HerMD Millburn

I had made the trip from Monmouth County to Millburn due to feeling really good about the provider. The aesthetic first off is vibrant! I appreciate the cohesiveness of the design and its ability to draw someone in. The environment of the office was inviting, highly focused on wellbeing. This is evidenced by the books displayed, message on the bathroom mirror, feminine items provided as well as drinks and treats. The social environment was friendly, prompt and warm. I was seen within minutes and given as much time as needed for my appointment without any rush. The physical environment was set up in a way that was absent of feeling like a medical office and made you feel like this was a place you would WANT to be. Evidenced by the seating in the room, and the providers casual clothing (absent of a white coat) . I spoke with Melanie, and I felt more knowledgeable coming out of the appointment. She was personable, transparent, knowledgeable and patient centered. The best part, is that they take insurance as some of these models may not. Also, the ability to have longer hours is what sealed the deal for me making an appointment. Health is essential as well as the relationship you have with your providers. By this visit, I can tell lot of care in the provider selection and office space was very delicately thought out.

Outstanding service! Beautiful office space where you can relax and let go of stresses. The doctor was fantastic! Spent an hour getting to know me and my history, patiently asking and answering questions. Addressed all my concerns and was super kind and patient. Highly recommend this place for a unique and positive experience.

Absolutely love HerMD. I’ve been seeing Brianna for over 3 years for Botox treatments and just recently for filler; she is absolutely wonderful, professional, and welcoming. She always listens to my concerns and offers her suggestions while ensuring I feel comfortable. I always leave feeling like the best version of myself. Highly recommend seeing her whether you’re a seasoned injectable patient or a first-timer.

I have been going to Suzi for 2 or so years and she is truly the best! I followed her to HerMD from her previous practice. I like to keep my look natural but ~enhanced~ and she always gives me exactly the look I strive for. I love her honesty, and she will let me know if she thinks I may be doing too much filler, which is personally not the look I go for. She’s so talented and precise which I appreciate. Suzi was my PA go to at a previous practice, disappointed that she left, but found her!! Yay! I reached out to her about experimenting with Botox. Suzi made me comfortable, never pushes anything on you and explains everything. She understands when someone feels a bit nervous and is so patient and caring. An added bonus is she is a PA of dermatology. Best of both worlds in skin care.

The PA Suzi Cohen is amazing! I saw her for Botox and fillers and love my results. She is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel comfortable. She is a perfectionist and a master at her trade. If you want to feel younger and more confident go see Suzi!

I had my fist visit today with Melanie Zavala and I felt heard, and we were able to address my questions and make a plan for treatment. I’m very happy with my visit, this practitioner and the professionalism and courtesy at the office. I look forward to continue my post-menopause health care at HerMD Millburn.

Ms Linder was amazing. I am in my late 40s with a lot of concerns, she listened to all of them without making me feel crazy. She actually made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Very hard to schedule an appointment. My main care gyno who I was working with went on medical leave without telling me for a month. I hope everything is ok and I understand things happen but I had just taken tests. Then the front desk have been switching my times back and forth and making it a HUGE inconvenience to try to even have a follow up with scheduling. Do NOT recommend this place just due to the organization it.

Absolutely loved my first experience here. My questions were thoroughly answered, time was taken to listen to many of my health concerns. Loved that blood work was done right there, my results came in the next day. The place is extremely comforting from the moment you walk through the door. All the staff are very courteous and professional.

Amazing experience, the office is beautiful. The staff is nice and Dr. Melanie took her time educating me on all of my concerns. She wasn’t in a rush she took her time to get to know me and explained everything which I appreciated so much. Will def come back and recommend to others!

Firstly, the interior decoration was incredible! It was so very clean, comfortable, spacious and modern styled office which made me feel more relaxed especially when visiting an OBGYN. The assistant was kind, patient, detailed and thorough. I was impressed at how much my doctor allowed me to truly speak and talk to her about my health. She listened to every last word. She gave me medication options that were reasonable for my lifestyle and concerns. This was my first time visiting and I already trust this office and Dr Phillips to be my long term care provider.

Melissa Phillips was amazing. I have been looking for a gyno that I was comfortable with and listened to my concerns and came back with solutions and options. I found my place finally after years of searching. I loved Melissa’s honesty and knowledge. I walked out feeling great and hopeful that I am headed down the right path of being me again. I love HerMD and all the services they provide as well.

Her MD is such a great place. Melissa Phillips is the most caring compassionate practitioner I have encountered. She listens to your concerns and addresses them with not only extensive knowledge but compassion and understanding. She takes steps above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, for example, I had to get a biopsy and knowing it will be uncomfortable, She first used a topical numbing cream and waited for it to work before using the lidocaine. I have had several procedures elsewhere and this extra step was not even offered. She is very thorough in giving options and explanations as well. The offices atmosphere was very calming and comfortable.

Finally a practice, that is women helping women! On top of the office being Aesthetically Beautiful. They treat you like person not a number and they really listen! They care!!! NP Zavala is AMAZING! If you are looking for a menopause specialist, I highly recommend her! I’m starting to feel like myself again!

They listen to me!!! This makes me feel so much better as they have given me relief while other doctors just minimized my symptoms. HerMD and their staff are awesome and NP Melanie Zavalas is a rockstar. Highly recommend for all ladies especially my older Gen Xers.

Her MD Millburn is not the average doctors office. The decor is lovely and the little details create a relaxing atmosphere. Staff and doctors were friendly and knowledgeable, professional without being stuffy. I would highly recommend.

Best doctors visit I’ve ever had! Nurse practitioner Melanie Zavala, took her time to answer all my questions and explain everything in detail. Very clean office, and had no wait time at all. I was recommended by my coworkers and we are all impressed by this office!! Recommended 10/10

The facility was super clean, warm and inviting. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There was a spa feelTo it (beverages provided) and the Nurse Practitioner I saw, Melanie Zavala, was easy to talk to, compassionate, understanding and super helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

A visit to doctors office is always gives me stress, but I felt so relieved here, Priya and Melissa made me so comfortable and whole session was easy going after that. They treat you very well, give you plenty of time to go through all your concerns. The environment is very friendly. And Oh boy the office is so aesthetically beautiful.

Suzi is the absolute best injector I’ve ever had the pleasure to see. She is very thorough, clean, explains everything well, and gentle. I love that she is constantly learning and educating herself to be the best injector and it really shows! I’ve been getting Botox with Suzi for a little over a year now and will never switch to anyone else. She knows proper placement that works with my facial anatomy to give me the most natural look. She is also probably the best in the area for lip injections! She does a fantastic job and when it comes to injectables, she’s the only one I truly trust to touch my face.

Many prior posts have commented on the beautiful aesthetics, and theyre not wrong. It was soothing, comforting and welcoming. I appreciated the informative books that were available to browse while waiting for my appointment. Melanie Zavala, the nurse practitioner, was warm and attentive. I appreciate getting to talk to the provider fully clothed, before the exam. She was knowledgable and talked me through any and all options. I was slightly apprehensive to leave my ob-gyn of over 14+years, but Im very happy I made the switch.

What a wonderful experience! I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr. Javaid and traveled three hours from Upstate New York to the New Jersey office to see her. The office was clean and pleasant, not at all like a doctors office. The staff was polite and attentive. Dr. Javaid was amazing as expected. She listened and provided good treatment solutions for my menopause symptoms. Her office accepted my insurance and all my bloodwork was done in the office. After trying to find a doctor who will listen, Im so happy to be a patient at HerMD. Highly reccomend.

Great experience! Outer waiting area was pleasant, modern and welcoming. I was greeted quickly upon entering and told to freely help myself to coffee, water or an organic snack. The ladies who greeted me throughout my visit were all very professional and pleasant. I liked that they all acknowledged my presence whether assisting me or just walking by. No clipboard of paperwork to complete as a link was sent to my email weeks before my appointment. Pamphlets and brochures with samples were tastefully displayed on the tables. Products pertaining to women’s health were proudly available on a shelving unit. Some items I had never seen before in my life and had to ask the purpose. I was seen by the professional, soft spoken and pleasant Melanie Zavala (WHNP-BC). She explained what to expect for the first and second visits. I felt very comfortable and reassured that all my questions were answered. For the first time ever, I did not have to censor my questions or feel too embarrassed to ask. Services needed like blood draws and ultrasounds were performed in-house. It is truly a center by women for women. I can’t wait to start experiencing some of the aesthetics offered. Very nice!

Very nice office space, plenty of parking.Everyone I encountered (receptionist, assistant, phlebotomist; and Healthcare practitioner-Jacki Linder)was courteous. Jacki Linder listened to my concerns (many) and took time to explain things...and make suggestions and recommendations.I never felt rushed. A very pleasant experience.

Dr. Somi Javaid was warm, intelligent and easy to talk to. She listened to my concerns and gave me options for a variety of my menopause symptoms, which are intense and difficult to treat due to my inability to take estrogen. She believed me, made me feel validated and supported, and assured me she would not give up on me. Most of all, she gave me hope again!

So far so good! I went for my annual gyn appt here yesterday for the first time. Melanie was very open and easy to talk to. She suggested testing that in retrospect I realize previous doctors probably should have given my symptoms! She also ordered a blood test - blood work done in same location right after appt - quick and easy. I received a referral for a nutritionist who accepts my insurance plan! Today came back for sonogram - also in office. Easy peasy.I definitely felt listened to and very comfortable as the medical offices are beautiful and serene, and no waiting time. Felt more spa-like than medical - in a good way! Looking forward to my follow up and will definitely recommend.

My three hour drive was worth the thoughtful conversation that helped me navigate the data around menopause. We wasted no time to create a plan to support my health mentally and physically. I cannot rave about this place enough and especially their PA, Suzi Cohen. I just had Morpheus done with her, and love my result and the whole experience!Absolutely no pain at all and looked totally fine the days to follow. Suzi happens to also be my go-to for Botox. She is very thorough and listens to your concerns, then delivers! I havent needed to get my lips done yet, but will 100% be seeing her for this. Just look at her IG, her work with lips is beyond!!

HerMD is all that and more. After being treated like an inconvenient afterthought by my previous OBGYN practice once I was past childbearing age, HerMDs ads appealed to me, so I made an appointment. SO glad that I did. Couldnt be happier with this practice and everyone there.

I really liked my caregiver and expected my follow up would be equally good.The person who called after I left a message regarding a panel was not my provider.Every question I had was met with an abrupt we dont do that here. My questions were all regarding normal women s health concerns.My referral was for a doctor who has no appointments for literally six months despite the urgency of treatment.At NYU Langone, they handled handled referrals through the office as they cared about follow up.To be clear, its an issue that is addressed at every other OB/GYN I have had.The referral system was a name on a post it. This is not what I was expecting from my thoughtful intake.

My first time there was great was incredibly pleasant. The environment was peaceful, had great Devore, calming atmosphere and inviting. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. I felt heard, respected and treated liked my concerns were taken seriously. I recommend HerMD.

I wish I had better things to say about this place because I had high hopes and a good review from a friend. Unfortunately, I found their care to be fat-phobic. My provider asked me about my thyroid multiple times and made a big deal of checking it, even though I have never had any thyroid issues and no family history. When she called me to discuss my bloodwork, the first thing she said was “Well good news, your thyroid looks good!” I was never concerned about this and it was odd to me she was. Being in a bigger body it’s hard not to think she made assumptions about my health based solely on how I looked. She was also overly alarmist about my bloodwork on the phone — telling me my A1C results made me prediabetic and telling me it’s not a good way to go into a pregnancy (I’m trying to conceive) and that I should lose weight if I don’t want to potentially get gestational diabetes or have other complications. I was honestly shocked on the phone. She never even told me what my A1C number was, I had to look it up later. When I looked it up I realized that I was only .1 over the “normal” range. I also think it’s awful advice to tell someone trying to get pregnant that they need to go on a weight loss journey…I can’t think of a less hospitable environment for a baby than a body that’s going through those types of intense changes.My pap smear was totally fine and other than the strange obsession with my thyroid in the appointment, I actually enjoyed my visit. I cannot condone the way my provider delivered information about my bloodwork, though. Be warned that this place may not be weight neutral if that’s the type of care you’re looking for. I am a healthy size 14/16, for reference.

HerMD was a really wonder experience. I felt heard and feel like I have a partner with me in my menopause health journey. The clinic is also gorgeous.

Ive told every single friend they MUST switch to Melissa Phillips at HerMD in Millburn. I not so casually bring up my new GYNO in any convo I can. I am beyond grateful to Melissa for being the practitioner who finally freaking listened to me and figure out my chronic pH issue. Melissa is above and beyond a super human- she cares, she listens, shes smart, shes determined, shes loving, shes caring. How is it possible I love going to a GYNO office?And the office and staff? Besides it looking and feeling like a spa, everyone from front desk (hi Ebony!) to medical assistants and RNs (Hi Priya, Hi Nicole!) and blood (Hi Syiedah!) are the sweetest humans to walk this planet. I will not be going back to my old OB office and am a HerMD fan FOR LIFE!

I would not recommend if you are perimenopausal. I went hoping they could guide me in the right direction dealing with the symptoms and I was recommended a supplement. Not helpful at all. Also I am still dealing with the billing department as they were paid twice once by me and once by insurance and I we will see how this goes I’m not confident. After you were paid by me in full in August why would you submit to the insurance company in October ? It’s now January and I’m seeking a refund.

Listen, the office is gorgeous, the people are gorgeous! If you are in need of a doctor that listens, asks meaningful questions and is creating a plan that is tailored to your individual needs, Dr. Parisi is the person you want to see.

I have NEVER had such a thorough and thoughtful consultation at any medical practice in my entire life. From start to finish I felt like a rock star! I actually got a little throat lumpy to be honest. WHY isn’t everyplace like HerMD??? I have a feeling that this is the beginning of something BIG!!!

HerMD is a great facility and everyone is so friendly, I fell in love with this facility when I walked in the door. I recommend them to everyone. They are professional from the Receptionist to the doctors. They make you feel special.
