. Definitely happy I chose this place!

I saw the nurse practitioner because my doctor was out of the office and it was a great experience. She took the time to answer all questions with satisfactory. She gave some great suggestions and explain some things I had forgot from a preview surgery years ago. She had an caring attitude and I didnt feel like a number for the day on a schedule. I thank her for the experience.

Dr Deyerle is fantastic. Very personable, knowledgeable and makes the situation comfortable. I am four months postpartum from delivering with a different practice that botched my repair of a tear from delivery. The previous practice offered nothing to try and heal the wound, but through two different appointments so far, Dr. Deyerle has offered several different solutions and is helping the situation.

Dr. Jafri, his nurse, & front staff all made a great first impression on me. The wait time was reasonable. Dr. Jafri listened to my concerns & didnt seem rushed. He gave me treatment options & valued my opinion in my own care. I left my appointment in happy tears because a medical professional is familiar with my condition (interstitial cystitis) & is helping me.

I absolutely love this office!! I am very strong on having a great experience, respect, having a doctor here you out and they do. They really are the definition of true care that everyone needs. From the front desk, to the lab, right up to the doctor. My Dr is Dr. Basco and when I say he is the best. He is the best!! I would recommend to anyone.

I wish there was a two part to the stars in this review. The office staff needs training. I’m told they’re fantastic and that they’re sorry the ball seems to always be dropped on me. Whether that’s the truth, I’m unsure.HOWEVER, Dr. O. Jafri is the absolute best doctor and human being I’ve ever met. He not only cares for your gyno issues he genuinely cares for YOU as a person. He has performed 3 surgery’s on me. All successful and beautifully done. I truly can’t say enough about this man and the Doctor he is.With my hormones being so out of wack and being so sensitive to even the smallest of things, he talks to me to ensure I’m okay with what HE is doing/going to do. He ensures the patient relationship is strong in every aspect. He’s gentle and caring. I’ve heard horror stories of male doctors not understanding & making women feel unheard. I can absolutely say that is not an issue with him. He listens, gives advise and ultimately makes YOU in charge of your care. Never demeaning or rude. Bedside manner; impeccable. Truly just an amazing doctor.If you’re still with me, his nurse Kelly. I can’t say enough about her either. She goes out of her way all day every day for her patients and doesn’t even bat an eye. Never makes you feel like an inconvenience or a burden. She’s calming, understanding and works her butt off to ensure the best possible care.Can’t say enough about this duo and how much I think the world of them!

The staff has always been friendly and try to get you in in a timely manner. I saw Karen Brophy today and she was very quick, friendly, and knowledgeable about my issue. She answered my questions and made sure I was comfortable, as did her nurse. 😀

Dr Jafri is great. He takes his time to talk to you about any issues you are having, or not having. Hes in no rush to throw you out the door like many doctors do these days. I appreciate that so much. I highly recommend him. I have never been comfortable with male GYN doctors but he makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. His nurses are very friendly and helpful as well. I really love this medical group.

AMAZING! The nurse and doctor were so nice and made me feel comfortable. The first room the chair was too small for my longer legs so they were nice enough to clean off another room so I would be more comfortable. I will definitely be going here for all my check ups going forward!

LOVE coming here. Everyone is so friendly. Dr. Basco has been one of the best I’ve seen. Answered all my questions in great detail prior to my husband and I beginning to try for our first baby. He first gave me a complete rundown of his life and how he got to this practice and what this practice does best which made me feel really comfortable.A couple months later here we are I’m expecting our first baby! I’ve seen the nurse practitioner Rachel a number of times for my prenatal visit and she is an absolute gem. So very friendly and told me to make lists of questions for next time because pregnancy brain! She has been thorough and answered every single one. The ultrasound tech was so sweet and gentle.And most of all, even tho I know she’s contracted in, the phlebotomist Deb is literally the best I’ve ever experienced. So friendly, took special care of me specifically when I didn’t look well during my 3hr glucose. I just want to hug her and be best friends.Anyway. All of this to say, we’re moving out of state at 5 months pregnant and I could not be more emotional about having to find a new practice who will treat me as well as this one. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I had today. No one treated me like I was an actual person. The only person who was kind to me at all was the ultrasound tech. She was amazing. But literally the front desk. The nurse, the nurse practitioner Karen. SO RUDE. Karen came into my room and saw me crying and Did not care to ask if I was ok or anything just sat down and started spitting Information. She was only with me for maybe 5 minutes and yet this was the worst experience Ive ever had with a medical professional. I WiLL NOT be comming back to this office. This is not the first time Ive had an issue with these same staff. UNACCEPTABLE THE WAY THEY TREAT PEOPLE

Dr. Basco and Katie are sooo pleasant AND professional! Ive always have a good experience when I come to this office. Debra, the Lab Corp tech is very good and personable. I didnt even feel a pinch. Great visit!!!

Dr. Basco is the most patient, attentive doctor I have ever seen. All the doctors at Hampton Obgyn and Associates are wonderful but he is always my preferred doctor. I never leave my appointment feeling pressured, ill informed or anything else other than hopeful and well cared for. I have seen him for all four of my pregnancies and all my gynecological needs. He has referred me to other doctors outside of his speciality when other issues have come up in my appointments. I’m very thankful for feeling comfortable at such a vulnerable time. All the ladies at the front desk are the same friendly faces I’ve seen for the past 11/12 years. Thank you Doctor Basco & his new nurse (Katie?) and everyone at this office!

I truly wish I could give this place a negative or no star review but I can’t; however I can say this was one of the worst doctor’s visits that I have ever had. I am woman of a particular age ( as the doctor repeatedly stated) this is a long time. I should’ve turn around as soon aS I received the reception from the front desk. There was no warm customer service voice or any thing to ease my trouble mind; just the harsh back talk of me being late and they didn’t know if I could be seen. However, there was no mention that I was on hold for 10 minutes trying to find the office. Next, I had to refill out paper work that I had already done about a week ago; but things happens. Next, was the doctor; all I can say is that I can google too and come up with the same results. I realized that some doctors don’t have all the answers about what is going on with your health but act like you care at least a little bit. I know I really don’t matter to you but I do matter to others. I wish some doctors see people more than just an insurance payment. I am a human being and deserve to be treated like one even though I am a woman of a particular age and size. ( at least that’s what the doctor stated)This my opinion.. I truly wish i would have had a better outcome.. but I will take the doctors advice and go back to my regular doctor…

Mrs. Kathleen is more than a specialist, she is like a counselor and a mother. She communicated with me about my health as well as provided me with some insight on where to get therapy from for some past issues that I encountered when I was a child. She is very caring, nurturing, patient, and informative. When I first met her years ago, I thought that from the looks of her, she would be mean. I was wrong, super wrong. You cannot judge a book by its cover. I truly love her and she does not know how she has definitely helped me with moving forward with something that had nothing to do with my physical health or medical needs. Whenever I call her, she always returns my call. I love the staff that is there as well. They all are awesome people. No complaints.

I absolutely love everything about this office! The staff are ahhhhmazing!! Dr. Basco has the best beside manners of any doctor I’ve ever met. He’s very compassionate and talks with you about anything you want to know. He’s not just a fabulous doctor, he’s a friend to me and I trust him tremendously!!! I highly recommend this office

My first visit was on time!! Wow! The staff is amazing. The nurse that checked me in was warm, kind, and attentive. My doctor was the sweetest and she took the time to make sure I was informed. Thank you for making me feel at ease.

The nurse practitioner, Karen L. Brophy has the worst bedside manners I have ever experienced. She was very rude and kept interrupting me when I explaining the complications I was having. She kept saying “you are not listening to me”, while I was the one explaining my condition. I will NEVER EVER see her. I scored this as 2 stars only because I have made another appointment with a different doctor, and hoping I have a better experience.

I met with Rachel Mcadams and she was amazing! This was my first time coming to this practice and I felt so comfortable. She answered all of my questions and I never felt like she was rushing me. The entire staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable.

My experience here was terrible and very time comsuming . First, of all I had to wait close to 2 months before I was able to get my my appt set on top of kept having to change the dates due to your company moving locations. Without my knowledge my appointment was set at a location i didnt agree too and with all this confusion. I was told I could go to the Newpory News location since I had arrived at the Hamptom location instead and I would be able to still be seen. All of that happened the day of my appointment, the communication I recieved was terrible between the two and then I offered to have a appointment rescheduling but that wouldnt be until April. Im very disappointed and disturbed with the customer service I recieved for the little amount of time I was in your buildings.

The nurse was very kind and was substituting from another doctor. Dr. Basco has the best bed side manner. He is kind and truly interested in the well being of the patient. I am blessed to have him as my GYN doctor.

First time I visited this office and I was very happy to have gone. Plus the Dr. Who saw me was very nice, polite, helpful, and thorough. Thank you Dr. JAFRI

Mrs. Gloria is the best!! I had to get blood work done at my appointment and she talked to me the entire time!! She let me know what she was doing and when she was doing it (she even remembered I dont like needles). Always a pleasant experience here.

Been seeing Dr. O. Jafri for about 8 or 9 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Hes a doctor that takes the time to talk to you about better health care and listens to your concerns. Hes very professional and has a good, humorous bedside manner. Im pleased with him as my Gyn. Im keeping him! Lol

I love this office. I have seen every doctor now I believe and all of them have been so kind as Im a FTM and often nervous. They truly listen and want to help you understand and ensure youre comfortable. Recommend to everyone! This is the BEST office ever!

Dr Naved Jafri has been my doctor for many years and though going thru a yearly check up is no picnic, he makes it comfortable and quick. He is always concerned about any heath issues I may have and keeps me up on the latest areas surrounding womens health. I am very pleased with his professionalism and kindness as well as all those who work in this office who are such very friendly and helpful employees. This office has delivered all three of my children and now are a part of my health as I am now a Grandma of 6 and I can say he even sees my daughters and many of my friends. This organization is nothing short of amazing!!!

Dr. Basco is the absolute Best OB/GYN-He is very detailed and you can sense that he cares about his patients. Prior to my pre-op appointment, we talked about what to expect, other options, before and after care-I have sensed from Day 1 that Dr. Basco genuinely cares about his patients and I was not just another patient there to have surgery-I appreciate that so much!!!!!!!! the team that prepped me prior to my surgery was nothing short of amazing as well!!!!! Dr. Basco-Thanks So Much for Caring!!!!!!

Always a great experience when I come. My NP was Karen Brophy I love her and the nurseGloria I believe. Great practice been with them well before I had my last son 4 years ago.

I absolutely love Karen!! She is the absolute best!! Had to have bloodwork and the lab lady was great! I hate bloodwork but I never even felt the needle!! Always a great experience there. The entire staff is great!! Love them all!

Always kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Basco and his nurse never make me feel rushed or unheard. We make decisions about my health and treatments together instead of me being pushed into anything, and that above all is what matters most to me.

The staff is always super friendly and Dr Basco is great. He’s easy to talk to and makes sure to address any concerns you have. I wouldn’t want to trust my care to anyone else.

Dr. Basco is the best! Great bedside manner, personality and care coordination. He makes you feel totally comfortable and not awkward while checking out your lady parts. Highly recommend him.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago to get specifically a check up but there was another issue that I asked if they could look into. I drove an hour and a half to the appointment just to be told I was being seen for the issue instead. I asked if they even did that kind of issue and she said no! They said Id have to make another appointment for the checkup when they said nothing about that on the phone. Im never coming back. And they wonder why I have such issues with doctors.

This was my second visit to this practice...My first experience was not so great ..Dr.Basco was not the problem ..it was his nurse ..Did not feel welcomed at all by her,so I didn’t know what to expect this go round..Well I was very impressed with his NEW nurse Katie ...Loved her, she was a breathe of fresh air. Thank you Katie you made my day....

Never had a bad experience with any staff member. All the doctors here are professional and friendly. Had a great experience from beginning to end with my first pregnancy.

Love the doctors, nurses, and ultrasound techs here!! They are so kind and make you feel so comfortable. Having my second baby with them and they still remember me from my previous pregnancy and ask about my little girl!

My name is Jordan Bell I’ve been going to this doctors office for over ten years and have recently decided to find a new OBGYN. The staff is so insensitive and can care less about the patients. I actually love my doctor (Basco) which is why I stuck around so long plus the staff was a lot better back then. But unfortunately you gotta go through the staff to see the doctor and they SUCK now.

I came here for my first ever visit to the OBGYN and it was amazing! I was so nervous to come in, but everyone who I spoke with was kind and easy to talk to. They answered all of my questions and explained things clearly. I was in and out in less than an hour.

Where to start... I have been going to this practice for the last 6 years. I had an AWFUL experience at a previous practice and was a little scared to return to another female doctor. I had a good friend recommend that I go to this practice to see Karen Brophy. I thought Ok let me give it one more try. Karen made me feel so comfortable and answered all questions that I had. Then through time I had change of insurances and I couldnt see a Nurse Practitioner for insurance purposes. I was sad... But Dr. Godbout just joined the practice and I thought Id give her a try!Ive always had great appointments with Dr. Godbout! When my husband and I decided wed like to have a child I had an appointment with Dr. Godbout and told her our decision. She was excited and told me that she hoped to see me soon with good news! A couple months later when I went in because I was pregnant she came in the room and was so excited for me! through my pregnancy I got to visit all the doctors and I adored them all! Dr. Basco was FANTASTIC when I came in with signs of preeclampsia! He explained everything to me because I was totally lost. I was ok! But Im so glad that he worked quickly to figure out what was going on!What implored me to write this review is that I had double booked myself with my appointment and a lunch with my husbands Commanding Officer.... I had an hour from the time of my appointment and lunch. and I had to make it to Norfolk. I asked the ladies at the front if it was possible to get me out in 30 minutes or would I need to reschedule.... They went to work! They got me out in 30 MINUTES!!!I love everyone at this practice! I feel like they treat me like an extended member of their family! Has there been times when there have been mistakes with my insurance and things... yeah possibly... but they are human beings! At the end of the day the front desk ladies and the ladies doing the admin work behind the scenes have always been quick to help me with any mistakes that may have happen. AND the mistakes have been VERY little!LOVE YOU OB GYN ASSOCIATES OF HAMPTON!

I see Dr. Godbout and both she and her nurse, Lauren, are wonderful. I am one of those people who, if there is a .001% chance of a complex complication from a procedure or a medicine, that will be me. These two work seamlessly together with a wonderful sense of humor as well.I do not have - not do I plan to have - any children. I have never been made to feel less by this practice and every concern that I have has been addressed and followed up with diligence and care.I understand that everyone does have a bad day, but I have never had the bad service that I have seen complained of here and I have been coming to this practice for more than two years now; and being that I am a patient with PCOS, I am in more frequently than my annual exams. All members of this practice with whom I have interacted have shown nothing but care for me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Godbout and my experience was great. Dr. Godbout took her time , listened, and explained. I did not feel rushed, and that is something I cant say about every office. Highly recommend!

I am really super surprised to see the negative reviews here. Ive been a patient here for 4 years now and have seen every doctor and all of them have been great so far! Dr. Godbout is my regular dr and she is so awesome. Dr. Wolner delivered my baby and I couldnt have wished for a better experience.

The ultrasound tech and lab staff are always amazing! Dr. Basco got my baby here safely and that’s all I could ever ask for. Love this place and everyone is so wonderful.

The nurse and the NP seems unhappy. Did not feel her. Will look for another doctor in that practice or another clinic. The NP did ask me if I had any questions. The only good thing about the visit. Felt very unwelcome. I miss Dr. Wolner

Wonderful dr but front desk are rude and try to ignore you. I signed in on tablet at 8:45 for my 9am appointment. Front desk still did not acknowledge me or give me my paoerwork at 9:05. Theres four people at desk carrying on conversation amount themselves completely ignoring me and Im only one in lobby. Think Ill be contacting the manager.

Would rate less than 1 star if able. Waited 4 weeks for appt to be turned away because I had computer issues and couldnt do form online. I told them I was still in pain/discomfort for the past 4 weeks and they just told me to reschedule even after knowing how long Ive waited.. thats not patient first mentality. I will not be back.

I was seen here 1 time, and was told that my pap smear came back abnormal and they set me another appointment date to have a copo, I received a phone call about a week before the appointment saying that my insurance wasnt going through so I couldnt be seen, and that the doctor stated that my situation didnt seem that serious, and I would receive a call with another appointment in 6 MONTHS which should be more then enough time to get my insurance issues taken care of. Well turns out my problem that didnt seem so serious to the doctor was cervical cancer!!! And on top of that they sent me a certified letter in the mail terminating me as a patient for non compliance because I didnt make a doctors appointment! Would never recommend them for ANY REASON!!!

Dr Basco is simply exceptional.He is kind, professional and knowledgeable.He takes the time needed to explain things clearly and to help come up with a plan for your personal situation.

I had an appointment with Obaid H Jafri M.D. atOBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY ASSOCIATES OF HAMPTON. I was impressed and appreciative for the attentive care I received. Dr. Jafri was very compassionate as he explained my medical diagnosis and clearly laid out my treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Jafri for quality health care!

Great professional attentiveness. Very personable, listens well and provides preventive care for total body. Office was very busy the day after holiday so long wait time this particular visit otherwise would be a 5

I was greeted by a very friendly staff. I was given clear instruction all along the visit. Dr. Jafri gave eye contact while speaking to me. And he gave me very detailed information concerning my visit and the visit come.

I saw Dr. Godbout today. Shes so nice and very accomodating and asked me several times if I have some more concerns. Thats what I like in a doctor. Shes not one that is always in a hurry, rather, she took time to get to know me. I used to be Kathy Akridges patient but she wasnt available last December when I made the appt. so I was given to Dr. Godbout. By the way, Im sad to find out, todays Kathys last day. Anyways, Happy Birthday and Happy Retirement, Kathy!! To Dr. Godbout, Im glad youre my doctor now.

Ob/Gyn Assoc of Hampton has the best doctors , nurses, and staff. They are always friendly and professional, showing you that they really listen and care about each patient.

Got charged $300 to my account for... nothing... rented a car because my boyfriends car was getting worked on.. for nothing... drove 3 hours... for nothing. Got there paid a $50 copay just for the doctor to tell me my ER results lol... I KNEW THIS ALREADY THANKS? Then asked me do I have a doctor there... sir... I thought I picked you to be my doc.. nvm. He told me to go to the front and schedule a prenatal appointment... I thought this was a... ok. Went to the front... whoever the girl is... idk.. she acted like she didn’t understand what we were saying. I said “ He told me come up here and make an appointment “ .. “ for what?” ... “... I need an appointment with a regular doctor “ ...” they’re all doctors” .. I felt like she was insulting me lol. So my boyfriend said “he said make another appointment to see an OB” she says “but he doesn’t have that written down so just call to make an appointment “... me and him looked at each other and just told her okay because... what. He took off of work that day to drive all the way there for... nothing. We get halfway back to northern va and I get a call. It’s a nurse calling to schedule a confirmation appointment then she goes “oh.. you were here today”. I wanted to hang up but she was very nice unlike the front desk lady. I made an appointment but I’m 99% sure I’m calling later to cancel. No thanks lol

I have been going to this Obgyn for a while I have had 2 kids with this practice and this will be my 3rd one and Im extremely disappointed and irritated with this practice my last pregnancy was 2010 and now this time around they want me to do all of this stuff like Makena injections and all these unscheduled ultrasounds that is not covered under my insurance and If I decline these things I will be terminated from the practice which I believe is ridiculous so I would not recommend this practice to anyone. If I could go to another facility right now I would. I am really not happy with this practice and would not recommend to anyone.

Efficiency..clean.Caring..The staff is great. DrJaffee takes his time. Answers all questions. When u find a good Dr and a happy and efficient staff you know you have a winner . Its a ten!

I love the environment but the lady with the blonde hair in a ponytail all the time up front is very rude like u can be ready to check in and all she do is not say a word nor look at you so it’s like we got to wait for the other lady to say I can “take you over here” . Then the wait is long to get to the back room your appointment can be at 11:30 and u don’t get to the back until 12:30 like a whole hour just to be seen but the ppl that just walk in when you waited 30mins to be seen only be in the lobby for 10mins smh I be so heated.

Dr Navidad Jaffri is my GYN doctor. He is extremely nice and listens to all my concerns carefully. He makes it really easy to understand what and how to deal with my concerns. I highly recommend him.

Incompetent. They were made aware of changes in my healthcare provider before even making an appointment. 30 mins past my scheduled appt. time I was told my insurance wasnt accepted. After making a call it turns out my insurance IS accepted. I called to clear things up, they apologized & told me I could come back in later that afternoon. As I was walking in the door I was called & told that the doctor was triple booked & I would need to reschedule yet again. Unfortunately it would be a week out! My friend referred me elsewhere and I had an appt. within a few days. Not worth your time.

A very professional, knowledgeable and caring group of doctors and nurses. They have taken excellent care of me for over 15 years: through pregnancy, delivery, and mid-life health needs.

Dr. Jafri and his nurse, Jenny, care so much and take time with every visit to give the best care and attention. Dr. Jafri is brilliant at what he does and it’s clear he loves his patients!

Terrible service from everyone but one amazingly helpful front desk worker, Tiffany. I will not reveal all details of my appointment(s), but lets just say that the staff were not very helpful in my journey. I would not recommend based on my experience but perhaps this place is a match for someone else.

I came here after a cancer scare with my primary care physician, that led to a biopsy. This has been a roller coaster that I prefer to get off of and Doctor Baaco here has been more than accommodating.

This place is horrible. Almost everyone there is rude and has no customer service skills. From the very beginning they were unprofessional and were unsure of why I even booked an appointment with them when I explained over the phone weeks prior!! One lady named Cindy was extremely unfriendly and showed no true concern for my reasoning there. I will never visit this place again. I highly wouldnt recommend it to anyone!!!
