AFC Urgent Care Mentor

I have nothing but good things to say about this urgent care. They are fast and get you taken care of. Every doctor I’ve seen at this urgent care is nice and always there to help you feel better. The girls that work there are always smiling and always happy to see you and get you feeling better. I love this place and will always return if I’m sick or hurt! It’s a clean establishment and always welcoming when you step inside. I’d give it more stars if I could that’s how much I love this urgent care! Everyone there is amazing!!

I truly appreciate how kind everyone at this location is. When you or your family dont feel well, being treated kindly goes a really long way. Every time weve come here, it was a pleasant experience. The Dr was very patient and informative with my questions which eased any concerns we had. Thank you to everyone. You have a wonderful staff!

Have always had a good experience here. You can go on line and get a scheduled time so your not sitting around a waiting room. The Dr. Is friendly and even gave me his cell number to follow up with him the following day.

Great staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Zach was very nice & easy on the eyes which helped my pain level. He will be a great primary care Dr. Good listener which is hard to find in a Dr. These days.

Dr.Cingireddi is the best primary care doctor I’ve ever had. He really cares about your health an how you’re doing. I’ve never had someone more caring than him. He moved from Ashtabula out to Mentor and it’s about 45 minutes away from his old work place an it’s worth the trip out to see him because how much he cares for his patients. I have a lot of respect for him an he’s helped me a lot with any of my issues I’ve had! Since my motorcycle accident he’s been my primary care doctor an has helped me a bunch. My family an I appreciate all he has done for me since I’ve first started seeing him. Thank you Dr.Cingireddi!

August 16, 2024I needed care and Im so happy I chose this place. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The facility has a pleasant atmosphere and its clean.

Been here 3 times and all three times has a great experience overall, they are quick to get you in you really don’t wait for more than 5-10 minutes. Doctors are super professional and very knowledgeable!

Afc did a great job with my immigration medical exam. Mrs. Ganga is wonderful she help me a lot the beginning to the ends.It took me only one day to get everything done comparing to other places make you wait for months and months with higher prices.Thank you so much I love themCall then if you need civil surgeon for immigration easy process and less price.I recommended 100%

AFC is the best urgent care I have encountered, They have renewed my faith in urgent care. The staff and physician were polite and caring. Dr, Cingireddi is exceptional. He really cares about his patients. He takes time to listen and explains things well. His compassion was exemplified when he called me to see how I was doing. AFC is the place to go. Horrible experience, problem was not solved or even helped.  Doctor seemed very inexperienced...wrote symptoms on a post it note.  Seemed veryConfused....then after blood was taken was going to send my 16 year old son off with out any resolution with his extremely sore stomach.....after i stated what do we do about his extremely sore stomach.....the docter them walks back in to say....Oh I thought you already left????? Im like really...you just took his blood and was going to just send him on his way??? We left and went to ER where they immediately took symptoms and diagnosed  with IBS and took blood work to male sure he didnt need surgery and in mean time gave us prescription to relieve his belly pain.  My son leftFeeling like the ER doctor as he said...was the GOAT and knew exactly what he was going through......Dont waste money going to this walk in clinic.....Very disappointed!!!Also the reply was very generic

My wife needed bloodwork done and she is deathly afraid of needles. The entire team here at AFC was phenomenal at making her confident and comfortable while performing the blood draw. They were extremely patient and compassionate to her fears. 100% would return for any future needs. Love this team! Thank you!

The facility was very clean. The front desk had no trouble guiding me through check in. The doctor was extremely friendly and obviously experienced. Both with his profession AND with kids. I felt sooo relieved after leaving there. Im always so worried about going into medical facilities in fear it will be confusing and the staff will be unfriendly which makes an already stressful situation worse. This was a much better experience than I have had in other places. Thank you!

Visited AFC URGENT CARE for immunization and physical exam! Great staff! Dr. Laxman and team had been very informative about the process, made sure I got everything I needed and communicated with me about my test results and recommended me to get the right immunization in time! Best care received from everyone that works there! Highly recommend this place!!

We arrived at AFC on a Sunday about 4 pm, the sign said there was an office emergency and they had to close early. We have Medicaid as a secondary so that makes our urgent care options very slim, my 2.5 year old daughter was insistent we go back to check the doors to see if they were locked and of course they were. BUT! All of a sudden a car pulls up and the woman (Ganga) explains that there was a medical emergency with the staff and she had to take her to the emergency room, so that’s why they closed but she asked me who was the patient and they asked if I was willing for her to be seen real quick. I had suspicions that she had a right ear infection based on what I saw when I looked, and I am so thankful to Ganga and Natalie Kolman, FNP for seeing my daughter Talulah despite the office emergency. Thank you!!

Everyone here is always incredibly kind and patient! Everything is always extremely clean and it is our go-to urgent care.

I’m usually very anxious/uncomfortable in medical settings. I felt very at ease here, friendly and welcoming staff. Visited 2 days ago and my issues are already clearing up.

The staff was so incredibly wonderful! We came in about 20 min before closing bc our daughter broke her finger after it accidentally got slammed in the door by her brother. No one treated us like we were keeping them there late or that they were frustrated we arrived so close to closing. Every single staff member was SO kind and professional. I have been a nurse practitioner for >5 years and a nurse for almost 15 and the quality of care and compassion your team provided us was exceptional. Thank you so much!

This place is terrible!! Just days short of having medical insurance through work so was paying on my own. Just needed antibiotics, paid 175.00 to wait, then told there were more fees including send the urine out to be tested.. WHAT?? Been through this before, you only have to put a test strip in my cup of urine, find I have a serious infection and write a prescription. I would have paid over 300.00 and still have to pay for prescription. What a scam!!! Cvs and Walgreens can do this for half the price, prescription included. THEY ARE SERIOUSLY OVER CHARGING!!!!

We love coming here. They are exceptional in their people skills and in their work.Their ability to communicate with us was comforting.

Staff friendly and timely. We were able to be seen immediately after checking in and the support staff was very efficient. The PA was caring and k owned age and offered to call us with test results so that we wouldnt have to wait for them (my daughter was so tired and needed to lay down). Having a young child who is very sick, and even younger children waiting for me at home, I very much appreciated this.

I wish I could give this place a 0/5. Prior to the baby being changed on the table, I wiped it down due to the appearance. And the fact that there was no paper on the table. Please look at the photos.

This was a great experience for an urgent care facility, i was taken back quickly and everyone was professional! My test results came back very fast and i was able to be home with my prescriptions within an hour! I highly recommend AFC!

Dr. C was so warm and kind and listened to what was going on. I really appreciated his bed side manor, he was informative and genuine. I was relieved to walk out of there feeling taken care of right before my trip.

Great experience every time when I do have to go here. The staff are nice and the Doctor is wonderful and he makes sure you know what is wrong or what type of prescription you are receiving. Very good bedside manner. He gave me his cell number incase my daughter had any thing else happen or we had problems getting her prescription. Seeing that our pharmacy was closed and we ended up being the last appointment of the day. To me that meant a lot.

The shadowing doctor an older white lady made me feel very uncomfortable. If I ever came and she was the doctor I would not want to see her and if shes the only doctor I would suck up the sickness and come another day! Do not bring her on! Visit day 10/5/23. I LOVED the actual doctor he was so funny and genuinely cares! So it would be unfair to remove more than 1 star. I truly want to give 5 stars but because of that older white lady a shadowing doctor in training or whatever she is, I was VERY uncomfortable. She asked me questions that was none of her business about my medical past that had nothing to do with my visit and she was very judgmental as if someone of color could not possibly be obese in the past and not have medical issues. I wouldn’t trust whoever she is alone with my dog and I don’t even have one! I will continue to come here but will refuse treatment from her I don’t even want her to acknowledge me. AFC if you read these PLEASE DO NOT HIRE HER ON! If you want to continue to get great reviews and a great experience she is NOT A GOOD FIT! From reception to nurses to the doctors all AWESOME but that lady right there she DOES NOT FIT! now you can do what you want to but I promise you this she will be the reason your reviews tank. She is not warm nor welcoming and didn’t even say hello. The whole time she just looked at me up and down like how dare you lose weight and not be chunky like me! Well Pooh if you put down the hostess you would be happier too! Do not judge someone for their choice of wanting to be healthy and not needing corrective surgery! Not every one needs plastic surgery after weight loss surgery! You are not a nice lady and I pray you find peace and love within yourself. I came here to be treated kindly and fairly not to feel shamed and answer your 21 questions about my positive life choices. AFC I REPEAT ONE MORE TIME SHE IS NOT IT FOR YOUR BUSINESS. I LOVED THE ACTUAL DOCTOR WHO TREATED ME HE IS THE BOMB!!!

Everyone there was very nice and helpful, but I would like to mention Jennifer. She checked me in, did my vitals and did the x-rays and was so nice. It took quite a while to get the x-rays Red which they warned me about but Jennifer kept coming in to check on me and let me know that they hadn’t forgotten about me. I will recommend this urgent care to anyone And if I need to go to an urgent care again, I will definitely come here.

I arrived at 2:36. I met the receptionist who had a disgusted look on her face and says I am sorry but I can schedule you for tomorrow we just took our last patient. You’re still open till 3. I come here a lot and have been out in less then 20 min before. No reason I could not be seen.

The staff is curtious. They get you in ama out within an hour or less, if you have prescheduled your appointment. I started going to them when covid hit.I highly recommend them.

If zero stars were available, Id pick that.Not only was my husband turned away because they were closing soon but when we called to ask where the nearest urgent care was the girl on the phone got angry and hung up on me. Insanely rude and unprofessional

Excellent service and prompt solution to my Poison Ivy problem but since then I have been hounded by a debt collection agency for hundreds of dollars which has now been reduced to around fifty dollars by a credit agency who are a threat to my credit rating,

0/10. Went here yesterday concerned the my 4 month old was having trouble breathing. After waiting hours to be seen, the doctor barely looked at him, barely listened to our concerns and quickly dismissed us. Im not kidding when I say she was only in our room with us for 1 minute. We ended up in the ER, headed to the ICU, less than 24 hours later. Absolutely disappointed and will never return. The only positive, our nurse was very sweet and dropped in to let us know we had not been forgotten.

Had a pretty good experience here. I came here yesterday on 1/4/24 due to my ear being very clogged up due to the cold I was having. The staff and nurse were very friendly. My doctor was Carrie Page and she took the time to listen to me and my symptoms I was having. She examined me and told me exactly what was going on and knew what kind of treatment to give me (prednisone and claritin d), plus she perscribed me an antibiotic for me to start if the treatment Im taking doesnt work. Im feeling a lot better than I was yesterday and the Claritin D started working almost instantly. I will come here again if needed.

Very nice staff. They can take digital X-rays and provide a preliminary diagnosis. They also treat your injury to the best of their ability and suggest your next step. Recommended.

Love this place! Its fast and convenient, and the staff is always friendly and caring!Edit: Been here multiple times and its still a convenient place to go and Ill keep the 5star rating. But I recently had an ear infection. Turns out my eardrum was ruptured and they never saw it? Even though I came 3 separate times before I was able to see my regular ENT doctor...🤷‍♀️

Made an appointment early in the week for a shoulder injury that’s been bothering me for years. Dr. Cingireddi took care of me and made the whole process easy and explained everything well. So far I have been pain free and I will be coming back in future visits and recommending AFC urgent care to everyone

Was very fast. Didn’t have to wait no more than 10 minutes to get back to be seen. The staff and doctor was very nice and answered all questions.

Very disappointing to begin with. The nurse asked me what my weight was. She checked my vitals and I was watching her. Her eyes got really big I asked her was my blood pressure high and she hesitated on answering me I didn’t know what my temperature was or anything else. No information given I had my elbow x-rayed I was concerned about the upper part of my chest hurting the doctorFelt it didn’t need an x-ray, but I won’t forget when the nurse asked me if I had a stroke my jaw dropped. I will not go there again very disappointed.

Made an appointment online for a sports physical, arrived 20 minutes early, had to pay $60 because they wouldn’t take my insurance and then realized we are in a cue with everyone who just walked in off the street. We’ve now been waiting an hour. Ask for a refund because I really don’t have time to wait and was told the person who processes refunds is not in. Will never make this mistake again. Online “appointments” aren’t really appointments, or so I’ve been told.

Recently I visited the AFC urgent care for green card physical for my dad. When I called to schedule appt, appointment was given in 2 days. When I check in, there were about 5-6 people in line, but they checked people in few minutes. Rooming nurse was excellent. After the initial visit we were called for further testing, once it was done paperwork was ready within 24hrs and we were called and notified. They have professional, efficient and friendly staff.

I checked in at the American Family Care urgent care in Mentor because of enormous pain and bleeding for cutting my finger. I was immediately taken to a room and received incredible care by an outstanding and caring nurse, Robin, and compassionate Dr. Cingireddi. They didnt leave my sight and were completely focused on treating my finger. They went above and beyond to provide great medical care with compassion. Me and my family saw it and we appreciate your pure kindness and care.Parvaneh

Doctors offices should run as smoothly as this urgent care. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. All of my concerns were handled. The assistant (I wish I would have caught her name),and Dr. Smiley were incredible.

A friend of mine told me about this place and since then, I have been there 2-3 times, Ive taken my daughter there as well as my elderly mother. I went in for a knee injury at 645 and was out by 8. The staff was amazing and friendly. I had to get stitches and by far, easiest yet. They are great at what they do! I will be using them for any and all of my urgent care needs.

My husband went in for bronchitis, double ear infections and sinusitis! The doctor was kind and took time with my husband. We didn’t feel rushed at all!! Clean and wonderful staff!!

I have had to take my toddler to the doctors on numerous occasions and AFC has always been able to see us quickly, when we cant make appointments with our regular doctor. Everyone who works here is respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly to us. I was initially worried about billing, since most urgent cares are unexpectedly costly, but AFC was comparable to a scheduled doctors appointment. All around I am very happy with the services they offer.

I would just like to point out that I wrote a review a few months ago and they managed to remove it, hiding the truth about how Kristen Smiley and her staff made me feel mortified, completely uncomfortable and refused treatment when I had asthmatic bronchitis. This location is a joke, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I went into the urgent care after scheduling an appointment online. The check in was easy and fast. I didnt wait long and the staff was very polite and attentive. The Doctor came in pretty fast and I received my test results within 20 minutes! The facility was clean. I definitely recommend this urgent care!

This place is amazing. We have been there a few times and every time, they were so warm and inviting. They are nothing like other urgent cares in the area. Tonight, we showed up 10 minutes before close. I apologized all over the place because I’m sure they would have liked to go home, but our daughter broke the base of her metatarsal. They were so, so nice. Welcomed us in, treated her, even let her roll around in a wheelchair in the waiting room just for fun (she was the only patient left) while we waited for the X-ray to be read which really helped raise her spirits. I can’t recommend them enough.

Since we moved to the area two years ago we always received outstanding service and care from doctors here.Everyone is so kind and helpful and we recommend them to all our friends and family.

The staff and Dr. Cingireddi are welcoming, extremely supportive and professional. I live almost an hour from his practice and wouldnt consider going anywhere else.

I loved how easy it was to schedule an appointment! The girl at the front desk and nurses were very helpful and I didn’t have to wait long at all. However, once the PA arrived in the room I did feel very rushed and as if I was in a drive thru. I understand urgent cares can get busy but unfortunately there was maybe one other patient at the time. Other than that it was a good experience.

Awful experience with the woman at the front desk. When she couldnt figure out my insurance, she immediately got an attitude about it. She made me feel like my health didnt matter at all. When I attempted to explain my insurance she got an attitude with me saying that it was not possible. So I called my customer care representative for insurance and offered to have her speak with the front desk woman, who immediately refused saying I dont do that. Incredibly rude and inappropriate behavior for the first person that sick people need to deal with. Absolutely will not be returning there.

My husband and I came in as first time patients into AFC for a rapid COVID test. The staff was super polite and courteous. The front desk ladies are very kind and helpful. Although there was many people ahead of us, the wait was not as long as I expected. Once called In, I loved that after every patient nurses and staff took the responsibility of cleaning and disinfecting the rooms after every patient. The process was quick and easy. Healthcare workers answered all our questions very politely and respectful. Truly a good experience. Great job AFC staff and thank you for all you do ladies/gentlemen.

I have never left a review anywhere but after being to the mentor urgent care I knew I had to. I brought my boyfriend in for a broken ankle. Staff was SO friendly. We had quick service and just a fantastic experience. The doctor and nurses were all amazing and made this experience a good one considering a broken leg 😂

This urgent care is a great place to come to. When I broke my arm they were very nice and helped me along the way. The receptionist, Kim is very kind! Will recommend to everyone

They put you in a room to make you wait over an hour: this happens every time we go there. Waiting room is quick but you’ll be waiting hours for a doctor. And seems like they have no urgency. Doctors will be standing around and taking their time to go into rooms. Almost always get misdiagnosed too. Staff can be rude. Don’t recommend this place unless you have absolutely no where else to go.

Doctor cingreddi is hands down the best doctor. He cares for his patients,values their opinion amd always listens.

This has been the most wonderful medical experience of my life! I wish that I could have them as my PCP office. Amanda at the front desk is super helpful, very kind and understanding. Most of the time when I go to a doctors office, I feel like I’m rushed. At this office, I feel like I’m listened to and taken care of appropriately. The nurses and doctors here are simply outstanding and these are the types of people I want to be in charge of my well-being.

My throat was closing up and sore and I was refused service because my ID was expired. I would give 0 stars if possible. Im a human being. If I would have passed out you would throw my body outside and call it a day. I am on the phone with my lawyer now and hes drafting a lawsuit sapina. See you in court

My experience with the urgent care was great. My wait time was very fast, everyone was friendly, I would come back again.

I have to say that this center is probably one of the best medical experiences I have ever had.When my regular doctor that I see, wouldn’t even call me back or give me the time of day these people told me to come right in, they saw me they took very very nice care of me.Everyone in the place was very pleasant and professional and I cannot thank them enough!

The best visit to urgent care I’ve ever had. They met me outside and helped me out of the car. There was not a long wait. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The PA I saw listened to me, let me ask questions, and gave me options. I’ve already told a few friends to go there!

This place is quick, efficient and the staff are so kind! Is there sometimes a longer wait, yes.. but there’s also online appointment scheduling available that cuts wait time to half or almost nothing. Treat them kindly as they work long hours/days and are only trying to keep us all safe and have a convenient and fast place to go to. Try to be as understanding as possible, this pandemic is maximizing the medical field visits/patients. 100% recommend over other local urgent cares!!

I was in need of an urgent care and didn’t want to go to the Lake Health one because of poor past experiences. I chose AFC because it was close to me and had a few good reviews. Now I’m one of those good reviews! It wasn’t busy (which I’m sure will change once people experience their friendliness), I was in and out under an hour. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Cingireddi was fabulous, great bedside manner, made the whole experience light and positive (which was good because I was very nervous). 2 days after the visit I got a personal voicemail and text message from him asking how I was doing. I’ve never had a Dr. personally call me just to ask how I was. Genuinely seemed like he wanted to know if he did the right thing and if I was better. Others have said it on here already, if this place could be my regular doctors office I would do it!

I don’t always give reviews, but when I do… it’s because these people are Rockstars! I chose this urgent care over another because of the good reviews they had and I’m glad I did. I loved being able to book an appt online. Had an appt for 11:45 on a Saturday and was in & out within 45 minutes! That included getting checked in and filling out my info as a new patient too. They even sent a prescription directly to my pharmacy and it was ready immediately after my appt. All personnel were amazing & super pleasant. I literally can’t say enough good things - I would definitely recommend!

I have been here twice and both times I have been so pleased with the level of care. The professionalism of all the staff is impressive. It is a very clean and well run facility and I am so glad they are in my neighborhood!

Scheduled an appointment online. Staff was pleasant and everyone is working so hard to take walk-ins for COVID testing in conjunction with scheduled appointments. Once I was seen, they took time to explain everything thoroughly. Thank you for all your work nurses!!! We appreciate you and all you do!!

Just came here for a rapid covid test. Even though there was about a thirty minute wait (they have had 174 patients in and out of the office today alone) staff was pleasant and place is very clean. Right after my name was called and brought into a room I got my test done within literally a minute. I would recommend to others and come back.

I was impressed! Very smooth operation. Well run. Waiting time was minimal. Staff was excellent and I was able to have an x-ray on site. Will recommend in a heartbeat!

I originally went to the Cleveland Clinic urgent care just to find out it was closed. Well I am very happy it was because it led me to this urgent care, AFC. The staff was amazing! Quick, friendly, concerned about me and the doctor was funny, quick and very responsive. He was awesome! If I ever need another urgent care Im definitely coming here!! 😁

Honestly AFC Urgent care was the nicest and honestly the quickest urgent care Ive been to. The staff was so nice and understanding I definitely recommend coming here for health needs. I definitely would try to make an appointment so you and the staff dont need to worry if they have enough tests for you.

Dont bother coming here, other area urgent cares are quicker and more efficient. I scheduled online an appointment for my daughter for a covid-19 test. We arrived five minutes early. There were about 8-10 people already in the waiting area. My daughter was not taken back until 45 minutes later. Whats the point of making an appointment when you arrive, it is first come - first serve. I will not recommend this urgent care, nor will my family be back. Rather go to Cleveland clinic or Lake Urgent care.

Dr Cingerredi is a great Physician to work with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

I have never in my 40 years on this planet walked out of an urgent care happy and relaxed. Every urgent care should be like this. Fast, efficient and actually listen to you.Only bad thing is I can’t make them my primary!Thank you for showing me healthcare can be a good experience.

Friendly staff at the desk. I always seem to go when they are close to closing or very slow so my wait time has been minimal. The test results for covid or flu test are quick and I am given paperwork with resukts if needed, so I am normally in and out in less than 30 to 45 minutes. Cant say how busy it Iis during the day. Did come one time during posted hours and they had closed early which was inconvenient.

Your staff was friendly, courteous and incredibly helpful. Danielle, I apologize if I misspelled that, took my appointment very last minute and happened to sign me in with absolutely no problems. Lovely visit. Will for sure be back again. Hopefully not too soon!

Decent care, poor business practices.UHC listed as an insurance they accept on website. Nope, pay extra with the bait and switch. Im sorry the website is not up to date was what I was told. Considering that my appt was in December and contracts are annual, how out of date is the website?Made an appointment for 8:30 am 14 hours in advance online only to get pushed back by 4 walk-ins, which required me to cancel other appointments in my day. When I asked if I should have just walked in, I was told yes.Aside from a good NP and the nurse doing the prescreen once I got back, this was not a good experience. When I called I was told that other area urgent cares were a 4 hour wait, implying that I was served better than if I went somewhere else, and should accept what happened.

I’ve been to AFC twice in the last week. Once for my back, second for a COVID test. Both times the staff made me feel very welcomed, made sure I knew what they were doing and made sure it was okay. Over all, a fantastic staff here.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. Upon discovering this clinic I have been a regular visitor (my family as well). My experience today really topped the cake. Always fast and friendly!! I make my appointments online and have never had more than a 10 minute wait. Super clean facility. Doctors actually care and listen. I go here over any of the other local urgent cares.

This was my second time to this urgent care in the last 2 weeks first time with my two children (one is a newborn not a lot of urgent cares take newborns) and this time for myself ,it’s very clean and the staff is friendly. It took only 10-15 mins to be seen WITHOUT scheduling an appointment online mind you there was at least 7 other patients infront of me. They are very efficient and quick I would definitely recommend this urgent care!

Amazing experience! From the front desk staff to the medical personnel behind the scenes, everyone is so polite. Fast service and better than any other urgent care I have been to before. We be back again if we ever need an urgent care visit.

AFC Urgent Care is amazing! I had cold-like symptoms so I went in to get checked out and they did a rapid strep and COVID test, both of which came back in less than 10 minutes! The staff was very kind and Dr. Cingereddi was thorough and had me feeling better in no time. Highly recommend!

Afc is the best Urgent Care I have ever went too, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Very easy check-in process, My wait was not long at all. I even had a x-ray and was in and out less than a hour. The entire medical team was Excellent. Thankyou so much AFC Urgent Care 🤟🏽

They are really nice and really good with their patients, but….and this is a big enough but to get just a 2 star review. They sent blood work out to a company called quest diagnostics. What was supposed to be a $75 urgent care visit became a $900 mistake without any warning.

Staff was very nice and the doctor was thorough and did not rush and answered all questions.

Our pediatrician is on vacation so we tried you guys out. I was worried about it, but everyone there was very friendly and we were in and out fast. Thank you!

Everything about American Family Care in Mentor was wonderful. It felt very little like an urgent care facility and more like a family doctor. Dr. Cingireddi was outstanding. He went above an beyond during several visits to help my take care of an abdominal wound. He gave me his personal contact information and checked on my progress frequently, which is more than my could have expected. He was knowledgeable, empathetic, compassionate, comforting, and he explained everything ever well. He was able to arrange follow up visits with Dr. Greg and CNP Kristin when I needed additional services. Dr. Greg was also very knowledgeable, kind and gentle. He made me feel very comfortable. CNP Kristin was outstanding as well. She went above and beyond in the services she provided and helped me feel confident that I was going to heal/recover from my allergic reaction. The nursing assistants were all great, but especially Becky, who frequently works with Dr. Cingireddi. She was so very patient, made shots painless, and was extra comforting. Even the front desk and intake process was easy. Mike was so friendly and supportive. Their checkin with the iPads makes things quick. I never had long waits, even on the holiday. Thank you American Family Care. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them!! I trust them with my life!

Absolutely terrible. I came in for a COVID rapid test. Nurse comes in, tests me, and says that the doctor will be in within about 15 minutes. 50 minutes go by and still no sign of the doctor. Instead, three nurses and the doctor are sitting at the nurses station listening to Shakira, and Christmas songs. Being an employee here should be an embarrassment.The doctor comes in my room after I ask them if I can leave. Tries to make small talk. Sorry for your experience, blah blah blah.I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. C was so wonderfully caring and kind when seeing my child for pink eye. He made him feel so comfortable. My son was nervous about the appointment but after the doctor left the room he said, mom, I really like that guy! Hes so funny and made me forget how scared I was. When there was a mixup with the pharmacy, Dr. C called us after hours to make sure it was sorted. It was an overall excellent experience.

The nurse practitioner was incredibly kind and caring. The staff was very nice and service was prompt.

All good! Dr. Cingireddi is the best; my reason for driving 25 miles farther each way to continue to have him as my doctor.

I came to the clinic on Easter morning I had been suffering from covid migraines for a few days. I arrived at the clinic and was taken to an exam room immediately the nurse who came in the room to check me in couldn’t have been nicer! She was so helpful and kind! Then when the doctor came in he was extremely kind and caring so much so that I would consider switching to him as my regular physician if his office were closer! Upon checking out I found the front desk staff to be equally as kind and caring! DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!

This facility and the operation of it are in sharp contrast to a miserable experience I had with a WellNow clinic in Parma. Registration for an appointment was easy, they answer the phone, they have tablets for informational forms, the staff is courteous, the waiting area is comfortable, and the appointment was almost on time (just a little behind). I would strongly recommend and will return here if needed.

Dr C. Is the BEST. My family has followed him from CC to UH to his own office in Mentor.

Have been waiting to here from a human being for 3 days now. The pharmacy cant even get a response. This place is a disgrace to patients in need of prescription refill. Go ahead for giggles and try to get someone to even answer the phones before you make the mistake of going there.

They have always gotten me in and out in a good amount of time. I’ve been here countless times between myself husband and daughter for a million Covid tests amongst other reasons. They have a friendly staff and it’s a very clean business.

Very rude and unprofessional. I walked in with my daughter to get her tested for covid. I dont think our feet were even in the door and the woman said we are not taking anymore walk ins today. There was only one person in the waiting room. I had just checked the website before coming and it said covid testing walk ins now available. We were there within 10 minutes. I said I just checked the website. She told me the website says covid walk ins until 3 pm only. I am not sure where it says that, but I could not find it. She then proceeded to tell me they have seen over 250 people that day. Again I dont know what that has to do with anything. I work in a level 1 trauma ER and see alot of people in one day too. I am not rude nor do I have an attitude about it. I think you need a new receptionist greeting people properly when they walk in.

Worst urgent care to work for the owner is very rude! She doesn’t appreciate her employees and all they do for her! She thinks she owns them! You will work a whole 12 hour shift with out getting a break not one! Will let you work understaffed just to save a buck! She will having you doing more work then the job you accepted!

This facility is very nice. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. On Easter I hurt my arm and the dr and his staff were awesome and made the situation so much better. The next day the dr followed up with me to make sure I was feeling better. I totally recommend AFC

Website doesn’t give accurate information and lets you make an appointment with your insurance but when you get there they want you to pay out of pocket. Also receptionist is very condescending from the moment you walk in.

Quick and easy appointment made online. Showed up 15 minutes early to fill out information. Only sat for 5 minutes and I was in 5 minutes earlier than expected. Professional, friendly and understanding. I hope I dont need to be back, but if I do I would be happy to have to come here!

The service was fast for an urgent care. However, the staff was unpleasant from the moment we walked in. Reception was rude and very detached. The nurse was ok but the Dr. we saw could really stand to work on her bedside manner. Wont be returning

My experience was terrible the front desk girl was arguing with me bc I have cut my finger and i needed stitches and very rude and I walked out and I’ve been bleeding for 1 1/2 there should’ve been no excuse very unprofessional and rude. I will never be back.

If you owe a balance after a visit, PLEASE keep track of your payments. This company sent me to collections because they couldnt verify some of my payments even though I paid them through the patient portal. I received a phone call from a collection agency about an amount that I dont owe.Totally embarrassing and unprofessional. After arguing with the BILLING department, they FINALLY told me I should have NEVER received ANY collection calls.I would NEVER use this facility AGAIN for any health care needs.UPDATE: Trent (office manager at AFC Mentor) took care of the balance on my account for customer service satisfaction. He was very friendly and pleasant to talk with over the phone.

Very kind, compassionate, and thorough physicians, techs, and assistants. Super efficient system and set-up. In and out in under an hour with full tests and x-rays. Very highly recommended for any minor medical needs.

AFC is fast, efficient and everyone is so nice! Only thing I would say is that if you’re having breathing issues (and maybe hoping for a steroid) they don’t take patients for that.

Staff and doctor were so helpful and caring I was in and out quickly and had all my needs met and concerns considered.

I had a 9:00 appt.(got there at 8:45) & tried to check in online when I got there. Couldn’t figure out how to check in so I called. The girl that answered said they’re having IT problems & can’t see anyone until it’s fixed. Ok so I asked how long. She said she didn’t know, maybe 30 minutes. I asked if they could call me as I was sitting in the parking lot. She said they would call. About 9:30, I saw some people wearing scrubs getting in their cars & leave. Assuming they were from here since they had scrubs on. So I called to check what was going on & no one answered the phone. I sat there a little longer watching people (probably had appts too) walk up to the doors to find out they were locked. I didn’t go to the doors to see if there was a sign posted that they were closed, but figured they were since they all left. I called again at 11:00 & still no answer or voicemail. What kind of place is this? Who does that? At least call me back to tell me I can’t be seen. That was an hour wasted of my time. I’m pretty sure I have bronchitis & need an antibiotic, but won’t be getting one today unfortunately. So mad right now!

This Urgent care is awesome! Very clean and the whole Dr. and staff were very friendly. I took a Covid19 test there and I got the result within 15 minutes!I would highly recommend them!
