Plaza Towers OBGYN Lawrence Bruksch, MD

I was initially turned off by other reviews but ended up going to Dr. Bruksch and had a wonderful experience. He was great and took time to explain things to me. I didn’t feel rushed which sometimes happens with doctors. I also dealt with Leah and Indira and they were lovely. Overall it was a fantastic appointment. I have zero complaints.

Ive had nothing but exceptional experiences with staff and doctors. The staff has been helpful and accommodating the doctors are thorough and informative

My experiences with Dr. Wilson have all been excellent. She is compassionate, intelligent, and personable. The office is no-frills but I was able to get a first time appointment within 24 hours.

Front office staff is not helpful at all. I called multiple times and was told I would receive a callback at certain times and that never happened. I’ve been emailing, calling and leaving voicemails and no luck. Dr. Wilson rushed me every time we interacted,instead of providing answers to questions I was asking. I’ve felt really tired and lonely trying to communicate with the staff and doctors at this place. If you need anything more than a routine check up, I advise going somewhere else.

Never answering the phone and not helpful at all.I had to do a Leep procedure and after months they managed to schedule an appointment in Santa Monica. The day before the appointment they called me at 7pm to tell me they didn’t have the machine to do the procedure. They didn’t care at all to schedule me another appointment or call another doctor for one. Horrible experience

Dr Gould is very nice and professional. She took the time to answer all my questions and showed that she really cares. She even called me a few days later to gave me my test results. I never had a dr called me before with results, only office staff. I am very happy with the service.

The front staff does not appear to know what is going on. My wife needed a time sensitive exam done and they never placed a referral to the insurance. Almost a week later, I call to check and Im being lied to on the phone. Im being told that it should be approved soon when I had just checked with my insurance and no such paperwork was filed. I then insist that they call because the girl is determined to lie and say it was filed, and so Im promised a call back. I Dont receive one, but instead when I call, I identify myself and I get hung up on. When I called back, she ignored the call so that the call would be transferred to the Santa Monica Office. Its a shame because the doctor and nurse that attended my wife were so nice and it took a horrible and insensitive staff member to ruin in entire office reputation. A Doctors practice is only as good as its staff, and it sad to say that this office is sub par because of her. This one person messed up royally and instead of owning it and trying to fix it, she lied, then blamed the Santa Monica office and had them fix it.

Love this place but I really question their management. Far too often are they open and Im told the location has no nurse or doctor in.. I dont understand why any medical office would consider themself open without a medical professional present. Getting an appointment can be a headache as well. The Santa Monica location doesnt validate parking - its cash only and not cheap and not a convenient location for me either especially once you consider the parking...Beyond the administrative issues, the doctors and nurses are great. Dr. Gould and Dr. Wilson are patient, knowledgeable, and detailed. If it werent for the amazing doctors I would go elsewhere. Reception is patient too. I dont blame them for my frustrations - they obviously dont manage the schedules of the nurses and doctors but I do hope they share patient frustrations with management because something needs to change.

Honestly no respect or care for young women having a hard time. Doctor Brooks has no respect for his clients. My friend got a DNC and he left the specimen on the counter right in front of her. She even told them not to schedule Doctor Brooks for the procedure and they did it anyways. They also never informed her about the cost of testing and when she called their billing office about her problem. She left multiple messages for them and never got a call back. Then when she finally got ahold of the bill collector they told her you should have known better. No sort of professionalism at all from these people. Shes called me multiple times in tears about this situation. I cant stand that anyone would treat someone let alone my friend like that. Its such a sensitive thing and they had no respect for her.

Gynecology is a very intrusive practice, and I was never made to feel comfortable or understood anytime Ive gone. Im finally leaving their practices. Ive seen two different doctors with them and both times not been helped or treated with regard to my situation. Honestly dont go to either of their roffices

Horrible. The staff here (all staff besides the doctors) lack professionalism, care, and attention to detail. They tried having me fill out forms that they should be held accountable for. I have tried for over one month to get my preventative care ordered and replaced and no one can tell me what the hang up is.

My old OBGYN had retired so I went to Plaza Towers to establish a relationship with a new doctor. Dr. Wilson was very nice and professional. She took her time with me and explained everything.

I’ve seen many OBs but this office is by far the best . The Drs care about you and want to help. My husband and I finally felt relieved that we found such an awesome knowledgeable and caring office. The staff is sweet and the Drs really put your mind at ease. The appointments are thorough and you get answers. Definitely recommend this office!

Im not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Ive been going to Plaza towers since Ive moved to LA and the Drs I meet have been great! Theyve been professional and do not rush me during my appt. The staff, has been good to me too. I think alot of people forget that when you run an OBGyn clinic, the doctors are also on call to see expectant mothers or emergency surgeries at the maternity hospitals and Plaza Towers covers 3 hospitals. Remember that doctors are human too but Obgyn Doctors run on fumes from having to cover their hospital responsibility to clinic responsibilities. I personally dont know how they are able to juggle the two clinics and 3 hospitals but they do. I barely have enough energy to work one full-time job at one location but these doctors are running around westside LA. Ive had nothing but positive experiences with the two male Drs at the santa Monica and Westchester offices.

Dr.Brusckh, Dr.Chang and their insurance specialist, Tracy are absolutely phenomenal! I’ve been with this doctors office for over 20 years and they assisted with the birth and delivery of my 4 sons. I could never trust any other doctors office for my OBGYN, efficient service & medical insurance justification needs! Thank you!

I found this office on Google. My 1st visit went very well with Dr. Gould. She paid attention to my concerns and gave me great referrals. The office is in a great location, Im very pleased.

Dr Wilson is great. But the front desk is very impatient and seems like she don’t understand the actual question that I asked.

Safe to say I am going to find a better office with higher quality care and more professional staff. Dont waste your time here.

I’ve been trying to get in contact with them for a week to receive my medical records and after numerous phone numbers and emails have yet to get in contact with or hear back from anyone.

It looks like a busy office. Its near a CBTL coffeehouse.

Unfortunately, aside from great nurses, this is not a good place.

They don’t answer the phone.
