The services provided were friendly, thorough and quick. I felt the provider really took time to gather information for my healthcare and the follow up and notes are very helpful. You have access to lab info and ranges to better understand your labs and notes about what is recommended.

It was my attempt to be screened by Maggie White for services . Instead two of the female receptionists over the phone wanted to belittle me over clarifying my patient status : New / established. I’m very familiar with medical billing and I had no idea why the two young ladies decided to be rude . Telling me “ time is ticking ” while trying to address my concerns. It was 2 hours back and forth of them hanging up in my face and refusing to answer the phone . I will obtain services elsewhere . It was a very stressful and a strange encounter from two receptionists who refused to identify themselves and talk over me as a future patient provided them my PHI over the phone . The interaction felt very unsafe .

Going to the wellness clinic in Montrose definitely fits my style. I feel so comfortable going in and being transgender. I am so comfortable there.They are wonderful.

I struggled to find a PCP 2 years ago when i first moved here and I was finally happy to find this place. The Medical Assistants are great and I love Maggie my PCP as well. I never wait long and they are very accommodating!

So, grateful for Legacy Community Health, as they took great care of me and made me feel very comfortable. This was the best Doctor visit Ive ever had.

Just moved to Houston and needed a primary doctor. Dr. Carrol made me feel very comfortable and welcomed being my new PCP! The office staff was very pleasant as well. 10/10! Highly recommend.

Dr. Carroll is awesome and really listens. The clinical staff at the Wellness Bar helpful, friendly and professional. It’s super easy to check in online and review your results. The facility is modern and clean, with parking very close by. If you haven’t been to the Wellness bar, check it out. Great Place to get your healthcare needs. If ever you experience anything that is not satisfactory, bringing it to the attention of management will Wow you at their ability to own the mistakes and their quick actions to turn it around in favor of all that are involved.

New patient this week at wellness bar. Dr Carroll and staff were excellent. Dr listened closely to my concerns, thoroughly took into account my medical history and explained everything in an understandable manner. Look forward to continuing being a patient there.

The doctor was great, the rest was horrible. The doctor/reception miscoded the visit for insurance and then refused to change it asking that I find the code and let them know so they could change it. eventually , it was just easy to pay the two hundred dollars and be done. Phone calls never got returned., it was not a great experience or even a good one. I wish it had been better as I really liked the doctor, she was clearly very smart and had expertise that I could have benefitted from but the hassel and expense was just not worth it

The staff was very friendly and professional. Its a LGBTQIA+ organization. The registration staff was welcoming and kind. They also took time to treat each patient like the are unique people. My provider took their time addressing all my concerns about the changes I needed with my medication. They also made sure that I was given the best options for my needs when changing my medicine. They also looked at my medical history and explained as my options that they knew of help me make the most informed decision. I believe that anyone who comes to this location for their healthcare will be extremely happy with the service they receive.

The staff at this location was amazing. Healthcare workers expressed compassion and knowledge. I highly recommend this healthcare facility.

Today wellness bar by Legacy only gets three stars in my review. That is because they have decreased their level of service much to my chagrin. Dr. Carroll does a fabulous job along with his staff of talented and polite people. The problem is now they have routed the switchboard through the California Street location and the level of service has suffered and the delays have increased; my patience suffers. I’m not going to wait two hours for someone at the wellness bar to call me back when previously I could speak to somebody the first time I called. Moreover, I do not want to participate in the cattle car that is on California Street. Robert Palossek please make some changes.

It is important to stay healthy through checkups and legacy made it so comfortable and easy for me.

Maggie, Israel and the her direct staff and the location is great! BUT THE ONE DOWNFALL is one employee with a horrible attitude, over the phone and in person, the way he speaks to you is very much belittling, abrasive, and rude. There were 5 other people that were in the lobby and a few walk ins and he spoke in the same very tone to everyone. He is a reason I wouldn’t give this place a 5. He is a big downfall for the facility. Meanwhile he spoke very loudly in the lobby enough where everyone in the lobby is able to hear all personal details. When he was not a patient you just hear him gossiping and chattering. I did not catch his name, he the bald, African American male, typically at the receptionist desk.Besides him everything there is perfection. So happy this location is available.

Maggie White was extremely professional and personable. She handled my medical concerns with care and gave me easy and reliable medical solutions that fit me & my lifestyle. The staff were all so professional and the wait time was extremely short. There’s so many wonderful things I could say about the wellness bar by legacy, I highly recommend anyone going there. !

Usually have walk-ins available. I feel very comfortable talking to Margaret about any issues because she is very understanding that people dont function in the safest way possible and its her job to make sure you get the care you need. No judgment.

Always a pleasure getting care here. They really DO care here. And medical talent here is not only comfortable but brilliant!

Wellness Bar makes healthcare classy and relaxed. It feels like walking into a health spa or a nice nail salon. The waiting room is vibrant and atypical for a doctor’s office. You might not even realize that it was medical clinic if you were passing it on the street.The staff is always pleasant and their providers are top notch. If you’re the type that hates going to the doctor because of the vibe you get at most clinics, try Wellness Bar instead; they’ll make you feel comfortable and at ease.Don’t listen to people who say the staff is rude; they’re obviously clueless; these are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet in a medical facility. Also, my test results are available to me on-line in two or three days every time I go.

Very interesting place. I went to the one off of westheimer. I called prior to and they said this location would be busy, the bald man answered the phone. I came regardless and there was no one there but me and the workers. The bald male worker asked me loudly what I was there for, no confidentiality. I answered with the same energy. I signed in. The woman receptionist is hesitant to answer the phone. She grimaces when it rings and they share a laugh. They’re practicing Spanish at the front desk which is helpful because we could all be bilingual. I’m called back after an hour and a half. The rapid test went fast. The coffee is great so get you some and a few of the staff members are nice but there’s two people, a woman with brown short hair and a bald man, that are rude and just like to stand around and gossip. Just don’t talk to them. And don’t come early I guess, they seem to not like that…go figure.

I highly recommend everyone who can and wants it, please go to the Wellness Bar for PrEP. The staff are welcoming, non-judgemental and really listen to you as a patient. Great, friendly staff.

Most welcoming and interactive experience I have had a doctors office. Most hospitals or clinics speak to you or ask you questions like youre a statistic. I didnt feel that at all at this place. Everyone was reliable and kind.

I do not enjoy doctors visits, but Legacy made me feel super comfortable! The young lady who I believe is named Valentina (?) at the front desk was attentive, kind and open to addressing any and all concerns that I had. Thank you Legacy for ensuring that the quality of your employees is AMAZING.

A great and welcoming experience. My first time at a doctors office in Houston and went without a hitch. Little wait time from making my appointment and everyone was welcoming, non-judgemental about my needs, and helpful with answering my questions.

I’ve been going to this clinic for a year and I must say I just love them. Kenneth was working the front desk and was super nice. Not only did he get me check in but, he got me all set up for the nurse practitioner Allie. I normally see Haley. But, Allie made me feel like I’ve allows been her patient. They do full labs and the pharmacy is literally down the street and super convenient. If you know anyone who is scared to get tested they will treat you like family here.

Visiting Dr. Carroll at the Legacy Wellness Bar was a pleasant experience. There was hardly any wait involved. Dr. Carroll is easy to talk to and addressed all my needs.

Best experience Ive had in a long time in the healthcare industry. Valentina was extremely helpful and went waaaaay out of her way to make sure I got the care I needed. Highly recommend this place!

I have had nothing but great experiences coming to the Wellness Bar. Convenient and quick, Kenneth has helped me plan my year with appointments in the front while Sandra and Haley answered any and all questions, and got my checkups and prescriptions taken care of. I recommend fully to everyone.

My visits are always easy, the staff is nice and professional from beginning to end. Dr. Carroll is a great doctor.

Just left the wellness bar, i always have the best and most comforting experience. The front desk guy is nice and helpful the latina girl is super sweet and the tall black guy that helped me today was nice. I schedule all my followups here.

I had the opportunity to visit the Wellness Bar by Legacy at Westheimer Road last December. Very friendly and professional service. The ambience is relaxed and very different than other medical facilities. The wellness hosts and clerks are fluent in spanish, so a great value for the latino community.

It was amazing to be at the place where I get fantastic attention and answer to all my questions by the most beautiful , professional Clerk named Valentina. She is SOOO nice and always ready to find the good solutions for my questions with a lovely smile . Legacy thanks for having such and amazing lady working with your company with a sense of care and respect for the patient.

Went to the wellness bar for my first time and had a great experience. Kenneth and the staff made me feel very comfortable and calm. The experience was quick and efficient. I would recommend coming to the location above any other.

Amazing bedside manner, if you are nervous or worried about coming here don’t be, everyone is very warm and welcoming. That’s a huge plus for some people ahi might be coming here for the first time during the toughest time in their lives. Thank you legacy

I came not too long ago for testing and was really happy with how quick the service was, and the fact that I didnt have to be in a clinic clinic and got all my services done in a single room rather than having to go wait in a lab space.

Very nice and clean and feel very cozy in the waiting room. The staff are very warm and accomodating.

By far ‘Legacy’ is the most professional knowledgeable ,and caring health provider I have ever experienced of all the providers the various cities and states I have lived. The best!

If youre looking for quick and effective care especially as a person within the LGBTQ community I say go here!

Everybodys opinion counts, don’t come to this place the staff are rude and give you no sense of privacy. On top of that they think it is okay to voice their own opinion about pregnancy and abortions.

It’s a nice place in a lovely area but the service is terrible and they lack communication. Sat outside for 2 hours and then decided to refuse service afterwards because the receptionist decided to tell my business to the whole community.

Currently seeing my provider for general care and gender care! Absolutely wonderful service!
