Blue Mountain Clinic is such a special place! I cannot say enough about the staff. They are professional and nonjudgmental, and the level of compassion and genuine concern for their patients is outstanding. Their care goes above and beyond ensuring their patients feel safe and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Hi everybody what I’m about to say is really hard I got an abortion here January 12 anyway the abortion really hurt. Which I knew it was going to, but they told me they were going to give me something strong for the pain, but They didn’t give me anything that made it not so painful during the procedure and then after a couple days I started cramping really bad and I thought it was just my period well it wasn’t. It was a really bad infection in my down there area Well anyway it went away and then I got another one. well I got a call from the doctor today telling me that the infection came from the abortion, so not only did I have to go through the most traumatic thing of my entire life I have an infection now because of it so if I were you, I would not go here. They are the most horrible people ever and even when I wanted to stop because they told me whenever I felt pain, we could stop for a little bit they wouldn’t let me and I tried to call them weeks ago and talk to them and see if something went wrong and they never responded my calls back so again I am forewarning you guys not to go here do your research before you pick this awful place

Have been going to this clinic and Dr Ravitz for several years. Overall have been very satisfied. There have been a couple nurses and receptionists that have been on the rude side. One demanding I pay immediately following an appointment like it was an issue. I’ve always paid on the way out the door, and I know that’s the way it is, no need to demand.Have never waited longer than 15 minutes to get in. Nurses have called me reluctant to give refills. I’m always in once or twice a year and am proactive about getting my labs done before my appointment( which I’m sure isn’t the norm). Was not a problem at all scheduling an appointment during Covid and they called me when they did their vaccine clinics in which was appreciated.

Blue Mountain is exceptional. They provide high quality care that never feels rushed. They take the time to ask lots of questions and are very professional and polite. I never wait very long and have an easy time making appointments. Refills are filled promptly. The office is clean and well organized. I have seen several of the providers and been satisfied with each visit. I will be a long-time patient there.

I filled out the questionnaire to be taken on as a new patient, after my original doctor in town closed her practice. After making me wait two weeks for a response, they sent me a vague letter saying that my medical problems were outside of their scope. I have asthma and depression, and was generally just looking for a primary doctor to receive a referral to be treated for these things by specialists (the ones I talked to required a referral). They also cited being understaffed, which would be a great reason to not be taking on any new clients at all, in my opinion, instead of wasting peoples time. Your doctors shouldnt be cherry picking the easy patients and turning away everyone else.

Super glad they provide womens health services in Missoula-- this is huge. However, call back times from providers or even nurses and receptionists sometimes stretch into weeks, rather that hours or days. If you have a time sensitive medical issue that requires follow up...good luck. This has happened to me multiple times on multiple issues. I switched my entire medical records system over to them from Providence to support their clinic and for them to be my primary care, and I really regret it.

My doctor there is amazing. One of the secretaries, and one of the nurses needs to work on their bedside manner though. They are not very understanding of mental conditions, and not prompt at all about refilling medication. My doctor alone would get a five star here, but the frustration caused by those two employees limits my ability to give them that rating.

After being a patient of Blue Mountain Clinic for 2 years I was informed that I could not be seen because I owed a balance. I had been making payments on what I owed and had the cash to pay the remaining with me. I explained to them that I had been paying as much as my income allowed me and I didnt see an issue but if they preferred I could find another provider. I was told that they could reschedule but my balance had been delinquent for too long. I then informed them that I felt discriminated against due to my level of pay.The finance department tried to convince me otherwise but with out any evidence, I walked out and didnt pay what was left on my balance. A day later I received a letter of patient discharged in the mail, that stated I was rude and would no longer be seen as a patient. A week later I received a letter saying I had a delinquent balance that I had not paid on, I had been making monthly payments, and that it was my final notice before they forwarded the account to collections. I feel that the clinic is very discriminative towards lower income families, other than being rude and insulting my gross income the doctors are caring and available. I once had Dr. Banks call me personally regarding my care. If only she was not part of this clinic I would continue to see her.

I got a vasectomy at Blue Mountain Clinic in fall 2014, and I had a great experience. Of those experiences involving cutting and burning of my vas deferens, it was definitely the best. Dr. Banks was personable and took time to answer my many inane questions, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Even the church people who scolded me outside seemed nice.

I have had alot of experiences with doctors offices in my life due to some serious conditions (tumor in spinal canal, spinal stenosis, fractured spine, sciatica, to name a few). I recently started seeing Dr. Ravitz (since 12/15) after getting on medicaid because I can not work right now (will be going on my 2nd back surgery soon). He and his team, from the nurses to the front desk are the epitamy of what a doctors office should strive for. Dr. Ravitz takes the time to listen to your concerns, provides excellent knowledge and care, and above all he and his team are compassionate and understanding of what you are going through. It comes as no surprise that he continues to be rated the #1 doctor in Missoula by the Independent. It is a well deserved honor for him as his team.

I have never in my life experienced a community clinic that picks and chooses. Pay attention if you want this clinic as your primary care provider, the prescreen form determines your everything, its a litmus test. So go all out with the blood and guts of your life, because they wont give you a chance beyond the forms, to explain why you want or feel you should be seen there. And they take WEEKS to proces it, so should you need an appointment quick, it definitely doesnt occur.. HUGE waste of time, humiliating infuriating and traumatizing.
