This place cares WAY MORE about money than your health!!! BEWARE! Disputed a charge because they charged the wrong card ON THE WRONG DAY (they said they would charge on 8/29 and instead it was 8/26), and then I got hit with a $100 chargeback fee from Helix. Thankfully, I will not be paying this as my credit card company is taking care of it. Their customer service is terrible! Some of the worst I’ve ever received. I’ve seen plenty of pizza shops with more competent customer service than what the professionals at Helix Medical provided. First problem is they were initially impossible to get in touch with. After being instructed by an employee, I emailed multiple times trying to switch the card on file and to this day have not received a response. The phone calls are useless as well. Out of nowhere I received a notification that I had a balance close to $300 despite not visiting for months. I wasted hours on the phone getting passed around to people who did not give me an answer to my problem but were more than happy to transfer me to ANOTHER PERSON WHO COULDN’T HELP! It took upwards of 6 hours to get an answer and it came in the form of an email.Needless to say, I’ll never be returning to any of Helix medical’s offices. This place may have diagnosed my illness at the time, but I might as well have stayed home as this waste of time and headache caused by the incompetence of Helix made me feel sick all over again.

Service was fine but they have some extremely shady billing practices. They assured me (incorrectly) that they would accept my insurance.Six weeks later I received an email saying my card would be charged hundreds of dollars the next day for an outstanding balance. Luckily my insurance and credit card company went to bat for me but it was hours of hassle and time on the phone.This place is a chop shop with predatory billing. Beware!!

Disappointing. As one of the only location’s available for PBSC students to complete their required Medical evaluation. They offer appointments to be made but do not tell you online that they do not honor them. We had a 815 appt. Showed up at 8am, there were four people in front of us. We still had to wait over 90 minutes to be called back. When I asked how much longer that’s when I was notified that they do not honor appointments . It is still first come first serve. Students should be aware of this, since many of them are cramming in their requirements prior to a hard and fast deadline and have multiple appointments scheduled.

Two stars because the lady who did my intake was so rude and cold. The NP and girl at the front were great hence the two stars but when I come in with an illness it would be nice not to have someone be so cold and nasty . I won’t be back

Went there due to congestion. Dr. Came in took 1 minute to check me no test or anything. He asked me how many days I wanted my work note for I said I was off. He walked away and never explained my diagnosis, what meds he was going to give me nothing! Was given zpack and prednisone and ended up having an anaphylactic reaction. Turns out what I had was viral and those med were useless. To top it off the charged my insurance for er visit instead of urgent care. Stay away from this place and listen to the other reviews.

Dont waste your money with this company.How is this to see Tina Ellis And was prescribed something that has horrible side effects and does not treat my problem only makes it worse.Totally disregarded but Ive used in the past.Never even had a chance to have a virtual visit.

It was very clean. The medical staff was professional & pleasant. The front desk person had no idea of what my copay would be even after the second visit for follow-up for the same problem. I had never experienced that in a medical office.

This place has been sending me fake bills for monies owed despite never seeing anyone . I spoke to a person on the phone about services however , never received services . They have continued to harass me with bills despite making several phone calls and writing several emails to fix the matter . They are simply trying to collect fees for fake services never rendered .

Judging by other reviews, it looks like I am not alone in the feeling that Helix is disorganized, offers poor customer service, and lacks communications. I was blind charged a large amount of funds with no prior communications via email, text, phone, or traditional After many calls, I was only able to confirm that had the policy number and email incorrect on said account. I tried multiple times to communicate with billing, with no reciprocation back. Finally, I was able to speak with the facilities office manager, who did at least take down the correct information, but threatened to charge me an additional $90 fee when I told her I was able to report the original charge as theft, (assessed charge billed to my bank with no knowledge to client). To boot, the office manager could not inform me of any communication attempts as she did not have access to a communication log.So due to data entry errors at check in, I was left stolen from and now threatened with additional charges.This Urgent Care location seems to stive at building a loyal client base with their quality customer service!

Great place excellent staff, front desk, nurse, and the doctor. I recommend Helix urgent care.

This clinic has no organized protocol of signing in. Do not just right your name in the sign in list. You have to let them know you are here. Otherwise your name will be skipped. I have waited more than hour already and i wonder this cannot be right. So I check with them they said you should have told us what you are here for. Now I have to wait for another turn after those who have skipped me. The receptionist are rude and inconsiderate. Do not come here if youre in emergency. You have to wait even more than the time in the hospital. This place is sucks.

Went to Helix on a Sunday morning. The receptionist was quick to acknowledge my presence, gave me the forms right away. Not 5 minutes later I was called into intake, right after that the Dr came in. Efficient. Pleasant and quick service. If you dont feel good.. go to Helix in Palm Springs by Walmart. Theyll take good care of you

Walked in for a COVID test. Receptionist was polite, professional and friendly. Didnt wait at all as there was nobody else present. They nurse was kind and professional as I was a bit apprehensive. Test was quick and simple and got my results back promptly. Definitely recommend this location. Clean, professional and very nice staff.

I was able to set my appointment on their website, which was extremely easy and convenient. The doctor was very friendly and professional. My only problem is that my appointment was at 8:30 AM and I had already filled all the paperwork online. And I still had to wait about 20 minutes to be seen and then another 10 or so minutes in the examination room Before seeing the doctor. That was the only downfall. They were not busy and I think there was only one other patient in the entire building. Other than that, service was good.

The front desk staff couldn’t be nicer. The medical personal were kind and took their time. I didn’t feel rushed. After I left the center, I had to call them regarding a medication that was prescribed and they were very accommodating answering my questions.I would highly recommend this center to all.

I rather just die before going back to them. Front desk staff is not knowledgeable on process and procedures. Also not detailed oriented it took 3 visits for then to finally get it right. The nurse and doctor was great but front staff, GOOD LUCK. 1 star is too much to give them. Im going to do them and myself a favor, and never return here again.

The service was quick & the nurse & the front office staff were helpful. I felt like the doctor did not listen nor further investigate my pain. With various symptoms for a stomach virus, I was tested for the flu & covid (both negative) and sent home even though I was crying in pain from back pain radiating from my stomach. She recommended I purchase ibuprofen and prescribed me unnecessary medication for nausea. I could have just gone to CVS without seeing a doctor.

The most insane experience Ive ever experienced at a walk in facility...all because I didnt want my weight taken because I came in with an injured foot. Got called a Karen (thats funny btw) because I wouldnt tolerate the MA speaking to her pals up front about me in Spanish. The MA had a serious attitude the moment she walked into the triage room and I wasnt tolerating being treated like that. I feel ridiculous even writing this review because it makes me feel petty and Ive never had something like this happen to me at any medical facility or anywhere else for that matter..I highly dont recommend this facility to my worst enemy. Take the drive east to med xpress Dr GS or MD now in Delray,Update - all though I will keep my review of this office, The regional management and HR team took my complaint seriously, And I appreciate their level of professionalism, especially after the traumatizing experience I had in this particular office.

On 2 separate occasions I and my insurance got billed for services not preformed months after my visits.

On a Saturday, I was able to walk-in and complete a PVP COVID-19 Test. The administrative staff was inviting and welcoming at the front counter. Wait time was short and the office was extremely clean in the front and back. The nurse working was well-educated in her field of knowledge and kind with her hands. (Meaning the swab). Thank you Helix Urgent Team.

I came in due to an issue with my foot. DR. Davis listened to what was taken place, did a thorough examination, and I could see her empathy throughout my entire visit. She also provided a path for recovery.Would recommend her should you be fortunate to have her.

This facility is exceptional! The staff were very friendly and informative. Service was complete at a decent amount of time.I just want to thank Pedro specifically! He was hilarious and honest throughout my exam. He was also very patient with me despite my nervousness at times. I believe he deserves to be recognized and I can’t thank him enough for the visit! Pedro, you’re awesome!!

Horrible wait time. Every time I go they make you wait in the lobby for an hour until they finally call you to a room and then in the room you wait another 1-2 hours while the doctor is in on a chair on his phone. I have come at different times of the day and the same thing most of the time lobby only has 1-2 people waiting so not just at all and still takes 3-4 hrs to get seen. Worse than and ER.

Clean, SUPER FAST, everyone polite and professional and the doctor was amazing. I will always come here for X-rays.

I went in for a covid test after not feeling too good. The ladies at the front desk were very very helpful and informative and super sweet. The wait wasn’t long either. When I got called to the back the MA Letty was super nice and talked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on all the way to walking me to the door. Definitely a super caring and professional facility.

I was seen at Helix Palm Springs for a deep dog bite. I didn’t need stitches.The receptionist and reception area were very welcoming. Intake was very efficient.I didn’t have to wait long to see a nurse; she wrote up my case and took vitals.Next I saw the physician who spent time with me and suggested I take a tetanus shot; he also prescribed two antibiotics. The nurse gave me the tetanus shot and written information.I received a comprehensive summary of the visit with instructions for care of the wound.I’m very satisfied with Helix Palm Springs excellent care, and I highly recommend them.

They were great. I needed tests for pre op on a tight schedule and they got it done.

I going to start by saying this place is amazing. It’s very clean including the bathrooms. The front desk are polite, patient and professional. The check in is smooth and the Nurse listened and accommodating appropriately. Amazing is an understatement for the place and staff. They are clean, professional, caring and work very efficiently and quickly. I am from out of state and was down here on family business. I cut my self with a glass and needed an Urgent Care. I went to one and they were absolutely horrible. Over an hour wait to attend me, rude and unprofessional, mean while my cut on my leg was deep and bleeding. My mom called me and sent me to Helix Urgent Care. She also goes there whenever she needs to. To make a long story short. I felt like I knew the doctor, nurses and staff. I was taken care immediately! They stop my bleeding and took absolutely great care of me. I got 8 stitches and did not even feel it. The doctor was amazing, she was kind, gentle and extremely polite. I wish she worked back in NJ Lol!! Then after I received a follow up call from them a couple days later. The gentleman was very kind and professional and was willing to work with my schedule for my follow up visit. This was a truly amazing experience!!!

Your front desk help is rude. Her side kick was slouched in a chair next to her and looked at me like I was from another planet. Made an appointment for 9, arrived and told you had 1 doctor and they don’t make appointments it’s a pre check in. Consider changing the verbiage on your website to read as such. I would be embarrassed if I had people at my front desk like you do today.

Everyone I saw was kind, caring compassionate and knowledgeable. From the front desk kind receptionist to the sweet nurse. Getting taken care of by Robin Davis was another great experience. Thank you everyone.

Very clean urgent care facility. Front desk and nursing staff were polite and professional. Less than stellar experience, however, with the rest of the care provided. Bedside manners are always important and appreciated by patients especially in these circumstances when you aren’t feeling well. It is vital that patients are treated respectfully, compassionately and are given appropriate guidance.

I had an amazing experience at Helix Urgent Care, Palm Spring. I went on 10/24/2020 and the staff was friendly and very welcoming. The front desk lady was very helpful. The doctor took her time to listen to me and to provide me the best care. Im very happy and pleased with my visit to the clinic!! :)

The front desk was very helpful and courteous, able to coordinate my care with the VA. The Doctors were very knowledgeable and professional, and I feel very good about my experience with everyone I interacted with in this office.

The front staff was very polite and quick.The the nurse which wad a male. He was very polite and explain everything clear to make sure i understood every question as follow. The doctor was nice. He answer all my questions. He was patient with me. I think the entire staff was awesome. My visit was fast . 1 hour. Thanks for the great service

Friday 1pm. Not crowded, clean facility, friendly front desk staff. Wait time was about 25 minutes. A member of staff took my vitals and moved me to exam room where the ARPN on duty examined me.

Worst clinic ever, please dont waste your time or money on this place. First off the receptionists are little teenage girls that dont know simple medical terms. I went there to treat a UTI and they prescribed me with the weakest antibiotic they could give me. In less than a week I was back there again because the pain did not subside and was probably worse than before. They prescribed me with another weak antibiotic and in about 2 weeks the pain was back. They charged me directly since my insurance is OUT OF NETWORK. Still having severe pain I went to another doctor, no appointment needed and he prescribed me with a much stronger antibiotic, that was about 3 weeks ago and I havent had pain since.

What a great experience. From the time I walked in I was greeted with hello and smiles. I filled out my paperwork and within a very short period 5 minutes I was called back. A nice man took my vital signs and I was escorted to an exam room. The nurse practitioner Robin came in introduced herself and did a through evaluation. Better than my own primary. Blood work was ordered and medication sent to pharmacy. The gentleman who took my blood was very kind and assured me he would be as gentle as possible. The urgent care was very clean. I left Helix Urgent care feeling that they treated me appropriately from beginning to end. Thanks again to Robin for your through evaluation and kindness.

The female doctor I can tell was being judgmental & a bit condescending behind her disingenuous smile. She wanted to send me to the ER for a CAT SCAN I KNOW I didn’t need & when I told her I didn’t have insurance she said “they’ll send you a bill just don’t pay for it” , I honestly just needed a doctors note to clear me as I was feeling horrible the day before and this morning . On top of that she brought over some man in scrubs whom didn’t introduce himself and he joins in on my exam saying out of nowhere saying “yeah they’ll just give u a small surgery to take it out no big deal” they were trying to be very facetious .

The most UNPROFESSIONAL place i’ve ever been to. the nurse was great , so professional and so nice but the doctor was disgusting to talk to. u walk in there with so much pain and the doctor asks u “ what do u want me to do “ like idk ? isn’t this ur job. then she goes on to ask me why i haven’t been to a doctor before with the NASTIEST attitude ever , after explaining multiple times that i have. don’t recommend u come here.

My daughter and I have been to Helix Urgent Care twice and both times the experiences were exceptional, Friendly and professional. Front desk staff are well-mannered and Robin was great and knowledgeable. The phlebotomist is great. We love her and she is amazing at her job. Clean location.

Clean venue. Not much wait time. I wasnt there at busiest hour. Nurse who checked me in was kind and listened. Doctor was competant and made suggestions I could follow. Blood taker was gentle. Overall office is casual and comfortable.

The issues we had were, when we called for Covid testing we werent told no insurance you pay. Werent asked what insurance we did have so first time we went waited 45min then told had to come back next day due to staff that was there didnt take Humana/Medicare. In the end very pleasant staff just be prepared to give your entire medical history not just test and out.

I just want to say Helix Urgent Cate has Great Service . The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant.the staff is extremely caring and kind. I want to that Letty for her patients with me she calmed down my anxiety and was very and pleasant. I feel comfortable bring my gamy to this establishment. Thanks for A+ Service!

If I could give it 0 I would. We called twice prior to going in because my husband had liquid in his knee that he needed drained. We called and asked for pricing but were told that the doctor needed to see him in order to give him the correct price. Once we got to the office we waited 2 hours and were told it was $215 on top of the $90 we paid just to be seen. The doctor did not see my husband but they managed to give us a price which is something they could have obviously done over the phone as the doctor did not in fact need to see him in order to charge

When we arrived we were lucky enough to have Luis help us into the location as my Mother needed a wheel chair. Danny was very quick and efficient at getting all our information. We were in and out after seeing the Doctor and of course Chris! My experience with everyone at this location was 5 stars plus!!! Thank you for being kind people.

Helix Urgent Care is an amazing facility, with great doctors and staff! It’s always super clean and I’ve never had to wait long. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly, Luis and Priscilla especially as they helped me when I came to get my medical exam done for school! I would recommend anyone in the area to go there!

I visited Helix Urgent Care in Palm springs Florida for the first time yesterday needing a test for employment. I was stressed out trying to find a facility that I could go to without being a patient after several unsuccessful tries elsewhere I found Helix a simple phone call turned into a pleasant experience. When I arrived the staff was welcoming and courteous. The facility was immaculate , the check in process was easy and quick, as well as the rates being affordable I would highly recommend Helix to anyone who needs Health Care both with or without insurance. You will not be disappointed, its a great place.

Nasty human beings . Refused to see us because we dont have a credit card . Patient has medicaid and Medicare. On the phone they lied and said they take both . I dont recommend. They will rob you when they get your credit card number . Snobs as secretaries .

First of all nobody picks up the phone! If you dont believe me try calling right now. Went there to get a covid-19 test. Around 9:00 in the morning. Waited behind somebody at the desk filling out paperwork. I dont know why they didnt sit in a chair to fill out their paperwork.but After 10 minutes waiting behind him searching through his phone for his information. I walked up to the counter and begin to sign in. Only then was I asked can I help you. only to be told by the big girl behind the counter with long hair. that they werent taking any more people. I looked around the waiting room and there was hardly nobody there. I was told to come back around 12:00 to 1:00 when I came back around 12:00 the place was packed no were to sit. I heard the lady over the counter telling people that they should come in earlier around 8 or 9. This is the same woman that told me to come back at 12:00 to 1:00 when I was already there at 9:00am. Im guessing that she told me to come back at 12:00 because she didnt like how I walked up to the counter and began to sign myself in after she ignored me for a full 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. when I walked in just eye contact and then they looked away.. i Got checked in at 1200 and had to wait an additional 3 hours to get a covid-19 test with people coughing and sneezing around me and for a person with no symptoms thats the last thing you want. I am now calling them two days later to receive my results. And nobody will pick up the phone! The rest of the staff was good. But I think the people that control the front counter play too many games! I wonder how many people came in early like me and was rejected. I wonder how many people are trying to call right now they cannot reach anybody. Dont believe me give it a try call them.

I just want to say thank you to Letty , MA and Dr. Billido at Helix urgent care for taking such good care of my fiance. The office is so clean and beautiful, the staff were all very friendly and professional and the care my fiance received was amazing. We went in and got everything needed for him to be on his way to feeling better by the time we left. Thank you all again for everything!

Visited Helix in order to complete a drug screen for my employer, the staff was professional and courteous, however I have some serious concerns regarding chain of custody. After completing my urine screen I was brought into and office with my sample and signed paperwork that’s used to seal the urine sample. The gentleman had informed me I could leave before he placed the sticker seals with my initials on my urine sample along with the concerning fact that there was a random urine sample sitting on the table (unsealed, and open) inside a collection cup. I’m sure everything will go well with my screen and I’m not attributing any misdoings to the gentleman who collected the drug screen but these circumstances leave an enormous liability as to the authenticity regarding the chain of custody since the collection could easily be tampered with post collection. I just feel this is a good opportunity for training and taking better precautions to ensure confidence during the testing of the drug screen.

I got there at the end of the day and they did not rush me even so. They were very concerned with what I came in with and came up with all kinds of treatments helps and ideas for treating my illness. They were really terrific. Very professional, very courteous, and very knowledgeable in medicine. Outstanding!

Was seen quickly. Doctor was also cognizant of engage in positive bed side manner. Better than your average walk in clinic experience.

I took my disabled sister to this urgent care when she had strep throat. I gave them my sisters insurance card (Medicaid) and they of course stated they accepted same. Doctor gave my sister a penicillin shot and requested a copayment of $50 without even knowing what insurance she had. Fastforward 2 months later and they charge my credit card $300 for the entire visit. Of course they are now saying they dont accept Medicaid. Obviously, if they would of said that initially I would of taken her someplace else even to the ER as she has Medicaid. Urgent cares are on every corner so why would I agree to pay them instead of going someplace else if they allegedly told me they did not accept the insurance. Reported them for Medicaid fraud still waiting on an update.Plus it is almost impossible to get ahold of this office. So that has made this situation even more fun!

One of the worst experiences of my life on one of the worst days. From the minute I walked in I knew I should have gone to MD Now. The front is staffed by literal children with absolutely no knowledge of medicine or customer care. After an hour of waiting, I was told to go elsewhere by an extremely rude pregnant nurse. “Going elsewhere” was admittedly the best advice they gave me. I went to MD Now and had an amazing experience. This horrible place made a bad day even worse and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Attempting to not use gloves for patient contact is a very bad thing.... especially during a pandemic. Long wait for only one person ahead of me. Front reception are nice though. Nice and spacey, you dont feel packed in.

I brought a co-worker here with an injury. They spent 3 hours to let us know that he should go home and rest. $350 dollars wasted to know exactly what we knew we we started.Co-worker was peeing blood, clinic didnt seem to know how to address this. Several questions that they couldnt answer, I felt like I was being intrusive by asking.Very polite receptionist, clean facility. Nice new building.

Proceed with caution. My experience was a waste of time and certainly a waste of money. On the phone and in person, the front desk staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The doctor I saw was very gruff and short with me, bordering on rude. I know that they are busy, but a few moments to actually clarify the prescription they were writing for me would have been immensely helpful, but instead I got the wrong prescription. When I called to see if they could simply call in a new one they said Id need to come in for another visit. If you dont have insurance each visit is $125 which really seems like a lot for approximately 5 minutes of their time. It definitely wasnt worth it. Go to another clinic where they will treat you more like a person and less like a nuisance with dollar signs on your forehead.

Super great place. Took my daughter here to get tested for covid as a precaution and they were really great. My daughter freaks out for everything and the nurse guy was really nice and funny and made her feel comfortable. The doctor was also very nice. Would definitely recommend this place.

Made an appointment for testing and was told to wait outside due to Covid concerns. I was told it would be a 45 minute wait. When I walked in after an hour to check in they still hadnt even registered us in and said it would be about an hour (again). When I asked why that was if we had an appointment they said appointments dont indicate a time of service, it just makes the registration process easier. I think they ignored me the 4 times I said we have an appointment and then forgot to check us in. The receptionist wasnt even slightly apologetic. The service at this place is horrible.

My visit went great! The staff is amazing, I was seen very efficiently. Manny was the most friendly and helpful person while I was there. Thank you for giving me peace of mind and calming my nerves. You made this process way easier.

I went in for a simple Covid test, only to learn that the facility makes it a full-fledged doctors visit. I was concerned about my medical coverage, so I asked a nurse if I could call my insurance to verify that this type of office visit would be paid in full. When the doctor walked in, he wasnt understanding that I was on the phone. He was so annoyed, in fact, that he urged the Office Manager to ask me to leave. Im still trying to process what exactly happened and why this particular situation escalated as it did. I still cant, and there was no call for it. In the end, I wasted almost two hours of my time and left sick with no Covid test administered and no way of knowing whether I had contracted the virus. My word to the wise: Think twice about choosing Helix Urgent Care for your medical care since they lack basic compassion.

The staff is always fantastic. Never had a bad experience . Easy to make an appointment never feel rushed the staff takes their time in treating me for multiple issues. They listen and figure out solutions to get me back in tip top shape or close to it for my age.

I went to Helix for a physical and some blood work for entrance into a medical program and everyone at this facility is very kind and helpful and have an overall great sense of professionalism. The facility is very clean and all COVID precautions are being taken making myself and everyone else feel the utmost comfort at all times, absolutely nothing negative to report.

I got there at 5:14pm there were 5 people waiting in the lounge before me. Waited an hour to be called in were I was than helped by the nurse that was unfriendly with an attitude. Than I was placed in a room for another hour with out being acknowledged at all . I finally told the front desk rep to tell me what’s going on she said that there were 4 more people in the rooms that still needed help. Story short this place is under staffed with doctors and if you want service prepare to wait about 3 hours for a non busy day I can imagine a busy day you’d be there for 5 hours horrible service period !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was seen without an appointment and seemed very promptly. Treated very well by the women at the front desk and by the gentleman who took care of me Chris at the front desk I spoke with I believe her name is karolina and I had a very good experience. Also we can press prison facilities 289 expert it look like very nice facilities

I was feeling so sick and the doc and all the staff were terrific. I got there early, and, only had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. Great professionals. Good clinicians. I recommend this clinic.

The facility is beautiful BUT not one patient in the waiting room yet I sat and waited for an hour to be seen by a MD. I am sorry I did not get the name of the one girl at the front desk as she was the only one who seemed to know what she was doing. Totally unacceptable. I have been an executive in healthcare for over 30 years so I do know how a facility should operate. Obviously, this is poor management. Dr. Casanova; however, was wonderful. This rating is based upon the front desk and the wait. If it were physician only...it would gave been a 5.

I was on vacation in West Palm headed to Islamorada for a week and my dermatitis flared up on my neck. I called Helix urgent care and from the very first phone call until the time I checked out everyone was absolutely great. The beautiful young lady that checked me in, the nurse that took my vitals not to mention Dr Adrian, he was great. Then another nurse came in and gave me a shot. I wish I knew everyone by name because all of you deserve the recognition. I highly recommend Helix if you’re ever in the area and need a friendly caring urgent care. Pam from SC

My daughter got sick while out of town and I took her to this urgent care since it was close to my parents house. It was a clean location and the staff were nice but they incorrectly billed me for an office visit when we had already met the deductible. When I tried to correct them by contacting my insurance company they insisted I still needed to pay for the visit and would be reimbursed whatever I overpaid. Now we have to wait until who knows when to get my money back and it better be for the full amount we are owed. Then my daughter had a reaction to the medication the doctor prescribed for her and I called in to ask them how to proceed not once but twice (on two different days) and they NEVER returned my call. It is totally unprofessional for a call not to be returned but even worse when the patient is suffering from a reaction to the medication that your doctor prescribed. I would not suggest going here considering the experiences that we had.

I am applying for the Radiography program for Palm Beach State and Pedro was excellent answering all the questions I had with Complio.He gave me a sense of ease that no other instructor had done previously.Great place and well knowledge individuals.

I originally went to the Quest Diagnostic in the Walmart located on Hypoluxo and Military and was rudely turned away by a tech named Keisha who rudely stated walk-ins were not being accepted despite me speaking to a tech previously who stated they can do so and asked me to wait. After that horrible encounter I found Helix who was listed as a Quest provider and literally walked in and came out quickly. The woman on the phone was extremely polite as was the front desk man and the tech who took my sample. Needless to say, they turned my experience from a negative one to a positive one. Would definitely recommend.

My experience here was outstanding. I found the staff to be friendly oh, they even had Smiles on their faces! The place was immaculate. The doctors were not in a rush. I highly recommend Helix

I was welcomed with open arms as if I was at home. The check in process was simple- all I had to do was provide my info on the tablet they gave me. I even had a few laughs with the person that gave me a tetanus shot & the doctor that helped me was super nice. 5 stars all around! 👌👌👌

Had an appt, receptionist was very slow registering me, waited 3/4 hour & i was the only one in waiting room. 5 people were apparently on a break as they hung around the front desk. When I was called, the Covid test was efficient and staff very friendly, although I don’t see why it took 2 people to do a simple test. A week later, I still can’t get my result. Not happy with Helix.

I have been to Helix Urgent Care in Lake Worth several times over the years, and each experience that I’ve had there has been wonderful! The staff and healthcare providers really care about their patients. Rarely is there a wait, overall a Great Urgent care facility!!!!

I went in for a Covid test. A week later I called for my results and never got a phone call back.I waited couple days and left a few messages. Finally, after waiting on the phone for 20 minutes for someone to pick up, I was told that the results have been in for a couple of days and that they are too busy to call the patients. I would have to wait for a phone call back from a practitioner and she hoped it would be sometime today, but wasnt sure. This is terrible medicine and dangerous. People need to know if they have this virus and Helix doesnt have the courtesy to inform patients.

We were in and out within 1hr (including xrays), staff was super friendly and very helpful.

This visit was great and the guy who took my blood made it easier to understand what each shot was and what I had to do. His name is Pedro, he even gave so good advice on nursing school. Thanks!

I cold before hand and follow the instructions when I got there I made sure that my request was honored and they seem to be followed I had a good experience at Helix and would refer them. They were courteous professional easy to deal with and affordable

Nice facility, staff was polite, but it took me an hour to be seen. Granted, I was a new patient but there was no one else here and I finished their paperwork (using a tablet which was easy) within 15 minutes. Will come back if necessary but hope wait time will be shorter.

The managers, the staff and whoever runs Helix Medical Centers forgot that they are not, in fact, doctors. A radiology report that was released only to the doctors office, and not to me, was ignored for over a month and then the phone calls from staff began. The report that I received from the imaging laboratory was nothing like what the staff was saying to me over the phone. I have repeatedly asked to speak with the doctor there. They told me that I had to spend another $99 dollars to do that. In the meantime, I am down one breast. No, I am not pleased with Helix. If you have more than a cold, go somewhere else. Now that I have read the other reviews, I will go ahead and seek a publisher for the article I am writing regarding my experience since my visit there in January of 2013. Apparently, I am not the only person who thinks the place needs a big OUT OF BUSINESS sign on the front door.

I have been going to Helix Urgent care in Palm Springs since 2015. Although the service has always been on the slow side, the staff has been professional and adequately resolved my needs. Unfortunately, today was a totally different experience. I went to have my prescriptions refilled and ending up spending more than 2.5 half hours when I was told it would take 1 hour. They changed their computer software and had none of my previous information available so everything had to be done as if I was a totally new patient. The PA took more than an hour to see me and then spent a total of 5 minutes - with me ...which would have been ok if she had been more professional and resolved the issue at hand. I over heard the nurses tell her that the patient (myself) only needed prescriptions refilled and would be quick. Instead she told them she was going to lunch ...which took over 45 minutes with multiple patients waiting in exam rooms. Since I travel for extended periods for work, I requested - as I have done previously - to have prescriptions for three -months. She told me that this was impossible because I was a new patient. I then explained - again - that I had in fact been coming for three years and showed her my prescription bottles with her colleagues name as my physician which were for three months. Only then did she agree to provide the meds but lowered one to a one month supply - with no explanation. I do not take opioids or any other restricted drugs - only meds for hypertension, asthma and minor depression. I am done with Helix. Looking for new options.

Worst experience ever! I called ahead of time and the receptionist told me 45 mins. I get here and after waiting for over 45 mins I go up and ask how much longer and they say another hour and a half!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. After that… now we wait in ANOTHER room for another 20 mins!

Was unable to access care. Online information was incorrect. Your facility doesn’t accept Humana Gold Plus HMO. Your receptionist found another urgent care facility nearby that did.

A large waste of time. The doctor and nurse that assisted my mother very disrespectful and unprofessional. The nurse was very rude and at some point of the visit immature. My mom ended up asking for the dismissal papers. Never ever going there again. I highly do not recommend going there.

Had a long wait but I understood because there were quite a few people there before me. The staff was pleasant and offered coffee or water while I waited. Dr on staff that day was okay too.

The urgent care is clean and they take a good care of you, they have most of the testing equipment on site, I would like to mention Chris and Jolie Perez, they took care of me and my family, both are doing an amazing job at the e facility. I thank you for your services during this Pandemic.

I went for a Covid test and I honestly cannot remember the staff members name that did the test but he was the BESTTTTT!!! I had a previous bad experience with a nurse that did a Covid test and I was so scared and was having a bit of anxiety, but this nurse or maybe he was a doctor, I honestly cannot remember since I was so nervous. He came in very pleasant and I didn’t feel a thing!!!!

Even with a ton of people waiting, the employees were very professional and did an amazing job. Michael was excellent and the doctor was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. Thanks guys!

Absolutely the best guest service I have ever experienced. Every one was very friendly and answered all my questions. Location is clean and well organized, the locals are lucky to have such a great place to go to and feel safe!

I came in after 5pm on a weekday when they were swamped. The administrative assistant was very calm and deligient with me and all my specific questions. The doctor and nurses were all very attentive even while busy which really put me at ease. I would definately recommend this Urgent Care. Thanks guys!

Ive been calling this place for the past 2 days and nobody has picked up the phone! I just need my covid-19 test results to go back to work! Pick up your phone stop letting the answer machine hang up on me! Come to think about it when I was waiting there for my covid-19 test Ive never heard the phone ring once.

I had to give blood and do a few other tests. I almost passed out for the first time in my life. The staff here handled it effectively and professionally! Would recommend 100%.

I went to Helix for tooth pain on a weekend around 7pm (no dentists were available). Ive always struggled with teeth issues. Anyways, I went because I knew I was getting an infection in my mouth. When I got to see the doctor, I told him about my tooth problem and that I just needed an antibiotic, and told him I was a recovering addict. His demenor quickly changed after I told him. He became really rude and told me it was a jaw issue. I went to a doctor later that week and had to have emergency surgery to get my tooth removed because the infection got too bad. And now my helix is trying to charge me $500 because the doctor told my insurance company i came in for the wrong reasons. Will never go here again. I wont suggest it to anyone.

I should have reviewed this last year but never got around to it. My experience was excellent ! It was so nice and clean and the staff they were extremely friendly and efficient . Dr Casanova was awesome. Glad I chose this place.

I was told my wait to get into a room was 40 min. It was 1 1/2 hrs. Then I sat in the room for over an hour and never saw the Dr! No apologies for the wait, not time frame given. I walked out! I waisted almost 3 hours in this place.

Came for a DOT physical. I was told that it would be at least a 2 hour wait. I asked if appointments were available. Guy tells me appointments arent necessary. I guess if your at your job getting paid for the 2 hours an appointment doesnt seem necessary, otherwise...Finally get called. The blood pressure machine is broken. This place is a joke.

Front office staff is nice enough but they refused me service. They don’t accept my insurance which is fine, I said I’d pay out of pocket but was told it’s considered fraud if they take my payment. So stupid. Denying a patient service who’s having an allergic reaction. Last time I go here.

Be prepared to wait for hours. The receptionist acts like it’s her own personal house and there’s 0 rush to see anyone. This place is insane.

Came here for a typical scheduled drug test and front desk “P” wasted my time twice. You’re just suppose to bring your schedule form and valid ID. That’s it. But yet they insisted that I call the potential employer to supposedly “just let them know how long a the test is take”. Which the employer said was completely unnecessary. Just left for the second time with an “our system is down”. Very UNORGANIZED. Now I have to drive to an even further clinic when they should’ve done it the first time.

I needed a physical exam done for a fire department that was fairly extensive, I including hearing, ekg, and vision. Alyis was the EMT who preformed most of my exam and he was great. He was even knowledgeable in the field I was pursuing! Great experience overall.

If I could give this facility a zero..i would give them 2 zeros...The manager there is very unprofessional and defensive. She rudely told me I did get the service I paid for and that if I wanted to know what was my diagnosis I should go check the patient portal. Paid my money to see the doctor who didnt even told me what my problem was!!?? and I was treated poorly.Went home only to call the pharmacy 5 hours later and there was no medication sent..

I went in for a PCR test and was so pleased. Everyone was so nice! I expected to receive lots of attitude, but it was quite the opposite. Highly recommend them.

Everything was very good but I was disappointed to learn that I never actually talked to a Medical Doctor. The PA was very good and I guess the evaluation was ok but my medical physical issues are not resolved and yes I did not get consultation with or from a MD.

My first experience wasnt so great I was in the waiting area for almost 3 hours but my last experience on 10/23/20 was awesome the intake nurse was such a pleasure and the rest of the staff was pleasant as well and the doctors was awesome very pleasant person he seems to care he took care of my DOT physical thank you thank you

Great experience from the from desk gentleman to the doctor, went in to have my sickness diagnosed, turns out to be COVID, the doctor was very reassuring and comforting to my needs and calming me down as I had a mental breakdown with the news of my positive results.

Clean, bright and cheery atmosphere. Pleasant front office staff. Didn’t wait long. Thorough medical history taken by tech. Very informative and pleasant physician.

Worst place you can ever go to. Quick to charge fees, but long wait times before seeing someone, waiting more inside and the attention was not the best. We went in for COVID testing and took forever to get the results.

Last week i carried a co-worker, injured at work, in an office, which is located on the 10th Ave N !! we were waiting for medical service for almost 30 min! service that never came! as they first had to communicate with comp works !! I believe and coming from a family of doctors !! health and welfare of pasiente first !! and it must be served d immediately, regardless of color, race, or nationality, whether you have insurance or not, if you have money or not. I believe is a lack of medical ethics what happened, of waiting and uncontrollable pain and bleeding, my coworker lot and decided to go to an emergency room in a hospital annoying !!! should greatly improve its services in this case !!! att a very disappointed customer

The PA treated me like a drug addict because I needed anxiety medication for panic attacks and couldnt get into a psychiatrist for a month. He claimed that the computer wouldnt let him prescribe the medication I needed which is a load of s*** they call it in to the pharmacy the computer has nothing to do with it.Total waste of money and time would be better if you would just admit he sees me as a drug seeker and refuses to write it instead of lying and blaming it on a computer Im not a f****** idiot

My niece went for injury’s from a car accident they treated her terrible, lied about verifying information that never verified the manger came out and accusing her of making a review and told her that she could go elsewhere we have recordings of the horrible treatment that was given . Very unprofessional on top of that the place was not clean even during COVID .

I walked in and out at a reasonable time. Luis the EMT working the front desk was very helpful. I was treated very well! Everyone on the team was hands on.

I got poison Ivy reaction but they said I just got mosquito bites. Even my friends know better then the doctor here. So disappointed! I was there for the first time and definitely never come back

Dr Rene Casanova at Palm Springs location very rude and unprofessional. Didn’t care about patients careless examinations, didn’t care about anything bJust laughing the whole time , didn’t take the time to look into what was wrong, just heard what was said and just guess what was wrong . Didn’t even proscribed the correct medication

Before that any other matter I want to clarify that this review is not about the young lady on the front desk, even when she has some customers service skills to learn yet, is not her treatment (it was correct)what made me write this review at all, is more about the way this private places that are dealing with humans in moments of medical stress should handle the financial part of the history.I was in this clinic trying to get helped sunday 01/19/2020 but instead of that I got a cold financial welcome, unable to contact my insurance I was requested a credit card to be opened to charge in case the insurance didnt pay, (never welcome, what brought you here today?, how are you feeling?), nothing human but mrs may I have your Identification and insurance card?, we are unable to get the information from the insurance so you need to give us $150 and leave a card on file to charge you in case the insurance didnt pay, do you think this is a decent treatment to someone in an urgent healtcare clinic??????, shouldnt you private clinic disclose to me first how much could be expected for me to be charge with before asking me to give you one of my credit cards?shame on you administrator of Xelix Lake Worth you wont be having my business again, I have been there before and was helped with the same insurance card and was never mistreated this way, treaded as a financial criminal that in the past own you something, I requested to be charge the $150 and be billed later If needed but that was not an option because your integrity and interest it is more valuable tan mine???, nevermind , delete all my information from your system you are not trustful to me any more.

Good people but the whole visit took almost 3 hours. Med Express charges more but boasts they can get you in and out within 1 hour.

I came to this place for the Covid test with appointment and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get the test done( just 2 patients in front of me for any service) Horrible customer service, I can’t imagine how long it would take for other than a nasal swab for Covid.

MALPRACTICE!!! Doctor saw me for like 2 seconds and told me i had a upper respiratory infection. Gave me incorrect meds that made me sicker i ended up in the hospital. Almost DIED becuase of the doctors wrong diagnoses. Ecoli is not a upper respitory infection.

Let me start with the front desk very rude, made up lies said they don’t take third party insurance, didn’t great me when I walked in very prejudice, refused to see me at a urgent care for no apparent reason was talking with her hands and very unprofessional I will not be returning.
