AFC Urgent Care Memphis

This was by far the best walk in clinic experience I have ever has and Ive been to many in several cities in my lifetime. Tracy was excellent! Clear, friendly, professional, very communicative- and I can say the same for every person who worked with me. I was in and out very quickly with everything I needed. I was also grateful you were open 7 days. I will happily drive across town to this location for all my future needs. And Ill tell everyone I know!

This is normally our go to minor medical center when our doctor’s office is closed. The location is convenient and you are able to book an appointment online. My 8 year old son was the patient, we were there to get strep, covid, and flu tests due to a lingering cough that became worse.The PA or nurse was extremely rude to my son and wasn’t being unclear with her instructions. She had to do two nasal swabs and gave him a tissue in between the swabs but didn’t tell him to wipe not blow. Of course he proceeded to blow and she started yelling at him and became frustrated with him. At this point my son and I were very uncomfortable. When she did his throat swab he was afraid to hold his head back. When she swabbed she yelled at him to close this mouth if he needed to cough. Of course he is going to need to cough after a throat swab, it is a natural reflex. The nurse/PA also made me feel as if my list of concerns were not valid reasons for my visit. She kept asking, “is there anything else wrong with him?” Needless to say I was very disappointed in our visit.

The workers and doctors were amazing! I had my 86 year old mother, who is in a wheelchair, and before I could get her in, they saw me struggling and came to the car to help. That was how our visit started and from that moment on it was truly a kind and helpful environment. Everyone appeared to be happy working and caring for us. Not at all what you find most places these days. Sherita Rina was especially attentive to my mom as well as everyone else. All of my family will continue using AFC Urgent Care. Dr. Rogers was so kind to fit me in at the end of the day. He did a great job taking care of my toe and ankle. The staff could not have been nicer. I don’t hope to get injured again anytime soon but if I do I certainly know where I will go.

This Urgent Care Was The Best One I’ve EVER VISITED. I Give Them 10 ⭐️’s out of ten. The Front Desk Receptionist was so awesome. The place was very clean, Staff Nurses/Doctors were extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable while figuring out what was wrong with me. Visiting Memphis from out of town - the last thing was expecting to need medical care. Calling my health insurance made the process so smooth. They referred me to AFC Urgent Care Memphis-who were pleasant, professional, and masked-up. The facility was in close proximity of my hotel. The new (for me) sign-in process went smoothly. As well getting the needed prescription from nearby Walgreens. End result - I feel much better and can continue my trip. Thank you!

Receptionist named Tracy was very welcoming. She had me fill out my paper work in a small amount of time and mentioned how my debit card could be saved for future visits which is great for somebody who forgets their wallet at home a lot like me. The wait time wasn’t as long as I thought it was going to be despite the many people. Service was fast and efficient.

Tracy was very friendly and courteous. I called in the morning to get information on appts and price, I left a message and she promptly called me back and got me a same day appt. When I arrived she was very friendly despite there being a full waiting room. Sometimes going to an urgent care can be stressful but she was great at her job and very efficient! We would come back for sure

I have been to AFC clinics in several different cities across TN and GA, and Ive been very pleased every time. Today I visited the clinic in Memphis, TN and had a very positive experience. You can make an appointment online, complete your pre-visit paperwork online, and you never have to wait long after arrival. Everyone in the Memphis clinic was so kind and helpful. Tracy, Beca and Dr. Rogers we’re all professional and did a great job. Check-in with Tracy was quick and orderly. Triage with Beca was friendly and detailed. I was immediately put in a room and saw Dr. Rogers within minutes we’re he quickly assessed my condition, made recommendations, and called in a prescription.

I sliced my thumb on a potato peeler. I was a complete pansy. They let me and took their time. Ms Joann and Ms. Sherita came in to especially check on me. They were wonderful. Highly recommend

Kids don’t choose a time to get sick, so we have been there several time over the past years. Everyone in the facility showed professionalism and kindness. They are trying all they can to make sure we can get treated on time. The experience yesterday was with Dr Melissa, JoAn and Susan. All offered superior care to my kid. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but I made an appointment specifically avoid a long wait time and I wasnt seen by a doctor until an hour after my appointment time had passed

The staff is fast and friendly Im not talking about pretend friendly but it’s your job but honestly friendly individuals and the young lady name Sherita didn’t hurt me at all I was surprised that she gave me the injection but I didn’t know that she did it until I started walking 😂 the lady knows what she’s doing!!! We need more gentle hands!!🙌 great place and fast!!

The customer service representative that greeted me was TRACY. She was very helpful, polite and efficient. She is a great person to be the first to greet customers.

Always a great place to visit when anything urgent or illness comes up. Staff is friendly and courteous. Nurses are highly skilled, professional, and actually show interest in your case/problem. The doctor(s) are quick but straight to the point and so easy to relate with. They will work to get your issues fixed asap. Small wait times are required if they’re busy (even if you made an appointment) but its understandable and is generally less than 30-45 mins tops. I fear this may be just one of a few others left in Memphis that don’t rush you and want to fix your problem but instead just want cash it out like so many others. 👍🙏

The staff was very attentive from assisting us getting our dad/husband out of the car into the wheelchair. They were compassionate regarding his dementia, and very gentle with him.We definitely recommend AFC to anyone asking.

We didn’t have to wait long and they treated my mom with so much kindness! Hopefully we won’t have to come back anytime soon, but if we do then we will be loyal to this location/group of people!

I came in for an illness that I had been trying to treat at home, unsuccessfully, for almost 4 weeks! I tried to get an appointment with my gastroenterologist, but the soonest I could get an appointment with the PA was May 1st.Everyone at AFC was very professional and attentive. They were very empathetic. The front desk got me registered quickly, the triage nurse was very thorough taking my medical information and taking my vitals. She really made me feel comfortable!Dr. Breitling was outstanding. I’ve been to other walk in Clinics and the physicians are not knowledgeable about the symptoms or how to treat the illness! She was very thorough and explained the antibiotic she was prescribing and why and medications to avoid. Nurse Susan was extremely friendly and very thorough explaining the “kit” she was sending home with me, to be returned to the office.I would definitely recommend coming here.And I would definitely return.

Tracy was the best getting me checked in quickly so barely had to do anything and made my trip much easier and less hassle. Very happy with the help I’ve received when visiting here.

I drove myself here waited four hours for an appointment that they did not honor would not allow me to self-pay. This is why we need healthcare for all because people like this should not be in the healthcare business. We were in and out in about 1.5 hours. The staff was friendly and professional. I walked in with my two children to be tested for Covid. They tested all three of us and were great with my children.

I’ve been here before but when I came in to do a “work” physical and was turned away immediately without typing my information in (after having an appointment) because they “don’t know anything about me.” So just be warned, they don’t do physicals for the Department of Human Services.

Staff was super great, the wait wasn’t long at all, and I left knowing that I recieved excellent care for a cut on my foot that required stitches. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care on Poplar in Memphis!

I have never had a painless booty (hip) shot before, but the magical Susan in injections made it possible. Also, another clinic technically on my insurance coverage list didn’t take my insurance (UnitedHealthcare Choice), but this clinic did.I was seen very quickly and everyone who works here, from the receptionist to nurses, are so sweet!!!

Staff was nice, but...Went in and was given a sinus cocktail shot. Before insurance plan deductions, the charge was $595, so if you dont have insurance, youd be wise to avoid going here if possible. Thankfully only paying $130 out of pocket which is still in my primary physicians words ludicrous.

False advertising! Website says they do DOT physicals. The site lets you make an appointment specifying it is for a DOT physical, then lets you check in online. Got to the location, checked in at the front desk, then 10 minutes later the receptionist tells me they don’t do DOT physicals! Total waste of my time. Will never go back here for any reason

I had a situation with a new job where I had to get tested for Covid asap and it was past closing for my usual minor med I go to. So I called here and gave my insurance info to make sure I wouldn’t be paying/ paying anything crazy and they said yes and I won’t have to worry about anything. Then I get here and the door says if you have Covid symptoms to wait in ur car, so I’m waiting in my car because I definitely do and I called the phone like 30 times and I’m just sitting and looking at the receptionist not answer it so eventually I walk in anyways. I get signed in and set up with insurance and everything and then I have to wait about thirty minutes in the lobby and then wait another thirty in the exam room for the doctor. She was nice but we didn’t even get a diagnosis she just prescribed me like 5 medications and sent me on my way. Well I get back up to the front assuming I need to pay a copay and they said oh don’t worry about it you don’t have to pay anything. Of course I’m thrilled so I leave only to be billed $229 months later while I’m young and moving across the country and buying a car all in the same week. I am thoroughly disappointed after being told I wasn’t going to have to worry about paying because if I originally knew it would be this much I wouldn’t have visited. Also it said $650 before insurance which is absolutely absurd. I could’ve just gotten an at home test for $30. I feel like these medical offices take advantage of normal people. Will not be returning again. (Sorry for the long run on sentences)

Went for one thing and they treated me for another. When I complained they told me to pay another co-pay even though they messed up. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m calling my insurance company to dispute all charges and my bank to dispute the co-pay. What a waste of time.

Excellent service. Very easy check-in, all attendants were very friendly, and you always get to see an actual MD. Very impressed.

Wait time was a little long, but the staff is very friendly and Sherita gave me a shot that I did NOT feel. This is definitely my new spot for all my urgent care needs.

The experience I had today on 6/8/24 was very poor and unprofessional by staff. For one the front desk receptionist ask me out loud why was I here and the entire waiting room could hear. The waiting room smell like marijuana and there should have be a sign in sheet to write down my medical compliant. Totally HIPPA violation.

From Tracey on the phone before I arrived and at the desk once I got there to Jomara at triage and Sherita and Dr. Rogers in the exam room and xray, my experience was phenomenal! I live downtown but I would drive all the way to AFC and bypass other urgent care facilities if I ever need urgent care again!

I had a horrible experience. My doctor was Dr. Breitling. I came into the urgent care with a fractured foot. She never fully even came into the room to speak with me and examine my foot. She left me with an ankle brace and my own slides that I came in when I should’ve been put in a boot and crutches. I felt like she couldn’t give me a straightforward answer for any of my questions. A total waste of $300.

All of the staff was very courteous and friendly. They seemed to have genuine concern for their patients. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this place as your go to in time of need. Thanks AFC!

I dont see anything urgent when you wait for 30 minutes in lobby.. they have taken my 50 dollar payment and I hope I dont wait 30 minutes in back... I should have checked in online first but when you see urgent care and Walk in accepted you would think they have enough doctors to accommodate the patients... Its a long wait and I am not sure how much longer until they call me back.Part 2 of my experience so I got called to back 1:30 which is 45 minute from check in. Now Im in a holding room until I go to another room... Pray for me because Im getting agitated for the wait time..I should have went to fast pace urgent care they are super quick25 minutes later I get up to see if the doctor has forgotten me in the holding room and I asked how much longer and one of the nurses stated I had three other in front of me.. I said I thought this was a urgent Carr and five minutes later I was called to another room... I will never come back and I dont recommend. Still no doctor has seen me.

Front desk and initial consultation was fine. BUT the doctor(Breitling) who cared for my wife was horrible. Communication was very bad. Was asking others for their opinion on what should be done with her foot. She didnt speak much to my wife on what was thenproblem. Very bad doctor. Could have Google and got more information from that than what we got from her. Never will be back to this place.

I was sent here for a workmans comp claim. I immediately knew the doctor wasnt there for me but the company that was paying him. Ive spoken to another doctor and nurse since I left and gave them my diagnosis and course of actions. They both thought this was ridiculous. I wouldnt recommend you take your pet here!

SCAM FRAUD ALERT!I denied service, and was billed for it anyway.For 3 years now I have had the most aggressive debt collection I have ever seen hounding me about a bill for service that was refused.THEY WILL FRAUD YOU! STAY AWAY AT ANY COST

Unfortunately,I wasn’t able to recieve care today. When asked about insurance, they couldn’t take my insurance. After not being able to take my insurance, they said I couldn’t pay out of pocket due to the law. I feel like if they have clients who are in pain, they should have other alternatives for the patients. There wasn’t any other options for help. Not recommendations or trying to help. Just turned away.I hope they fix the problem for those patients whom are being turned away due to insurance and are willing to pay. It’s unfair to the those patients who are in pain. If you have any insurance, call first because you wouldn’t want to waste your time on driving in pain and being turned away.

I came in with an ear infection with a 10 on the pain scale and they took absolute care of me! They are great, timely and pay attention to the needs of their patients even if it goes unsaid. I am so thankful for them!

I went in thinking I just had a cold and wanted a cocktail shot to help with it. They ran four tests (mono, strep, covid, and flu) they all came back negative but I still had fluid in my ears and a 101 fever which meant I had a sinus infection and they sent off an antibiotic for me. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

They got me in and taken care-of quickly and professionally. Sherita the RMA was fantastic!

I work for a company that puts customer service above all in a sales motivated industry and from the time we came in the door we were given excellent care. The doctor was attentive, asked questions and really listened - didnt assume anything. And even though my symptoms were very general he explained to me his finding. Im grateful for the way I was treated, for the respect and the wonderful personalities each staff member and evident passion for their work. Great team! Great service! Great visit! I will be returning should I need interim medical care.

There’s no point in making an appointment as you’ll have to wait 2 hours regardless.There was a needle with the thing they use to withdraw blood in the sink in my room.Literally 0/10 this place is trash.*Update*: they never sent in prescriptions. I had to call them to see where they were and was told it will take up to another hour before the person working today call send them in.

I was asked to write down my symptoms. I was honest about coming off anxiety medication and having a fast heart rate and bad anxiety as a result. I just wanted relief for the fast heart rate, like beta blockers or something (which simultaneously help anxiety...). I literally wrote Looking for non-narcotic relief and the lady at the desk says, very loudly in front of the whole waiting room, we cant help you because we dont prescribe narcotics. I guess she cant read or doesnt know that non-narcotic meds can help anxiety. I told her Im not looking for narcotics. She said they cant help with a fast heart rate and I need to go to the ER. They treated me like a junkie. Never coming back. Also, I called another urgent care place and spoke to a much nicer lady who said girl, no when I told her I went here. That says a lot. I hope the front desk lady sleeps well tonight while Im up all night with my heart racing.

Everyone was so nice. It was non stressful. Very clean. The fact that you can make an appointment and not have to wait as long is the best. Dr B is amazing, very personable and caring. Best urgent care experience weve ever had. I highly recommend them!

Easy same day appt, digital pre-paperwork was simple and did not need to be redone upon arrival. Arrived 10 mins early, called back 20 mins later. The staff was very nice and professional, Dr Rogers listened and addressed everything. I felt very well cared for and was relieved after my visit.

No wait. No line. Signing in with my phone was quick and simple. Receptionist was friendly and approachable. The triage nurse, I think her name was Suzy, she was the best, honestly I have never had anyone more professional and as knowledgeable as her, caring, competent and efficient. The doctor had great bedside manner; he explained everything and gave excellent advice for any foreseeable issues and gave me time to talk. I would give him a 10 out of 10. I didn’t even feel the needle when I received the shot. This urgent care is top notch, I highly recommend this location.

The staff was really nice. This was my 1st time going there. It was a pleasant experience. The doctor abated my questions, but I didnt really leave with a diagnosis. I just knew what I didnt have. 2 days after the visit I did test positive for covid even though they said i was negative. Guess they tested me too early🤷🏽‍♀️

I made an appointment and completed paperwork online beforehand, expecting a somewhat expedited experience. When I arrive, a front desk girl claims Im checked in, but after an hour of wait time and somebody whod arrived after me getting called, I finally go up to ask the other front desk girl if Im actually checked in. She brushes me off without even asking my name. After ten minutes or so goes by, she calls me back up and confirms that I was never checked in. Without any apology or explanation, she sends me back to wait now that Im finally checked in.When I eventually see the doctor, she informs me that she can no longer perform the procedure that I need due to the clinics concern about, get this: wait times for patients. To be fair, the doctor herself did what she could, but the irony of the whole thing was incredible.Overall, 2 hours of my life that Ill never get back for less than 5 minutes with a doctor. Worst clinic experience Ive ever had.

Fast and efficient. They do a fantastic job here. Everyone is friendly which makes the atmosphere much better compared to most doctor’s offices. If you’re sick and wanna get back to life quickly, this is the place!

Everyone was very kind, had smiles behind masks and in their voices. I was in and out in less than thirty minutes. I highly recommend this office.

I had an appointment for 9:30am, it’s 10:10am now and I’m still waiting to be seen. They have a sign posted saying appointments will take priority over walk-ins which can’t be true because people who literally walked in with no appointment after me have been called to be seen as I’m still waiting. Very inconsiderate as I have to be at work shortly which is why I scheduled their 9:30am opening.Update: The lady that took my vitals and the doctor are very nice.

This was my 2nd visit to American Family Care, and it was just as great as the 1st. Great staff, great nurses, and the doctor was really great as well. Nurse Desirae, is awesome! She was wonderful! Dr. Melissa was great! She took care of me, and was very patient when I asked questions. Wait time was great, even though they were busy. I was not there maybe an hour. If I need to visit them again, I will definitely go! Great people, great office.

Just had the best experience at AFC. I was in and out within an hour. Tracy, Susan, Tammy and Dr Rogers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was not feeling well at all but they made me feel as comfortable as possible. They were extremely proactive in their approach and I really appreciate it!

The staff is very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Lee. Her bedside manner was awesome. My issue was resolved and I was in and out within a hour.

Took a while to get seen, but the nurse and doctor were quite nice and informative.

The old black woman at the front desk was very rude to me she said there was a wait and then I said that I would be willing to wait. And then she gets an attitude with me and says no we’re not accepting patients. Why didnt you just say that at first ya dumb old bag? Then she proceeded to mean mug me through the window like she was gonna do something. Probably the worst doctors visit in my entire life. I will be praying for her to become a better person ! This is the kind of service you would expect from a McDonald’s drive thru employee at 2 AM, Not a medical office. In short, if you want your care to be anything but urgent, come here!Also the ownership makes excuses or argues with the 1 star reviews so it’s not surprising that this is most likely a culture problem from the top down.

I was here as instructed with everything filled out online at 12:45 for a 1:00 pm appointment. I am just now at 2pm in an exam room. Just wondering if this is normal. This is Sunday afternoon. Don’t know how much longer I will be here. Everything is nice, the people, nurses etc. Everything is clean ! Just wish appts meant something to facilities.

I went in for a punctured foot and they were very efficient and friendly. The nurses and doctor had a very gentle touch when dealing with the wound and giving shots. Plus this facility has the ability to take X-rays where other minor meds do not. Great place with great people.

Don’t waste your time here I sent all of my documents before my appointment and I waited over 1 hour after my appointment time to be seen the receptionist was trying to send me away because she said I needed an MRI se ask me to show her my neck and was talking about my injury in front of the other patients, like she is the doctor asking me to show my neck to her because that’s were the pain is , please save yourself some time energy and money and go somewhere else. On the other hand the lady Doctor that saw me was great and very knowledgeable so if they get rid of the receptionist playing Doctor that place would be just fine.

I have been going to AFC for YEARS. I have never left disappointed. Today, I had to visit them and the service was wonderful beginning with the front desk person. She was polite, and while there was a bit of a wait, she kept us abreast of what was going on and how many patients were in front of us. The nurse who does the intake is hilarious and so sweet! She makes you feel right at home! The doctor was thorough, patient, and empathetic to what I was going through. Ive never left a review for AFC, but I wanted to let you all know what a great job you are doing! Im so glad that my famil and I can depend on you all!

Tracy the receptionist and rest of the staff were very pleasant and professional. I was able to run a couple errands during my wait and by the time I got back they were calling me to tell me they were ready for me to come back. Labs were done fairly quickly and I was seen by the provider quickly as well. I had a good experience!

You go to places like this so you dont have to wait. They also advertise no wait when making an appointment online. I made the online reservation and still waited 2 hours. If they did what they promised, would be different.

Wonderful staff, nurses and doctor! Arrived at 8 a.m. walked us through the check-in on the app. Careful exam with labs and discussed options for care. Even had an issue with pharmacy which prompted us to go back and they saw us right away!

At first I had a bad experience with them. I called to make sure they were still open because I knew the holidays were coming and lots of places were closing early. The lady on the phone told me I could still come in. Once I got there a different lady a black woman told me i couldn’t do a walk in because they were closing early. Thank goodness the lady I spoke to interrupted her and told her that she spoke to me on the phone and I can still come. I am a black woman and after the rude lady took my information, white customers came in and she didn’t deny them when they told her they were walk ins. My experience did get better when the doctor and nurse were kind to me. Even the nurse said my name correctly and was extremely kind. The service was fast too. I would’ve given this place 5 stars but the black receptionist with the terrible weave messed that up especially since she first denied me but then didn’t tell the white customers they couldn’t do walk ins. I will still come back because other people know customer service and to be honest I wanted to call the lady out for doing that but all I cared about was getting better.

Editing the review since the business doesnt apparently doesnt understand how medical billing works and seems to think all that matters is what I owe versus what services they claimed to have performed on those bills, and the total amounts that they billed my insurance company for those services - some of which were performed and others were not performed. I guess if all the extra, unperformed services result in just an extra $17.88 to me, then medical billing fraud is all good here at AFC Urgent Care! Doesnt matter that my insurance company (which really just means my employer, and my monthly premiums) paid for services that werent performed... who cares, right? Perhaps we should have a new slogan for AFC Urgent Care: AFC Urgent Care Memphis, where billing fraud only costs you $17.88!The office billed my insurance for $698 for nothing to be accomplished during the visit. After a bunch of labs - could be viral, could be bacterial, no way to tell. And then they tacked on a few extra services to the bill that they did not perform on me. Not sure if its intentional fraud or just a few coding errors, but I have been calling the billing group 5-10 times per month for the past 6 months trying to resolve. They are horrible and put it back on the office; office directs you back to billing dept. Now Im going to just try to work through my insurance company to see if they will fight this for me. What a huge mistake going here. However bad you feel in the moment - its not worth the months of pain trying to get them to not commit billing fraud!

I waited 3 hours to see the doctor while in pain…placed in a room for an hour…for the office manager to tell me that they couldn’t see me. Not the doctor that was sitting right outside of the door to tell me 🤔💀… When the Ms.JoAnne and Ms.Tracey was at least trying to explicate the information to me and give me a flyer….All of a sudden Dr.Breitlng had something to say “ Don’t give her that let WC give her the information “ smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ she wasn’t trying to help me at all. I don’t even know that lady for her to not want to help me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #leftStillinPain😕

All of the staff were friendly and courteous, the wait time was reasonable, and the doctor was engaged and quite well informed. Was impressed with everything.

Everyone was very friendly and compassionate. I did not feel rushed. My wait time was about 25 mins but about 15 mins was to fill out p/w on my phone... which was a challenge for me. due to my vision. I would suggest you make an appt to decrease your wait time. I saw Dr Rogers. I found him to be very friendly and interested in what my concern was. He also provided me w a brace and answered my questions compassionately. I would highly recommend AFC to anyone

Over the years Ive been to many doctors and emergency clinics. The entire area was spotless, staff professional-but compassionate, and the front desk was efficient. 1st time I have experienced such care in 50 years! Thank you!

This was my first time visiting this clinic and my last. Unprofessional far as giving test results. I was waiting for test results. No one from the office contacted me to inform me my results were ready. I called to get my results. They gave my bad results over the phone. I was told my results came back abnormal and that was the end of the conversation. No explanations of the results, no options, or referrals. Usually other offices would tell you to come in for a follow up appointment to explain the abnormal results. Not this office. So now with the lack of information given, I have to find another professional doctor facility. One that can explain to me my situation and options I need to take for my health. If you are concern about your health, this is not the facility to go for healthcare. This was a just a waste of time.

The ladies are very professional and friendly. Thats one of the reasons I always choose AFC. Its always clean and orderly. They do their best to get you in and out in a timely manner.

I had an appointment and still sat for 2.hours in the waiting room. The care I got when I finally got seen was very good but iI was not expecting to spend 3 hours there.

Great urgent care facility. Admin staff are friendly and positive. About an hour wait if you dont have an appointment which isnt bad, but i would recommend making an appointment. Dr Rogers was great, took all the time needed to answer all of my questions. Everyone there has great bedside manner, and truly care to get you relief. Once called in, everything goes quick, from tests to x rays. Highly recommend, but also would make appointment if you can.

Saw Dr. Melissa Breitling today and had the best experience. She was kind, professional, and took time to establish rapport. Tracy checked us in and was exceptional. We had an appointment and we’re waking out about 60 min later which is completely reasonable for urgent care.This is our first visit since a previous terrible experience with Dr. Norris, who is no longer there.The staff today were a breath of fresh air. I would recommend and will return if needed in the future.

I had an absolutely great experience. Dr. Manhan and all of her nurses were the sweetest most caring people! Great conversation and a great time considering my leg was gashed open that they took great care of as soon as I came through the door! I couldn’t have asked for a more positive environment and experience! Such a great caring group couldn’t recommend it more !(:

I went to Urgent Care around 4:00 today and had the most pleasant experience. I did not have to wait but 5 min and everyone was SO nice. They all had the nicest bedside manner (kind, personable, and professional). We had the nicest conversations and I was out of there within 30 min. I got a shot and script sent to my pharmacy. I will be going back whenever I am under the weather. Thank you Urgent Care for seeing me on such a short notice and at the end of the work day.

First time I have been there and went because my doctor is closed on Saturdays. I will come back when my doctor is too busy to fit me in given how easy it was to get in to see the nurse. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

The staff here was so pleasant and friendly. I waited a minimal amount of time, was treated with beautiful smiles, and so much more. Fabulous customer service is not dead in East Memphis! Even in the last place I would ever expect it. I’m totally blown away!

My Experience at this place was horrible, Desree (Medical Assistant) and the young at lady the front was the only helpful person there. The doctor literally didnt take anytime to explain to me that I should do, she was very dismissive towards me. Im not sure if it was because Im black or what. I had to ask her what I should do she look at me in the nastiest way and said yeah I guess and just walked out!

I called on my way the business to see how many people were in line and an estimated wait time. I was told there was only 2 people so when I made it there was only 1 person in the lobby and that was about 9:30. I checked in and did the online registration and waited. I want to say about at least 10 patients came in after me and checked in at the desk and only like 2/3 people had appointments. I know that a because I was sitting close to the desk so I could hear, when they asked if they had an appointment. Everybody that came in the lobby after had gone to the back and was leaving out one by one quickly. At 11:00, I was the only patient still sitting in the lobby. Not to forget it was 1 person waiting when I made it and they were called to the back in less than 10 min from when I sat down. Anyways I didnt get called to the back until 11:15. I asked the lady at the desk, how did everyone go back before me when I was here before them. She said she didnt understand how that happened because I was 3rd in line in the stack and she had my registration pulled over a hour ago. So somehow I got to the bottom but nobody knows how and she said but I am next because I was on top in the stack. Of course I was next because I was the only person waiting.

Fantastic staff! I am from Delaware, visiting Memphis for Graceland. I was sick and called AFC for care. I went in and was seen by an amazing staff. The doctor was amazing and I got meds right away and can enjoy the rest of my vacation. Thank you, AFC!Elizabeth

Honestly the doctors/nurse practitioners here are ok. I mean they treat you how most walk-in clinics do. It’s not excellent but it’s not terrible either. I usually leave with no diagnosis and prescribed medication that may or may not help me get better. The reason I left 3 stars is because of the front desk staff. The lady requested all of my information I gave her updated insurance. I told her I needed to change my pharmacy to Baptist hospital, she proceeds to tell me I can’t have it sent there. I said that doesn’t make sense it’s a pharmacy just like Walgreens or anywhere, but ok send it to cvs. I go back to see the doctor and I tell the doctor I need it sent to baptist. It gets sent to baptist no issues. Fast forward a month later I get a $600 bill because they have billed my old insurance. I call the billing department and they do not even have my new insurance on file. I’m not sure what this girl did, but she did not go out of her way to provide customer service. First mistake was telling me inaccurate information, if she was unsure all she had to do was ask someone. I worked as a secretary for years at the hospital, people appreciated me for just doing my job, and I never understand. I guess it’s because others don’t do their job. Maybe this was the odd occurrence where the information just didn’t save, but I have a feeling that’s not the case.

Went to the clinic this morning at 10:30 am, but wasnt seen until 3:00 pm. I was told people with appointments have priority over walk-ins. I understand but disagree, how can you make sick patients wait over 4 hrs to be seen? Walk-ins should not be penalized because they dont have appointments. They should be worked in by the order they arrive. I will not be using this clinic again and I will make sure this gets around by word of mouth.

Whats the point of making an online registration/checking in when you still have to check in at the desk anyway? At least put a sign up indicating this. Also, you have two different receptionists telling folks two different things. Get it together. The wait times are hard enough on people. The good thing is your staff behind the closed doors is amazing so the 4 stars is justified.

Even if you have an appointment, people who are walk-ins go in front of you, I have only been here twice. There is no point in making appointments with this place when they make you sit for + 2 hours. People have rescheduled and left due to the slow pace. My understanding is if X-rays take up time and cause delays they shouldnt do them here at all.They have good nurses but the wait time makes you waste so much time and energy just to sit and wait. And there is no point in getting there early, better to come at your designated time.Unfortunately since this is the only place I knew that would be open on a Sunday, I came here but not next time. At the end of my appointment, I was told the wrong results because of a mix up.

Everyone was so kind and friendly from the front office staff to the back office staff. I live in Cordova and AFC is the only place that I will go to other than my physician.
