The best decision my husband and I made was moving our embryos OUT of this lab. The people who work here absolutely do not care about you, your eggs, or your embryos. They treat storing your most precious possessions as if they were simply storing an article of clothing.Good luck getting anyone on the phone to speak with—if you do, they will not be able to answer simple questions. I’ve had more unreturned emails from this lab than any fertility practice I’ve worked with. They know they have a monopoly on storage in the Chicago area, so they really don’t need to be caring or polite. When trying to work with the employees at aParent, I’ve never felt less like a person. I know they truly did not care about me, my eggs, or my embryos. I was just a number on a file to them.
