Dr. Richmond is phenomenal! With great I feel safe, seen, heard and validated! She listens with an undeniable passion. I’m not just another patient with an issue, I’m a human first with real concerns and desires and she meets me at every intersection of my humanity.I have to say the staff are amazing as well. Very friendly, professional and efficient.

Dr. Richmond is an excellent physician! She is very attentive and cares about her patients. She takes the time to listen to all my concerns and I don’t feel rushed. She’s very informative. She cares about getting to the root cause of what my medical issues are. I greatly appreciate that.

I started going to Dr. Richmond years ago. Service was great and she was very attentive, so naturally I returned to her when I returned to Houston. My 1st year back, service was ok. However, I received a lab bill for a 100% covered visit. I called and emailed several times and was assured that this would be taken care of. Fast forward, the bill was placed in collections. I was told that I would receive orders for other services, never happened.This year, I decided to give her office one more chance. When I scheduled the appt, I was not informed that she had moved. My appt was rescheduled 3 times with 24 hr notice with no explanation after I had already waited a month to be seen.Upon arrival to the appointment that they finally didnt cancel, her staff sat at the front desk and did not acknowledge me at all, but talked amongst each other. They then claimed to have called me several times for information. That was a lie. I discussed my experience with Dr. Richmond. During this visit, she was very different. Not personable, no real questions pertaining to my health. The next week, an office person called me to schedule a telehealth visit to discuss my labs. I had already requested them so that I can be aware of anything happening with me. I inquired if there was a fee associated with the telehealth call. I was told that they would call me back. Guess what..no call.This past week, my BP spiked. I called the office several times over days..no answer and the voicemail is full (This is During business hours). I finally get an answer. Explan that I would like a telehealth visit because Im concerned about my BP. I told her what it was ranging. Per the worker, she called Dr. Richmond (who was not in the office) and Dr. Richmond agreed to do the visit on the next day. As a true medical profession, there was no advice on my BP reading when in actuality, it should have been medical advice given even if it was instructing me to go to the ER. We discussed my co-pay ($30..mind you I already knew this because its printed on my insurance card). I explained that I have a work appt and would appreciate the appt happening at the agreed time. Fast forward...the time comes and no call. I wait 15 minutes and call the office. No answer, voicemail full. I called back several times. Eventually a male returns my call. I explained that I had a telehealth visit, but no one called. He agrees to confirm and then calls me back. The first call back said that she was not answering for him. The second callback said that Dr. Richmond didnt call, because I didnt pay my $75 co-pay. I explained that my co-pay is $30 and that no one requested this yesterday when I called or I would have paid. He then tells me that hes trying to do me a favor. HOW? Its not my business to run. Im a patient. Its not my fault that this office is in shambles. He said he would try to contact Dr. Richmond again. I knew when I hung up that phone that I would never communicate with this office again. Unprofessionalism at its best.SN: Im in the medical field and I often extend lots of grace.

Don’t even waste your time on this place! It’s day 4 and I still do not have an appointment. If it is it like this to make an appointment imagine the rest! Nah I’m good I will be changing my PCP asap!!! First a male answered the phone like I was calling his personal phone. Like ummm is this a clinic or nah!? Second he just said ok we’ll call you back with an appointment. I had to call them back. I kept calling and calling no one would answer. Finally at the end of their shift they do and they get some little info, told me they’d call back and didn’t hear from them again. I wish I could of gave them 0 stars because that’s exactly what service they gave me 0!

Dr Richmond’s office is competent, but most of all caring, in all services related to total health and wellbeing. Highly recommended!

Ive been coming to see Dr. Richmond as my PCP for almost 2 years. It was important for me to have a black woman as my PCP. I really got blessed with this practice. There are always emails being sent out about studies for womens health, and information on different health stuff, and coupons for the spa. You can tell theyre a learning environment as well. I appreciate getting to know her personally and also her care in getting to know me. My visits always go so well because she makes you feel like a friend. She has always been very thorough in my visits. Lets me know my options and reminds me of my options in the care that I may need. When I shared with her communication issues I had with reaching the office about my meds in my last visit, she listened, apologized, and created a solution to address my concern. I appreciated that so much! I am excited to start getting therapeutic massages and the spa. Will update with my experience on that. I dont doubt it will be anything short of amazing.

Best doctor!!!! Hands down. She has a passion to help people. The best part about it is that she doesn’t only help her patients during business hours, but also after hours. Any time you reach out to Dr. Richmond she help you to the best of her ability and for that I will always be grateful for her. If you’re looking for a total health care doctor please consider Dr. Richmond you will NOT be disappointed

I dont have enough space to talk about his much I love Dr. Richmond and her practice. She is dialed into her patients and because she is so informed and intuitive she recognized a symptom and made a referral that has changed my life for the better.Managing multiple chronic conditions is challenging but knowing that she and her staff are there to ensure that I have the best possible outcomes is an amazing experience. I wish more Black women had access to care of this caliber.

Ive been seeing Dr. Richmond for about three years now. She is always professional yet approachable; she is extremely knowledgeable yet can provide explanations that a layperson can understand; she will also ease your white coat fear by her easy energy. Bottom line, I am very comfortable with Dr. Richmond. I trust her and I like her.So...when I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago for my annual examination and was told that if I would like to be seen sooner than later I could see Dr. Richmonds Nurse Practitioner, Latonya Singleton. Of course in my head Im thinking, I want to see Dr. Richmond and I want to see her NOW! But I wanted to be seen sooner so I accepted the appointment reluctantly. (My stuff.)So, I had the exam with Nurse Practitioner Singleton. I found her to be professional yet approachable; she was knowledgeable, a great listener, she treated me as if I was priority, shared advice based on her expertise and answered my questions. When I left I felt that Id had a thorough examination.Of course I trusted whomever Dr. Richmond trusts. For me it was never a trust issue, just a change issue. I wanted to see who I had been seeing. Bottom line, I am so happy that I ignored the stubborn part of me and took a chance on someone new. I am very comfortable with Nurse Practitioner Singleton. Dr. Richmond is truly a total health doctor! She is very professional and makes sure to address all of your needs and concerns. She is professional yet personable and you will feel comfortable talking to her. She gives health advice and she gives life advice as well! I love my PCP!

Dr. Richmond has always listened to my concerns. Sue has been spot on an reference to my health amd weightloss journey.When I come to visit, her team makes me feel comfortable and like family.I bought my 2 boys in one visit because of childcare issues and they staff turned into the best Aunties so I can get through my visit.It takes a village when it comes to the care of a black woman. Dr. Richmonds team is the village you need.

Had my 1st visit w Erica Lewis in April 2022. She is a nurse practitioner, I think. I didnt feel rushed. She listened and was empathetic. Also, she offered helpful information. And, the office staff was fantastic. The wait was very minimal, maybe 5 minutes after I completed the paperwork, I was called in. I went back a few days later to get my blood work (walk-in, no appt needed), since I wasnt fasting at my appointment. The medical assistant/phlebotomist who took my blood was very patient, kind and had a great touch. No pain or bruising. Really liked this location as they werent as busy as the other location off of 610. It was very peaceful.

Dr. Richmond is a true gem! She is always caring and friendly and goes above and beyond to help. She has the best bedside manner when talking about sensitive subjects. I always feel welcomed and that my health is in good hands!

Very unprofessional! I’m a new patient who needed a new primary care doctor and my last two appointments were cancelled. What makes it even worse is the first appointment was cancelled after I had sat there waiting on the doctor 20 minutes past my appointment time. My second appointment was cancelled 10 min before, by that time I was already pulling into the facility. Wasting people’s time is very rude and inconsiderate. Will not be returning.

She is the absolute best! Dr. Richmond was so kind and patient and makes you feel comfortable during your appointment. Definitely recommend!

First visit My provider was very knowledgeable, professional and understanding. I was very pleased with their level of care witch is rare in most offices. And to think was about to go with another office. I think you will feel at home and welcomed.

I had my first visit with Dr. Teriya Richmond on February 10, 2021. I was extremely pleased with my entire visit. She did not rush, listened intently, and was extremely informative. Im looking forward to a long-term relationship with her.👍🏾💛👍🏾

This is the worst Drs office Ive ever been to, or even heard of. That sounds dramatic but, let me explain.-I called to schedule an appt at 4:45pm ( they close at 5p) and was told to call back in the morning at 9am. Ummm, ok?-During scheduling, they took down my insurance information wrong (despite me using the phonetic alphabet, then repeating it) leading to a 60 min ordeal bc I just changed insurances.-They didnt send my prescription to the pharmacy right away... Or the next day. On the 3rd day I called (9x to get a person) and was told it would be handled. On the 4th day, I had to set an timer to call them every 20 mins. After 3 or 4 hours (at 130pm) I got through and was told the NP and Dr had both left for the day and there was nothing that could be done. Theyd send an email and call me when they heard something. No phone call.... But, the pharmacy called to let me know hey had my script(bc it have my acct setup like that).-They did not schedule, refer, or in any way set me up with the sleep study that I was told they would.-They drew blood for labs and told me theyd call to let me know when they came back\the results. They didnt call. They gamlve me no information about a portal or any other way get my labs. Its been 2 weeks and I have no idea what my labs are.-When they finally sent the prescription, they only sent 1 of 2 prescriptions and it was for 5 days.... Not kidding.If all this wasnt ridiculous enough...-Today, I received a letter from my insurance saying the medication prescribed was a dosage for a condition I dont have... and they are denying coverage for the 5 days of medication I actually received.It seems like Im exaggerating but, I am not. They are truly, profoundly, incompetent... And my wife is a physician so, I have some measure of understanding for the chaos that can happen in an office.

Unprofessional and horrible communication skills…my past 2 visits here have been me coming to an appointment for my birth control and they don’t have it. They wait until I get there to tell me when instead of calling me ahead of time. Last time they asked me to pick it up 20 minutes away and bring it to them so that they could administer it…crazy. Also the doctor is literally never here, I’ve seen her once over the past almost year coming here.

Dr Teriya Richmond is an amazing physician. She takes her time with me and is caring and concerned. She is awesome doctor who rocks!
