Worst experience ever!!!! Horrible bedside manner esp after I had already paid for an abortion and then it was extremely painful and regret my decision to terminate. Dont do it! If there is a next time I will def consider other options like adoption!

I went to Planned Parenthood today for an annual visit. The nursing provider Jill M was far from professional. It started when she yelled at my fiancé for wanting to be in the room with me for my visit. (I asked him to come with because I did not feel like I’d be heard.) I was in the room by myself while she dismissed my concerns about my body. It wasn’t until I said my period was late that she ran out of the room while I was mid sentence to get me a pregnancy test. Without even asking if there was any chance of pregnancy. She also laughed and rolled her eyes when I said I didn’t want an std test. It wasn’t until the last question that she actually acknowledged my concerns and pushed them off as just “pms symptoms”. I’m very disappointed in the services provided. Usually the staff are so nice and caring, but Jill was far from.

Had to get a wellness checkup and was able to get an appointment for the next day. My nurse practitioner was Margo, and she was amazing, hands down the best bed side manor. Every time I’ve had a pap they’ve been painful and she didn’t cause me any discomfort. If the idea of a Pap smear gives you anxiety like it does me go to Margo.

I’ve been here twice. Once in 2017 and this time in 2023. Both times I couldn’t find a phone number so I booked online and it was really easy. And everyone Ive interacted with here, the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, the imaging people, the people who draw blood, they’ve all been incredibly professional, helpful and sensitive to my situation. I really appreciate how they always take the time to explain everything to me clearly and are so patient responding to all of my questions and concerns. I’m beyond grateful for the staff at this location and for the planned parenthood organization as a whole for everything they do. Thank you guys!

The service is horrible. My appt was at 2:20pm, the receptionist wasnt even at her desk until 2:45pm and no one else knows how to check people in. Everyone is unsure of the pricing, they made it seem like they were super busy, but there were only 3 customers for about 2hrs. Two stars because this a clinic for everyone, not just women.

Took the day off to get an IUD. Scheduled it 3 weeks in advanced. Arrived to my appointment and the doctor refused to see me because they failed to request from me or notify me before even coming in that an ultrasound was necessary beforehand. Lost money and time because of their incompetence.

I made an appt online which is super easy and Im surprised all of these other users havent tried that yet considering its the 21st century and calling to make an appointment is soooo last century. Even so, I called to ask what I should bring to the appointment and a very helpful woman answered right away and was able to clear up any questions I had. Anyway when I got there the staff was very helpful. Even though I just got insurance and didnt have any numbers or paperwork they found me in the system and didnt ask that I pay anything or even give them a credit card. The nurse I saw was super cool and nice. The doctor was great too! Everyone was informative and easy to work with. I was wondering why they had 2 stars and I guess not everyone has a good experience here but my experience was completely awesome so I hope everyone who is considering going here gives it a chance and books their appt online. You can also walk-in if you need to. Just go earlier bc they close at 3. Planned Parenthood needs more funding, this is obvious. But I think so many people are feeling entitled which makes them overreact when they dont get what they want exactly how they want it. Lets have some compassion for the people that are standing up for womens reproductive rights. Also they do HIV testing for free and it only takes 20 minutes. I hope this review is helpful.

I have a pretty good feeling that these other reviews are fake and probably made by the very people who work there. I have never met anyone so rude until that is I met the Dr they treated me like a dollar sign. The Dr stood in front of the door hovering over me telling me that I had to pay up for the visit even tho they werent going to treat me and were just putting me into the system. He then went on to tell me to get out. As I was walking out the front desk lady stops me and goes to the back and asks the Dr if I need to pay for anything and I hear him say no its a waist of time let her go as if Im not even there.

Came in 10 minutes before closing to ask a quick question, Patty the receptionist could not be bothered, she was very rude and unprofessional. I didnt need to see a doctor just had a question and she acted like I insulted her by coming in 10 minutes before closing to ask it. I hope her life improves as she does not seem to be a happy person at all. Dont bother coming here, the mainland office was a 1000 times friendlier

My girlfriend booked an appointment 10 days out. While on the phone she was requested to sign up for medicade. When we arrived Patty told us she would not take us since my girlfriend had aquired United health insurance (affiliate of medicade, per the request of the first person we spoke to) Patty was very rude and not empathetic to our siutation at all. We feel like we were lied to and taken advantage of. Obviously we wouldnt be here if it were not serious.

Calling them is nearly impossible. I’ve been calling for 5 days and I’ve been on hold for an hour each time. I’ve been calling around opening hours and they have it on closed hours so it’s now 815am and they still have not turned off they’re automatic closing line. This place use to be on point but they have gotten horrible with customer service lately.

Went in for STD testing after being cheated on. Everything was explained so well to me. The shadowing assistant did my blood draw and did AMAZING! I felt comfortable and safe here. Not humiliated and like just another paycheck.

THE PHONES ARENT GOOD. Their caller service is state-wide and the Honolulu location has late hours, so after 5pm the phone stops working. They should fix this, but you may just have to go to the office to get any answers. If youre unemployed and uninsured, your visits are FREE and theyve got no shortage of helpful advice, pamphlets, medications you can receive for free as well, and very kind personnel. Be aware that the office recently switched over to digital records, so theyre still learning the new system. Health care is complicated enough already! And make sure you walk out the door with YOUR prescription and it has a DOCTORS SIGNATURE on it. I had to go back twice because they kept forgetting minor details. Parking is available at the foot of the building for $1.00/30 minutes or $3.00 max. There is more parking around the backside of the building that is reserved until 5pm, so late appointments can park there at no charge.

Extremely nice and informative staff. I had no insurance, but have terrible periods and had been bleeding for month straight. I needed some type of help and medicine to regulate what was going on. Not only did they see me within an hour as a walk in with no insurance, they completely covered my visit and are helping me get back to normal. Thank you so so much for your help!

Great place! Went in to get my HPV shots and I felt like they were very patient and accommodating. They took the time to answer all my questions and even though I went in with my father they gave me time to talk to the doctor privately. Wonderful place, 5 stars.

I went ONLY to do my pap. They took my weight, pressure, blood, urine, offered additional tests for HIV and STDs, did a thorough interview of my medical history, my life, my family, my mental health, did my pap, breasts examination, gave me lifestyle suggestions, gave me rapid hiv results and charged nothing. And were extremely nice.

I agree with everyone else with them not answering there phones. I rang right on the dot on when they open, and a voicemail comes on. Are you serious? I left a voicemail and no one called back. I tried about four times and left messages, and no one calls back. My fifth try I finally got a hold of someone and apparently they knew my name already. There phone systems are really not the business. They really need to do something about it. I jus dislike there phone systems.

Long wait but worth it for so many reasons. The ladies that work there are amazing. The NP that worked with me literally put in and took out the implanon, put in and took out two IUDs, and counseled me all the way through the past year trying to pick the right method for me. The Nurse who does the pre screenings is the sweetest. Everyone there is friendly, non-judgemental, and has a good sense of humor. I never feel shamed for anything in my history and I am always treated well. Planned Parenthood is an amazing community resource and I wish there was at least one other clinic on the island.

I have been calling this office for 3 days in a row trying to schedule an appointment, and THEY NEVER ANSWER. On top of that their mailbox is FULL from NOT ANSWERING anyones calls apparently. I want to make an appointment so I dont have to wait in line for hours in the office. Very unprofessional. Come on now PP get with it!!!!

Phones arent answered. Ive left my number 3 separate times for a callback and never received any. Absurd that I should have to go in person just to talk to someone about what services they offer.

Dont go on Wednesdays. Mean doctor..main number goes to Northwest and Hawaiian Islands. Make appointment at clinic..only Planned Parenthood on Oahu. 203 dollars to get birth control.

Everyone here is super nice, helpful and make you feel very comfortable. You can make an appointment online if they don’t answer their phones however they answered everytime I called.

Highly recommended!!! Say less!!! Nurses and doctors so attentive help u through the way till the end ..❤❤

I have been contacting them for days so they can send me some results and they tell me they will call me back and they dont. It could happen directly because I no longer live in Hawaii. Furthermore, the treatment I used didnt work for me but that may not be the clinics fault alone. My disagreement is that the phones are very saturated
