I visited this urologist for post-vasectomy pain and clearly explained the specific pain I was experiencing. The doctor quickly attributed the pain to a granuloma, but I informed him that this was not the source of my discomfort. Despite my concerns, he dismissed my input and failed to recognize the actual root cause—extensive scar tissue and adhesions causing significant pain.I later called back, offering the doctor another opportunity to conduct a more thorough assessment, but he declined, stating he was confident in his brief initial evaluation. Fortunately, I found a more patient and attentive doctor who believed in my concerns and addressed the issue, which was confirmed to be scar tissue adhesions after further surgery.I do not recommend this urologist. If youre seeking a doctor who will listen to your concerns and perform a comprehensive assessment, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Awesome team there. I highly recommend and I am a Scrooge . Friendly helpful attentive , and will put in the extra effort to help with labs and billing and other issues . Procedure is the most efficient one possible same day for everything’s. Dr.Williams is awesome no issues no problem I was nervous but the PAs and surgical team was awesome in and during the procedure .

I had an appointmentment, but they called a couple days before and wanted a deposit of $200. Nowhere on their website says anything about having to pay a deposit to hold my spot which to me is crazy for a doctor office to do without checking my insurance. Canceled my appointment and do NOT recommend this place. A deposit to hold my place to see a doctor is ridiculous.

Dr. Williams was amazing! As someone who tends to freak out about getting blood drawn, I was honestly pretty freaked out by the time the procedure rolled around. Dr. Williams was very thorough with what he did. Offered to re-explain everything if I’d liked. He carried the conversation very well and was very quick and efficient! The pain was extremely minimal. I’d say pain level was 0-1. I was so happy that it went so well and that it was nothing like how I thought. I definitely recommend anyone looking to get a vasectomy to pay Dr. Williams a visit!

They were very disappointing. I have been going to them for over a year and no results, and actually my numbers went down. They put me on all kinds of medication and even had an unsuccessful TURED surgery that helped nothing. I went to a new urologist and on the first day they said and did more than the Y factor. I don’t recommend them to anyone it’s a waste of time and money.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.Doctor Williams was amazing; he was personable, and helped to make my experience as stress free as possible.And the entire appointment was punctual: I was seen when I was scheduled to be seen, which is always a huge plus for doctor offices!I would absolutely recommend this location for mens health needs!

Not recommended. This place is only open to get your money for a doctors appointment then youre only allowed to see a nurse practitioner! Even after explaining that Ive been through a serious heart surgery, my cardiology suggested meeting with doctor Williams, however, the answer was no thats not our policy! What freaking policy that prevent the patient from seeing his service provider, when I asked to see doctor Williams, the answering service lady Danielle told me, Im not going to see him and if I basically dont like it to go find a different provider for service! This Y-Factor is a joke go to a professional urologist instead, plenty of good doctors around town, this place dont deserve my business.

I recently had an appointment here. Mr. Martinez was very thorough and gave helpful information regarding my issues. There were issues with the follow-up of receiving the medication that he prescribed me, that I dont believe was his fault, but made it really stressful trying to navigate. The services were good, but each time Ive been here Ive had these issues with administrativefollow-up, so this could be better.Update: The clinic did reach out after my experience and were very helpful in getting me the follow-up services and medication. I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Y Factor, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the level of care I received, particularly from Nurse Practitioner Ben Martinez.From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating an environment that immediately put me at ease. The staff at the front desk especially Zuleika was friendly and efficient, streamlining the check-in process.Ben Martinez, Nurse Practitioner, demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise throughout my visit. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my concerns, patiently answering all my questions and addressing any uncertainties I had. Bens compassionate and personable approach made me feel comfortable discussing sensitive health matters, fostering open communication.

I went through the Y Factor with Russel Williams for a vasectomy and honestly it is such an easy procedure. 10 minutes with just a little discomfort, I take a Tylenol when I got home for little bit of pain that I had then one the next night as well. Dr Williams talks with you the whole time and there is a TV above you. Makes the time go quite fast. 3-4 days of light activity and I felt pretty good. 7 days I was back in the saddle, if you get my meaning. Nothing changed for function or feeling.The labs were done, they can be done in a lot of locations which is really convienent for me. Unfortunatly I was once of the lucky less than one percent that still has swimmers. Not many but enough to be concerned so I went in for a second one which they call a double lock. Honestly this seemed even quicker and I had very little discomfort. Even having to do this twice I strongly reccomend this easy, safe and effective procedure.Just make sure you dont want any more babies and this is an excellent way to make sure of that, and allow for lots of fun later.

I came into get a vasectomy not knowing what to expect. The whole procedure took 15 minutes with little to no pain. Dr talked to me through the whole process to ease my mind from what was going on. Would highly recommend the Y Factor for your place to get your vasectomy.

So many things that need improvement at this place. First the administration: I’ve had to call to confirm my own appointments as I did not receive a call, no message via Healow, nor an email from them. I’m glad I did call since they didn’t even have me scheduled. I took the day off from work to meet my scheduled time.Second the provider: Good luck speaking to anyone other than an admin without having to make an appt. I know times are tough but charging me an in office visit to get any of my questions answered by a medical professional is absurd. If you do have a question, the Healow app is useless as they don’t communicate on it. Sure they’ll read your message, and acknowledge that they’ve read it but that’s as far as it goes. They very seldomly call you back even when they say they will and never reply via Healow. It’s almost like there’s an avoidance in putting any treatment recommendations in writing. Dr Williams was great but I haven’t seen him in years.

Do not use!!! Has deeply gone downhill. Had complications from my procedure. Unprofessional, late, lost my appointment, and wasted my time without appology or explanation.

My experience was good for the most part and I ended up getting a double varicocelectomy. The staff are friendly and helpful and take their time making sure everything is explained thoroughly. Everything was fine up until I saw how the scars healed. I asked several times early on in recovery for my incisions to be looked at because they looked quite bad and swollen/overlapping. I was told they look normal, at a follow up appointment I made, when I’ve had surgery before and I have never seen my scars heal like that. They are quite wide and don’t seem to sit flat compared to other scars I’ve gotten in my life and I am self conscious about them now. Especially because they are below the belt in an intimate area and I feel embarrassed.The surgery seems to be successful, and I am thankful for that, but I am waiting on further blood results to see if hormone levels are back to normal levels.The downside, and why I am giving 3 stars, is because now I will have to search and pay for another surgeon to correct them and I imagine that will be costly and require another surgery and another/further recovery time. I also had to go see a dermatologist to get some tips on how to minimize them.If you are getting surgery that requires an incision, I recommend purchasing a silicon scar gel, like Silagen, to apply after the incisions have closed completely and most of the seedling has subsided.

Ben Martinez, nurse practitioner is fantastic! He was extremely thorough walking through various topics that we discussed over the years. I understand that he does most of the evaluation appointment for many of Dr. Williams’ procedures, and I highly recommend him as well as Dr. Williams!

Dr. Russell Williams and his staff are next to none. In 2016 Dr. Russell preformed my vasectomy. Me and my wife decided to have another child so I went back to Dr. Williams and had a Vasectomy Reversal done at the beginning of October of 2022. Within weeks of trying my wife got pregnant. We had a Beautiful baby girl in August of 2023. Now it’s December of 2023 and Dr. Williams preformed another reversal on me. I Can’t say enough about him.

Got my procedure done here. Was told that my insurance would fully cover the procedure. Months down the line, I receive a bill. Called them and they again stated it should have been and would check into it. Next time I hear from them about it, it’s another bill from a collection agency.

Ive been coming here for about 4 or 5 years now and the customer service is great. Theyre good for the guys out there, but by far I want to say that Danielle needs to stand out and be rewarded I heard professionalism, heard energy on the phone and just very friendly and makes you feel at home.

Excellent service, fast procedure and not painful at all! Dr. Williams was extremely nice and professional! Plusss they have TV’s in every room for you to watch while the procedure is being done!

I had great experience. The office is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They answer any and all questions or concerns I had. The vasectomy was done very well and I enjoyed the conversation with Dr Williams. He has done this thousands of time so I felt like I was in good hands. If a vasectomy is right for you, I recommend the Y Factor. 5 stars.

Absolutely a horrible experience with this place. It took almost a month to get my prescription from them, you can not have direct access to your doctor, their scheduling is always over booked so you can’t get in for over a month (sometimes longer), and they’re not clear on their protocols. The only thing that was a good experience was the Dr. I saw. He was amazing but the company and its processes are horrid.

Office staff was super helpful with the procedure process. Everything was explained in detail during my consultation. The procedure was no more than 10 minutes and I barely felt anything. I definitely recommend the Y Factor and Dr Williams!

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I have been using this facility for YEARS now because it’s such a long drawn out process to schedule a simple follow up appointment. It’s unfortunate that there’s only one main number, because nobody EVER answers nor calls you back. We’ve made the drive to the Houston location TWICE and turned away both times for one excuse or another, with the promise that “they’d call us back.” And they don’t. The portal is a joke because you apparently can’t schedule tele-appointments there either. I feel sorry for anyone that uses this facility.

Guys, if youre worried or nervous about the vasectomy procedure like I was, believe me, the only bad part was the fear I had before my procedure. It was not painful. Doctor Williams was very professional and easy going. He was careful, I didnt feel him being rough, or in a hurry at any time. He talked me through it and put my nerves at ease. My experience leading up to my procedure was good. The doctor was friendly and professional. My problem is with the billing office. I’ve called numerous times and all it does is send you to a voicemail box that is full, so you can’t even leave a message ! I’ve been trying to get a refund for overpayment for over two weeks. I called the front office and they let me know I’d be receiving a refund, but when I got my refund it wasn’t the full amount I was supposed to get back.

This place is nothing like an OB/GYN for women. My husband is a new patient and we have not received results. We cannot get a hold of anyone. Front desk staff is rude. I’ve been trying to pay them for months and no call back after leaving multiple messages. I received a statement that was already paid for at the office. I’m sick of chasing them and trying to get a hold of someone. I’m sorry for the patients who don’t get service they deserve.

Everyone was very welcoming and professional. They explained everything about the procedure beforehand which actually helped calm my nerves. Dr.Williams was amazing, very gentle with the twins and he talks to you and you tend to not think too much about what’s going on. In less than 45 minutes I was in and out! Great job guys.

Ive held back for weeks writing this review because i was hoping it would turn around, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.The staff up front and over the phone make me seem like Im troubling them. If I want an update on lab results weeks after the tests, I have to call in to try to get a response, and Im told they are in and under review. When I call and select to speak to a representative they place me back on the original message where I have to select options again.The portal is useless, and updates are far from timely to add any value.There is no true concern to help the clients situation with follow ups or suggested next corse of action after months of trying to work with them.

Weve had an okay experience, not the best, but I guess not the worst either. We sent a message to the provider through healow and it took over a week to receive a response. We booked an appointment online and we received a confirmation for the time we booked, but when the person called to confirm our appointment, it was for a different time and not the time the online confirmation stated. When we asked to speak to someone else about it, he was rude and said theyre going to tell you the same thing and I have no clue why the system did that. Overall, the customer service can be improved.

Because my regular primary care physician refuses to look at me below-the-belt, I’ve been here a couple of times for a wellness exam to make sure everything was fine down below… The preventative exams they do at Y-Factor are really thorough and i appreciate that. They are friendly toward body mods and didnt make any issue of my exotic tattoos / piercings. Insurance covers them as an “in-network provider so I will definitely be returning.The reason Im giving 4 out of 5 stars is because during 1 appointment they launched into a vicious high-pressure sales pitch to force me into a very expensive testosterone injection program… the provider explicitly said my testosterone levels were low. However, I had already looked at the lab results and knew my T. levels were comfortably within the established reference range for men of my age. The testing lab had labeled my results as **NORMAL** yet this physician was telling me the opposite. :-/If youre wanting to do legal testosterone for any reason: Y-Factor will hook you up no-questions-asked… if youre just looking to take care of your health [cancer screening, inguinal hernia check, etc], be ready to say “I need some time to think about your recommend treatment and Im going to get a 2nd opinion.”Overall its a solid 4 out of 5 star provider.

They workers and Doctors are nice. I gave them 3 stars because I wasn’t completely satisfied I got a revision here after having a bad circumcision at a different place because It busted open, was uneven and had excessive skin and they did good with removing the scar but I told them I wanted it with no extra skin and I wanted it tight but after it healed it wasn’t like I wanted. I wanted a redo but I already had a circumcision and revision 😒

Terrible customer service. NEVER met with doctor providing the service. Had a consult with a nurse and set up an appointment a week later. The day before they informed me they needed to move my procedure (and indicated the doctor was double booked at another location). It was not the end of the world, but I scheduled my entire day around the procedure, including a work trip, meetings etc. They offered no apology, were rude and actually insinuated the appointment was never booked and was unsure how it got on the system. It was made in person the day of the consult. Take responsibility for your organizations actions, come on man.

This procedure was simple, pain free, and effective. I’d heard a mix of stories tied to vasectomies and the time and discomfort were well below my anticipation. Dr. Williams clearly explained the procedure and prepared me for every step of the way. No needles used at any point in the surgery and was in and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend consulting Dr. Williams if considering having this done.

I am in my late 50s and had given up on pills trying to fix my ED. Dr Martinez guided me through my options and we decided to try ejections. Sounds scary not bad at all, I now can have experiences in the bedroom again, and my wife and I are happier for it. I have other health issues and this was the right choice for me. Doctors-Professional, quick response time, knowledgeable, and friendly service.Staff-always hit or miss on customer service. Have had several wrong appointment times given to me even though when assigning times they told me they were available. Also have had staff just not even record my appointment leaving me to explain why I was there and them giving excuses as to why it wasnt recorded. Like last week i was told i didnt have an appointment by one staff member only for another staff member to tell them that i should. Like Im right there in person when they schedule it, so how are you going to be rude and tell me that I didnt schedule it?

Wonderful experience. Minimum wait. Friendly staff. I was extremely nervous going into this procedure. The procedure was better than advertised. Very quick. Gentle. No pain and no swelling. Very slight discomfort. Couldve gone to work the next day. I highly recommend The Y Factor and Dr. Williams to anyone.

It was my first time going to a doctor in years and he made sure to make me feel comfortable and provide me with all the information I needed. As the partner of someone who came here and was given the best treatment, options, and care, I am so grateful to Dr. Tristan Grimaldo and the team for getting my honey back to health. We’ve noticed a different since the first treatment and could not be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend getting one of their thorough screenings and consultations. It was so quick and I wished he would have gone sooner!

Did some research beforehand and chose this place for my vasectomy. They went over all information and made sure I was sure about having a vasectomy. I saw Dr. Russel Williams for the procedure. Of corse I was a little nervous but he made it easy. Although mostly painless when I showed discomfort he made sure I was comfortable. The whole process is what you usually hear or read about, quick and easy, done in office and your walking out fine. The only gripe is that they tell you to drop off the samples at labcorp and after 2 negative test your good to go. Only they don’t really get back to you. I forgot if I was told or if I just assumed but I thought they would get back with me about the results. I had to call them to see if the results came in. If you read this far and you end up choosing this place I would say you will have no problems. But once you drop off the sample, make an account for labcorp, it takes 30seconds and you can see the results as soon as it’s done.

I would sincerely recommend the Y factor to handle any and all your needs in men’s health. Doctor Williams was second to none. Bedside manner was really amazing. I was in and out literally less than 20 minutes with my vasectomy. I’d give the 6 stars if I could.

Dr. Grimaldo is such a fantastic doctor I wished he worked with women! My husband and I reviewed results and I left with no questions and so much knowledge it was more then I hoped for. If you are ever seeking answers to the male genitalia or just answers for male anatomy seek out the Y factor!

For over a year I was having lots of pain and I went to many doctors trying to figure it out. I went to the y factor and he was actually able to figure it out pretty quick. A few tests and a couple of visits. Then one surgery later Im better no more pain. They are always nice when you go in and there are not long waits. Top doctor around for urology. Thank you Dr Williams.

Initial appointment went ok, then did the exams as requested. The trouble started when I never got a call with the results. I had to call and leave a message (you cant get a human on the phone - I tried many times). Someone called back that had no idea what tests I did or why. She started reading out test results for things I didnt even know I was tested for, and when I asked about the results of the important tests I was looking for she said she didnt know about that. When I asked her to call me back when she knew what was going on, she hung up on me (first time Ive ever been hung up on by anyone, much less customer service).I eventually got a call back from the provider who apologized and cleared everything up. Providers seems competent, but office staff seems to be lost and unhelpful.

I was looking for a place to get a circumcision done and found this place. Everyone here is great and the procedure went well. I love my results and highly recommend anyone who wants a circumcision to get it here. As long as you follow the post op instructions, the results will be better than you expected. The doctors are friendly and will answer any questions that you may have. I rate this place 10/10!!

Terrible service from the front desk. Scheduling and confirming is all over the place...they could never figure out why healow wasnt working.Doctors are ok but i had to be tested with a person in training and i was never asked if that was ok. Later i was charged for a consult that started with the same person in training just reading the test results. the doctor took over and that went a bit better but i was supposed to have a follow up call from his staff about the treatments and i never did.Insurance wont be accepted to many of the tests required so be ready to pay out of pocket.I made the mistake to not really do much research so trying to help other people here to not make the same mistake.To finish my experience, after almost 3 months with them, they still had my address wrong which explains why i never received the test results i requested which who knows who got it.

I came in to get a vasectomy. At first I was nervous and scared of any possible pain. After going through the procedure, I can confidently say it was quick easy and painless. The Dr and I carried on a conversation and I only felt some slight tugging and then it was over. This by far has been the best experience of any medical facility or procedure Ive had in my lifetime I would definitely recommend you come here for a vasectomy.

I have gone to this office a few times in recent years. I am always disappointed with how it is run, but I was too lazy to find a new one. This morning, I had an 8:30AM appointment. Nobody was there. I saw a white SUV park and go in a side entrance around 8:45. I rang the front bell several times and left 3 voice mails. Once we got in, one of the other patients asked the guy if he had been in the office this whole time.. the guy lied and said he just arrived at 9AM. I am not concerned about a 15 minute discrepancy, but customer service definitely sucked.Anyway by 9:30 I was finally sitting in one of those rooms. I am sure the person I saw was not a doctor. All they did was refer me to labcorp... so for $180 all they did was paperwork with miserable customer service. I do NOT recommend this facility. Do yourself a favor, find a different place.

I’ll start with something positive. I have received good care from the providers I have seen. They were attentive and took the time to make a plan and answer all of my questions. If I didn’t have to deal with the business office I would stay with them.I went in for an appointment on 7/26. I was prescribed three medications.Anastrozole, Clomiphene and HCG to give to myself at home. Walgreens only received the prescription for Clomiphene. I call and left messages two times requesting that the other two prescriptions be sent in. I finally received a call back a week later after my second call. A woman from the doctors office told me she would send in the scripts to Walgreens. Walgreens never received the prescription. I called the next day to let yall know Walgreens never receive the the request. I called again the next week leaving voicemails for the prescription to be sent in and received no response. Finally, I took off work on 8/9 and drove to the clinic to try to resolve this in person. Walgreens finally receive the request. Walgreens then notified me I would need prior authorization for the HCG and it would have to go through their specialty clinic. They sent the the Y Factor an authorization form on 8/9 or 8/10. On 8/19 I call Walgreens and I was told they havent received anything back from your office. I took off work again, drove to the clinic where Im told the form was missing a number. Your clinic didnt reach out to Walgreens to get that information even though there is a call back number at the bottom of the authorization form. I was told I would receive a call back with an update before 3:30 that day. I left and drove to Walgreens personally to find out what the number was. When I get to Walgreens Im told the number that your company needs is phone number for my insurance which is the number on the back of the card and that yall should have that information. Walgreens call your clinic and spoke with a supervisor. The person at Walgreens was told the supervisor is working on it. Im told by the lady at Walgreens that the supervisors is sending the referral to a different pharmacy, and was told I would receive a call from your office. I never received a call and did not receive a call today. When Im told I will be receiving a call, I expect to be called.I am looking for a new provider and expect I will have to have to make an appointment with you to get my medical information because I dont trust your business to be able to send that information to my new doctor. This will be the third time I will have take off from work to deal with something I shouldn’t have to do in person.

Quick, easy and as described. I was in and out in about 30 minutes for a no scalpel vasectomy. The procedure went well. Its not painful but its a bit uncomfortable. I had some bruising and swelling as expected but everything was pretty much back to normal after a week. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vasectomy.

Well just like any guy the thought of me getting a vasectomy was pretty painful. Im thinking in my mind that Im going to see blood all over the place, heart monitor machine flatlining, etc. I really didnt know what to expect or how it was going to feel. But after going through with the procedure it really wasnt bad. Pain level was like majority of men that have rated it and I rated it 2. And no, there wasnt blood all over the place either. Matter of fact, there wasnt any blood even on the gauze. Not sure how but, of course Im not going to look down and see how the doctor is doing it. And if youre wondering what my pain tolerance is like, Ive gotten alot of cuts from sheetmetal, severe burns, bruises, broken ankles, my whole left chest and arm tattooed, a 10 yr horrible relationship with my first borns mother who is bipolar (no offense to those who are) just didnt go well for me, and even a kidney stone. Definitely the 10 yr relationship and kidney stone was the worse pain and i wanted to just die. But the procedure was painless, quick 15 mins, and drove home fine. There are some soreness after, but that is because i just had my testies snipped so thats expected. Doctor Williams did a great job and overall the clinic was professional. So for you fellas that are looking to get it done Id recommend The Y Factor.

Went to the Y Factor a little while ago, was waiting to see how things played out before leaving a review. Went in for the shang ring circumcision, and wow, such a difference! Medically manscaped as they said. Its pretty different after, but guys if youve been considering it, this is the place! Like a brand new little man down there after. Love the new look and feel down below. So much cleaner! Glad i finally bit the bullet and went to these guys

I had a vasectomy. Dr. Williams did a great job. It wasnt painful at all the numbing of the area was as bad as the whole procedure gets. Which wasnt bad at all . It took him less than 10 minutes to do. I figured 8 kids was enough. I highly recommend dr. Williams and the y factor. I couldnt be happier. My nerves were the bad part and him and the staff put me at ease.

Very quick and easy Vasectomy! Went in for just the consult but was able to do it all in about 30 minutes.

Very uncomfortable and unsettling experience. Upon our first visit it went great! We met one of the doctors who I believe no longer works there. As my husband has not seen him since and no one has bothered to update him on where his doctor is. In any practice when a provider for a patient is changed they should be updated about this change. Makes for a more comfortable transition.Going forward my husband being a man is often fickle when scheduling and keeping up with labs and follow-up. So, as his wife who is a nurse I often would call and ask for information and each time i was rudely asked if i was on his HIPAA release form. The office should be able to find this info without having to ask me. Why is this form not able to be viewed by staff?At the end of each conversation im never given any information as if Im a stranger. We have modern technology these days. Things can be emailed, faxed, etc. Not sure why i always walk away still needing answers. After all, im the person who has referred him to this clinic and often accompanies him for visits and his surgery. I also dont feel we should have to come in for an appointment every time we have a question or need answers.Every time my husband has gone into this clinic for a visit he is charged out the whazoo for a simple visit or follow-up with testing. Not sure if they are billing correctly, but we will find out.My husband had a prostate infection which the doctors almost went forward with surgery until i mentioned he still may have the infection and a repeat culture should be done. Im not the doctor. I shouldnt be the person inquiring about these things.Also, my husband is on a therapy plan to help with testosterone and sperm count but they dont check it frequently which should be done to ensure the medication is working or that he is not receiving too much of the medication at any given time.Then we went forward with 2 procedures at once. the surgical center was very unprofessional, lost my husbands wedding ring as they took his belongings out of his bag in a rush to discharge him. Another story, for another day.Ive called this office several more times to get records pertaining to my husbands care as he is very busy and often does not have the time to follow-up on these things and my schedule permits more time to do so. Once again, i was asked if i was on his HIPAA release as he has filled out several of them at this point. We never get calls back when they say they will call, they never update in a timely manner, they do not follow-up when labs have not been completed (not ordered) or to give lab results. Also, the patient portal does not allow for the patient to view his own records/labs/documents. So, why have a patient portal??? All in all, the surgical coordinator and physicians were very kind, but the coordination between all staff and friendliness of front desk staff/phone staff was horrible with every encounter i had. I hope this office learns to practice seeing their patients as customers and not people who call to bother them or another number.Let me end with we came to Y factor in an attempt to assist with reproductive issues. So, why would the wife be questioned about getting the husbands info and given a hard time when calling in with questions when the office staff should know the plans for pregnancy and the need to be a part of my husbands care team? Without my husbands lab results often the woman cant proceed forward with her treatment until the labs of the husband are reported. Please work on your phone etiquette and also ensure the patient/family member gets to the appropriate place without the excessive screening of calls. I do not want to call to discuss. I believe i left it all here.****Update****My husband was fired by office, not seen day of appointment with no legitimate reason. Sounds like retaliation for a poor review. Also, clinic refunded money for overpayment. Sounds shady to me. I pray they run this office differently moving forward. Please be mindful if going to The Y Factor.

First: I dont trust these 5 star reviews written by people with one or 2 review in their account, sounds very suspicious, now a days people can buy reviews!!!I came here with simple Urology issue and I paid to see Dr.Williams himself but was never seen by him (4 visits total), instead, I was seen by his NPs which sometime they dont have answers for you. all they care about is request more procedures to Dr.Williams to perform and bill you more and more.My first appointment was scheduled at 9:00 am at the 249 location, I was there at 9 and I was the only patient in the office but the NP showed up in the office at 9:40 and I was seen by him at 9:45, I shouldve trusted my guts and not to come again!!!Second and third visits, I requested to be seen by Dr.Williams when I scheduled the appointment and I was promised he come to see me but that never happened.They send for imaging and they refuse to discuss the results with you over the phone, they wants you to come to the office which I found this absurd and unheard of.Please stay away from this place, it seems they are only after your $$. Very commercialized health care facility.

I could not be happier with my experience at ManCenters. I went in for general checkup and learned I needed to do a few things to get my health in order. Dr. Williams and Dr. Grimaldo put me at ease, answered all my questions and put me on the correct treatment. The clinic is very clean and the staff is professional and friendly every time I have an appointment. Ive sent multiple friends to ManCenters and all are extremely satisfied with their experience as well.

First appointment I had was rescheduled due to booking two people for the same time period. Second appointment was an even longer wait due to power outages. The staff is very unorganized, except for the actual doctors who are very professional, most of my questions were not answered. My recommended treatment didnt work at all. I will not be returning to this location.

Was pretty quick. Didn’t feel any pain just a little discomfort. Dr was super friendly and kept nice conversations going throughout the process to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I would recommend to friends.

My wife and I had been trying for a baby for over 3 years before finding this place. The best urologists in the city of Houston!! so long story short I have been having problems and I went to many urologist about my issue around the city and nobody could find the problem that was going on I almost gave up… But than I came here !! I spoke with Mike manis he listened to everything I said He was VERY Knowledgeable and explained to me what he think was going on & he FOUND THE ISSUE !!! I went to so many urologist before they would tell me oh everything is normal and that they couldn’t find anything but i knew things were not normal …and mike manis found it !! I highly recommend this practice! Dr Russel Williams and the NP- Tristan Grimaldo are very friendly and knowledgeable about Mens Health in Urology. They actually take the time to listen and explain things to you. Initially I went in for a Low T check up with the NP and turns out there are several factors that contribute to low T that I did not know about. There are several options to increase my own testosterone naturally without the use of synthetics that have many side effects. My T levels are high now and I feel great! Dr Williams is a great surgeon as well. He performed several procedures to help me with my urinary problems that were keeping me up at night. I can now sleep better and be energetic during the day. This is an awesome clinic with friendly providers and staff.

I came to this group not knowing what I was in for. I was embarrassed and scared with my situation and Dr Williams and his team from day one sat down explained all of what was going on in this stage in my life and guided me through a unique treatment plan. Hilariously, Planned Parenthood is faster at delivering test results than this practice. They also won’t charge you ridiculous prices for only 5 min of a consultation. I had to wait a whole week and a half after being told I’d get a call back in a few business days. Only to be told my condition by a receptionist that wanted to set up another ridiculous and pricey appointment just to proscribed a common antibiotic like doxycycline or ciprofloxacin and have the same info repeated to me. They literally will try to charge you hundreds almost a thousand for a bacterial infection a unnecessary consultations. Stay away, these people do not care about your health. They probably bill your insurance for unnecessary charges.

First time coming to the Y factor and the entire staff made everything comfortable for me. They answer all my questions and Mike was one of the coolest. He’s easy to talk to and open up to! Highly recommend this place.

The price for a self pay Vasectomy is $950 with a deducted deposit of $50. I am not sure if it is refundable as my husband kept his appointment. My husband and I went into the office for his procedure and it was fast and smooth. I will not say it was painless but it was barrable. Two weeks later my husband was experiencing pain which we at first thought was related to the Vasectomy. We went back in and had to pay $170 for a non-related lab test. This lab is located in the Memorial Hermann Tower. Results came back and the office called and advised medication was required. We were told that this non-related issue will have to be retested. As we were creeping up on his first Post-op from the vasectomy I advised my husband to do the retest for the non-related issue the same day as the second Post-op. Well that lab (MHTower) informed him wrong and told him the could do the post and the extra test the same day. Now that lab has ran a unpaid for test and a test without a valid order. This brings me here after numerous phone calls to the doctors office only the test for the non-related issue was ran(not paid for) and we were told his result were HIGH PRIORITY by the doctors office on 12/02/2020. My husband finally got a call Monday 12/07/2020. My husband and myself both work in the medical field and the words HIGH PRIORTY means STAT. We were very disappointed in the fact that this was handled so poorly. I had the copy of this now second repot of the non-related issue via email and was told no when I called to obtain the first copy of results. My husband has given a verbal and written consent also had me on 3 way with the office and I was treated as if I could not obtain the records. However this means their HIPPA was violated as this should all have been checked before hand, before they sent over the second test results. Due to this poorly handled issues we will not be seeing them for any other treatment. Make sure to print out ANY LABS, OV(office visit notes) as this can be a mess!!! Yes they have a patient portal and as of today 12/09/2020 @ 12:10pm those non-related lab results are still not in his patient portal.

Experience matters and Dr.Williams have enough experience to properly diagnose the condition and give proper treatments or suggestions to cure the condition. Also, Dr.Carlos focuses on answering the basic to advanced questions of patients without any rush and encourages patients not to worry about anything.. I would highly recommend this urology to anyone who is finding for it..

These guys are great. Specially Dr. Grimaldo. I got a consultation to make sure everything was OK with me to have kids and sure thing I got my wife pregnant very shortly after treatment.

Buyer beware! This chain of clinics will only allow you to see a nurse practitioner at every visit unless you have a procedure done. My husband had severe pain and we were urgently seeking the urologist. Weve been there about three times and the problem still persisted. We found another urologist on our own. We will not return.

Long story short: I suffered a testicular hernia at the age of 11, had surgery to resolve it. A growth was also found and removed from my testicle during the procedure. I experienced pain and other symptoms like fatigue, low motivation/desire and possibly depression (never tested since I’m pretty sure I hid that one from the people around me) on a daily basis. I remember my father taking me to a plethora of doctors and in my mid 20s I gave up on finding a fix. When my wife and I found out we were unable to have kids, an IVF doc sent me to another urologist who said I had hypergonadism and I would never have kids. This was devastating and even worse after a failed IVF cycle. We switched IVF docs and ended up having success but the doc referred me to Dr Williams if I was concerned over my health. Dr Williams and his staff have been great! They didn’t treat me as a patient number and took the time to talk with me regarding my whole history. After a simple 20 min conversation, it was recommended to get an ultrasound. This ultrasound found what we believe to be my problem and surgery has been done to correct it. Within a month, my energy is back, pain and fatigue are gone.

Total waste of time. Didnt even get to speak to the dr. After waiting 45 min. Saw a nurse practitioner. Practitioner tried to sell me some injections and pharmaceuticals for a 1 to 2 month plan that insurance doesnt cover for 500 bucks. Hello, there a reason for that. Made me go in for two blood work labs prior to first visit and they didnt even request the right one on the second visit. Telling me labcorp messed up, Go back at your next available. I explained, how will the doctor know my baseline levels. They just said, come to your appointment any way. They are just looking to charge your insurance any way possible. To top it off, I had to use the restroom while there and they were filthy. Dont bother with their low t scam. At least low t center was clean and responsive.

Not a very good feeling when you are treated like a number. This place is very misleading. Even though you are paying to see a Urologist, you won’t see one, unless special surgeries are needed. NP’s are in a rush to see as many patients as possible, so make sure you ask all questions before they rush out of the appt. They do not return phone calls! If You have a question for a NP, be ready to make an appt just for a simple question to be asked. Office manager violates HIPAA privacy laws, by speaking about your medications in the front lobby very loudly! If you do not care about QUALITY of service come here!

Had an injury at work that caused pain in my left teste. Was not able to sleep well due to discomfort this injury was causing me. Googled a urologist, choose the y factor for its location, they tell me I have a varicose vein. Get the procedure done, no more pinching feeling when I try to sleep on my side and the general discomfort is gone. Tried to do as much research as I could but it seems this is a very common injury that some people get but never experience discomfort or pain. I was one of the unlucky ones as my veins are larger than normal so had to get this fixed.

If I could give Dr. Williams 0 stars it would be just that. This dr performed 3 circumcisions on me and can’t explain to me why the swelling is not going down. I strongly recommend seeking another dr. He refused to see me after visiting his office approximately 20x when he then decided he don’t know what’s going wrong. My manhood is ruined. It left very deep scares. I wish I would’ve never walked into his office

My husband and I had been trying to conceive for almost 3 years and after seeing a fertility doctor (elsewhere at the Houston Fertility Institute) 2 years into it, we were told that the only way we would get pregnant was through IVF. The doctor (at Houston Fertility Institute) told my husband that he would need to be on medication for the rest of his life for the issue we were having. We decided to get a second opinion and after searching we landed here at the Man Center. Fast forward to November of last year. My husband has a procedure done with a recovery time of 3-4 weeks. I had a positive pregnancy test in January (conceived naturally). And hes not going to have to take the medications the IVF doctor said he would need to be on for the rest of his life.If youve been told the only way to get pregnant is through IVF we highly suggest getting a second opinion and most definitely visiting the Man Center!

Minus stars would be in order. Dr Williams has terrible bed side manner, what should have been a simple process/procedure has turned into a ongoing process, now into months . Numerous phone calls and office visits to learn they still are waiting for results. The lack of customer service is another entire story. Look for another provider and Dr.

This is a horrible urologists office. I was a patient of Dr. Williams for months trying to increase my sperm count which was initially non existent. The doctors here were baffled and had no input or treatment ideas, ran no tests, and overall told me that I would have to conceive with IVF. On top of this they put me on a slew of drugs that didnt help, and caused a very serious infection with a biopsy.The doctors do not know what they are doing and I would not trust any of them to help your count and especially not operate.Since changing my urologist (Baylor Medical College) my new doctor has not only identified the issue but corrected it, something the Y factor said was impossible.The Y factor is awful, find a better doctor.
