Orchid Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

I could not recommend Orchid or Lisa’s expertise more highly!! I came to Orchid after having my second miscarriage. I had done acupuncture in the past to help manage anxiety and it changed my life, but I had stopped going at the onset of the pandemic. When my husband and I started having fertility issues, I thought acupuncture could perhaps help me again. We already had a two year old who we conceived and delivered without issue, so secondary infertility was something that hit us a bit by surprise. I did miscarry one more time early on after beginning to see Lisa, but Lisa was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole journey. Today, I am grateful to report that I am 7 months pregnant and still so grateful for Lisa’s guidance, support, and mentorship over the course of my time with her. From which vitamins to take, to weekly acupuncture sessions and just having her input to balance out the “western” standpoint of my doctors (whom I value and respect) with her “eastern” and more holistic approach (which I also value and respect), I felt like I had control over my situation after I started working with her, and for me that made a huge difference, mentally emotionally and physically. Thank you again Lisa!! :)

When I was prepping to start IFV, my fertility clinic suggested acupuncture and referred me to Orchid Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. I started seeing Lisa once a week and continued through my egg retrieval, transfer and am now pregnant. I can’t imagine having gone through this without her. Beyond the physical benefits I felt from my sessions, Lisa was a huge support, educating me along the way and helping me with a lot of the stress and anxiety I was feeling.Lisa truly listens and cares about what you’re going through. Appointments never feel rushed, the space is warm and inviting, and everyone you come into contact with is a pleasure to talk with. I would 100% recommend to anyone going through infertility.

My husband and I have been going through infertility for 2 years now and I thought Id give acupuncture a try. I had my first ever acupuncture appointment with Rebecca in the beginning of March. After just one amazing visit (literally it was amazing and Rebecca was awesome) they had to close because of Covid-19.I am now going through IVF and would like to be seen again during this time. I emailed Rebecca letting her know that I would like to be seen however, I have very limited availability because of my fertility appointments and work hours. I would need weekend and/or evening appointments. Rebecca was incredible and got me scheduled right away. I cant wait to see her very soon and praying for a successful cycle!

Rebecca has provided us with exceptional support and service. She has educated us throughout this process. Advocated for us with our fertility clinic and created a safe space during this exhausting process. She truly cares and it shows. The space is private, calming and supportive to how you want to proceed. Highly recommended.

I dont write reviews very often, but I felt that Orchid Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture deserved my time. This is my first experience with acupuncture so I didnt really know what to expect. I chose Orchid because each staff member is highly educated with extensive credentials.The atmosphere at Orchid is warm and welcoming with private rooms, heated tables and relaxing music. I have been treated by Rebecca, the owner, for a couple of months. She is thorough, thoughtful and professional. She is easy to talk to and she is a great listener. My appointments never feel rushed.In addition to performing acupuncture, Rebecca has provided me with invaluable knowledge on nutrition. After my 3rd treatment, I had a noticeable increase in energy, improvement in digestion and elimination of hot flashes. I always leave the office feeling better than when I walked in and the results are lasting longer after each visit. I consider Rebecca to be a great partner in helping me to achieve my health goals.

Rebecca was great! She was recommended by my fertility clinic and she did not disappoint. She got to know me and understand my fertility journey. I was skeptical on how acupuncture would be but, it was great. It was beyond relaxing.

Suffering from a rare Arthritic Autoimmune disease, I decided to try a more traditional and Eastern approach to my treatment. With my doctors support and encouragement, I started seeing Rebecca for acupuncture. With her insight, expertise, and amazing energy, I was able to walk and breathe better than I had in months! She has helped me to find a more appropriate supplementation to my diet and medication. She never fails to research more information on whats new and effective for treatments of my specific illness and ailments. The quality of care I have received from Orchid has been so important in keeping my disease in remission. I am so lucky to have found Rebecca and all the wonderful staff at Orchid!

Lisa Mussak goes above and beyond any and all expectations. She has been my rock for almost two years now. She not only provides acupuncture services, but she treats the whole person , including different herbal supplements as well. I am thankful to have her in my life.

Rebecca is amazing. She is a wealth of knowledge (without being pushy or overwhelming) and I believe she was part of the reason we got pregnant. She is gentle, always made herself available when I needed her, and is an incredible listener. I can’t thank Rebecca enough!

Jennifer is the most caring massage therapist. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and is so knowledgeable about the power of the mind/body connection. My massages are my body’s escape from the tension of day-to-day living. Thanks Jennifer!!!!

I am a long time client of Rebecca for acupuncture and Jennifer for massage. Both are expert practitioners and kind , supportive people as well! Since the move I am traveling farther to get there but I believe the exceptional care I receive is worth the trip. In addition I am so impressed with the Covid 19 precautions they have in place. Makes it much less stressful to access care.

I have been going to Orchid for several years and have experienced Reiki, acupuncture, and Mayan abdominal therapy. All of the practitioners are wonderful!
