WARNING THIS GETS GRAPHIC SO BE ADVISED:I have never had such a terrible experience in my whole life.The first red flag is how she had one girl being the receptionist and nurse at the same time. No one was there to greet a patient .. everything was rushed.She began our session by saying I should not be here. I would list a concern and she would say things like “you’re too young to be worried about that”. Basically dismissive of my concerns because of my age. (I was 24 at the time).When it came time to do the exam she didn’t even tell me what she was doing she just stuck the probe literally inside me and I immediately tensed up. Had she just given me some warning I would have not been so tense. In her own report she mentions this. I then asked if I could do it myself and she refused (others in the past Have allowed me too). It was uncomfortable and extremely rushed.I know that I have pcos - she saw the cysts. She would just point them out. At the end she gave me no tips on health, diet, other than she wanted me to go on birth control. I had questions on what I should take for my extremely painful periods but she refused.She said “well there is nothing else I can do for you and that I have other patients”I was respectful throughout the whole process and was in shock. I went out the building and cried because I felt violated and let down. As a brown woman to another brown woman - I at least thought she would be empathetic… I don’t know how she gets all these good reviews. I too was fooled and believed them .. but my treatment had scarred me. Especially with how rough she inserted the probe.I went to an endocrinologist and not only did he provide health related advice and treatment - he was patient and answered all of my questions.I also asked to get pictures of my scans emailed to me and her office refused, they said I had to come in person. Even though they’re on her portal but somehow it didn’t allow me to download them.

Dr.Kothari delivered my babies…I’ve never met a more patient, loving doctor! She dedicates herself to her patients and ensures she delivers all of her babies. She will stay in the hospital with you all day and ensure you are well and have an excellent delivery. She listens to all of your concerns and involves your wants In her plan of care. And with all of her dedications to her patients she travels to India to help people in need. She is just an amazing Dr inside and out!

Dr. Kothari is excellent! She took good care of my wife and delivered our 3rd kid healthy. She is very patient and reliable. She even work on off office hours to check your lab result and make sure you take the right medications. We are glad to found her!!

I recently visited the OB/GYN for my annual checkup, and while I appreciated the doctors skill and professionalism during the appointment, I encountered some unexpected issues afterward. Prior to my visit, I took the necessary steps to confirm coverage with both the front desk staff and my insurance company, and all indications pointed to full coverage under my insurance plan.However, to my surprise, I received a bill for the appointment despite assurances that it would be covered. As someone who works in the healthcare field myself, I was puzzled by the lack of pre-authorization for the services rendered. Its concerning that despite my proactive efforts to confirm coverage, there was still a discrepancy between what was promised and what I was billed.I want to caution others to be vigilant about their insurance coverage and to clarify all financial aspects of their appointments beforehand. While the quality of care provided by the doctor was commendable, the unexpected billing issue underscores the importance of advocating for oneself and being aware of potential out-of-pocket expenses.In summary, while my experience with the OB/GYN in terms of medical care was positive, the billing process left much to be desired. It serves as a reminder for patients to inquire about insurance coverage and potential costs upfront to avoid any surprises later on.

The best doctor I have ever met so far. Dr. Kothari listens patiently and suggests what’s best. She took care of me through out my high risk pregnancy and I have no words to explain how experienced and great she is with everything. Great facility and staff.Highly recommend.

I have never seen any doctor as humble and calm as Dr. Kothari. Dr. Kothari would listen to all my issues and queries without interrupting. She is very knowledgeable and knows precisely what she is doing. Not only the doctor but the staff is amiable. During my third trimester, Dr. Kothari and her team were available 24/7 - they never left me unanswered and made me feel very comfortable whenever I talked to them. I feel blessed that I crossed paths with Dr. Kothari. I would highly recommend Dr. Kothari.

Dr Anu Kothari has been my doctor for over 20yrs. I first met her when I had an emergency c section. She happened to be the doctor on call that night and thank God she was. I had my delivery last year with dr kothari. I had best experience with dr. Kothari. And with her staff. They are very professional and coprative too.

She delivered all my three babies in a period of 11 years. I’m her follower since her time at Rego Park to her most current at Hicksville. She’s extremely attentive to your health and always gives great suggestions for improvement. Her charming simplicity and traditional philosophy makes her valuable and unique. Love her!! She is definitely a keeper.

Dr. Anu Kothari has been my OB since 2014 when I started to have regular check ups and until now with two babies(about to give birth on second one this Feb 2017)... Shes a kind hearted Dr. that has emphaty and compassion. I highly and out most recommend her, Shes pretty cool as well. I am keeping her as my OB until she decides to retire! If theres 5 millions star rating, I would give it to her!

This place is so unprofessional. Starting with the staff of front desk and the doctor.My insurance asks that certain lab work be submitted for auth. When explaining that to the doctor she was arrogant stating that my insurance was wrong and in all her years of practice she’s never had to call aim speciality health. She refused to call aim speciality health until I showed up to the office with my insurance company on the phone. After back and fourth with my insurance she asked her staff to call. When her staff called they hung up the call and stated there was no option for labs auth. I called the number my insurance provided and was able to be connected.This left a sour taste in my mouth and I did not feel comfortable returning due to the attitude of the staff and doctor.When asking the staff to fax my medical records on 6-17-22 they told me they would do it on Monday 6/20/22. When following up to see if they were able to fax over my medical records the person who answered told me I’d have to wait five to seven business days for them to fax it over. I personally work at a medical office and it has NEVER taken me this long to compose medical records. She was rude and hung up the call. This is upsetting because as a patient who is five months pregnant I can’t keep pushing back my appointments. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this office. It’s not worth the hassle and the stress.Por favor no vengan a esta oficina. Ellos son muy groseros y la actitud de ellas dejan mucho por desear. The doctor is amazing, she listens to the patient and very caring, you can also get appointments right away, the staff especially the young girl she is so sweet and welcomes you in the office I have recommend going there

Dr.Anu is by far the best gynaecologist that I know. She is very kind hearted and cool headed. Her attitude helped me keep calm through my entire pregnancy. She was constantly available for us through childbirth, giving me all the attention and support I needed. She is easy to approach and always willing to help. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wishes to have a compassionate and extremely competent OBGYN.

The doctor conveniently goes away on vacation every time I have a doctor appointment for a check up. I rely on my birth control and I have to wait for this doctor to come back from her excursion to get my prescription. It is medically important that a patient receives their prescriptions, and I was told they will not refill it for me unless she is there. So now I have to wait 2 weeks for the (only) doctor to come back, the lady at the front desk told me she cant even contact the doctor. I wonder what would happen if a patient needed her for an emergency? Very inconvenient and poor service. I am left now without my birth control for a month, I dont know how they are still running as a business if the doctor is never around and nobody else can make executive decisions or give a patient their medicine.... Not coming back. Also, their rooms were not clean, and poor hygiene. This place makes me very uncomfortable. Ladies at the front desk have poor attitudes, everything about this place is a cry for help.

Very unprofessional. Out-dated equipment. Pushes unnecessarily hard on your abdomen while doing a sonogram. Cant tell the sex of your baby due to poor sonogram imaging. Only concerned about being the doctor to deliver your baby and having a next appointment. Overrall bad experience. I will NEVER go back.

Very unprofessional .. Had a appointment at 12:30 got there the receptionist said, the doctor just left out come back in a hour . Came back the doctor was still not back , waited for another hour and a half doctor was a no show. I guess my health was not important enough to keep a patient waiting for so long never been to a doctor office like this so careless !!
